College soccer player got benched for not kneeling for BLM--now she's getting big bucks

Kiersten Henig, former VA Tech soccer player refused to kneel along with her teammates, in support of Black Lives Matter and now she's collecting a decent wad of cash because the school benched her and hassled her over her First Amendment rights.

In a report by The Roanoke Times, Ms. Henig agreed to a $100,000 settlement to drop her lawsuit against the school. This was also confirmed by her lawyer, Cameron Norris who explained that neither party had to admit to any wrongdoing, but if you are reading this post, you know who is in the wrong.

Kiersten was a starter on the team in her freshman and sophomore seasons but said she was benched after she chose not to kneel during a pregame ceremony that was planned to honor the racist and violent organization soon after the death of the thug known as George Floyd. [This is not to say that Floyd deserved to die for trying to pass a counterfeit twenty dollar bill or hold a loaded gun on a pregnant woman while his cohorts robbed her home, not exonerate the cop who held him down with his knee on Floyd's neck. But Floyd was not a model citizen and BLM tried to make him out to be godlike.]

Henig blamed the women's head soccer coach, Charles “Chugger” Adair, saying that he had scolded her during halftime at that game. After the no-kneel event, he limited her playing time and she said she was punished for exercising her First Amendment rights.

Since she was not getting any real playing time and was allegedly targeted by Adair in a “campaign of abuse and retaliation” against her, she quit the team.

The suit was filed in March of 2021. It asked that Henig be put back on the team and also be awarded an undisclosed amount in damages, but Henig had graduated by the time the suit was filed and she doesn't plan to finish out her eligibility.

The lawsuit stated that Henig supported social justice initiative [everybody gets the same grades, a trophy and a cookie] but added that she does not support BLM as an organization because of its “tactics and core tenets of its mission statement, including defunding the police.”

"Chugger" [big beer drinker?] is still head coach for Virginia Tech's women's soccer and he released a statement after the settlement. He claimed to be vindicated and adding, “I am pleased the case against me has been closed and I am free to move forward clear of any wrongdoing … It’s unfortunate, but this ordeal was about a disappointment and disagreement about playing time. Today, we have clarity that this case lacked any standing, and without evidence, the truth has prevailed.”

If you believe Adair that this case was about playing time, you might also believe that Joe Biden founded Mensa.

Meanwhile, the  settlement is not final until state officials and officials at Virginia Tech have reviewed and approved it.

But hey, it's Virginia Tech--at least nobody got shot. And let's face it--all lives matter.

Ex-VA Tech soccer player benched for not kneeling, allowed to go forward with her lawsuit

The two most difficult thing in sports is to score a goal in soccer, and the second is for Americans to watch a soccer match.

Kiersten Hening, a former Virginia Tech women's soccer player has sued her former coach after he allegedly benched and pressured her for refusing to get on her knees during a pregame oxymoronic social justice demonstration. A judge has ruled that she can go forward with her lawsuit.

Ms. Hening, who was a midfielder/defender for the Hokies from 2018 to 2020, sued coach Charles "Chugger" Aidair in 2021 on First Amendment grounds, which federal Judge Thomas Cullen announced on Dec. 2 can proceed to trial [because he violated her First Amendment rights if this really happened].

Hening alleged that Adair was not a fan of her conservative political views as did many of her teammates, especially on one-way social justice issues during the zenith of the Black Lives Matter movement in 2020.

Hening further explained in the lawsuit that while she "supports social justice and believes that black lives matter," she "does not support BLM the organization," citing its "tactics and core tenets of its mission statement, including defunding the police."

After Hening declined to kneel during a reading of a "unity statement" before a game against UVA on Sept. 12, 2020, she said Adair "verbally attacked her" at halftime, claiming she was "bitching and moaning" while jabbing a finger in her face.

Actually, it was Adair doing all the bitching and moaning, it seems.

Adair continued to berate Hening until he benched her and ultimately made things so intolerable that she felt compelled to quit the team, according to the suit.

"Hening, who had been a major on-field contributor for two years prior to the 2020 season, also asserts that Adair removed her from the starting lineup for the next two games and drastically reduced her playing time in those games because she had engaged in this protected First Amendment activity. As a result, Hening resigned from the team after the third game of the season," Cullen noted in his recent ruling.

Hening's time on the field dropped off following the incident, the judge noted.

"As a freshman, Hening averaged 76 minutes of playing time; as a sophomore, nearly 88," Cullen wrote. "But during the Clemson game [the next game after the kneeling incident], Hening only played 29 minutes, and, at the UNC game, just 5."

