Caught! Accused killer of 8 children killed

Shamar Elkins, was a 31-year-old Army National Guard veteran from Shreveport, Louisiana, He is the suspect accused of opening fire during a domestic incident that left eight children dead and two women injured on Sunday, previously served in the Louisiana Army National Guard, officials said.

Shortly after 6 a.m. (CT) on the morning of April 19, 2026,  Elkins carried out shootings at multiple addresses (reported as two or three related homes). The POS allegedly killed eight children aged 1 to 14, with seven believed to be his own biological children or direct descendants. One additional child reportedly escaped. 

Elkins allegedly also shot and wounded two adult women (one critically), including his wife or ex-partner, Shaneiqua Pugh/Elkins (age 34), with whom he had been in a relationship for about 10 years and married since April 2024. They reportedly had four daughters together.
Authorities described the incident as stemming from domestic violence or a domestic disturbance. After the shootings, Elkins fled like a coward, carjacked a vehicle, and led police on a chase into neighboring Bossier City/Parish. 

Thankfully, he was fatally shot by officers during the pursuit (it is however, unclear if it was police fire or a self-inflicted wound as the cause of death).
Hours before the attack, he reportedly posted on social media about a “1 on 1 date” at a burger joint with one of his daughters and shared family photos. Days or weeks earlier, he had posted concerning messages about his wife and marriage.

“Shamar D. Elkins served in the Louisiana Army National Guard from August 2013 to August 2020 as a Signal Support System Specialist (25U) and a Fire Support Specialist (13F),” an Army official told Fox News Digital. “He has no deployment. He left the Army as a private.” 

Seven years in the Army and he ended up at the lowest rank--he must've been a veritable genius.

Authorities say Elkins is accused of carrying out the shooting across multiple locations before fleeing the scene, carjacking a vehicle and later being killed during a confrontation with law enforcement.

Iran: Man who beheaded wife, paraded her head in hand, gets cat nap sentence

Throw a Koran down on the ground in Tehran intentionally, and you will be executed summarily. Behead your teenage wife, put a smile on your face and some pep in your step as you parade her head along the public streets, and get about 8 years in the slammer with your own prayer rug, Koran, thazbee [prayer beads] and three squares a day.

Thus was the fate of Sajjad Heidarnava, the husband of 17-year-old Mona Heidari. He killed her back in February 2022 with the help of his brother in the town in Ahvaz, the capital of Khuzestan. There's video showing him prancing about, head-in-hand, smiling while people look on in horror. And all he got was a lousy nickel plus three bullets at most.

Try putting a photo of Mo in your study and invite a buddy to hang out with, and you will be what gets hanged if he turns you into the so called religious authorities.

The family of Mona Heidari had pardoned the killer rather than demanding qesas — Iran's Islamic law of retribution, like blood money, for instance.

"The accused has no right to protest against the verdict and the decision is final," the spokesman said. In fact, he's lucky they didn't ban him from jumping on a houri.

So it looks as if Sajjad likes 'em young. He married Mona when she was 12 and by the time he cut her head off, she was the mother of a three-year-old son.

After Sajjad's misbehavior, human rights defenders called for changes to the law to protect women against domestic violence and to increase the minimum age of marriage for girls, currently set at 13.

Imagine that we even take these people seriously.

Chip Roy schools Jerry Nadler on guns and women

Nobody will ever accuse House Judiciary Committee Chair Jerry Nadler (D-NY) of being the smartest guy in the room, but if Brian Stelter and Michael Moore aren't in the room, Nadler might be accused of being the fattest.

The Democrats are desperate to push the anti-Second Amendment agenda in Congress but apparently know as much about guns and statistics as scorpions know about the Bible and algebra, as witnessed in the House debate of the Assault Weapons Ban Act of 2021.

Big Jerry, as his friends call him, proved that he didn't know anything about guns, and said the quiet part out loud: he wanted to ban guns that were in common use for personal self-defense.

Guns in common use are protected under the Supreme Court decision in Heller, but Nadler acknowledged that he wants to ban guns that violate the decision. If the left manage to pass anything, you can bet it will go to the Supreme Court and the Court will look back and see the intent was to circumvent the Heller case.

Nadler also stepped in crap during the hearings when Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) took him to task after he tried to pull "facts" out of his nether regions. He said that guns increase the risk to women during domestic violence situations.

“The presence of a gun in domestic violence situations increases the risk of homicide by women by 500%,” Big Jerry said, in a sophomoric attempt to justify why there should be no exceptions to the bill for domestic violence victims being able to protect themselves. “So, pass this amendment, and you’ll see an increase in domestic — in homicides of women by 500%.” 

