GOP Gov. Hogan didn't read FL Parental Rights Bill but attacks DeSantis about it

Politicians are increasingly showing us how ignorant they are about issues they discuss as "experts." This is true on both the left and the right and in this case, Gov. Larry Hogan (R-MD) is in the spotlight of stupidity.

Hogan [aka "Baldheaded Stooge"] attacked Florida's Parental Rights in Education bill, calling it "absurd." He said that it would never have passed in Maryland--evidently, he believes teachers should have the role of teaching 3rd graders and younger children about sexual issues.

"I didn't really actually see the details of the legislation, [meaning: the idiot didn't actually read the bill] but the whole thing seems like a crazy fight," Hogan said. "And now he wants to criticize Disney for expressing how they feel about that bill. I mean, they have every right to. We have a thing called freedom of speech. They can come out and say what they think."

Keep talking Larry. Moe and Curly can't save you and your governor days are hopefully numbered, you dolt.

Hogan displayed his abject ignorance regarding the contents of the bill during an appearance on the Communist News Network on Sunday. Just moments afterward, he admitted he wasn't familiar with the details of the legislation. BECAUSE HE DIDN'T READ THE BILL!

People voted for this clown. But then again, people also voted for PINO Joe Biden.

The bill, which was signed into law by Gov. DeSantis last month, bans schools prohibits schools from instructing children about gender identity or sexual orientation between kindergarten and third grade. Nowhere in the bill is the word "gay" used, although the Left has been calling it the "Don't Say Gay" bill because when you can use a straw man argument to lie, the Left jumps right on it.

In no way whatsoever does the bill ban the word "gay."

CNN hostess Dana Bash asked Hogan to respond to DeSantis' conflict with Disney regarding the bill after the company released a statement last week condemning the bill, and DeSantis has threatened to retaliate.

"I think the bill was kind of absurd and not something that would've happened in our state," Hogan said, not having read the bill and sounding like the girls of The View.

DeSantis' office did not immediately respond to a request for comment on Hogan's ignorant criticism of something he did not read but was quick to attack. Why bother?

"Many of the tourists in Florida have visited us from states with mandates and restrictions, to enjoy the freedoms and sense of normalcy that Florida has become renowned for, under Gov, DeSantis‘ leadership," DeSantis' press secretary Christina Pushaw wrote last week. "Business is thriving here as well, because the governor has kept our state open, and our tax burden remains the lowest in the country."

"These are things that everyone can appreciate, regardless of their gender or sexual orientation," she added. "Therefore, we are not concerned about boycotts or other economic harm to Florida as a result of any legislation. But even if we were: no amount of money would convince Governor DeSantis to change his position. He will always stand for parental rights and protecting children."

Larry Hogan really is a Stooge and needs to be challenged in the primary by an actual conservative Republican.

Biden less popular than least popular governor, Harris less popular than scabies

Nine of ten most popular governors in the USA are Republicans and Connecticut Gov. Ned Lamont, a Democrat is the only one on the left to make the top ten, according to a recent Morning Consult poll. Not surprisingly, President Biden's approval rating is lower than the nation's least popular governor, but Kamala Harris' approval ratings are at a historical low--lower than ever recorded in American history.

The most popular governor in America is Phil Scott (R-VT) who holds a 71% approval rating.

Here is the list of governors in order of popularity from one to ten includes:
Scott, Charlie Baker of Massachusetts, Larry Hogan of Maryland, Chris Sununu of New Hampshire, Mark Gordon of Wyoming, Jim Justice of West Virginia, Lamont, Kay Ivey of Alabama, Mike DeWine of Ohio, and Spencer Cox of Utah.
At the bottom of the list, that is, the least popular governors were:

Rounding out the bottom as the least popular governors list were
Democrat Kate Brown in Oregon, Republican Doug Ducey in Arizona, and Democrat David Ige of Hawaii.
 The Execrable Gov. Brown

Brown’s last place approval rating of 43%, a totally suck-worthy position, was still seven points higher than Biden’s approval rating in a recent Quinnipiac poll and is head and shoulders above Harris' abysmal number of 28%.

Those questioned in the poll said they'd want to see the GOP win control of the House in the midterms were held today, by a margin of 46% TP 38% with 16% oblivious as to who the president is and what is a political party.

