Commie News Network slammed for comments about Gov. Josh Shapiro's 'Jewish faith' regarding electability

Critics harshly criticized CNN after anchor John King stated that there were "risks" associated with putting Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro forward as the Democratic vice presidential nominee because "he's Jewish."

“He’s certainly under consideration,” King, not formerly known to be an anti-Semite, said on CNN Sunday night. Of course, he was speaking about the possible running mate for Kamala Harris if she runs to be the first black, cackling, word salad tossing, female President of the United States.

“He’s a first-term governor, he’s Jewish, there could be some risks in putting him on the ticket, but certainly some of our voters here in Pennsylvania said, ‘Hey, we like Gov. Shapiro, give him a look,'” he added, covering up his racist faux pas.

King had announced plans to convert to Judaism in 2008 and was briefly married to Commie News Network host, Dana Bash, who is Jewish. Did he convert? I don't know, but what I do know is how stupid a remark like that is for someone on tv who is watched by hundreds of people.

The popular X account StopAntisemitism underscored the hateful comment by pointing out how different the response would be if another ethnic minority were singled out: “Replace ‘Jewish’ with ‘Muslim’ or ‘Black…'”

"Mohammed is a first-term governor, he's Muslim, there could be some risks putting him on the ticket," feels a bit wrong, eh?

“CNN POV: Being almost any minority group in politics is historic and a milestone. Being Jewish in politics is ‘risky and controversial,'” wrote Jaboc Helberg, a senior adviser at Palantir.

Great point.

“It says a lot about the state of American politics, and perhaps especially in progressive circles, that one of the ‘cons’ of #KamalaHarris selecting Gov. Josh Shapiro as her VP, is that he is Jewish and the pushback this might receive,” added International Legal Forum CEO Arsen Ostrovsky.

Oh, and Harris' husband, Doug Emhoff is also, you know, a Jew.

One thing we do know for certain is that whoever Kamala Hahaharris chooses as a running mate, is going to suck.

GOP Gov. Hogan didn't read FL Parental Rights Bill but attacks DeSantis about it

Politicians are increasingly showing us how ignorant they are about issues they discuss as "experts." This is true on both the left and the right and in this case, Gov. Larry Hogan (R-MD) is in the spotlight of stupidity.

Hogan [aka "Baldheaded Stooge"] attacked Florida's Parental Rights in Education bill, calling it "absurd." He said that it would never have passed in Maryland--evidently, he believes teachers should have the role of teaching 3rd graders and younger children about sexual issues.

"I didn't really actually see the details of the legislation, [meaning: the idiot didn't actually read the bill] but the whole thing seems like a crazy fight," Hogan said. "And now he wants to criticize Disney for expressing how they feel about that bill. I mean, they have every right to. We have a thing called freedom of speech. They can come out and say what they think."

Keep talking Larry. Moe and Curly can't save you and your governor days are hopefully numbered, you dolt.

Hogan displayed his abject ignorance regarding the contents of the bill during an appearance on the Communist News Network on Sunday. Just moments afterward, he admitted he wasn't familiar with the details of the legislation. BECAUSE HE DIDN'T READ THE BILL!

People voted for this clown. But then again, people also voted for PINO Joe Biden.

The bill, which was signed into law by Gov. DeSantis last month, bans schools prohibits schools from instructing children about gender identity or sexual orientation between kindergarten and third grade. Nowhere in the bill is the word "gay" used, although the Left has been calling it the "Don't Say Gay" bill because when you can use a straw man argument to lie, the Left jumps right on it.

In no way whatsoever does the bill ban the word "gay."

CNN hostess Dana Bash asked Hogan to respond to DeSantis' conflict with Disney regarding the bill after the company released a statement last week condemning the bill, and DeSantis has threatened to retaliate.

"I think the bill was kind of absurd and not something that would've happened in our state," Hogan said, not having read the bill and sounding like the girls of The View.

DeSantis' office did not immediately respond to a request for comment on Hogan's ignorant criticism of something he did not read but was quick to attack. Why bother?

