Sgt. Adi Baruch's boyfriend proposed to her at her funeral

Adi Baruch in uniform on her way to Sderot

A young female Israeli reservist, Sgt. Adi Baruch, 23, was killed in Sderot by Hamas terrorists. Jewish dead are supposed to be buried within a day when possible. She had been killed on October 13th but was buried two days later. [H/T Times of Israel.]

As her funeral came to an end, her boyfriend, Nevo Yanai, approached her grave holding a white ring box. He kneeled by the grave in the cemetery in the town of Barkan in Samaria on October 15th and proposed to Adi, who had been a wedding photographer, before the terrorists struck.

Yanai had purchased the engagement ring several weeks earlier and was waiting for the right time to propose to her. She was his high school sweetheart and has served as a former operations sergeant and was serving as a reservist in Sderot. She had insisted her unit commanders draft her to serve again following the October 7th Hamas slaughter of 1,400 Jewish civilians.

“I just needed to hear myself propose to her,” Yanai told Channel 13 after the funeral. “I looked at her, at her grave, I told her about our life together and how from a very young age, she stole my heart,” he said.

Among the Hamasshole's first victims were hundreds of young adults at a desert music festival near the border with Gaza when the sneak attack occurred. The terrorists hunted the Israelis down, perpetrating barbaric atrocities, as they progressed toward kibbutzim, villages and cities near Gaza.

About 2,000 Hamas terrorists participated in the incursion and slaughter, and about 220 hostages were also taken including babies as young as 9 months, women and elderly as old as 85.

Since the sneak attack by the terrorists, the IDF responded immediately. Over 6,000 Palestinian human shields have died in Hamas targeted areas. The key is, if the number of those who die in collateral damage is fewer than those who might have died had Hamas not been neutralized, then it is perfectly acceptable.

Israel agrees that it needs to follow international law, and Israel is following international law. But why aren't the members of Congress' so called Squad holding Hamas up to the same expectations?

On Wednesday, 27 Chabad rabbis from the United States who are visiting Israel on a solidarity mission met with Baruch’s parents, Orit and Avraham, in Kiryat Netafim, a religious town near Barkan.

“We saw immediately where Adi of blessed memory got her qualities,” said Ruvi New, a Chabad rabbi of Boca Raton, Florida, referencing Adi Baruch’s parents. “Our mission here is to uplift spirits but we found ourselves being uplifted ourselves by Orit and Avraham, their faith and fortitude,” New, a 56-year-old father of 10, told The Times of Israel.

Orit Baruch, Adi's mother, told the visiting rabbis about her daughter. Yanai, her grieving would-be fiancĂ©, wanted to leave the ring with Adi’s parents, Orit told the rabbis. But she asked him to keep it, “recover emotionally and find another woman to start a family with,” rabbi New said, quoting the bereaved mother.

Adi Baruch sent her mother a picture of herself smiling while wearing her uniform as she headed down to Sderot. She was satisfied that her lobbying with her unit resulted in a draft order conscripting her.

Avi, her father, who was also drafted, had proposed she sit out the fighting. She replied: “You did not raise me to sit it out here,” the parents recalled while meeting with the rabbis.

Anyone siding with Hamas in this war, is an evil anti-Semite who has no problem with the barbaric killing of Jewish people. Some of those people actually consider themselves Christians, and almost all of them are on the far left.

DAY 10: Israel Under Attack

There is no equivalence between Israel and Hamas. And make no mistake about it, this is a religious war for Hamas.

Early Monday morning, Tel Aviv, Ashkelon, Ashdod, Sheba, Sderot, and communities along the Gaza border were under rocket attack. It got to the point that the Knesset, where Netanyahu spoke today, had to end abruptly and take shelter due to a rocket attack.

Hamas stole medical supplies and fuel from the UNRWA agency in the war zone. Hamas claims to hold 200 hostages with another 50 hostages being held by another Islamic group.

Mossad is calling for the closing of Al Jazeera bureau in Israel due to the danger that exists as thousands of Gazans are still trying to flee northern Gaza as Israel gave them more time to leave as Hamas is blocking roads in order to stop them. They are even taking the car keys of civilians to keep them in place in order to use them as dead propaganda props.

Water has been restored to South Gaza. It was originally stopped in order for Hamas to release the hostages they took, but the Hamassholes would rather let the Gazan citizens die of thirst, so Israel did the humane thing.

Exercises are being conducted by the IDF to prepare forces to enter Gaza.

Rumor has it that President Biden may visit Israel Wednesday or Friday and it is hoped he will know where he is when he arrives, if he actually goes there.

The US has sent two aircraft carrier fighter groups to the area, the Gerald R. Ford and the Eisenhower. Each group has the capability of leveling an entire town.

