Omar and her new husband with the wife he cheated on: her family values |
But try telling that to leftists like Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) who, on social media, attacked Ivanka Trump for her positive Twitter message of "family together." She obviously suffers from Trump Derangement Syndrome.
But Omar drew a slew of negative responses on social media Thursday after she reacted in her signature mean-spirited way to a pro-family Twitter post by Ivanka
The president’s daughter’s post called for families to make the best of their time at home together during the China virus [COVID-19] outbreak, suggesting they have a “living room camp out” along with sandwiches and other treats.
For Omar, this is a terrible idea because she apparently doesn't view family life in the same way Ivanka and the rest of us see it. Omar has hidden the identities of some family members and allegedly married one of them.
Ivanka simply posted the message: “A fun activity that also brings family together for a meal!” The post included a past photo of Trump with two of her and husband Jared Kushner’s three children.
Trump also invited her 8.1 million Twitter followers to share their own ideas of family fun using the hashtag #TogetherApart.
How horribly American of her.
Oh, the horror |
What a horrible thought. Imagine, families acting as families together. They should impeach her and her father for having her as a daughter.
Omar, in her typical, mean-spirited way just couldn't help herself and had to make a political point about President Trump's policies that help keep America a sovereign nation but taking a firm stance on immigration at the U.S.-Mexican border.
“Thinking of all the families separated forcefully by your father’s policies today,” Omar wrote.
Then, mocking Ivanka’s tweet and being the disgusting slut who she is, and was allegedly having an extramarital affair, and recently divorced again and married the person with whom she was alleged to have had the affair, caught some well-deserved flak. One person wrote that her past behavior as just described, made her unqualified to criticize another woman's comments on the subject of family.
“Why do you need to be so hateful?” one responder asked Omar. “Ivanka shared a simple family suggestion and you had to be spiteful and mean. Not something a true leader would do. Awful. I’m praying for this country to heal in all ways. You should try it.”
Unfortunately, it is highly unlikely that Omar prays, and if she actually does, that it would be for something good.
“Now? During the crisis? Free immigration now?” another wrote. “Open borders? You’ve displayed your opportunistic political virtue signaling, lack of patriotism and blatant hypocrisy once again.”
And that's being kind to her.
Some commenters joined Omar in attacking Ivanka Kushner.
“Cool tent Ivanka,” one envious person wrote. “I hope you thanked whichever one of your servants set it up for you.”
Now that's presumptuous. How does this person know that Ivanka's "servant" set the tent up and not Jared or Ivanka herself? But let's not pretend the envy of her wealth isn't causing this person to go "full-out hatred."
But Ivanka also has her own supporters who don't fault her for having money. Unlike Bernie Sanders, who thinks having money at a certain point makes you evil. At one time he said even millionaires were greedy, but stopped saying that once he made his millions; N\now it's only billionaires.
“So many don’t realize how amazing you are,” one commenter wrote. “You’re doing a good job keeping everyone calm. We appreciate your fam.”
And the left says that Republicans and Trump supporters are terrible people. No, we just don't virtue-signal how great we are and how evil they are--that's their shtick, and that's the only bullet in their gun.
But it turns out that, like their ideas, it's a blank.
