Socialist Mayor Mamdani booed off the stage in a New York minute: gets instant karma in Staten Island

New York City’s freshly minted socialist, comrade Mayor Zohran Mamdani showed up to a massive pro-police celebration on Staten Island thinking the working-class crowd would greet him like a conquering hero. 

Fat chance.

Instead, 3,500 residents and families treated him like the defund-the-police enthusiast he has always been and the result was that in under a minute of incoherent taqiyya mumbling, the crowd drowned him out with pure, unfiltered American 'eff off.'

Mamdani, the Democratic Socialists of America, anti-Semite, who spent years treating cops like the enemy, stepped up to the microphone at the NYPD’s 43rd Patrol Borough National Night Out Against Crime. He barely got out a greeting before the boos, jeers, and chants of “get out of here” and “nobody wants you” turned the stage into his personal walk of shame. 

He tried to power through but the crowd refused to let up and bow down to his nonsense.

Eventually the commie mayor clutched his heart in that signature performative Islamic-like gesture, waved like a beauty pageant contestant who just lost, and fled the stage still smiling as if the entire humiliation was some kind of progressive victory lap. This was what can only be described as a major dork performance and embarrassment. 

The audience kept right on booing and shaking fists while organizers desperately tried to restore order. Conservative voices wasted no time celebrating the moment of clarity. Pundit Eric Daugherty summed it up perfectly: the mayor was “VICIOUSLY booed and jeered off stage” and “walked off in SHAME.” 

Commentator Joey Mannarino added the necessary realism: “New York’s communist mayor just got the reception he actually deserves.” 

The same cops and taxpayers this DSA scumcrumpet spent years vilifying and trying to defund finally told him exactly where he could stick his soft-on-crime agenda. 

Staten Island, unofficially known as the last remaining pocket of common sense in the five boroughs, saw right through the act. This was not some random outburst because everyone with eyes and ears knows how Mamdani’s entire political brand has been built on treating law enforcement like the problem. His campaign embraced the defund movement. His first budget sliced police funding and scrapped plans to hire 5,000 new officers.

Then came “Snowballgate,” the February incident where roughly 100 people pelted NYPD officers with ice projectiles, injuring two. Mamdani’s response was to minimize the dickwads behavior by calling them “kids” having a playful snowball fight and carefully avoid any suggestion that assaulting cops might actually be illegal. If you saw the video of the incident, you'd immediately know that this wasn't a freaking snowball fight but an attack on police. 

Crime expert Rafael Mangual noted the obvious: the mayor refused to back the NYPD or call for prosecutions. The message was clear. Officers are the bad guys. Violent mobs are simply energetic youth.

So when the same commie mayor waltzed into a National Night Out Against Crime event expecting applause, Staten Island delivered the only logical response. The people who actually live with the consequences of progressive soft-on-crime policies decided they had heard enough. No amount of hand-over-heart theatrics could paper over years of anti-police rhetoric. The crowd simply exercised their right to free speech and informed the mayor that his particular brand of socialism has no constituency among the people who still believe cops should be allowed to do their jobs.

In the end, Mamdani left the stage to sustained mockery while the rest of the city continues to deal with the real-world results of his bs ideology. High crime, declining quality of life, and a police force under constant political assault do not magically disappear because a socialist mayor smiles through the boos. 

Staten Island just made that point louder and clearer than any policy paper ever could. God bless the people who still refuse to pretend otherwise.

FL state legislature shoots down democratic socialism with official resolution

The Florida House passed a bill sponsored by Rep. Tom Fabricio (R) denouncing democratic socialism saying that it threatens American democracy.

The bill has no real teeth but the leftist Democrats disavowed the bill and probably thought it was racist like everything else that threatens their agenda of aggregating power from every facet of government they can.

“Democratic socialism is really no different from socialism itself,” Fabricio correctly observed.

During debate, Fabricio argued that the politics espoused by leftists like U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont (I), a man who never held a real job in his life and has lived off the taxpayer for years, was wrongheaded and dangerous for American democracy and capitalism.

“Democratic socialism is a slippery slope that does lead to socialism in many nations, and people have died looking to obtain individual liberties that we enjoy here today,” he said. Yes, about 100 million of them were killed trying to be free of the socialist/communist system.

The resolution doesn't ban any political party or prevent political candidates who identify as a democratic socialist from holding public office or seeking it. The bill simply points out how socialism is a product of envy of what successful people earned.

Nevertheless, Democrats have bristled at being outed as socialists because they were trying to keep it a secret.

