Eliot Spitzer wants judge to toss alleged Russian escort's lawsuit

Disgraced former governor of New York, former MSNBC host and CNN frequent guest, Eliot Spitzer has asked a judge to toss out the remainder of a lawsuit filed by his accuser and Russian escort Svetlana Travis, now that portions of the suit have gone public. [H/T New York Post]

The alleged $5,000-a-night prostitute filed suit against the Democrat in 2020 but the case was filed under seal and partially made public after The Post and another media outlet recently petitioned a judge.

Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Paul Goetz ordered the portions of the suit relating to Ms. Travis' allegations that Spitzer choked her during sexual intercourse gone wrong on Feb. 13, 2016 at the Plaza Hotel would be unsealed. The order dismissed all of the other allegations against Spitzer except the one referencing the Plaza Hotel choking incident.

An unsealed, heavily redacted, version of Travis’ suit was filed on Dec. 16 and recently made accessible to the gossip-hungry public.

Spitzer’s smart, Jewish lawyer Adam Kaufmann, sent a letter to the judge asking him to allow Kaufmann to file a motion to dismiss the rest of her suit. The letter was also made public.

Spitzer co-hosting on CNN

“Plaintiff launched this action as part of her effort to extract revenge against Mr. Spitzer, his family and anyone remotely close to him after she was prosecuted and jailed for her extortive scheme against Mr. Spitzer and another victim,” Kaufmann wrote, only made public this week.

“Plaintiff’s own filings to the court demonstrate that her single remaining claim cannot be sustained,” Kaufmann wrote asking to file a motion for summary judgment.

Travis accused Spitzer of choking her during coitus in 2016 at the Plaza Hotel. She pleaded guilty to attempted petit larceny in 2017.

Of the newly unsealed suit, Kaufmann said, “There is nothing new in these allegations. They have been investigated by law enforcement and dismissed as complete fabrications.

“In fact, Ms. Travis herself sent an email unequivocally apologizing and retracting the allegations the day after she initially made them,” Kaufmann's statement said. “We are pleased the court dismissed most of the counts and are confident the rest of the case will follow.”

Travis was sentenced to 90 days time served in 2017 after pleading guilty to attempted petit larceny for trying to steal rent from another ex-lover [aka coitus client]. The plea deal meant she didn’t have to cop to charges accusing her of extorting $400,000 from Spitzer to keep quiet about their sexcapades.

Svetlana Travis

In 2017, Spitzer filed suit against Travis accusing her of fraud and extortion but he dropped the case just a few months later, perhaps because he didn't want to get caught with his pants down.

Travis’ lawyer Joseph Murray [Michael Avenatti wasn't available] filed a response letter Tuesday opposing Spitzer’s request to make a motion for summary judgment, alleging that Spitzer’s side has filed motions which have delayed the case from moving forward.

Murray also disputed all of Kaufmann’s assertions from his letter alleging that Travis, not Spitzer, was the real victim and claiming that Spitzer threatened Travis to keep her from fully cooperating with officials over the Feb. 13 incident.

According to MSNBC, Eliot Spitzer considers himself to be a feminist .  .  .  all coitus aside.

Spitzer's wife divorced him in 2013.

Eliot Spitzer is an incredibly disgusting human

Some folks go to a gym to build up their arms. Some do pushups at home.

But the former Democratic Governor of New York, Eliot Spitzer? He used to work out by smuggling his Russian mistress into his Upper East Side home in luggage while his unsuspecting wife was gone. The way Spitzer would do it was by stuffing her inside a piece of luggage, according to the story his mistress told The Post.

“He used to sneak me into his Fifth Avenue apartment in a black suitcase . . . when his wife was away,’’ Svetlana Travis Zakharova told The Post in an exclusive interview.

After they finished what they went there for, they would watch CNN.

“My knees would be up by my face. When the doorman would ask if he could help, Eliot would say, ‘No, thanks.’ ”

What a guy. What a workout.

She revealed the sneaky tactic — which she said the pair pulled off about fifteen times at the Spitzer household — as her lawyer prepared a new push to put the disgraced former POS behind bars.

The Russian hottie first made news in early 2016 when she accused Spitzer of choking her during a sex-session-gone-awry at the Plaza Hotel in Midtown, Manhattan.

He explained that he was merely working on his grip strength, he weakly claimed.

Now, Zakharova’s Queens lawyer, Joseph Murray, is asking Manhattan US Attorney Geoffrey Berman to investigate Spitzer for alleged “improprieties” in his efforts to evade prosecution. He had planned to do the same with Hillary Clinton, but decided it would be useless as the Clintons appear to be judgment-proof.

Zakharova recently told The Post that when she met the then-married multimillionaire in 2010, he was as cocky as ever — but still a bum underneath it all.

