Anti-Trump porn actress was given the key to the city of West Hollywood, Stormy Daniels, had consensual sex, one time, with Donald Trump in 2006 while he was married and his wife was pregnant with their son Barron.
That's not a great example of morality, and I don't support his behavior, but Trump wasn't elected to be our moral champion; he was elected to run the country and undo the leftist policies of his predecessor. And he is doing it, which is infuriating the left.
Donald Trump paid $130,000 through his attorney, Michael Cohen, and had her agree to a nondisclosure agreement.
Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, hired Michael Avenatti, a questionable lawyer, to represent her against Trump in a case involving a nondisclosure agreement signed by the president's personal attorney, Michael Cohen, before the 2016 election. Clifford sued Trump and Cohen to argue that the agreement is invalid.
Since going public, Avenatti has made 174 TV appearances, with 74 of those on CNN. But for some reason, he has gone MIA amid newfound scrutiny of his sordid past.
A federal bankruptcy court judge in Southern California order his law firm, in which he is the manager, to pay $10,000,000 to an attorney who claimed Avenatti's firm screwed him on a first installment of a $4,850,000 settlement. People labeled Avenatti as a "tax cheat" on social media.
This was just the latest setback for the shyster lawyer. He may need to write about his experience with Stormy to help make ends meet. Perhaps he can call it: "How I Made it Big With Stormy."
Avenatti didn't appear on CNN Tuesday or Wednesday, marking a drastic change in venue for the Charlatan News Network.
In order to sound like a sympathetic character, Avenatti had to concoct a story about his absence. "I am scheduled to be on a number of networks, including CNN. I have been dealing with some medical issues for a close family member that I am caring for," he told Fox News when asked about his absence from CNN.
In an effort to cover his tracks, after he spoke to Fox News, the intrepid lawyer went to Twitter: "Now this is FUNNY," he began in Trump-like capitalization fashion. "Just got an inquiry from @foxnews wanting to know why I haven't been on TV that much lately. They are clearly looking to claim that something must be wrong with me or the networks must not want me. This, after criticizing me for being on TV too much. #priceless."
CNN refused to respond when asked about his absence from their failing network.
On Wednesday, Avenatti locked his Twitter account, which has more followers than CNN, which isn't saying too much. He claimed he wants control over who sees his tweets--but of course, that makes no sense since he had no control over who saw him on CNN.
I have no doubt that Avenatti is a dishonest as the scorpion was to the frog.
All he really seems to want is fame and the fortunes of those he's screwed over.
One CNN insider told Fox News that CNN "might as well lay off its whole reporting staff and save millions of dollars" since Avenatti's "takeover" of the network. Last week, Avenatti was seen partying at the fabulous weekend home of Don Lemon.
CNN's bald-headed stooge, Brian Stelter said of Avenatti on "Reliable Sources," [whose title is the definition of an oxymoron] "I do think there is a legitimate question about whether Avenatti has been overexposed by being on television almost every day."
The only person in this saga who has been overexposed is Stormy Daniels, but that's how she makes her living.
On an ironic note, CNN's political analyst Ryan Lizza, tweeted his disdain for Avenatti's recent Twitter actions, which include his being blocked along with other reporters, from viewing his tweets.
"Lol. Michael Avenatti is such a champion of the press, truth, and the First Amendment that he blocks reporters covering him after mildly critical tweets and then pretends he didn't do it," Lizza wrote after Avenatti lied about not purposely blocking him.
"It's not credible that it was inadvertent--you blocked me & other reporters [sic] mins after critical tweets," Lizza shot back.
Media editor Jon Levine of TheWrap wrote: "I would urge everyone to read in which Michael Avenatti says he 'inadvertently' blocked a reporter. This could be heading into Joy Reid territory."
The sleazy lawyer recently threatened to take legal action against reporters who reported unfavorable news about him, including The Daily Caller, The Hollywood Reporter and Law and Crime. He also spoke down to a Los Angeles Times reporter who wrote that Avenatti was hit with a $10 millin judgment in bankruptcy court.
"Over blown. Sensational reporting at its finest. Check the facts next time please and report accurately," Avenatti wrote, without providing a single fact to dispute the reporter.
Hopefully this will be the last we'll hear of Avenatti and his porn queen. Or maybe he too will receive a key to West Hollywood like his client.
