Happy Thanksgiving Mom & Dad--See You When I Can

Airline flights are up, baggage fees are astronomical, gasoline is rising, and Thanksgiving is tomorrow. Is it worth traveling home just to see your family? Is there going to be anything special about it? Will Dad say something that will change your life, or Mom cook the best Turkey (tofu turkey if she's a socialist) you've ever tasted? Will you and your siblings make up and be close again? Will bluebirds sing and all be well with the world?

The Big Question:  Is it worth going home for Thanksgiving?

You bet it is. We are walking on the outer portion of this ball of dirt for far fewer days than the dollars our government spends in just one day, and there is nothing more important than our family. Nothing.  Humans create artificial holidays to celebrate artificial occasions, but we do it for good reasons. We need to be gregarious, to touch, to love those who have walked with us, for some distance along this ball of dirt. We need to let our parents know that they are important to us now that we don't need them for what we once needed them for--and this is the love we have to share.

I am an orphan-my dad died when I was in the Marines, and Mom died on her 90th birthday, just two years ago. I may no longer be a child, but I am as much an orphan for lack of living parents as any child who may have hardly known his or her parents before losing them.

So spend the money to take the trip to get your butt home. There are only so many days you will have to walk on this ball of dirt with them. Have a safe journey home and have a wonderful, wonderful Thanksgiving.

Debate Stardate 39583.4614

If you think Ron Paul made good points in last night's CNN debate about our national security, you might be a liberal, or if not a liberal, a Libertarian, or you might be an Idiot. I don't mean to sound redundant, but if you don't see the current danger with Iran's nuclear proliferation, you just might have serious denial problems.

Overall, I think CNN (which is an acronym for "Certainly Not News") did a good job. Wolf Blitzer, who cannot speak an entire sentence without pausing for a breath, was reasonably good as a moderator--he didn't get anal about time, and unlike CBS, NBC, or ABC, he didn't ambush the debators. So I give CNN kudos for this one--I hope that this becomes a trend, but I doubt it.

One can understand why CNN allowed Ron Paul to speak on security issues for as long as they did.  Paul is the GOP foil to common sense when discussing security issues. Ron Paul believes that we have no right to intervene in the nuclear exploits of Iran, or any other nation for that matter, even when those exploits have been clearly undertaken to destroy Israel and eventually the United States. Paul says the Patriot Act goes against our civil liberties, in spite of the fact that Newt made the clear distinction between those Americans who are tried for criminal acts, versus terrorists who are at war with America. After hearing Paul's pacifistic arguments, it became clear that his ideas are good on paper, but not in the real world; not in a world where Islamic nations see Western nations as infidels who must be converted or killed in the name of Allah.

The Constitution will be useless if there are no Americans to enjoy its tenets, and if we allow Iran to continue on its present course, that is exactly what will happen--Iran said so and I see no reason to not believe them. They want the Jews and Christians dead because their 'holy book' calls for death to the infidels.

Did Jon Huntsman impress you in this debate? He impressed me, mostly as an arrogant liberal RINO. Like Obama, Huntsman says nothing better than anyone else. He almost never answers the actual questions he is asked.  On Greta Susteren, Martha MacCallum, (who was filling in for Greta), asked him how he felt  about those who are campaigning that have little or no experience (read Herman Cain), with foreign affairs. In answer to the question, Huntsman spoke about the glory of America and yadda yadda, and hit his talking points like the martian he appears to be. Even Martha tried to get him to focus on her question, but Huntsman, ever the politician, skirted it with the adroitness of a ballerina. Thus, one can be certain that a vote for Huntsman is a vote for something, I suppose, but maybe not.

The only problem Newt had in the debate was with his response about immigration. He seems to have softened on the idea of deporting illegal aliens, and his reasoning, while rational, will not bode well for him in Iowa where they are tough on those who enter our country illegally. Newt was being humane but sounded too liberal to those on the right who are fed up with having their tax money go to programs sponsoring these people. I think Newt was trying to appeal to the greater majority and to the notion that deporting millions of illegal aliens isn't practical, and this is the only area where I generally agree with Ron Paul., who feels that if you take away all of their benefits and employment opportunities, they will leave on their own. Call it the Field of Dream Acts gone home.  But everything else about Paul rubs me the wrong way--even the way he stands at the podium, like a boy who just had his lunch money taken from him by Rick Perry. He definitely has his fans in the audience-and by fans, I mean fanatics--they cheer on his every word like he was a rock star. For me, I suspect there's a reason he's no longer practicing medicine, and that is probably a good thing to those who might have used him as a physician.