This lie coming from the Party that cannot define what a woman is.

Chip Roy responded perfectly: “I would note that the chairman just said that the existence of a firearm — I think you might have said in the household, I’m not sure — increases the likelihood of violence by 500% or something of that nature,” Roy began. “And I’d say, well, not if the woman holds it.”

Bahdahbing!

Roy just took Nadler to the toolshed and taught him what a cattle prod is used for. Roy's point, of course, shows how a gun in the hands of a woman is a great equalizer, especially for women in domestic violence situations, not to mention sexual attacks. Jerry would deny women, whatever they are, the right to self-defense. But Roy also pointed out the real point of Nadler's argument was to ban all guns as the big guy failed to limit his so-called "facts" to merely "assault weapons."

“If you’re saying firearms generally, then the next step for the chairman is to limit all firearms — which, let’s get to the heart of it, we know that that is where our colleagues wish to go,” Roy correctly stated.

St. Louis man allegedly kills his wife after released on bail

Samuel Lee Scott, 54,  a Missouri man, was charged with murder Tuesday for allegedly killing his wife after a bleeding heart progressive nonprofit group posted his bail in a domestic violence case, according to prosecutors.

Scott was charged Tuesday with first-degree murder in the death of his wife, 54-year-old Marcia Johnson, several hours after he was released from jail on a domestic abuse case involving her.

Scott had been in jail for a misdemeanor domestic assault charge after he allegedly hit Johnson in the face and threatened to “finish what (he) started” in January. It's amazing that hitting one's spouse in the face is classified as a misdemeanor. What does it take to be considered a felony?

The St. Louis Bail Project posted his $5,000 bail on April 9, court documents obtained by The Associated Press stated. If they had allowed Scott to remain in prison, he might have cooled down long enough not to kill his wife.

Later the same night of his release, Scott was said to have gone to Johnson’s home at around 7:45 p.m. and basically beat her to death. He didn't even have the courtesy to leave a thank you note for the St. Louis Bail Project.

Several hours after the brutal beating, Johnson was rushed to a nearby hospital after a friend found her head and body bloodied. According to a probable cause statement, she was “unconscious, had a broken eye socket, several broken ribs, and was bruised from head to toe.”

Johnson died Sunday, five days after Scott's release which was thanks to the St. Louis Bail Project.

Scott, who had previous drug and assault convictions, admitted he struck Johnson, police said.

The Bail Project has operated in St. Louis since January 2018. Executive Director Robin Steinberg said the organization was "deeply saddened," but bail wasn't to blame for Johnson's death. 

No, it wasn't the money itself that was to blame; it was the policy of releasing dangerous people without regard for their potential violence if put back out on the street.

"No one could have predicted this tragedy," Steinberg said in a statement, without actually having done any investigative work to make this determination. 

"It's important to remember that had he been wealthy enough to afford his bail, or bonded out by a commercial bail bond agency, he would have been free pretrial as well. In times like this, we must come together for this family and keep sight of the need to transform the larger systems that create poverty, racism and violence, including the pretrial bail system."

Except that he wasn't wealthy enough to afford his bail and would have remained in jail until his trial, which would have hopefully determined that he is a danger to his spouse and possibly others.

According to the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence, an average of 20 people experience “intimate partner” physical violence every minute.

One in three women is said to experience some form of physical violence by her partner and this is totally unacceptable.

Michael Avenatti arrested on domestic violence charges #BelieveAllAccusers

So, does Michael Avenatti still stand behind the #BelieveAllAccusers hashtag now that he was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence? Yes, that's correct--porn lawyer for Stormy Daniels was arrested Wednesday on domestic violence charges the LAPD confirmed.

"We can confirm that today LAPD Detectives arrested Michael Avenatti on suspicion of domestic violence," LAPD tweeted. "This is an ongoing investigation and we will provide more details as they become available."

The irony is palpable. It couldn't have happened to a more apropos dude.

The charges came from an alleged incident Tuesday, which prompted law enforcement to respond and report on. The incident was first reported by TMZ and said that Avenatti "kicked" a woman "out of the apartment." That woman may be his ex-wife, but that's unclear.

The sleaze lawyer was pondering a shot at the 2020 presidential race, but he may have blown his chances, especially if he is found guilty. The law must decide his guilt, unlike how he decided that Justice Kavanaugh was guilty without due process.

Avenatti is to law as Jim Acosta is to journalism.

Another reason the left sucks socks that smell

Rep. Jovan Melton (D-Colorado) won re-election for the Colorado House AFTER his arrest record resurfaced. The 1999 guilty plea for misdemeanor assault didn't stop Democrats from voting for him.

