CNN's former presidential hopeful convicted of stealing $300K from porn actress

CNN hopeful for the 2016 presidency, Michael Avenatti, has been convicted Friday of stealing almost $300,000 in book-advance payment from his then-client Stephanie Clifford, whose pornography stage name is Stormy Daniels. This is only his second conviction.

Avenatti faces a maximum of 22 years in prison for his conviction on wire fraud and aggravated identity theft charges, but a sentencing date for this latest conviction has not yet been set. No worries, however, Avenatti has nothing but time on his hands.

During this trial, prosecutors showed how the shyster lawyer, 50, is a calculating scumbag who stole two book-advances from Stormy in 2018, the year he appeared on the Comedy News Network more times than Stormy Daniels appeared buckbonkey, bumping uglies on video.

Clifford signed a book deal with St. Martin's Press [where did they get the "St." part?] after she didn't hush about the $130,000 in hush money she was paid, coincidentally just before the 2016 presidential election to keep her hushed about an alleged sexual encounter with Donald Trump, which happened years prior to the campaign.

Prosecutors were able to show that Avenatti forged Clifford's name on a letter to her literary agent [because they call everything literature these days] that directed the agent to wire two payments meant for Stormy to go into a bank account he controlled.

Brilliant!

Daniels was the government’s star witness at the trial and testified that she did not give Brian Stelter's hope for the nation permission to keep the money owed to her through the book contract.

“He stole from me and lied to me,” she said on the witness stand, as her breasts heaved up and down and up and down.

Daniels added that Avenatti had promised her he would “never take a penny from me for the book.”

Well, technically he didn't take a penny from her.

Prosecutors showed jurors documents related to the book deal, as well as a series of text messages between Avenatti and Daniels, which proved how he repeatedly lied to her about the money.

When she didn’t receive the payments on time, Daniels asked Avenatti about the missing cash, according to the text messages.

“I did not get paid today. I am not f–king happy,” she said, in reverse to what she is normally happy about.

“The publisher owes me a payment … This is bulls–t,” she wrote in another.

Instead of admitting that he stole the money, Avenatti told her he would “figure out” what happened – even though he had already received and spent it. Avenatti claimed that Daniels is not credible at the trial.

In their closing argument, prosecutors pointed to a “mountain of evidence” against Avenatti, who they argued betrayed the trust of his client.

Avenatti, who represented himself at trial, proved once again, that people who represent themselves at trial have an idiot for a lawyer. He said he was innocent and in his closing argument said Daniels owed him money because of the amount of work he and his law firm did for her.

Then why didn't he come clean about the money he stole in the first place, or at the very least, bill her that amount?

He also claimed prosecutors’ case against him was full of holes and likened it to a meal that has a “cockroach in the middle of the plate.” See, he had an idiot defending him.

“On Sept. 27, 2019 … You stated that I was ‘f—ing myself pretty nice and hard and that when I go to prison, there will be a long line of people to ass-rape me,’” Avenatti asked Daniels, who did not deny making the comment because there is a level of truth to that statement if prison movies depict reality.

But as noted, this wasn't Avenatti's first rodeo. In 2020 he was convicted in the same federal court of attempting to shakedown Nike, the sportswear giant, for $25,000,000 and was sentenced to 30 months for that case.

At his sentencing, he told the judge he betrayed himself and his friends while sparring with the former president and his supporters.

“I lost my way,” he said. “I betrayed my own values, friends, family and myself.”

"You bring a smile to my face, Jeff"

“I was driven by things that do matter in life. Television and Twitter mean nothing,” he added, causing CNN's host of "Reliable Sources" Brian Stelter, to uncontrollably break down in tears and rocking himself on a corner chair.

"He had so much to offer the country; the world; to me," Stelter said. "And now with Jeff gone, I don't know how I'm going to make it through the night."

BREAKING: Michael Avenatti: guilty of extortion

Porn lawyer and failed CNN candidate for the presidency Michael Avenatti was convicted in federal court on three counts of attempting to extort $25 million from Nike. He will probably need to go shopping for "Soap on a Rope" because he certainly doesn't want to drop it in the prison shower.

“The verdict was returned Friday by a Manhattan federal jury after it deliberated charges of attempted extortion and honest services fraud in what prosecutors say was an attempt by Avenatti to extort up to $25 million from Nike with threats to otherwise harm it,” The Associated Press reported. “The charges carry a combined potential penalty of 42 years in prison.”

Avenatti gained his fame by setting up shop in the hallways of CNN where he was lauded as the next Democratic president. He sent chills up both legs of Brian Stelter and had Chris Matthews inviting him for a cup of coffee.