Ya think?

“When I first met him, he bragged how rich he was. But I didn’t believe him because he had holes in his underwear,’’ she said.

He blamed his wife, Silda, for not buying him new skivvies.

Zakharova, now 28, said Spitzer, 59, would whine about another girlfriend and his wife when they met up for their anything-goes romps. Evidently, they refused to do "the dirty" with him the way he liked.

She said their relationship lasted so long because the pinstripe-loving former politician was a “sexual deviant’’ — and “his wife and other girlfriends wouldn’t do things.“

He told me about problems with his wife. She complained about his drinking. She bought a dog without telling him,” Zakharova said.

Silda loved that dog. Spitzer loved sex toys.

“We were seeing each other four times a week’’ for sex, said Zakharova, who has previously described leading Spitzer around on a black leash during their bedroom games.

“He would tie me up and call me names — ‘a b—h.’ He would say, ‘I’m going to kill you.’

“He said, ‘Whatever happens in bed stays in bed.’ ”

Zakharova finally broke her silence about her relationship with Spitzer in February 2016 and called 911 claiming her Spitzer had beaten and choked her in their $1,000-a-night room at The Plaza, screaming at her, “What am I paying you for?” when she refused him sex.

She later claimed that Spitzer — a Harvard Law School grad — threatened to kill her in a taped phone call after the hotel incident.

Prosecutors never brought charges against Spitzer, although they targeted Zakharova, who was accused of trying to shake him down for $400,000.

When asked about the alleged suitcase capers Thursday, Spitzer shook his head and muttered something incoherent before getting in a car and driving off to pursue his dreams and fetishes.

Spitzer's prostitute may take plea deal

Sveet Svetlana
The Russian whore accused of extorting the hot and handsome Democratic "Love Gov" Eliot Spitzer might take a plea deal, according to prosecutors.

Pretty little Miss Svetlana Travis Zakharova, 26, is charged for extorting Spitzer for $400,000 from 2014 to 2016 by threatening to tell the world of his love for her "professionalism," if you know what I mean.

The cutesy brunette is also in hot wax in another case for targeting ex-lover Paul Nipples, (seriously, that's his name), the owner of a Manhattan toy store.

"[Defense lawyer] Mr. Murray and I have been talking, and there is a possibility of a disposition," Assistant DA Stuart Levy told Judge Chuck Solomon in Manhattan Supreme Court.

The Spitzers
Although Levy wouldn't state the terms of the potential agreement, Joe Murray said his client's immigration status was her main concern--she doesn't want to have to return to Russia.

"I'm looking for a plea that will not require her to be deported," Murray said. "They [the prosecutors] have been working very hard with me."

Immigration attorney Mike Goldman, who isn't involved in the case, said that "Most felony convictions will almost certainly lead to removal proceeding and some misdemeanor convictions as well."

The hearing were to begin on Wednesday but prosecutors filed a letter last month saying they weren't ready to proceed.

Zakharova initially said that Eliot Spitzer roughed her up during an argument in his $1,000 per night suite at the Plaza Hotel and limited house of ill repute in February 2016.

"She was built like . . ."
The prostitute then fled to Russia but her karma kicked in and she then became a target of an extortion investigation.

The Bronx DA's Office is prosecuting both cases and the lady of the night is due back in court the day prior to Halloween.

Spitzer claimed that with his looks, he was lucky just to get a prostitute to agree having sex with him, but to have such a hottie do the tricks, well, it was worth the taxpayer's money.

Groping, Hoping, and Rope-a-Doping

I enjoy and occasional grope
Mayor Bob Filner (D) of San Diego, has been accused of groping women who worked for him. He refuses to resign, and who can blame him when you have Anthony Weiner and Eliot Spitzer back in the political fray? The Democrats love these guys--Weiner and Spitzer are both running in front of their campaign competition and Filner figures his chances of staying a top Democrat is almost assured now that he's cool with the left. There is no sexual indiscretion too big, not salacious act too vulgar, no marital impropriety too hurtful that it cannot be overlooked by Democrats or even made to be cool.

Weiner Spitzer: the Fightin' Duo

Spitzer and Weiner are both running for public office again. I believe they could best be effective in public life if they ran for office in Egypt. But since both men are Jewish, I don't think that's such a good idea. Muslims don't cotton to Jews--the koran kind of set the stage for that.

Not so ironically, Anthony Weiner is leading the race for New York City Mayor but let's face it, as long as he's a Democrat it doesn't matter how disgusting his behavior was before all this. So he showed little weiner on Twitter, big deal (or little deal, I don't know which). We can always forgive New York Democrats no matter what. Even Weiner's Muslim Brotherhood connected wife seems to forgive him, not unlike her boss, Hillary Clinton forgave Bill for his ongoing "indisgressions."

