Extremely Reverend Rep. Emanuel Cleaver tries to do a save over his "awoman" prayer-ending

As previously posted here, Democratic Rep. Emanuel Cleaver tried to modify the opening prayer for the 117th Congress by including the phrase "Amen and a-woman". In an attempt to sound woke, it clearly showed his ignorance of the word "Amen," which comes from the Hebrew meaning "so be it/" [H/T Daily Wire]

Cleaver spoke with Fox News' left-leaning Neil Cavuto on "Your World" that "99.999% of the people who are expressing outrage over his making a prayer into a gender issue, didn't hear the prayer.

And he knows that claim as a fact because he has unambiguous data from all the networks, Twitter, YouTube and Jesus that proves his point. Yes, fully 99.999 percent of everyone who called him out for his stupidity never even heard the prayer.

"The prayer wasn't for them," he said, trying to sound convincing. "I'm talking to God on behalf of Congress, asking for unity and so forth, asking God to give us that strength to do that. I ended the prayer by saying, 'Hey, man, we have a record number of women in Congress, including the first [female] chaplain in 240 years of United States history ...'" But he didn't actually say that--all he said was "Amen and awoman."

Not a very good save unless you're gullible and think Stacy Abrams is Governor of Georgia.

"All that's well and good, Congressman," the leftist Cavuto pointed out, but the "amen" is actually from the Hebrew word that means 'so be it.' It has nothing to do with gender. So were you just making a point here, or were you saying something bigger?" Cavuto asked, hoping the so-called Reverend would be able to wiggle out of what he said.

"I ended the prayer by saying 'Amen,' which comes from the Hebrew root word ..." Cleaver repeated after Cavuto helped him out with the actual definition. "The 'a-woman' was after the prayer ended, trying to recognize the record number of women now in Congress and a female chaplain." Except the "Amen" was also after the prayer ended followed by "awoman."

If you believe Cleaver, you might also believe snakes have hips and Elvis is alive.

Rep. Emanuel Cleaver concludes prayer with a display of his woke cluelessness

A Democrat in Congress on Sunday showed us how stupid, albeit woke, he is. In his opening prayer for the 117th Congress, he concluded with the phrase, "Amen and Awoman," proving his lack of knowledge regarding the words that come out of his mouth.

Rep. Emanuel Cleaver (D) led the opening prayer. He is also a pastor at St. James United Methodist Church of Kansas City, Missouri, which should be a cause for embarrassment to anyone attending his church.

Cleaver's prayer to “The God known by many names and faith,” concluded with, “Amen and Awomen,” obviously, and ignorantly, ascribing gender to the traditional “Amen” conclusion of a prayer.

The word Amen comes from the Greek and Hebrew and is used by Christians and Jews in prayer.

Amen means “truly” or “it is so” and has nothing to do with gender. It isn't a man, or men, but is more like, "Yep, that's the truth." Any pastor should know that, and if he or she actually did but used it in a gendered way, should be ashamed to call him- or herself a pastor, much less a Christian or Jew.

Reverend Rep. Cleaver also shared a video of his prayer on social media which, due to his lack of knowledge, did not embarrass him.
I was honored to deliver the opening prayer for the 117th Congress. May God bless each and every Representative with the courage and wisdom to defend our democracy and the liberties we all hold so dearly. https://t.co/z3vkWOk7lc

Seriously, the guy is a dummy, and some ridiculed him on social media:
.How dumb are these people?
They think ”amen” is a gendered word.

ComedianLarry the Cable guy weighed in on the blatant stupidity.

Congress today did a prayer and finished it with “amen” AND “a woman” to be gender equal. Are they really that dumb. Amen is Latin/Hebrew for “Truly” or “So be it”? It has nothing to do with Gender. These people are complete idiots. Ex: “God is great.” “Amen” (truly) duh!

The Democrats are losing their collective mind over wokeness to the point where we may need to start changing or adding words:
menstruation becomes womenstruation
meningitis becomes womangitis
menses becomes womanses
manual labor becomes womanual labor
manuscript becomes womanuscript
Manhattan becomes Womanhattan
It makes just as much sense to make these changes as to what Cleaver did with the word Amen.

Seriously, liberalism is a mental disorder.

Rep. Cleaver hired former 'Mickey D' burger-flipper to manage his data for 3 years

"The Cleav"
Democratic Missouri Rep. Emanuel Cleaver (no relation to Beaver Cleaver as "The Beav" is a fictional character) hired Rao Abbas, a former McDonald's hamburger-flipper, to manage his digital data for three years.

"The Beav"
Cleaver  paid Abbas $60,000 as his IT guy in order to cover his actual IT guy, Imran Awan. He claimed on an audio recording that the now-indicted Imran Awan was actually his guy, a very un-kosher move.

The Democratic congress-crumb is facing a serious ethics complaint for paying an unqualified former McDonald's employee to manage his data for 3 years and allegedly admitting he handed over control of his server to Pakistani-American, and now indicted scumwafer, Imran Awan, despite Awan not being on his staff.

It isn't clear whether any sensitive government information was secreted to the Pakistani government, but the possibility definitely exists.

A complaint against Cleaver asks the Congressional Ethics Office to investigate his response to a question about his IT aide Rao Abbas, whose previous job was flipping burgers and wiping counters at a McDonald's restaurant.

"Imran is the guy who worked in our office," Cleaver said on an audio recording. "I don't know this other guy."
"The other guy"

But payroll records tell a different story. They show Awan wasn't on Cleaver's payroll, and for the last 3 years, the only person he authorized to manage his servers was a burger server named Rao Abbas.

Dems admit mistake in selecting old fart to rebut Trump

Dumocratic officials admit they made "a mistake" in choosing former Gov. Steve Beshear (D-KY-jelly) to deliver the party's response to President Trump's congressional speech, a prominent House member told the leftist network MSNBC on Wednesday.

Rep. Emanuel Cleaver (no relation to Beaver) has represented Missouri since 2005 and chaired the Congressional Black Caucus. He spoke a day after Mr. Trump's speech on Tuesday saying that his party chose the wrong guy to represent their pot party.

"I don't mind saying when we make mistakes. And that was a mistake," Cleaver said.

Beshear, 72 (and looks it) delivered a widely mocked speech in a diner during which he claimed to be a Republican at one point. The people in the 'Peanut Gallery' looked like they wanted to crawl away.

When Cleaver was asked what Democrats were thinking when they selected Beshear, Cleaver replied: "The problem is, you're asking about thinking, and that didn't happen."

Yes, thinking and feeling are two different things.

Cleaver called for younger, more diverse candidates such as Louisiana Rep. Cedric Richmond, and Urban Development Secretary Julian Castro, who shares the same surname of liberal heroes, Raul and Fidel and some of the same values.

At a media dinner Wednesday night where Congress members performed joke-filled monologues, Richmond ad-libbed a joke about Kellyanne Conway who was photographed kneeling on a sofa in the Oval Office this week.

Earlier in the program, Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC) joked that "a whole lot worse" had happened on that sofa in the 1990s.

Richmond responded: "Tim, you kind of opened the door," he said. "I really just want to know what was going on there, because, you know, I won't tell anybody. And you can just explain to me that circumstance--because she really looked kind of familiar in that position there. Don't answer--and I don't want you to refer back to the 1990s."

The Democrats have long been calling the GOP the party of "old white men." If you look at who they ran against Trump, and who leads each party in the House and Senate, you may come to a different conclusion.