The crooked lawyer represented porn performer Stormy Daniels [aka Stephanie Clifford] in a lawsuit against President Trump. In October 2016, Trump's personal lawyer and card-carrying idiot, Michael Cohen, paid Daniels $130,000 to have her deny she had an affair with Trump in 2006. Although Trump spokespeople denied the affair, nobody who knows Trump that voted for him gives a damn of the veracity of the claim.

Subsequently, Daniels claimed that Avenatti owes her $300,000 that he denies owing. Federal prosecutors in New York City said Avenatti used a doctored document to divert that money Daniels was supposed to receive as an advance on a book deal. Then the scumbag lawyer was alleged to use the money for his personal and business expenses. He only paid back half of what he owed her, prosecutors say.

Regarding the current extortion charge, Manhattan U.S. Attorney Geoffrey S. Berman said: “As alleged, Avenatti used illegal and extortionate threats for the purpose of obtaining millions of dollars in payments from a public company. Calling this anticipated payout a retainer or a settlement doesn’t change what it was – a shakedown. When lawyers use their law licenses as weapons, as a guise to extort payments for themselves, they are no longer acting as attorneys. They are acting as criminals, and they will held responsible for their conduct.”

This is probably the tip of the iceberg, or in Avenatti's case, the floater in the kid's pool. There will likely be a lot more to follow.

Avenatti alleged to have kept money from settlements for himself

He may not be the best lawyer in the world--heck, he may be the worst--now Michael Avenatti is being accused of covertly keeping settlement money from one of his clients, spending the money on himself, then telling the client he hasn't received the funds as yet.

The client, Gregory Barela, said that Avenatti “was operating his law firm in a Ponzi scheme like manner.” But let's face it, if you are stupid enough to hire the shyster Avenatti, you're probably going to get sexed in a bad way.

The Daily Beast reported that Barela filed a statement of claims with Judicial Arbitration and Mediation Services (JAMS), a private arbitration organization, arguing that after Avenatti pocketed the money from the settlement, he turned around and offered to lend some of the funds back to Barela with 10% interest.

Seriously?

The claim, which was shown to the media outlet by Barela’s attorney, claims “Avenatti was operating his law firm in a Ponzi scheme like manner, taking settlement proceeds received for clients to pay off debts, pay the other individual Defendants’ salaries and bonuses, and fund his lavish lifestyle, while telling clients that the settlement proceeds had not been received or would be received at a later date.”
Kathy "The Beheader" Griffin and Mickey

The Daily Beast reports that according to the statement from Barela’s attorney, Avenatti and a third party reached a settlement for Barela, but in January 2018 the third party deposited money into an account from which Avenatti would transfer the funds to Barela, and Avenatti later informed Barela the money had never been deposited, prompting months of worry for Barela and repeated queries of Avenatti as to the whereabouts of the money. Eventually, according to Barela, Avenatti made the offer of a loan, but Barela had now decided to hire attorneys who found from the third party that they had already paid Lyin' Loser Avenatti.

Steven Bledsoe, Barela's attorney, told The Daily Beast, “Mr. Barela hired our firm to investigate what happened to the settlement payment that he was supposed to have received early last year. As part of our investigation, we contacted the lawyer for the settling party and he gave us a copy of the unaltered settlement agreement and the wire-transfer confirmation showing that his client made the settlement payment to the bank account specified by Mr. Avenatti five days before it was due.”

Avenatti denied any wrongdoing as is his habit, telling The Daily Beast, “These allegations are completely fabricated, bogus and fraudulent. [Like all of the other allegations made by everyone else against the toad]. We have no idea where this is coming from or why someone would make up this ridiculous false story and deceive his attorneys. Until recently when we demanded to be relieved as counsel, we previously represented Mr. Barela in multiple matters and he has received 100 percent of what he is entitled to. We have never had any contact with Talitha Barela.” Talitha Barela is Gregory Barela’s wife and co-plaintiff.”

Hopefully we will soon learn the truth, and the truth may not set Avenatti free.
Stormy and Mickey
Avenatti is the so-called lawyer representing pornography performer Stormy Daniels [whose real name is Stephanie Clifford] against President Trump. It isn't known whether he had ever planned to represent Saddam Hussein and Osama bin Laden, but if he did, that would tell you all you need to know about this guy.

POTUS seeks over $300K from woman he calls 'Horse Face'

President Trump is seeking over $300,000 in attorney fees after a federal judge, S. James Otero, in Los Angeles, threw out the defamation lawsuit made by pornography performer Stormy Daniels [aka: Stephanie Clifford; aka: Horse Face]. The reason for the suit dismissal is based on free-speech grounds.