In terms of the Senate, the GOP wins again 46% to 40% wanting Republicans to win a majority, with 15% of respondents too busy watching things move on their phones and did not want to offer an opinion in case the government was listening.

Scabies

With the midterms less than a year away, it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas for Republicans and a dim future for the Party of the KKK.

But for President Biden, it's looking like ice cream and "gahominahin zerbag hutmah."

The recent results of the poll, which was conducted Nov. 11-Nov.15, comes just days after an ABC News/Washington Post survey depicted a 10-point Republican advantage over socialism.

MD Gov. to investigate Baltimore City AG Marilyn Mosby's office

Now that there has been a surge in violent crime, including high profile homicides, Maryland Governor Larry Hogan (R)  announced that investigations into Baltimore City Attorney General Marilyn Mosby's office will take place.

Hogan made a series of announcements  regarding his office's efforts to bring crime under control in Baltimore and promised an investigation into the controversial city's AG, who made national headlines early this year when she announced that her office would no longer prosecute "low-level" crimes like drug possession and prostitution. She claimed that "the data suggest there is no public safety value in prosecuting low-level offenses."

Of course, she probably never actually looked at any "data" because reality doesn't support her words.

The city has seen serious deterioration in the quality of life since Mosby pontificated her point. This sparked a over 40 businesses to threaten to refuse to pay taxes until some improvement in crime prevention is realized.

Even beyond quality of life issues, there has been a serious spike in violent crime in the city and for seven straight years, homicides have surpassed 300. The city almost laughingly created what they term "no shoot zones."

But for some reason, shooters refused to obey the law. It's like gun control--only law abiding citizens go along with law. Who'd a thunk?

Gov. Hogan spoke at a press conference where he said,  "People are being shot nearly every single day in Baltimore City, and we all have an obligation to do something about it right now. With all of the actions we have announced today, I want those families and all the victims of this violence to know that we will not stop pursuing those criminals who are terrorizing our community, and we will continue to use every tool at our disposal to make these neighborhoods safer and to get these violent shooters off the streets."

Hogan took a potshot at Mosby's office. He sent a letter to her demanded an accounting of her office's use of state crime prevention funds, including specifically an accounting of "The number of cases your office has chosen not to prosecute, including a breakdown of the reasons for non-prosecution." He also demanded to know, "The number of cases plead down to lesser charges, including plea agreements reached that are less than mandatory minimum sentencing guidelines."

The Governor threatened that "all funding for your office [will be placed] under evaluation pending the fulfillment of this request and review of the data produced."

It almost always takes a Republican to do the work of a grownup.

Hogan also announced that his office was fast-tracking and expanding its neighborhood safety grants program, which would provide "hardware upgrades, lighting, cameras, and increased security services for community organizations and business districts," including "places of worship and vulnerable communities." And he will reintroduce crime legislation during a December special session of the Maryland legislature.

In response to Hogan's actions, Mosby lashed out at him, calling his remarks a political stunt and defending her office's prosecution of violent crime. "Quite candidly, he's more concerned with pointing the finger at everyone else, as opposed to actually leading and delivering for a city that is the heartbeat of this state," Mosby claimed.

But the crime statistics clearly validate Gov. Hogan's concerns and Mosby's lack of concern for crime in the city whose motto is: "The Greatest City in America."

Say what?

Rep. John Delaney throws his hairpiece into the ring for 2020

Before you know it, 2020 will be here and the next presidential election will take place. The third richest congressman ($91.68 million), John Delaney (D-Md.) has already thrown his hat into the ring to run against Donald Trump.

"I'm running for president," he tweeted Friday.

In a Washington Post opinion piece he cited the Democratic Party's "recent electoral failures" calling for a "different approach--one that's focused on the facts and the future."

He considered running against Maryland's popular Republican Governor Larry Hogan, but he probably figured he's lose so he might as well lose in 2020 to Trump.

The 54-year-old Delaney has a very typical Democratic voting record.

He voted against Kate's Law, sparked by Kathryn Steinle, a 32-year-old who was shot  and killed by an illegal immigrant, Juan Francisco Lopez-Sanchez on July 1, 2015.