Some have called for Israel to respond to Hamas with a proportional response. This means they will have to take the same number of hostages of the same ages and genders of those Hamas took, kill the same number of young people at a dance festival [good luck with that], shoot up areas ion Gaza and kill whole families, mutilate women, children and babies, some need to be burned, some simply beheaded, to effect a proportional response.

Proportional response? WTF!

Nearly all Gaza civilian casualties in latest conflict killed by Palestinian rockets

Most of the deaths of Gaza civilians were the result of errant rocket fire from the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, not by the Israeli air strikes over the weekend. No other country in the world takes as much pain and precaution to limit so-called collateral damage, as does Israel.

“There were more Palestinian casualties from failed rocket launches than IDF attacks,” the army said in a statement. “Some 900 rockets crossed into Israeli territory; 830 of them were intercepted by the Iron Dome for a success rate of over 95%.”

According to Palestinian figures cited by the Jerusalem Post, a total of 35 Palestinians in Gaza were killed during the 66-hour Operation Breaking Dawn.

Of the 35, nine were terrorists, all affiliated with Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ). According to the IDF, Israeli airstrikes blew away the terror group’s top commanders.

Of the 26 civilians killed, 16 were killed by misfiring PIJ rockets. PIJ and Hamas keep rocket launchers, weapons storage sites, terror tunnels and command and control facilities in close proximity to civilian homes, schools, health care centers and mosques because they know the IDF will not target them as they are in civilian areas. But the PIJ targets civilian areas, even schools and places of worship with impunity.

Many Gazans have expressed anger at PIJ for killing civilians and embedding itself in populated areas. These people are known as "normal individuals."

In one particular incident, five children were killed when a PIJ rocket struck a home in Jabaliya on Saturday night. The Palestinians sought to blame Israel, but the IDF released footage showing a barrage of rockets being fired from the Strip. One can be seen falling shortly after the launch. [see video below]

Nine hundred rockets flew into Israel over the weekend. Of these, 610 landed harmlessly into the sea or in open areas; 380 were intercepted by Iron Dome, a defense system. No Israelis were killed by PIJ rocket fire but over 100 properties suffered damage, according to Israel’s Tax Authority.

Israel struck 170 targets, including senior PIJ leaders, terror tunnels and weapons facilities, the IDF reported.

The shooting began in Gaza when Israel arrested Basam al-Saadi, the PIJ's chief of operations in Judea and Samaria, on Monday night in Jenin.

Saadi “worked even harder to restore PIJ activities, and was behind the creation of a significant military force for the organization in [Samaria] in general and in Jenin in particular,” the Shin Bet security agency said.

Of course Israel was going to arrest him if they could get their hands on him, and they did.

So they got ready for retaliation from Gaza and closed roads and train service near the Gaza Strip and went on high alert, expecting rocket fire and sniper attacks on civilians, because that is how they roll. Gaza terror groups have previously fired guided anti-tank missiles into Israel as well.

Israeli airstrikes began on Friday afternoon when the PIJ showed no signs of backing down from its threats of revenge.

An Egyptian-brokered truce went into effect on Sunday night. On Monday morning, Israel began opening roads near the Strip and resumed train service between Sderot and Ashkelon.

Israel expects Gaza escalation after arresting senior Jihadi leader Bassem Saadi

Israeli soldiers block roads near the Gaza border, Aug. 2, 2022.

Israel is on high alert after an overnight operation ending in the arrest of Bassem Saadi, Palestinian Islamic Jihad's highest ranking scumcrumpet in Judea and Samaria of Old Testament fame.

To deal with the probable retaliation that may follow, Israeli authorities shut down highways and train service on Tuesday morning near the Gaza border after IDF personnel arrested Saadi in Jenin. The measures were implemented after an IDF situational assessment saw an increase in sneaky activity by PIJ terrorists in Gaza which the military labeled “a direct threat of a possible attack on Israeli civilians.”

Bassem Saadi, 62, has been described as the PIJ’s most senior figure in all of Judea and Samaria. He was arrested along with his son-in-law, Ashraf al-Jada, who is also a PIJ operative. Saadi had previously spent time in Israeli prison but the rehabilitation classes obviously didn't stick.

Clashes broke out during the Monday night raid which resulted in one jihadi Palestinian teen being killed and no IDF soldiers hurt.

Saadi

The Israeli security agency Shin Bet said that Saadi “was behind the creation of a significant military force of the organization in Samaria in general and in Jenin in particular.”  They added that “his presence was a significant factor in the radicalization of the organization’s operatives in the field.”

Several weapons were seized: a handgun, ammunition and shekels galore, [not the Israeli nightclub dancer known as Shekels Galore but actual cash].