"Many of the tourists in Florida have visited us from states with mandates and restrictions, to enjoy the freedoms and sense of normalcy that Florida has become renowned for, under Gov, DeSantis‘ leadership," DeSantis' press secretary Christina Pushaw wrote last week. "Business is thriving here as well, because the governor has kept our state open, and our tax burden remains the lowest in the country."

"These are things that everyone can appreciate, regardless of their gender or sexual orientation," she added. "Therefore, we are not concerned about boycotts or other economic harm to Florida as a result of any legislation. But even if we were: no amount of money would convince Governor DeSantis to change his position. He will always stand for parental rights and protecting children."

Larry Hogan really is a Stooge and needs to be challenged in the primary by an actual conservative Republican.

Ilhan Omar changes her tune: calls Trump's response to pandemic "incredible"

The seas have parted, the sun is out, birds are singing and Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) said that President Trump's response to the Wuhan virus pandemic was "incredible and the right response in this critical time."

The question is: what does she have up her hijab?

It was just yesterday I posted how she attacked Ivanka Trump for a positive tweet the President's daughter posted about family time during this crisis. Omar caught a lot of flak for her mean-spirited sentiment and it's possible she actually read the responses of folks on both sides of the aisle. People aren't just sick from the Wuhan virus, they're sick of the politics.

Omar quoted her BFF Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-MA) who said that "unprecedented times require unprecedented leadership," and she added, "we are seeing that in our country right now."

Well, holy sick, Batman, that is unprecedented of Omar to sing the praises of the Trump administration.

Omar then concluded: "Finally, we should never let politics get in the way of good policy. This is a great start and hope others will be part of a united front to push for good policies that will help us work through the economic anxiety the country is feeling right now."

The Somalia-born, anti-Semitic, adulteress who allegedly also married her own brother, said those words in response to The Intercept's Lee Fang who tweeted:
"Trump suspending mortgage foreclosures, demanding cash payments to Americans, now invoking the Defense Production Act to force private firms to produce needed supplies is incredible. Kind of a shell shock for anyone who reported on any economic policies in the Obama years."
Other Democrats and leftist pundits also praised President Trump over how his administration is handling the crisis. NY Gov. Andrew Cuomo, whose state so far has been hardest hit told reporters on Tuesday, "His team is on it. They've been responsive," adding, "I want to say thank you."

Even CNN's Dana Bash said that Trump's new tone on the Wuhan coronavirus made him the "kind of leader that people need." The people on the panel to whom she spoke looked like they had just swallowed fresh lemons.

It's beginning to look as if the left is afraid of attacking Trump at this time because the public, in general, doesn't want to hear it. Imagine if you will, Rosie O'Donnell praising the job that Trump is doing. That's when you know we're in trouble as a planet.

On Wednesday, Trump invoked rarely used emergency powers to marshal critical medical supplies against the Wuhan coronavirus pandemic. He used his authority under the Defense Production Act to give the government more power to steer production by private companies and attempt to overcome shortages in masks, ventilators and other supplies.

That's good old capitalism at work folks.

The president also signed an aid package — which the Senate approved in record time earlier Wednesday — this temporary measure guarantees sick leave to workers who fall ill.

The Canada-U.S. border, the world's longest, was effectively closed eh, but essential travel and commerce will continue. Relief checks will be distributed to the those who need the relief and others who don't but will claim they do.

Trump plans to expand the nation's diagnostic testing capacity and deploy a Navy hospital ship to New York City, which is rapidly becoming an epicenter of the pandemic and cases have doubled overnight. Another such ship will be deployed to the West Coast.

The Housing and Urban Development Department will suspend foreclosures and evictions through April to help the growing number of Americans who face losing jobs and missing rent and mortgage payments.

Currently, the stock market has taken a steep nosedive, so now is a good time to consider buying in.

The Senate overwhelmingly passed a second Wuhan coronavirus response bill, which Trump signed Wednesday night. The vote was a lopsided 90-8 despite concerns by many Republicans about a temporary new employer mandate to provide sick leave to workers who get COVID-19. The measure is also aimed at making tests for the virus-free.