“Social democracy is not socialism, and democratic socialism is not socialism — if it was, there wouldn’t be the modifier. It implies that there is an element of democracy,” Democratic state Rep. Joe Geller lied. 

Democrats are masters at using words that are used to clean up their act: "pro-choice" as opposed to "killing babies;" "health care" as opposed to "killing more babies;" "infrastructure" as opposed to anything that isn't classified as "racist." 

Social democracy and democratic socialism have the same goals as socialism: to increase the size of government and empower those in government, while changing the economic means of ownership and production and give it to the state. Common ownership is also necessary and that can only be achieved at the end of a gun, which is why the left wants to take guns away from those who disagree with socialism. Remember, socialism is a ploy of the envious and it's immoral at its core while pretending to be otherwise. The left wants what you worked for--kind of like what those who never were enslaved by you or me and still want us to pay reparations.

The Republican-led House passed the resolution along party lines in a 79-36 vote.

Alexandria Occasionally Coherent-Cortex has no good, very bad night at SOTU

Repulsive Alexandria Occasionally Coherent-Cortex (Dimwit-NY) was criticized by Wall Street Journal columnist Peggy Noonan Tuesday after President Trump delivered the State of the Union Address to a joint session of Congress February 5th.

Noonan said that Cortex looked "sullen, teenaged and at a loss" during the evening where she kept her mouth shut and refused to applaud Trump's remarks as he spoke of the low employment numbers and efforts to cure AIDS and stop sex traffickers under his administration.

Cortex - a frequent low functioning critic of Trump - took to Twitter to defend herself.

"Why should I be “spirited and warm” for this embarrassment of a #SOTU? Tonight was an unsettling night for our country. The president failed to offer any plan, any vision at all, for our future. We’re flying without a pilot. And I‘m not here to comfort anyone about that fact," she wrote.

She was particularly embarrassed over Trump's low unemployment and statement that the United States will never be a socialist nation.

Cortex, along with the other white-clad Stepford wives, clapped for themselves when Trump recognized the number of women in Congress. They were trying to make a case for women's suffrage, a non-issue, and acted as if they, themselves, were the heroes of women's suffrage. They are the beneficiaries of the men and women whose shoulders they stand upon.

Trump's appeal for unity is unlikely to win over many of his Democratic critics in Congress. Before Trump even delivered his speech, California Sen. Kamala Harris, a 2020 Democratic presidential candidate, said through her nose, "We will hear insincere appeals to unity." As if that's a bad thing.

Also in the audience were several other Democrats running to challenge Trump in 2020, including Cory "Spartacus" Booker of New Jersey, Elizabeth "Dances With DNA" Warren of Massachusetts and Kirsten "Whichever Way the Wind Blows" Gillibrand of New York.

Noonan tweeted, "This has been a deeply adept speech in terms of policy. He cut to the muscle on legal and illegal immigration, on abortion and infanticide, on foreign wars. His vow on socialism will be remembered. Great heroes in the balcony, a real American panoply."

Trump's only missteps were his bringing up the Mueller investigation and saying that if he had not been elected president, we would be at war with North Korea now. But overall, it was a great speech.

Andrew Cuomo pretends to be a socialist then minimizes Democratic socialism

New York Gov. and 'Special Needs Politician' Andrew Cuomo campaigned so far to the left in this primary, people may have thought he was running for president of Venezuela. But on Friday, he slammed into New York's Democratic socialist [aka socialist] wave after easily beating his gubernatorial challenger, and lesbian actress, Cynthia Nixon. He pretended to dismiss the socialist movement by referring to it as "not even a ripple."

"That is a revolution," the block of wood named Cuomo said of his win. "That is a wave. On the numbers. Not on some Twittersphere dialogue where I tweet you and you tweet me and between the two of us, we think we have a wave. We're not even a ripple," he added cryptically, or in his secret language that only he and his brother Chris share.

But let's be real, Democratic socialists are beating long-standing establishment candidates all across the country, and Cuomo is one of those long-standing politicians.

[Chris Stirewalt of Fox News put it nicely about Cuomo saying that "He was born on third base and everyone thinks he hit a triple," referring to the fact that he's the former New York Gov., Mario Cuomo's son.]

He was a big target for the far left but he won due to his name and Hillary Clinton's backing along with several tons of money.

He pontificated to reporters on Friday, trying to present himself as the pragmatic progressive [which is an oxymoron], rather than a "pontificator."

Cuomo bragged about his progressive achievements on minimum wage, gun control and same-sex marriage, which insinuates that he's not a good Catholic nor an expert in economics.