Adair, a card-carrying a-hole, argued that two other players who declined to kneel did not face reduced playing time, moved to dismiss the lawsuit, which was denied.

"Ultimately, Adair may convince a jury that this coaching decision was based solely on Hening’s poor play during the UVA game, but the court, viewing the evidence in the light most favorable to Hening, cannot reach that conclusion as a matter of law," ruled Cullen, who said the issues in the case are fundamental.

"While the U.S. Supreme Court and the Fourth Circuit may not have addressed the novel factual circumstances presented here—i.e., a college coach allegedly retaliating against a player for refusing to kneel with her coaches and teammates in support of perceived unity and social justice—the core constitutional principle is both clearly established and fundamental to a free society, and especially to an institution of higher education," Cullen wrote.

Adair is hoping that one day his women's team can compete against an all-transgender woman's team and get woke points and possibly risk a few serious injuries to his woke girls.

Virginia Tech prof. apologizes for her meager melanin inheritance

Proving one does not need to have a functioning cerebral cortex in order to teach 'wokeness' at Virginia Tech, or to even have the honorific of "Doctor" [think Dr. Jill Biden], as witnessed by Dr. Crystal Duncan Lane.

Doctor Lane is a woke professor of human development and family science, a make-believe area of study, at Virginia Tech, and included in her class syllabus a rather weird statement in which she told her impressionable and naive students that she, as a cisgender white female, married to a man [presumably also cisgender, but hey, you never know], that she apologizes to students of color for not being a person of color herself.

The primary reason she apologized, which she neglected to tell her students, is because she is a complete idiot and sees her apology as a way of virtue signaling that although she is white, she's a woke whitey and if she could change her skin color, she covertly claims she would.

Immutable characteristics are not things people can control, nor do they define the individual . . . unless you're 'woke,' and thus a racist.

Doctor Idiot encouraged white students to join her in her imaginary fight to end the injustices of people with more melanin than white folks--people such as, Barack Obama, Kamala Hahahohohaharris, Al Sharptongue, Don LeMon, Maxine Waters, most of the NFL, NBA, WNBA and the Congressional Black Caucus.

Lane claims she is innately racist because of her skin color, calling that assertion the “reality” of the history of all white people. No, she's racist because she sees people of color as victims of white suppression and systemic racism. That is simply no longer true in America. It was in the past when slavery existed, and over 600,000 Americans died to end it. We weren't the first nation to end slavery--I believe England was--but we ended it and these same woke morons have nothing to say about the myriad nations where slavery is still ongoing because it's only the USA that is bad, in their pea brains.

One student at the leftist school in Lane's class on disabilities, questioned the teacher's reasoning as to why was she discussing politics in the class rather than teaching about, you know, disabilities. The student is clearly wiser than the teacher.

Another student who wisely remained anonymous to avoid being canceled, said he or she feels pressure to agree to the racism Lane proffers, lest he or she suffer the consequences of a narrow minded ideologue.

Woke folk say they want more tolerance but refuse to tolerate even minor differences of opinion. They are their own oxymorons.

Why We Conservatives are Just as Wrong on Gun Control Issues

Scrape the paint off a liberal and you'll find an undercoating of denial thicker than Michael Moore's bacon, lettuce, tomato, more bacon, ham and cheese sandwich. I'm talking about their denial about guns, and the people who kill people with guns. But they aren't the only ones who make a case that gun violence is the result of the opposing political party. Conservatives can also be guilty of making artificial claims that it's the liberals who are the lunatics who actually do the shooting of the innocents., but not only is this not always the case, it isn't even the issue. Let's look at a document I got from a conservative with all the right intentions regarding the Second Amendment. I am going to quote it directly but I cannot provide a source for the original as it appears as a jpeg in her posted photos:

--In 1863 a Democrat shot and killed Abraham Lincoln, President of the United States.

--In 1964 a  communist turned Democrat killed John F. Kennedy.
--In 1983 a registered Democrat shot and wounded Ronald Reagan.
--In 2007 a registered Democrat named Seung-Hui Cho shot and killed 32 people in Virginia Tech.
--In 2010 a mentally ill registered Democrat named Jared Lee Loughner shot Representative Gabrielle Giffords and killed 6 others.
--In 2011 a registered Democrat named James Holmes went into a movie theater and shot and killed 12 people.
--In 2013 a registered Democrat named Adam Lanza shot and killed 26 people in a school.
