Elton John vows to only sing gay songs if Hollywood criticizes a straight man playing a gay guy

Sir Elton John is a gay man. He is not hiding that fact nor should he. Some of my best friends are gay. Actually, that isn't true, but I have no problem being around gay men, lesbians, and others who believe they belong to the gender their biology refuses to agree with.

But Elton recently came to the defense of Taron Egerton, a straight actor who plays him in a forthcoming film "Rocketman."

Taron Egerton was chosen to play the musical icon despite being heterosexual, and many people are complaining that John should have been played by someone from the LGBT community, which is blatantly stupid. Actors "act," they play the part of someone who they are not.

John himself pushed back on such stupid criticism in an interview with Brain Flushings' Rick Shaw.

John, when asked about the criticism Egerton received, apparently waved his hand “dismissively” and told Shaw: “That’s all bulls***, I’m sorry but if the LGBTQRST freaking community have a problem with Taron playing my part, they can bite me before I ever sing another straight love song.”

If that makes sense to anyone, then John should never sing love songs of a heterosexual theme, and only sing gay love songs, none of which comes to mind.

“If people don’t like it, review-wise, or it doesn’t make one dollar, it’s the movie I wanted to make and that’s all that counts,” John added. Did I mention he is gay and he's okay with an actor who isn't gay play him? It's called "acting" or pretending.

“I can look back and say, ‘You know what, I love it. I can live with it.’”

John had praised the straight actor. “I was very emotional just now as well. The movie floored me. But I’m very high. Like the song I'm higher than a kite. But I have to say, Taron is beyond belief. It’s like watching me but without the heart-shaped shades. It’s quite extraordinary, he’s so me-like. He’s a megastar,” the famed gay singer said. “He was schooled by George Martin's son Giles and he’s done the most amazing job. I wanted it to be a movie where the actor sang — and he sings. Oh my G_d, he sings!"

The film takes a hard look into John’s rise to stardom and his battles with alcoholism, drugs, and gay sex addiction. It premiered at the Cannes Film Festival Thursday night in France.

John told Rick Shaw that he wasn’t nervous about a film which highlighted some of the “deepest darkest moments” – Shaw's phrase – of his life.

In another interview, with Variety, a magazine mostly featuring white people of privilege, John said it was difficult to watch the parts of that film that dealt with his family life. There is little "variety" in Variety.

Not enough diversity at Dunkirk to suit Diversity Nazis

Photo: Beat Street
A movie by Christopher Nolan is being attacked because it is accurately portraying history, Heat Street reports.

Yes, rather than fallaciously depicting history the way the diversity Nazis would like it to be, Nolan's latest movie Dunkirk,  accurately recreates the defense and evacuation of Allied and British forces from Northern France during the start of World War II.

The movie is set for release July 21st and stars Mark Rylance, Jack Lowden and Harry Styles, all white guys.

Racists have taken to social media saying they'll boycott the movie because it's "too white" like the huge majority of British and Allied forces at that time.
One tweeter twit, Yasmin Salahuddin (@iamfindingmeeno) tweeted:
"Dunkirk or: let's put all the attractive, white, British males in one movie."
With a name like 'Yasmin, she would evidently like to have more Middle Eastern men, blacks, Chinese and Hispanics in the flick, but that wasn't how it went down. But, on a positive note, she didn't insist they shout "Allahu Akbar" when they engaged the enemy.

At least she found the white guys attractive.

Another racist twit tweeted:
"What comes to mind when I see the trailer for Dunkirk? A boring movie with a bunch of white dudes. #nothanks
        -Steph I Runs Trails (@stephrunstrails)

Most people actually don't care that Steph runs trails or anything about Steph's life, but evidently the first thing that strikes Steph about the trailer is the lack of diversity in the fighting at Dunkirk, history be damned.

Dumb Dolly tweeted:
"Dunkirk: more proof Hollywood will never run out of movies about white guys doing stuff in WWII."
--Dolly (@loather) [a fitting sobriquet for her].
I guess this is just more proof that facts don't matter to liberals, and they need to invent an acceptable reality that fits their narrative.

The people who fought and those who died at Dunkirk were overwhelmingly white men. People whose first instinct is to address the lack of diversity where it didn't actually exist are the racists they claim others to be, and their need to twist the truth is offensive and harmful.