Herman Cain sounded like someone who was briefed about foreign policy but cut the class a little too early in the semester. He appeared to run out of knowledge too quickly, and tended to repeat himself on issues. You can't cram for president, I believe. But Herman remains likeable and this is more important to those of us who know little about current events and more about lunch and recess. Pizza for lunch is always welcome.

Mitt was, well, Mitt. His answers were relevant and conservative, although he has conservatives worried that if elected, he might teeter to the left.  I like that he is clear in his stand on seeing Israel as an ally, and how we cannot be friends with our foes and foes with our friends. I appreciate how Mitt seems clear about going against the current presidential policy of being a jerk to Israel and buddies to Islamic theocracies that oppress everything from women to gays. Well, they don't actually oppress gays, they just kill them. He is also quite clear about intervening with Iran if they get a nuclear weapon.

Rick Santorum always sounds okay but looks like Dudley Dooright with intestinal cramps. He always seems to strain with every question and labor with every response. He will never get elected and neither will Jon Huntsman, who, I might add, speaks Chinese (how inscrutable).

So, who won the debate? Who knows?  It's up to the majority of us who saw it. For me, I like Newt, and I don't care that he has a sordid past. A president isn't a Sunday School teacher, although you wouldn't know that if you came from Mars, like Huntsman. I also like Bachmann because she knows a thing or two about defense, spending for defense, and the purpose for our foreign aid to Pakistan and others. I don't fully disagree with Perry who would cut all money to Pakistan, because we do use them for intelligence to some degree. But giving foreign aid to China and Russia is unconscienable, and probably something Ron Paul would do out of the kindness of his heart .  .  .  if he only had a brain.

The Next Liberal Attack

"All ready on the right. All ready on the left.  All ready on the firing line. Watch your targets .  .  .  dog targets! Commence fire."

And all liberal "guns" are aimed at Newt Gingrich and begin to fire; it's inevitable. Of course, while the GOP campaign will also create targets amongst Republicans, it will be the Democrats with fists full of feces to hurl at the campaigners. The charge will be led by the media--they are the spokespeople for the Obama campaign and are as biased as a fanatical terrorist.  But this is a good thing.

The fact that liberals and the lame stream media will attack the top running candidate(s) will inoculate them for what will come down the road to the White House. Newt Gingrich's extra marital junk is already out there, Cain's false accusations have seen the light of day, and the Perry and Bachmann gaffes and blunders, along with Cain's, is old news to a public with short memories.

So I predict the media is going to go full bore into Newt. They will leave Ron Paul alone because he's more of a RHINO than the rest of the gang. In fact, Paul would be an asset to the DemocRATS if he were nominated, but we would have a better chance of catching Bill Clinton having sex with Nancy Pelosi in a congressional washroom than having Ron Paul as the next president of the United States of America.

Just sayin'

Super Duper Committee Pooper

Super Committee, or not so super? They have until tonight to get their acts together. It's very difficult to get work done when people like John Kerry, or Mr. Hair, are out of touch with the masses and believe that taxing them is a good thing for the debt crisis.  Easy for Kerry to say--he inherited his fortune by fortunately marrying his wealthy wife. He says "We're not the tax cut committee," but perhaps that is what he should be thinking of being since that seems to be the only way to turn this economy around. Keynsian economics is as useful as a Dewey button. Kerry says Republicans are not willing to give up tax cuts on the wealthiest Americans, but the truth is, we need to reform our tax code and replace it with a dynamic code.