The Democratic Hall of Shame

A Magic Moment
Anthony Weiner finally admitted that the Twitter crotch belongs to him, but one thing we've learned from all this is that his ego is certainly larger than his intellect, and seriously larger than his junk. Isn't it amazing how narcissistic Weiner has to be in order to think that a) he wouldn't get caught; b)  he could lie and get away with it; and then c) blame Andrew Breitbart, the conservative internet journalist, for the false accusation, then once admitting he was guilty, not apologize like a mensch. Also, he is not resigning form office, but that should be a good thing for the Republican party--they want a guy like Tony Putz to represent Democratic values because they know Americans are better than that and would swing their vote over to the right side of the aisle.

But if you put the interests of the Republicans aside, you would hope that a member of office, appointed by the people, would have a sense of honor and therefore resign from that office. We must not give him too much credit however, after all, he is a Democrat. Did Bill Clinton resign when Monica Lewinsky saved her Clinton-stained dress? No, he did not. Did Clinton resign when it was learned he had affairs with: Paula Jones, Gennifer Flowers, Juanita Broderick, or Dolly Browning? No, silly rabbit, he didn't resign even though he lied under oath.

"She was in remission"
Other liberal politicians committed acts no worse than Putz's--take Eliot Spitzer, the ex-Governor of New York and CNN prime time go-to ugly guy. Well, okay, Spitzer resigned, but he got caught with his pants down, metaphorically. John Edwards didn't have to resign when he had an affair while his wife, Elizabeth, was diagnosed with breast cancer. At least Edwards didn't have the affair while she way actually dying--he had it while "she was in remission." What a guy. The baby he and Reile Hunter had, Frances Quinn, is fine and dandy and living with Edwards' other kids now that Elizabeth died from her remission of cancer.

New York seems to be a great place to fool around; just look at Governor David Paterson and his wife, who, he claims, sleeps around like he does. Strong family values, those Democrats. Yet sleeping around, having multiple affairs, while it really sucks snake eggs, isn't as bad as what others have done in the political bedroom.  Here's a really partial list:

Kwame Kilpatrick--former mayor of Detroit--youngest to be elected in 2002, was also the only mayor there to be charged with a felony, infidelity, perjury, conspiracy and murder.
Marc Dann--Att'y Gen. Ohio--had an affair with a staffer that later became a sexual harassment scandal. At least he had the honor to resign.
Gary Condit--Rep (D-CA)--had an affair with Chandra Levy who later was found murdered. Go figure.
Paul Morrison--Att'y Gen. Kansas--had an affair with a staffer after switching from Republican to Democrat (and the average IQ increased on both sides of the aisle). The affair, with Linda Carter (not the original Linda Carter of Wonder Woman fame), later became ugly when she filed a suit against Morrison for sexual harassment when he pressured her to dig up dirt on his former political foe.
Roosevelt Dobbins--Congressman from AK (Bill Clinton's home state, coincidentally)--pleaded guilty to fondling a 16 year old girl.
Antonio Villaraigosa--the first Latino mayor of LA, and the first Latino mayor of LA to have an affair with a TV reporter. (Perhaps she was a typical liberal and this was simply her way of advocating for the cause.)
Tim Mahoney--(no relationship to Jerry Mahoney, the reknown ventriloquist's--Paul Winchell--dummy)--Rep. (D-FL): it was alleged by the media that in 2008, he paid "hush money" to a former mistress, of whom he had several, to keep hushed about the affair as it would not sit well with his wife and his constituents.
Neil Goldschmidt--a Democratic politician from Oregon.  Neil wins the sleeze award as far as I'm concerned--he had a sexually abusive relationship with a 14 year old girl that lasted until she was 17. It was rumored that he enticed her with free text messaging on her own iPhone.

So maybe you think Tony Putz isn't all that bad. After all, he didn't have sex with 21 year old college student, Gennette Cordova, he just showed her his wee wee. But it isn't about that--it's about poor judgment by someone who we are supposed to trust with important government decisions. It's about someone who just got married this past year to a beautiful, intelligent woman, who obviously had her brain on hold when she married him. It's actually about right and wrong, good and bad, honest and deceitful. I don't see how this guy can ever really be trusted, but I say that about a lot of Democrats. Sure, I know conservatives have sinned in similar manners, but this is not about them--it's about Weiner. I have promised myself that this will be the last time I write about him; including Twitter. He isn't worth the time, and the media is only going to cover it up anyway, or at least try, and if they can't, they will throw the guy under the bus.

At least if he resigns, he can always find a job with the mainstream media. He should consider CNN.