Horse Face [perhaps she's Native American] sued President Trump in April over a tweet in which he denied her claims of being threatened by a mystery man in a Las Vegas parking lot in 2011.

He called it a "total con job," [as opposed to a partial con job].

"A sketch years later about a nonexistent man. A total con job, playing the Fake News Media for Fools (but they know it)!" the President of the United States of America tweeted on Twitter, using a side-by-side image comparing the artist's sketch with a photo of Daniels' ex-husband.

Daniels' shyster lawyer, Michael Avenatti, had said the tweet damaged his client's credibility by portraying her as a liar [as opposed to someone who performs  sundry sex acts on camera so other men can get their jollies off].

"The court agrees with Mr. Trump's argument because the tweet in question constitutes 'rhetorical hyperbole' normally associated with politics and public discourse in the U.S."

Trump is requesting $341,559.50 in attorney's fees from "HF," according to a court filing, although he doesn't refer to her with that moniker.

The fifty cents has to be President Trump's way of flipping her off.

Trump wins, Stormy loses

Los Angeles -- A federal judge on Monday threw out the case of porn-film performer Stormy Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford against President Trump on free-speech grounds [aka: the First Amendment].

"The court agrees with Mr. Trump's argument because the tweet in question constitutes 'rhetorical hyperbole' normally associated with politics and public discourse in the U.S.," U.S. District Judge S. James Otero said in a ruling Monday, according to Bloomberg News. "The First Amendment protects this type of rhetorical statement."

The "Stormster" [as people who "know" her say] sued the president in April over a tweet in which he denied her claims of being threatened by a man [who looks exactly like her ex-husband, by the way] in a Las Vegas parking lot in 2011.

She said the man was threatening her for going public about an alleged sexual encounter with Trump in 2006. The president denied the affair took place and cast doubt on her story of being threatened [by an alleged guy who looks exactly like her ex-husband, by the way].

Not known for being Twitter-shy, President Trump tweeted: "A sketch years later about a nonexistent man. A total con job, playing the Fake News Media for Fools (but they know it)!" He also tweeted a side-by-side image of the sketch with a photo of her ex-husband.

"The ruling also states that the President is entitled to an award of his attorneys' fees against Stormy Daniels," Trump's attorney Charles Harder said in a statement to Fox News. "No amount of spin or commentary by Stormy Daniels or her lawyer, Mr. [Michael] Avenatti, can truthfully characterize today's ruling in any way other than total victory for President Trump and total defeat for Stormy Daniels. [You know Trump told Harder to put that part in the statement.]  The amount of the award for President Trump's attorneys' fees will be determined at a later date."

Avenatti, a rather horrible lawyer, previously said the president's tweet damaged Daniels' credibility by portraying her as a liar. He responded to the ruling via Twitter: "Judge's limited ruling: Daniels' other claims against Trump and Cohen proceed unaffected. Trump's contrary claims are as deceptive as his claims about the inauguration attendance. We will appeal the dismissal of the defamation cause of action and are confident in a reversal."

Avenatti is a publicity whore who is using this case to remain relevant as he plans to throw his hat in the ring for the 2020 presidential race. Imagine the fun it would be in debating Trump--but it'll never happen.

Daniels' lawsuit over a hush-money deal is pending and Avenatti said he wants and needs to keep the case alive, so that his presidential ambitions remain alive as well.

Just like she is used as a sex object in her films, Daniels is  Avenatti's is using her to further his ambitions for the coming presidential election.

Porn star's shyster lawyer takes a powder from CNN

Anti-Trump porn actress was given the key to the city of West Hollywood, Stormy Daniels, had consensual sex, one time, with Donald Trump in 2006 while he was married and his wife was pregnant with their son Barron.

That's not a great example of morality, and I don't support his behavior, but Trump wasn't elected to be our moral champion; he was elected to run the country and undo the leftist policies of his predecessor. And he is doing it, which is infuriating the left.

Donald Trump paid $130,000 through his attorney, Michael Cohen, and had her agree to a nondisclosure agreement.

Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, hired Michael Avenatti, a questionable lawyer, to represent her against Trump in a case involving a nondisclosure agreement signed by the president's personal attorney, Michael Cohen, before the 2016 election. Clifford sued Trump and Cohen to argue that the agreement is invalid.

Since going public, Avenatti has made 174 TV appearances, with 74 of those on CNN. But for some reason, he has gone MIA amid newfound scrutiny of his sordid past.