Kerry honored by Comrade Do Muoi at Communist War Museum
Kerry, if you recall, was the self-made "hero" in the Vietnam Swiftboat scandal. Self-made, in Kerry's case, is the way in which he was awarded those Purple Hearts and Silver Star--he wrote the report himself. After serving a terrifying four months in Vietnam, and due to his incredible lack of military leadership, he became a hero in his own mind. In spite of the fact that several hundred swiftboat sailors denied Kerry's heroics, he somehow got away with it--perhaps it had something to do with the fact that he was a flaming liberal and the media is in love with liberals.
Kerry & Hanoi Jane
Kerry was born in Aurora, Colorado and attended boarding schools in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. He then went to Yale, where he majored in political science and enlisted in the Naval Reserve in 1966. (You may recall, the Naval Reserve only allowed sailors over six feet tall to enlist--Kerry is 6 feet 4 inches--this is due to the fact that if a Naval Reserve is sunk by the enemy, the crew can walk ashore . . . just kidding.) In a four month tour in South Vietnam, from 1968-1969, Kerry was the Officer In Charge of a Swift Boat and gave himself the Silver Star, Bronze Star, and no less than three Purple Hearts for bravery above and beyond the call of a liberal. After returning to the safety of the United States, Kerry joined the Vietnam Veterans Against the War, which would later be called "Occupy Wall Street." Kerry became their nationally recognized spokescoward, as he proudly turned his back on his Navy brothers and his country. This won him favor with the Democratic party, as one can well imagine, and when he appeared before the Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs (which, fortunately for him, left out the affairs he had in his marital career), the Democrats got tingles up their collective bargaining legs when he deemed his superiors to be "war criminals."
Super Committee?

Kerry's first wife left him due to severe depression which, under the circumstances, is totally understandable. In 1990, at an Earth Day rally, (no kidding), he was introduced to Teresa Heinz, the ketchup princess and widow of Pennsylvania Senator, H. John Heinz III, a Republican.  H.J. introduced Kerry to Teresa but they did not meet again until H.J. died in 1992.  Knowing what a good financial catch Teresa was, the giggolo in him couldn't help it--he pursued her for an easier lifestyle.  Teresa is purported to have as much as 3 billion George Washingtons in her bank account, which she shares with her Occupy supporter husband, John Swift Boat Kerry.

Edwards after wife died
Kerry's presidential run in 2004 was on an anti-Iraq war platform. He ran with co-slimeball, John Edwards, who cheated on his dying wife, Elizabeth, and fathered a child with his mistress, Nancy Pelosi (there I go kidding again). Luckily, for America, Kerry and Edwards lost by 34 electoral votes and liberty and freedom prevailed. To learn more about Kerry and Edwards, go to Google and search for "Political Scumbags."

Weekend at Barry's and Mental Whack-a-Mole

Saef isn't safe anymore
Saef Ghadaffi, (or however he plans to spell his name to sell his book, if he isn't shot and beheaded before he gets the chance) has been caught. We know his captors will treat him with the same dignity and respect they treated his fashion plate dad, Moammar That's-My-Buttskin-On-My-Face Ghadaffy. Remember how Saef's finger-pointing into the camera pissed you off when this all started? Remember how he said he would fight to the death to keep power in the hands of his dad and his family? Remember his smirky grin as he spewed his venom on those who refused to do what Obama did for his country--bow down to royalty?

Do you see the similarities of Saef's passion for power and that of BO's? Notice how Saef did not fight to the death as he promised, nor did BO, who agreed to leave office if, by his third year, the budget hadn't improved.  In fact, BO has been campaigning for his second term ever since he was sworn in for his first. But that's politics and that's why so many good people are avoiding getting into the game.
Newt knows

Newt Gingrich has moved up in the polls. He is slowly convincing the nation that having a grown-up at the helm isn't such a bad thing. It certainly beats having a socialist. Okay, we all know Newt has had a past that one never finds in children's stories and nursery rhymes--maybe you'll find his behavior mentioned in a limerick or two--but who cares? Who amongst us is totally free from sin-and of those of us who are now free, we got there by confessing and truly wanting to change ourselves. Newt has done that; Bill Clinton, Anthony Weiner, Barney Frank, Nancy Pelosi, Van Jones, and myriad more politicians, have not. Even a few Republicans, I might add.

But according to the lame stream media, Bill's behavior was just a case of men-will-be-men shenanigans, while the alleged behavior of Herman Cain, all coming from the Chicago smear machine, was a black mark (you should excuse the expression) against him. Will Cain recover? I don't think so--it will be hard to raise Cain to a viable position. What strikes me as jinky, is the claim made by the fourth woman, Sharon Bialek.  If she didn't live in Chicago I might have wondered about the truth to her claim. But not only does she live in the Windy City, she lives in the SAME FREAKING BUILDING as David I'm-Barry's-Biggest-Fan Axelrod! Now that makes me wonder whether Dave made a deal with her to lie, but hey, they never do that in Chicago, right? If you don't believe me, go ask Rahm Emmanuel.
"I honestly love you . . . "

Mitt Romney, while real conservatives don't cotton to him like they do to real conservatives, is maintaining his marathon pace and picking 'em up and layin' them down. He's still polling in the 20s and seems to be a good second choice for many.

