Ted Cruz goes after GQ 'Ragazine' for lying as Dems often do

The nice term for it is 'revisionist history,' but the more accurate term would be 'bald-face lying.' The culprit in this case is GQ Magazine, but when it comes to politics, they have lots of competition.

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) went after the magazine on Thursday after they published a correction to a propaganda piece ironically titled "The Anti-Abortion Movement Was Always Built On Lies." The article labeled the late George Wallace, a flaming segregationist and former governor of Alabama as a Republican.

Wallace was a Democrat.

Mark Hemingway of Real Clear Investigations was the first one to spot the correction and Cruz responded to it saying that GQ's correction revealed "the lie at the heart of a pile of lies."

Cruz wrote: “The ‘correction’ that reveals the lie at the heart of a pile of lies. Yes, racist George Wallace was a Democrat. KKK founder Nathan Bedford Forrest was a Dem. The authors of Jim Crow were Dems. And Dems today seem not at all concerned about the millions of black children aborted.”

The corrected version of the article, which attempted to distance Wallace from his Democratic roots, contains the following (my italics):

The George Wallace, the longtime governor of Alabama, a Democrat who would later join the far-right American Independent Party, four-time presidential candidate, and outspoken segregationist who is often compared to Donald Trump, backed the legalization of abortion in the late 1960s because he claimed black women were “breeding children as a cash crop” and taking advantage of social welfare programs.

The only people who compare Wallace to President Trump are generally "never Trump" leftists. Where Wallace physically stood in front of white schools to keep black children from entering, Trump calls for an end to funding Planned Parenthood, the abortion mill responsible for killing more black children than any other form of violence.

Pretending that Wallace was not a Democrat is a lie.

In an article from The Washington Post they wrote said Wallace ran for president with the American Independent Party in 1968 and won 46 electoral votes. But in 1972, Wallace again ran for president in the Democratic primary, and ran for president again in 1976 before endorsing Democratic candidate Jimmy Carter. He died in 1998.

Wallace was a Democrat. The KKK was formed by Democrats.

In a follow-up tweet, Cruz targeted Planned Parenthood, noting that the organization was founded by avowed racist and eugenicist Margaret Sanger, who clearly described her thoughts  in a 1932 paper titled: My Way To Peace.

In 1939, Sanger, the heroine of the left, discussed in a letter to Clarence Gamble,
(cited here), the nature of her organization's outreach to the African-American community:

“The most successful educational approach to the Negro is through a religious appeal. We don’t want the word to get out that we want to exterminate the Negro population, and the minister is the man who can straighten out that idea if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members.”

In her autobiography she proudly recounts her address to the women of the Ku Klux Klan in Silver Lake, N.J., in 1926.

And the left canonized her.

Sen. Cruz was aware of Sanger's history and tweeted:

There is a plaque at Northeastern Illinois University that refers to Abraham Lincoln as a Democrat. HuffPo tried to defend the school by saying if Lincoln were alive today he'd be a Democrat, but they can't even predict an election, much less what Lincoln's political party would be today. [I also suspect they're wrong.]

Democrats would like to revise history or pretend the factual version of it is misleading.

Wallace was a Democrat and Sanger was an evil eugenicist.

So who are the real racists as a group?

Rod Blagojevich: Abraham Lincoln would've been impeached ..."

You remember former Illinois Democrat Governor Rod Blagojevich who after being impeached is currently serving a 14-year stint in federal lockup for corruption. He tried to sell Barack Obama's Senate seat when Obama ran for president but was caught on tape making the offer.

The seedy Blagojevich and his head of hair wrote in a new op-ed that today's House Democrats would have impeached Abraham Lincoln.

Blagojevich said in a Newsmax column that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), would have President Lincoln impeached as swiftly as she has President Trump.

In the column, he said he admires Abraham Lincoln, his fellow Illinoisan, and also that he served in Congress during former President Bill Clinton's impeachment proceeding.

Blagojevich noted one of House Democrats' two articles of impeachment against Trump is the alleged obstruction of Congress, [which is ridiculous on its face since there exists a separation of powers and the House never took the legal step to legally require testimony from witnesses Trump told not to testify.]