The bill specifies that any undocumented immigrant who was deported from the U.S. and attempts to re-enter shall be subject to a fine and not more than 2 years imprisonment. If the illegal immigrant has been deported on multiple occasions and attempts to re-enter they will be subject to a fine and not more than 19 years imprisonment. Furthermore, there are to be increases in the criminal penalty for previously deported illegal immigrants to re-enter the U.S. and have a criminal history.

He voted against the Thin Blue Line Act, which authorizes the death penalty in the case of murder or attempted murder of a police officer, correctional officer, firefighter, or other first responder if the crime occurred while the person was engaged in official duties; because of those official duties; or because of such individual's status as a public official or employee.

He voted against Make America Secure Appropriations Act. The bill appropriates $789 billion for the Department of Defense for fiscal year ending on September 30, 2018.

He voted against No Sanctuary for Criminals Act

This bill prohibits federal funds for a minimum of one year to any state not in compliance with the provisions of the Act, and authorizes the Secretary of Homeland Security to withhold the transfer of any undocumented immigrant in the custody of the DHS to any state or political subdivision found not to be in compliance. It also authorizes law enforcement officials to detain an individual in violation of any criminal or motor vehicle law in order for the Secretary to issue a detainer regarding the individual if there is probable cause to believe that the individual is an undocumented immigrant.

He voted against the Honest and Open New EPA Science Treatment Act of 2017.

Prohibits the EPA Administrator from proposing or disseminating any covered action unless all scientific and technical information used is: a) the best available science; b) specifically identified; and c) publicly available online and accessible for independent analysis and substantial reproduction of the research results. Yes, it's called replication.

It also requires any personally identifiable information, trade secrets, and communication or financial information obtained from an individual and classified as privileged or confidential to be redacted prior to public availability. No more anonymous input or input that cannot be verified.

So Delaney is much an obstructionist as the rest of the lefties doing all they can to stop the business of Trump's administration. There are no surprises with Delaney.

He's anti-gun, anti-border security and totally anti-Trump.

Breaking: the riot in Baltimore as it now stands

It's beginning to look like the future is going to be bright and lucrative for the race hustlers like Al Sharptongue and Jessie Jackson. They have Baltimore, MD to rev up the racial tension, and this is where they can rake in the big bucks.

The kids sent out a meme to "purge" after school, and purge they did. In fact, it's still going on as I am blogging this.

This follows the funeral of Freddie Gray, a 25 year old black man who 8 days ago, mysteriously died of a broken spine after being arrested, put into a police transport vehicle, and exiting the vehicle with a broken spine.

Even Elijah Cummings ( MD-D) attended the funeral, sounding more like an angry Rev. Jeremiah Wright than a US Senator. He's been in office since 1996 and is the poster guy for term limits.

Baltimore's mayor, Stephanie Rawlings-Blake, an idiot liberal, said that the protesters should have space to express their anger.

The big problem is that the investigation into the death of Mr. Gray is ongoing and this is angering the public more. One thing known is that he was put in that van unbuckled and given a rough ride. Heads should probably roll, but rioting and destroying property is uncalled for and must be stopped.

The police are vastly outnumbered and at times overwhelmed by the crowd of young people throwing bricks, bottles and whatever they can get their hands on to toss. At this time, there are 7 injured cops, one of whom is "unresponsive," according to the police. A number of arrests have been made, but more are sure to come as night approaches.

State police have been called in but the governor, Larry Hogan (R) refuses to declare a state of emergency and said that it is too soon to bring in the National Guard. He is obviously an idiot and should cross over to the Democratic party to increase their average IQ as well as the average IQ on the right side of the aisle by his leaving.

The Gray family attorney is calling for law and order, but there are rioters and looters who don't care about Freddie Gray and see this as an opportunity to burn stuff and steal whatever they can get from the small businesses they are looting. This is anarchy at its worst.

Let's hope and pray that law enforcement enforces the law and that tonight things will calm down.

Let's also hope and pray that justice is done in the case of Mr. Gray's death. The pubic needs and deserves answers.

FBI evidently confronted Eric "Boom Boom" Swalwell over the weekend and hoo boy

It has been a rough stretch for former Rep. Eric "Boom Boom" Swalwell . You know, the guy who's known for the fart heard round...