Trump asked that hospitals cancel all elective surgeries to reduce the risk of being overwhelmed by new cases. He was also asked by the media as to why a number of celebrities, like pro athletes, seem to have easier access to diagnostic tests than ordinary citizens. His reply was somewhat weak: “Perhaps that's the story of life. I've heard that happens on occasion.”

Meanwhile, the administration pushed forward its broad economic rescue plan, which proposes $500 billion in checks to millions of Americans, with the first checks to come April 6 if Congress approves.

President Trump recently tested negative for the coronavirus but several senators have tested positive.

Nadler's such a hypocrite, even CNN questions his motives on impeachment

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-NY) has been such an incredibly big fat hypocrite over the Trump impeachment proceedings that even the Comedy News Network's (CNN) Dana Bash called him out on it.

During the Bill Clinton impeachment proceedings in 1998, the big fat hypocrite Nadler sung a different tune. "There must never be a narrowly voted impeachment or an impeachment substantially supported by one of our major political parties, and largely opposed by the other. Such an impeachment would lack legitimacy, would produce divisiveness and bitterness in our politics for years to come.”

Bash played the clip for Nadler on Sunday, saying, “So, right now, you are moving forward with impeachment proceedings against a Republican president without support from even one congressional Republican.”

This took Nadler by surprise coming from the one major cable news network that hates Trump so much they developed a plan on how to attack him in the media.

“Is it fair to say that this impeachment, in your words from back then, will produce divisiveness and bitterness in our politics for years to come?” Bash asked, knowing that the big fat hypocrite was not going to give an honest answer, if he answered the actual question at all.

“No,” Nadler lied, claiming that Trump was the one who was responsible for the “bitterness and divisiveness into our politics.”
Nadler in 1998
“So, you are willing to impeach the president with no Republican votes, correct?” Bash pressed.

“We’re going to impeach the president – if we’re going to impeach the president, we will impeach him on adequate and urgent grounds to defend our democratic republic,” Nadler responded.

“And if there’s no Republican votes, so be it?” Bash asked.

“It’s up to them to decide whether they want to be patriots or partisans,” Nadler responded with a typical leftist false choice.

On Tuesday, Nadler, along with Maxine Waters, one of the most corrupt congress members standing next to him, and Nancy "and her dancing dentures" Pelosi with a fake solemn facial expression, announced the charges against President Trump. And they are the most ridiculous charges imaginable. Remember, they were originally thinking of three charges, but the one they left out is bribery. That would be the only real charge that's impeachable, but they had no evidence that it took place so they dropped it.

Instead, the Dems went full-out crazy and had no proof of "high crimes and misdemeanors."  So they made stuff up.

Charge number one is "abuse of power." Nadler claimed that "it is an impeachable offense for the President to exercise the power of his public office to obtain an improper personal benefit while ignoring or injuring the national interest."

Ignoring or injuring the national interest? Can Nadler be more vague than that? In any case, it isn't an impeachable offense, even if you don't like what Trump did. That phrase cannot be interpreted with any limiting principle and is as useless as the impeachment inquiry was.

Nadler has no proof of intent--if Trump thought Biden was guilty of some kind of corruption, that would be fully permissible to investigate. Trump may have been concerned with Biden's behavior in 2016, instead of trying to undermine him for the 2020 election. If the former, then Trump is acting in the public interest, not against it for personal gain.

And ignoring the national interest is not a standard of intent. If that were the case, Obama would have been fair game for impeachment with his open mic statement to Russian President Medvedev when, just before his second term he told the Russian that after the election, he would have more flexibility. Do you believe that Obama didn't have a personal benefit in doing this?

The second charge, which is even more absurd than the first, is "Obstruction of Congress."

This is ridiculous on so many levels, but the first that comes to mind is that a President cannot obstruct a co-equal branch of government. If they called him in to testify and he refuses, he has the absolute right to do so. Then if Congress has the court subpoena him and he refuses, that's obstruction of justice--not Congress.

