Rep. Emanuel Cleaver concludes prayer with a display of his woke cluelessness

A Democrat in Congress on Sunday showed us how stupid, albeit woke, he is. In his opening prayer for the 117th Congress, he concluded with the phrase, "Amen and Awoman," proving his lack of knowledge regarding the words that come out of his mouth.

Rep. Emanuel Cleaver (D) led the opening prayer. He is also a pastor at St. James United Methodist Church of Kansas City, Missouri, which should be a cause for embarrassment to anyone attending his church.

Cleaver's prayer to “The God known by many names and faith,” concluded with, “Amen and Awomen,” obviously, and ignorantly, ascribing gender to the traditional “Amen” conclusion of a prayer.

The word Amen comes from the Greek and Hebrew and is used by Christians and Jews in prayer.

Amen means “truly” or “it is so” and has nothing to do with gender. It isn't a man, or men, but is more like, "Yep, that's the truth." Any pastor should know that, and if he or she actually did but used it in a gendered way, should be ashamed to call him- or herself a pastor, much less a Christian or Jew.

Reverend Rep. Cleaver also shared a video of his prayer on social media which, due to his lack of knowledge, did not embarrass him.
I was honored to deliver the opening prayer for the 117th Congress. May God bless each and every Representative with the courage and wisdom to defend our democracy and the liberties we all hold so dearly. https://t.co/z3vkWOk7lc

Seriously, the guy is a dummy, and some ridiculed him on social media:
.How dumb are these people?
They think ”amen” is a gendered word.

ComedianLarry the Cable guy weighed in on the blatant stupidity.

Congress today did a prayer and finished it with “amen” AND “a woman” to be gender equal. Are they really that dumb. Amen is Latin/Hebrew for “Truly” or “So be it”? It has nothing to do with Gender. These people are complete idiots. Ex: “God is great.” “Amen” (truly) duh!

The Democrats are losing their collective mind over wokeness to the point where we may need to start changing or adding words:
menstruation becomes womenstruation
meningitis becomes womangitis
menses becomes womanses
manual labor becomes womanual labor
manuscript becomes womanuscript
Manhattan becomes Womanhattan
It makes just as much sense to make these changes as to what Cleaver did with the word Amen.

Seriously, liberalism is a mental disorder.

C'mon, man, gimme a break. You know you want to follow Brain Flushings--it's free and worth every penny, no joke. And remember, every time you click on an ad, an angel gets its wings and a liberal sheds a tear. C'mon, check out the ads and give them a good, hard clicking.

Liberals Label, Lie and Expect Little From Obama

Words have power. Liberals know this and are better than conservatives at using words to win arguments. Maybe they're better at it because we conservatives are nicer people so we don't fight back hard enough. It's like when someone that I know lies to me--I often believe the lie; not because I'm gullible, but because I don't tend to lie so it's almost taken for granted that others feel the same. So I'm not gullible yet maybe I'm naive. (Liberals would say I'm stupid, but I'll discuss name-calling later).

When a liberal wants to argue about, say, gun control, she, he or it, (say that fast and leave off the word 'or') will say that if you don't believe in gun control, you want kids to be killed, or simply don't care if they are murdered by guns. If you don't believe in abortion on demand, liberals accuse you of not believing in a woman's right to choose. Clever use of words. Conservatives need comebacks to these nonsensical claims. I would suggest you discuss the rights of the child they want to kill with abortion, while discussing the facts about gun control and how useful it is in stopping school shootings.

But I've yet to meet a liberal who'd let facts stand in the way of her feelings, or deter her from calling you a racist every time you disagree with the president. If you disagree with Obama, that doesn't make you a racist. If you see nothing that he is doing wrong with our country, that makes you a racist of low expectations. Only Obama was re-elected for a second term with an economy and employment rate that is this incredibly poor--no white president ever was--that's racism of low expectations. And what do we call black people who voted for Obama "because he is black,"? When you vote for someone based on skin color, that's just as racist as voting against someone based on skin color.

Words Words Words

Hail to the King
Words are symbols that wreak of power and influence. The American public elected Barack Hussein Obama based on his words; they had nothing else to judge him with because his senatorial record only revealed over a hundred "present" votes, but nothing to which he was actually committed. What this implies is that Obama does not commit to anything with action, but instead, uses words to give you hope that he will.

Next Thursday, Mr. Obama will be making a speech designed to turn around the economy with a plan to create jobs for the over 14 million Americans who are out of work. He will probably discuss spending cuts, but his real emphasis, I believe, will be on stimulus spending--more words that mean he wants us to throw more money after bad, as he did with Solyndra Inc.,  a company that produced solar panels.

Moe, Larry, and Curly
The Obama administration gave $535 million to Solyndra, a favorite 'green company' of his, and when it appeared to be having problems, private investors put in an additional $75 million with the government agreeing that if the company became insolvent, the private funds would be given priority over $385 million of the government's investment. Well, the company declared bankruptcy, abruptly laid off 1100 workers without notice, and we, the taxpayers are out a lot of money . . . again. Now the workers have filed a class action suit against the company based on their failure to provide them with 60 days notice of termination--a requirement of companies having at least 50 employees--but there are loopholes in this situation that may mean the workers are going to get, shall we say, screwed.

What is Obama going to say next Thursday? Words. Empty words. He will tell us how it isn't his fault by blaming others, including, I suspect, God; at least acts of God, like the hurricanes, tsunami, and earthquake.  But let's not forget that Obama has even blamed ATM machines for the country's economic woes.He will tell us how congress is failing America and refusing to cooperate in a bipartisan manner. He will blame the last administration and whine over the mess he inherited. Words.

Bye-I'm off on another vacation with your tax money
In spite of this, there will be plenty of people who will vote for him next year. They will not care about his record of reckless spending, a spending that led to no results. They will not care about how he is systematically socializing the country with government regulations, entitlement programs, company takeovers, and bailouts. They will only care about his words, his promise of change, his call for hope, and they will pull that lever and vote for him because they refuse to vote for a Republican, or they will have the baseless hope he requires of those who believe in him. That, by the way, is the problem. One 'believes in' God, for example, or doesn't. One should not have to 'believe in' a president. When one 'believes' in something, that belief is based on a prognostication of the future rather than results from the past, and that is always risky. Obama has no past to believe in except a past containing parents who were Communists, friends who were anarchists, a spiritual leader who is a racist, and a wife who did not feel proud to be an American.

If Obama's words give you comfort, you might be a liberal and only words, not deeds, count.