And he went on about the political moves Lincoln made by offering Robert E. Lee the command of the U.S. Army, which he turned down, and Lincoln's drafting the Emancipation Proclamation in 1863, etc.

You might ask yourself, why is "Blago" appealing to the GOP and Trump. The answer might be as simple as the notion that he is looking for a commuted prison sentence from the President.

Trump said in August that he was "seriously" considering commuting Blagojevich's jail sentence -- claiming the ex-governor has been treated "unbelievably unfairly" by ex-FBI Director James Comey's "gang" "and all these sleazebags that did it."

But there is no doubt that what Blagojevich did was criminal and that he did it. Just because a bunch of sleazebags were involved in the case, doesn't make what Blago did excusable. Even a broken clock is correct twice a day.

Democratic Senator wants other people's money for being born black

In an attempt to feed her fast-food habit and those of her constituents who crave other people's money, Sen. Maria Chappelle-Nadal a Missouri Democrat [of course] is calling for reparations for slavery and even criticized her own party for taking black votes for granted, which they do.

The senator criticized Democrats with low levels of melanin in their skin, such as U.S. Sen. Claire McCaskill, saying of them there is "no difference" between them and those damn honkies of the GOP. Both parties failed the black people, she said, but she is only half right--the southern Democrats fought for slavery against Lincoln's Republican Party in something known as the American Civil War.

The Civil Rights Act of 1964 which barred discrimination in public accommodations, passed by a margin of 290-130 in the House.  Democrats supported it by 61 percent 152 yeas and 96 nays; and Republicans supported it with fully 80 percent of their caucus, 138 yeas and 34 nays.

When the Voting Rights Act reached the floor in 1965, the vote mirrored the vote of the Civil Rights Act: in the House, it 78 percent of Democrats backed it (221 yeas and 61 nays) and 82 percent of Republicans backed it (112 yeas to 24 nays).

So if Chappelle-Nadal wants reparations, she should call for the Democratic Party to pay them out.

But what entitles her or anyone else of color to be given money by people who were not personally involved in slavery except by virtue of their melanin level? People are not personally responsible for the deeds of their ancestors.

Speaking on the Senate floor during a tax bill debate, Chappelle-Nadal said her constituents' needs and their emails asking for other people's money motivated her.

"When I'm getting a single mother of three children calling me trying to find a place to live because they don't have a place to live [because she chose to have three children with an irresponsible man], that's what's on my mind today and every single day," she lied.

It only takes three things for anyone in the USA to be successful: 

1. Finish high school. 2. Wait to get married  until after you turn 21 and don't have children unless you're married.3. Have a full-time job.

That's it. If you follow those three things, your chances of being poor are only 2 percent, according to the Brookings Institute.

Asking for other people to pay you money you didn't earn, is immoral, and that includes Sen. Maria Chappelle-Nadal.

Why We Conservatives are Just as Wrong on Gun Control Issues

Scrape the paint off a liberal and you'll find an undercoating of denial thicker than Michael Moore's bacon, lettuce, tomato, more bacon, ham and cheese sandwich. I'm talking about their denial about guns, and the people who kill people with guns. But they aren't the only ones who make a case that gun violence is the result of the opposing political party. Conservatives can also be guilty of making artificial claims that it's the liberals who are the lunatics who actually do the shooting of the innocents., but not only is this not always the case, it isn't even the issue. Let's look at a document I got from a conservative with all the right intentions regarding the Second Amendment. I am going to quote it directly but I cannot provide a source for the original as it appears as a jpeg in her posted photos:

--In 1863 a Democrat shot and killed Abraham Lincoln, President of the United States.
--In 1964 a  communist turned Democrat killed John F. Kennedy.
--In 1983 a registered Democrat shot and wounded Ronald Reagan.
--In 2007 a registered Democrat named Seung-Hui Cho shot and killed 32 people in Virginia Tech.
--In 2010 a mentally ill registered Democrat named Jared Lee Loughner shot Representative Gabrielle Giffords and killed 6 others.
--In 2011 a registered Democrat named James Holmes went into a movie theater and shot and killed 12 people.
--In 2013 a registered Democrat named Adam Lanza shot and killed 26 people in a school.