His opponent, socialist Cynthia Nixon said Cuomo dove to the left to fend off her campaign, calling it the "Cynthia Effect," and she's correct. Sadly, the entire Democratic Party is morphing into the Democratic Socialist Party because leftists want everything handed to them.

Cuomo the New York Daily News:

"A progressive Democrat, a Democrat in New York state, these are not ivory tower academics, these are not pontificators, these are not people who live in the abstract or theoretical. 

"New York Democrats, these are hard-working men and women, they're middle class, they're working families, they have real problems, and they need real help in life, and they don't need theoretical or abstract solutions, they need real solutions in their lives."

Although he clearly attacked Nixon, Andy Boy Cuomo also took a swipe at Alexandria "Blame-it-on-the-Bossa-Nova-Ocasio-Cortez, another Democratic socialist who doesn't know the difference between socialism and democratic socialism, or excrement from Shinola. But she's young, not frumpy like Hillary, and Bernie loves her.

Due to her poverty of economic expertise, she has become the darling of the left and Cuomo went after her before Bill Clinton got a chance.

"I am not a socialist. I am not 25 years old. [I believe Cortez is actually 26]. I am not a newcomer. But I am a progressive, and I deliver progressive results."

And those results can be viewed in Chicago, Detroit and San Francisco.

Cuomo will face Republican Marc Molinaro and Independent Stephanie Miller in November. He will win--New Yorkers are clueless.

Ocasio-Cortez's brain is short-circuited or something

"Where's that dead bird again?"

Democratic socialist congressional candidate and low-information darling of the far left, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez spoke with Jon Lovett, on Pod Save America.

Lovett is a former stand-up comic and an Obama/Hillary Clinton speech writer. His "life partner" is Ronan Farrow making Lovett's intersectionality creds beyond reproach.

The host asked Ocasio-Cortez for details as to how her socialist delusions would be paid for, such as universal healthcare and free college tuition. After bloviating for over two minutes, she eventually said that she has no idea. Her obfuscating rhetoric went like this:

"We don't talk about what defense costs; we're about to hit a trillion dollars in debt because of the corporate tax cuts; yet when we talk about pre-K, healthcare, college, suddenly it's unrealistic because of the cost. And it's not just bad faith Republicans that make that argument; you hear it from Democrats as well. What's your response to that?"

She sounded as if her passion equated to economic understanding, but she revealed an utter lack of knowledge regarding economics--something leftists lack as a rule. "Well, I think it's that exact same thing," she said, providing pod cast listeners with a WTF moment.

But she wasn't done:

"It's that we . . . you know they say, 'How are you going to pay for it?' as though they haven't used those same ways to pay for unlimited wars, to pay for trillion dollar tax cuts and tax cut extensions. They use these mechanisms to pay for these things all the time."

She didn't explain what those "same ways" or "mechanisms" are, but hey, she's a democratic socialist--it's all good.

But she still wasn't done with her brainy blather:

"They only want to know--it just seems like their pockets are empty when we're talking about education and investing in human capital in the United State: education, healthcare, housing, and investing in the middle class."

Investing in the middle class apparently means taking other people's money and giving it to people who didn't work for it. And the students who want to game the system by getting free college education would have the grown-ups in the room pay for it.

Still more brilliance:

"All of a sudden, there's nothing left. All of a sudden the wealthiest nation in the world, we're just totally scarce. We have complete scarcity when it comes to the things that are most important."

Yeh, like Venezuela, like, when it comes to like scarcity--of freaking food and toilet paper.

And then she said:

"And as for me, I think it belies a lack of moral priority and it's unfortunate" [that other people will not give their money to her or to others who have their hands out].

But the clincher:

"I think that--but I also think that a lot of these folks, especially those perhaps on the Democratic side, perhaps they don't even see it, you know? I don't know. I don't know if that's a generous interpretation or not, but I legitimately think that they start kind of buying into conservative talking points. [Like socialism is like stealing]. They get dragged into their court all the time. And I think it is because there's this really myopic, and also, just misunderstanding of politics [LOL] as this flat 2-dimensional left-right thing. [?] And so they always feel like, 'Okay, the Right says this thing. We have to respond to it.' And that's why they're winning. That's why they've won for the last ten years, because they've dragged us onto their court. And we refuse to have our own strong message to force them to play defense on."

And that is how the government is going to pay for her free college tuition, healthcare and infrastructure.

Oh, wait! She never actually explained how.

Maybe Bernie Sanders can tell us because Ocasio-Cortez doesn't know what the hell she's talking about.