But neither did his 2008 arrest on another charge of misdemeanor assault which was dropped soon after the incident. Perhaps he didn't hit her quite so hard in this domestic violence incident and was able to convince her to let it go.

So now that his arrest record went public, Melton won his election by his largest margin in his fourth and final election, winning 15,033 votes or 61.89 percent of the total, according to the Secretary of State's website.

Melton was running unopposed then Republicans nominated former Arapahoe County Commissioner Lynn Myers just a few days after The Denver Post reported about his criminal background.

Upon winning, Melton said, "The voters determined one should not be judged on their past."

Actually, upon Melton winning, the voters determined that they don't care a fiddler's flatulence about a person's character, only their party. 

Trying to save face, top Democrats in the state House tried to encourage Melton to resign in October due to the "deeply disturbing and very serious" revelations in The Denver Post. 

But he didn't.

Melton's arrest in 1999 was for trespassing and harassment related to domestic violence [use your imagination], according to the Boulder County District Attorney's Office. He pleaded guilty to misdemeanor harassment and received a deferred sentence, much like the migrant Muslim doctor in Germany who raped four women and got a suspended sentence. In Melton's case, the judge granted the victim a permanent restraining order against him.

In the 1999 incident, Melton allegedly shouted derogatory vulgar expletives at the victim and was physically violent, according to a police report. The police found no physical evidence of assault, but it might be due to the fact that Melton hits like a Democrat.

Although be pleaded guilty, he later denied any wrongdoing in both arrests, making him a liar at some point.

Due to leftist intersectionality [aka: racism] his fellow legislators and leaders in Denver's black and faith communities rallied around him basically throwing his victim under the proverbial bus.

The funniest part came when former Denver Mayor Wellington Webb said at a news conference, "The Democratic leadership needs to apologize to him and step down themselves," implying that there is no room in the Democratic Party for people who oppose domestic violence.

And the left went after President Trump when he said during his campaign that he could shoot someone on Broadway and get away with it.

If It's Black on White, It's Alright

President "We Shall Overcome" Obama has weighed in on Trayvon Martin and Michael Brown. I understand he plans to weigh in on the final suspension of Baltimore Ravens linebacker, Ray Rice, a black man who beat his then fiancée unconscious. The domestic abuse was captured on an elevator video in the Atlantic City casino where Rice and his fiancée were staying. 

Comparing Rice to his fiancée is like comparing a bull to a kitten--she is much smaller than him. Sugar Ray was able to knock her out with one punch, then he dragged her off the elevator into the lobby where he admitted what he had done. The NFL says that only now have they seen this second video which actually shows him throwing the punch (whereas the first video only showed him doing the dragging).  

Originally, the NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell suspended Rice for two games, a suspension that is less than the one given by the league for smoking pot. With the flack he received from this light punishment Goodell admitted he was wrong and made the suspension 6 whole games and a second offense would be a dismissal from the league. So the message is clear: make sure you get your licks in the first time, you violent asshats.

But the video is damning for Rice but at least he got to marry his enabler.

So it is rumored that Obama plans to speak on the Ray Rice situation.

Obama does not have any plans insofar as I know, of speaking about the gang attack that took place over the weekend in Memphis, TN. Maybe that's because it was a black on white attack.

According to the police, a gang of teens emerged from a strip mall restaurant, where the incident took place. They attacked a 25 year old white man who had gotten out of his car and began walking toward the Kroger's grocery store. Two other employees of the Kroger's saw the attack and went to help. (They too were of the Caucasian persuasion.) The gang whaled on them, beating them into unconsciousness

While the attack took place, a crowd of about 20 teens stood by and laughed, cheering the gang on with "Fan mob!"

Of course, the Memphis Police Commissioner Toney Armstrong did not call it a hate crime.

"We are fully aware of the last night's incidents. It is extremely troubling to see how many young people were involved, especially on the heels of last week's youth forum," Armstrong said. I could go on, but I might throw up in my mouth.

No, Obama or his favorite race-baiter-agitator, the very Revolting Al Sharptongue, will not address this hate crime, or any hate crime when it's a black on white attack.

Nor will Eric Holder likely prosecute those "misguided Memphis kids," any more than he prosecuted the New Black Panthers for voter intimidation of white voters at a Philadelphia polling place who simply wanted to vote in the last presidential election. (It's on YouTube if you haven't seen it.)

The worst part however, isn't the obvious partiality shown to certain interest groups by this administration; it's the fact that Congress has done nothing to check and balance it.

I'm going to go into that shoebox and find my "Throw Them All Out" button.