I heard that Ron Paul has just returned from Deneb, the brightest star in the constellation Cygnus, and plans to withdraw from the--wait--no, he plans to run in spite of the fact that he has as much of a chance of winning as Obama has of running our country out of debt. Paul continues to insist that Iran is just another nation that simply wants to mind its own business and be left alone until such time it sets out to destroy the world as we know it. Wait, he never admitted that, did he? Ronny is too naive to be our president. Maybe he should be Surgeon General, if he still has a license to practice medicine.

She's no Nancy Pelosi
Michele Bachmann is actually doing worse than Crazy Ron, and that's too bad. She actually has a realistic outlook on national security, and holds true conservative values that she honestly believes in, rather than just uses for personal political gain. But perhaps that is her downfall.

Mirror mirror on the wall
Rick Perry, if he wins the nomination, will win because he smells like bacon, coffee, and gun powder. He seems to finally have it together, but it may be too late in the race for his final kick. I believe he still has a better chance of getting the nod than Paul has of scoring with Nancy Pelosi. But hey, you never know.

Rick Santorum and Jon Huntsman ought to be out looking for work--maybe they are refusing because they don't want Obama's jobs numbers to improve; but judging from BO's refusal to partner with Canada on the pipeline, it looks like he doesn't care about job numbers either. Doesn't Santorum look like he's sucking on a lemon or that someone took his kiddy car away? Huntsman always looks like he's smarter than you and only he knows it.

I'm Responsible, But It Isn't My Fault

His sideline: DC Symphony Conductor
Poor Eric Holder and Steven Chu. They admit they should have known what was going on prior to the screwups of their respective departments, but Eric said he never read the emails he received about operation Fast and Furious, and Steve just never knew what the hell was going on with Solyndra, even though he was responsible for lending them nearly half a billion George Washingtons.

Steve admits that he`s no politician, just some simple physicist with a Nobel Prize, like Barack O, and Yassar Arafat, just not the same category. Steve even admitted that the deal with Solyndra was, in hindsight, "regrettable," and "extremely unfortunate." He knew this even without being a politician and we need to give him kudos for that. But after the House sub-committee hearing, where he was asked questions that the left media referred to as "hostile," the hearing chairman Rep. Cliff Stearns, R-Fla., said that Steve should be canned.

While Steve Chu took responsibility for the 2009 loan to the solar panel company, he stated that he was unaware of Solyndra's financial problems, and did not know many of the details of the loan itself, (like how the Obama cronies were put ahead of the American taxpayers for loan repayment should it default). Doesn't Steve kind of remind you of Sheldon from the Big Bang Theory on a date with a hot woman who wants him, but he's too smart (as a physicist, not as a normal person) to catch her signals? Well, Steve seems to fall into the nerd category, so we must forgive his half a bill blunder.
His finger in the cookie jar, sort of

Eric Holder is another story, but a similar story at that. He supposedly led an entire department that oversaw an illegal gun operation; an operation that went across international borders, walking guns into the hands of straw buyers, and then into the hands of Mexican drug cartels.  Somehow his department kept him, the head of the DoJ, out of the loop. Oh, Eric admits they sent him emails, he had to admit it because they found them on his computer, but he never read them. He also never read the Policy and Procedure Manual of the DoJ, which directs the Director to read his emails, so, hey, what the heck. All is forgiven because we're just the peons of America, paying the taxes, your enormous salaries, hoping you would do your jobs of protecting us, and keeping our infrastructure in good condition. But you have done none of that. You have taken our trust, our money, and our safety, and you have compromised it all, because of your greed.

Have a nice day, guys.

What Obama Fails to Do for the USA

I solemnly swear my loyalty to the greatest nation on earth, and to the symbols that represent this nation.

I further promise that I will, to my death, defend this nation, whose government is elected by the people through a majority, and containing colonies, which form one nation standing unified and will never be divided; and having an ecumenical spiritual understanding of a supreme being that guides our laws.

I will defend this nation of which I speak, to preserve its freedom from external or foreign rule; its freedom from control, interference, obligation and providing its people the right of doing, thinking, speaking and the like, in accordance with the notion of personal choice.

In other words: I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

Is Obama Transparent or Translucent or Trans---?