If anyone actually obstructed Congress, it is Adam Schiff, who refused to testify about his report.

But the good news is that once this goes to the GOP majority Senate, Schiff and his cronies are going to be under oath and will have to testify if properly subpoenaed.

What does Trump really believe?

Donald Trump changes his opinions more often than a chameleon changes its cable carrier. When asked about his opinion on bringing in skilled foreign labor for example, his opinion seems to depend upon which TV network the interview is being conducted.

He admits he changed his mind on this issue when questioned at the debate, but you have to wonder if he would have revealed his change of mind if he wasn't asked what his new opinion happens to be.

By the way, politicians call it evolving when they do it, and flip-flopping when others do it.

The Donald even changes the changes of his mind that he has made when he makes additional changes.

Let's look at some of these multiple changes.

On Obamacare:

In his June 16, 2015 campaign announcement, he wanted to get rid of Obamacare and "replace it with something much better."
July 29, 2015. On CNN Trump tells Bash, "I want to take care of everybody. You know, you have a group of people that aren't able to take care of themselves."
Bash: "How are you going to do that?"
Trump: "We're going to have to work out some kind of deal with hospitals where they can get some help, when they are sick, when they have no money and they are sick . . . "
Bash: "How do you do that though?"
Trump: "We're going to have to work out some kind of very, very smart deal with hospitals around the country."

In February 2016,  Trump said he liked the mandate, now he wants to abolish it.

On ISIS:

Last June 16, at his presidential campaign kickoff speech: "Within our military I will find the General Patton or I will find General MacArthur. I will find the right guy. I will find a guy that's going t take that military and make it really work."

Same interview on O'Reilly Bill asked, "Are you telling me you are going to send American ground troops into Syria?"
Trump's response was, "Im not telling you anything."
His secret was kept safe for several minutes until, "I will tell you what my plan will be--you have to go in. You have to go in."
O'Reilly then asked, "With ground troops?"
Trump: "Well, you  bomb the hell out of them and then you encircle it, and then you go in."
And the interview went back and forth as Trump's opinions changed faster than a speeding bullet.

On immigration:

July 23, 2015. "The first thing we have to do is strengthen our borders. And after that, were' going to have plenty of time to talk about it."

July 24, 2015. "Work something out so the good ones can stay. If somebody's been outstanding, we try and work something out."

July 26, 2015. "We're going to do what's right; some are going to have to go. And some, we're just going to see what happens."

July 27, 2015. "But the good ones--of which there are many--I want to expedite it so they can come back in legally."

July 29, 2015. On a CNN interview with Dana Bash, she asks, "What about the 'Dreamers'? What about people who came here when they were children, they didn't know what they were doing, they came with their parents who brought them here illegally? Should they have to leave too?"
Trump responded: "They're with their parents? It depends."

On Meet the Press, Sunday, Chuck Todd discussing the 'Dreamers' asked, "You're going to kick them out?"
Trump: "They have to go."

In the March GOP debate, Trump said he would have the military commit war crimes. Specifically, the crimes in question have to do with killing the families of terrorists, and use interrogation techniques like waterboarding and worse.
Trump: "They're not going to refuse me. If I say do it, they're going to do it."

He has since changed his opinion on this.

What I believe we're seeing is a candidate who knows what to say to the audience in front of him but knows little about the Constitution and the law. If Trump is evolving, then he's too much of a neophyte to be running the nation.

If he has a hidden agenda beyond serving his ego needs, than is he any better than a Barack Obama?

Still, if Trump won the GOP nomination, I would vote for him in a heartbeat. When George Burns, in his 90s was asked how it felt to be old, he said something like, "I prefer this to the alternative."

George also said, "When I was young, the Dead Sea was only sick."

I am thinking of the alternative.

FBI evidently confronted Eric "Boom Boom" Swalwell over the weekend and hoo boy

It has been a rough stretch for former Rep. Eric "Boom Boom" Swalwell . You know, the guy who's known for the fart heard round...