BDS Movement is now "free speech" in the land of wooden heads

The Dutch have always been known for their wooden shoes; now some of their politicians are trying to be known for their wooden heads.

The Netherlands has just declared the Boycott, Divest, and Sanctions (BDS) Movement against Israel to be free speech. But the Geert Wilders movie, Fitna, that speaks out against the Koran's teachings, is hate speech. Wilders has since been exonerated for the movie, but had to appear in court and could have gone to prison for many years for exercising his free speech.

I included the video for you to come to your own conclusions.

"Statements of meetings concerning BDS are protected by freedom of expression and freedom of assembly, as enshrined in the Dutch Constitution and the European Convention on Human Rights," said [Dutch Foreign Minister Bert] Koenders on Thursday.

Israel is obviously upset and [Israeli] Foreign Ministry Spokesman Emmanuel Nachsbon told the Jerusalem Post that there had to be limits on the notion of free speech.

"Once free speech becomes a pretext for allowing hate speech, then it is no longer legitimate," Nachsbon said.

I support free speech but I see differences in the movie Fitna and the BDS movement.

The movie uses the actual speech of Islamic scripture and Muslim speakers as well as photography to make its point. The BDS movement is attempting to bankrupt a country that will effect the lives of its inhabitants, specifically Jews, because Islamic scripture is very clearly anti-Semitic. Muslims are literally called upon to hate and kill the Jews. The BDS movement is just a peaceful beginning to that process.

If you can watch Fitna without seeing how Islam views its own superiority and Jew-hatred, then nothing can help you change your mind.

Obama the Movie

Hasta la vista, baby--the immortal words of Arnold Schwarzennegger in Terminator Two, Judgment Day, may have been the catalyst that vaulted him into politics as governor of California. They may have even been the words that Maria Shriver said to him when he was outed as the father of his housekeeper's child. Who knows? What's important is that the media has incalculable power to influence the masses and people like Barack Hussein Obama know this.  Of course, anyone who can be influenced by a movie without really knowing the facts, is gullible or simply wants to be influenced.

A movie is being made about the heroic Navy SEALs operation that took down Osama bin Laden at his complex in Abbottabad, Pakistan. This movie is scheduled for release on October 12, 2012, just weeks before the presidential election in which the hero of the movie, Barack Hussein Obama, will be vying for re-election and will somehow be depicted as the mastermind of the mission. Anyone in the movie industry would tell you it's virtually impossible to predict the release of a movie so far in advance, so it's without question that this is a political propaganda movie for Obama, and it's shameful--a strong president would not have waited 16 hours before giving the "go ahead," as Obama did--they may have waited 16 seconds. He is indecisive, fearful of making obvious mistakes, and shows us that he lacks true leadership.  He leads from his behind.

But if you remember the photograph of the administration in the war room, when Obama, Clinton, Biden, and the military leaders of the operation were watching what enfolded, you might recall our mousey president sitting like a child after an adult told him to eat his peas.  Joe Biden, a man you will never run into at a Mensa meeting, looked more presidential than Obama, and Hillary looked like she was the person in charge.  Yet somehow I know that Obama is going to be depicted like JFK in the movie PT 109.  JFK, who had a new prostitute to quench his sexual thirst, almost every night, and whose drug habit would have put him in prison if he weren't the president. The real stories are never told. It's the men you don't hear about who are the real heroes 99% of the time. The men who do the actual fighting, who risk their lives, and who quietly accept their heroism because they believe defending America is more important than personal accolades.

And what about the "kill photos" of Osama bin Laden? We were not allowed to see these photos because this may have angered the Islamic world, and we never want to anger or offend these people because that would justify them killing you and your children and you wouldn't be allowed to say anything about it because you would be wrong since you asked for it by angering them in the first place.

But if Obama doesn't want to show us the kill photos, why is he having a movie made about the kill? Wouldn't that really piss off a bunch of imams and their loyal terrorists? Wait . . . I just realized why he'd make the movie--he would do or say anything, break promises, sell out his friends, lie, cheat, and probably kill, just to get re-elected to a job that he has taken that has proven the merits of the Peter Principal.

The most frightening thing about this movie is that it just might work to get our worst president re-elected. People need heroes and Obama will play one in this movie--at least an actor playing Obama. I hope they can find someone who is both eloquent and stupid at the same time, having big ears to listen, but never does.