When he was campaigning for King of the Country, Barack Obama did not use his middle name--it's Hussein and it's Muslim, and he didn't want to be associated with the religion of peace. After he was elected and was being sworn in, however, he insisted that his middle name be included in the swearing in ceremony--it was too late for the country to do anything about it, as far as he was concerned.

Hussein promised the American people that his presidency was going to be different. His presidency would be totally transparent and there would be no secrets from the American public. Well, he was right about one thing--his presidency is different, but Hussein Obama is the least transparent, most socialist president, this country has ever elected. We know nothing much of his education, who paid for it, why he had a Muslim father, Muslim step-father and why he doesn't consider himself a Muslim, even though he was registered in his Kenyan school as such.

We questioned his place of birth and it took agonizing months before he produced his birth papers (this was not an actual birth certificate, but simply a proof of birth). I suspect he was born in Hawaii as he claims, but it doesn't matter--he acts as if he was born in a Muslim country and that's good enough for me to think he's seditious.

We know both his biological parents were staunch communists. His step-father was also a commie, and his early childhood heroes were commies as well. His policies are quite left of left, but he does not openly avow communism, possibly because even the leftists who love him might have second thoughts--at least those on the left actually capable of thinking for themselves.

We know that several associations, like CAIR and others with affiliations to the Muslim Brotherhood have contributed to his 2008 campaign, and that he was the first American president to ever bow down to a king--Abdullah of Saudi Arabia--and that he did nothing but support the Muslim Brotherhood's efforts in Egypt, Lybia, and Syria to take over politically and spread sharia law throughout these nations. Also, Hussein does nothing to help the persecuted non-Muslims in Africa and other nations of the world, and sits back as Coptic churches are being torched, and Christians being killed in Lebanon, Syria, and the like. We also know that Hussein wants to have a "sit down" with the Muslim Brotherhood, an Islamic organization whose charter calls for the destruction of America and our way of life, from within.

We know that Hussein is friends with Bill Ayers and his wife, Bernadette Dohrn, both terrorists who were leaders of the Weather Underground back in the 1960's. We know that Hussein was close to Reverend Jeremiah Wright, an anti-Semite, socialist, misfit. Hussein also was a BFF with Louis Farrakhan, exalted leader of the Nation of Islam, anti-Semite extraordinaire, and basic scumbag. Both Wright and Farrakhan visited the White House no less than three times since Hussein was king.

We know that Hussein's Attorney General, Eric Holder, either had knowledge, or should have had knowledge of Fast and Furious, an illegal gun-walking operation that got a border agent, Brian Terry, killed with a gun that the DEA, in concert with the DoJ, allowed to get into the hands of  straw buyers and then be sold to the Mexican drug cartel. Hussein backs Holder, claims he's innocent, and has helped in stonewalling the investigation, which is currently underway.

What we don't know is who Hussein really is--not his religion or place of birth--because even if he isn't a Kenyan Muslim, he does nothing as president of the United States of America, that a Muslim would not do. He is dividing the nation and undermining our very fabric of freedom. He is becoming more and more obvious in his socialist decisions--even to the point that Rick Perry, (the Texas Governor and a GOP candidate for the presidency of 2012), is calling him out on it.

What we don't know is what Hussein's social life was like before he married a woman. He has no ex-girlfriends of record, and some men have come forward to say that he's gay and had a relationship with them. Perhaps he is gay, perhaps he isn't--what's important is the lie of transparency.

And the only way a person can get away with this seditious behavior in America is with  media support. The media has fully lost its sense of responsibility to honest journalism, and has become Hussein's campaign information transmitter. Idiots like Chris Matthews get "tingles running down [my] leg," whenever he thinks of Obama.
Matthews: fair & unbiased? You make the call

It's time for all of us to communicate what we see as the truth to as many people as we can--blog it, speak it, but get it out there--this is the only weapon we have against the liberal bias in America. Do it before we lose freedom of speech and press.

If you are interested in terrorism and suspense, I have provided 2 links (below) for a hard copy (soft cover) edition and an eBook edition of my latest novel, Jihad Joe.  It's a story about Zed Nill, a New York based reporter, taken hostage by Islamic terrorists.  He must escape, or be beheaded the following day . . . the clock is ticking.

Jihadi Mamdani’s Definition of “Socialism” Is Actually State-Controlled Totalitarianism