A federal bankruptcy court judge in Southern California order his law firm, in which he is the manager, to pay $10,000,000 to an attorney who claimed Avenatti's firm screwed him on a first installment of a $4,850,000 settlement. People labeled Avenatti as a "tax cheat" on social media.

This was just the latest setback for the shyster lawyer. He may need to write about his experience with Stormy to help make ends meet. Perhaps he can call it: "How I Made it Big With Stormy."

Avenatti didn't appear on CNN Tuesday or Wednesday, marking a drastic change in venue for the Charlatan News Network.

In order to sound like a sympathetic character, Avenatti had to concoct a story about his absence. "I am scheduled to be on a number of networks, including CNN. I have been dealing with some medical issues for a close family member that I am caring for," he told Fox News when asked about his absence from CNN.

In an effort to cover his tracks, after he spoke to Fox News, the intrepid lawyer went to Twitter: "Now this is FUNNY," he began in Trump-like capitalization fashion. "Just got an inquiry from @foxnews wanting to know why I haven't been on TV that much lately. They are clearly looking to claim that something must be wrong with me or the networks must not want me. This, after criticizing me for being on TV too much. #priceless."

CNN refused to respond when asked about his absence from their failing network.

On Wednesday, Avenatti locked his Twitter account, which has more followers than CNN, which isn't saying too much. He claimed he wants control over who sees his tweets--but of course, that makes no sense since he had no control over who saw him on CNN.

I have no doubt that Avenatti is a dishonest as the scorpion was to the frog.

All he really seems to want is fame and the fortunes of those he's screwed over.

One CNN insider told Fox News that CNN "might as well lay off its whole reporting staff and save millions of dollars" since Avenatti's "takeover" of the network. Last week, Avenatti was seen partying at the fabulous weekend home of Don Lemon.

CNN's bald-headed stooge, Brian Stelter said of Avenatti on "Reliable Sources," [whose title is the definition of an oxymoron] "I do think there is a legitimate question about whether Avenatti has been overexposed by being on television almost every day."

The only person in this saga who has been overexposed is Stormy Daniels, but that's how she makes her living.

On an ironic note, CNN's political analyst Ryan Lizza, tweeted his disdain for Avenatti's recent Twitter actions, which include his being blocked along with other reporters, from viewing his tweets.

"Lol. Michael Avenatti is such a champion of the press, truth, and the First Amendment that he blocks reporters covering him after mildly critical tweets and then pretends he didn't do it," Lizza wrote after Avenatti lied about not purposely blocking him.

"It's not credible that it was inadvertent--you blocked me & other reporters [sic] mins after critical tweets," Lizza shot back.

Media editor Jon Levine of TheWrap wrote: "I would urge everyone to read in which Michael Avenatti says he 'inadvertently' blocked a reporter. This could be heading into Joy Reid territory."

The sleazy lawyer recently threatened to take legal action against reporters who reported unfavorable news about him, including The Daily Caller, The Hollywood Reporter and Law and Crime. He also spoke down to a Los Angeles Times reporter who wrote that Avenatti was hit with a $10 millin judgment in bankruptcy court.

"Over blown. Sensational reporting at its finest. Check the facts next time please and report accurately," Avenatti wrote, without providing a single fact to dispute the reporter.

Hopefully this will be the last we'll hear of Avenatti and his porn queen. Or maybe he too will receive a key to West Hollywood like his client.

POTUS sued for defamation of Stormy's candor, not her sexual prowess

President Donald Trump is undoubtedly not the best role model for America's youth, but he's doing a lot of good things as president. As you probably know, Trump has slept around over the years, but there is no indication that he has done so as president nor on the campaign trail as he sought the presidency and snatched it away from 'Crooked' Hillary Clinton.

One of the women the president had a sexual encounter with was Stephanie Clifford (aka Stormy Daniels).

Daniels is a porn star and appeared in ground-breaking films such as: "Screw You," "Dirty Deeds,""Nymphos," "Blow," "Snatched," "Young and Anal," "Breast Friends," and who can forget, "Happy Endings," to name just a few.

Stormy claims she had a sexual encounter with Trump in 2006. I don't doubt her candor because guys like billionaire Donald Trump often have sex with people they may have just met.

Now Stormy Daniels is filing a defamation suit against Trump because of a tweet he posted in which he said the forensic sketch of a guy who allegedly threatened her in 2011 was a "total con job."

In other words, Stormy Daniels is more upset that Trump called her a liar than she would be if he called her an unattractive, no-talent strumpet with the libido of a turtle and sex appeal of a Bonobo Ape.

The case will probably not be heard in court, unless, of course, Robert Mueller gets assigned to it.