The IDF’s ongoing Operation Break the Wave [not to be confused with the Mafia's operation known as "Break Their Balls"] has targeted Palestinian terror groups in Jenin. During a seven-week period earlier this year, 19 Israeli Jews were killed in a wave of attacks, most of which came from the Jenin area.

In response, the PIJ announced it had raised its level of readiness in Gaza while Hamas warned the arrest would provoke an escalation in attacking Jews. Egyptian intelligence officials are holding talks with the Gaza terror groups in hopes of averting an escalation, Haaretz reported.

Israel’s high alert stems not only from concern for Gaza rocket fire but sniper attacks on civilian men, women and children as well. The terror group is known to possess anti-tank guided missiles and several of them figured out how to use them.

Train service between Ashkelon and Sderot was cancelled, and police blocked public access to sites overlooking Gaza as well as the Zikim Beach. Also closed off were access roads used by farmers.

Finally, the Erez Border crossing where Palestinian workers cross into Israel was closed to lower the probability they will do their best to kill Jewish Israelis.

Classes at the Sapir College [Go! Kosher Kamels!] in Sderot were held online, and the IDF bolstered its deployment of their defensive Iron Dome batteries.

Gaza Islamists fire rockets into Israel after a jihadi leader is killed

Baha Abu el-Atta will no longer be scheming to kill Israelis now that he has joined his fellow martyrs eternally cavorting with their assigned virgins in Jannah after the Israeli Air Force blew him to smithereens along with his wife.

In response to the justice served, jihadis in Gaza fired over 100 rockets into the town of Sderot Tuesday morning. The militants vowed further revenge, as if they needed an excuse to kill Jews.

“The response to this crime will have no limits,” Islamic Jihad said in a statement.

Of course, it was no crime to impose the death penalty on the person who has been responsible for imposing the death penalty on people living in Israel while being Jewish.

The airstrike killed el-Atta and his wife in their home in eastern Gaza, according to Lt. Col. Jonathan Conricus, an Israeli military spokesman. He referred to the the jihadi as a "ticking time bomb" who was responsible for the many rocket attacks on southern Israel.

Conricus said el-Atta was planning new attacks. "We essentially, over the last week, have been waiting for the opportune moment to conduct this surgical strike," he said.
Conricus explained that the airstrike only destroyed the one floor of the building in which el-Atta called home, in order to minimize "collateral damage."  The building is in the eastern part of Gaza City. to minimize "collateral damage."

In mere minutes after the Palestinian terrorists confirmed el-Atta's death, they indiscriminately fired a multitude of rockets at Israel, hoping to create "collateral damage" rather than avoiding it, sparking air raid sirens in the morning as far as Tel Aviv.

At least 100 rockets were fired at Israel and of these, about 60 were intercepted by the Iron Dome system. Fortunately, there were no Israeli casualties.

Schools were closed and citizens were asked to remain at home in those communities from the Gaza border all the way to Tel Aviv, almost 60 miles away.

At least two people were injured from the rockets, including an 8-year-old girl who is in critical condition while running to a bomb shelter, reports The Wall Street Journal.

Conricus said that Israel has no future plans to assassinate jihadi leaders, but said of el-Atta, "There was no other choice."

By mid-morning, the IDF said it made a direct hit of two Islamic jihad militants from a rocket-launching unit. The Gaza Health Ministry said a Palestinian man was killed and another wounded in the strike.

One of the rockets from Gaza hit a residential house in Netivot in southern Israel, penetrating the roof of the home, but nobody was hurt, the IDF said.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has issued a series of warnings recently about alleged Iranian aggression, while he has also been criticized by Israelis along the southern border to soft responses to recent terrorist attacks. However, his Security Cabinet was holding an emergency meeting to discuss further action which hopefully will be more forceful.

But even Netanyahu's political rival, Benny Gantz, said the airstrike was "the right decision."

A successful military operation could politically strengthen Netanyahu as he seeks to hold onto power — especially if he is indicted on corruption charges.

Calif. creep who made "kill list" of Jews pleads guilty

Identity altered to avoid any glorification
A California anti-Semite scumquat who made a "kill list" of Jews pled guilty on May 31st to threatening three houses of worship in Orange County.

The creep, 28, of Irvine, was sentenced Friday for carrying a loaded firearm [that was registered to another person] and three civil rights counts regarding threats that he made. There were additional felony threats but they were dropped.

The crap-weasel's parents contacted the cops last year when he told them he wanted to "get a gun and kill some Jews," The OC Register reported.

Yep, he tole his momma an' poppa he gonna kill himself "some of them thar funny hat-wearing Hebrews. They think they all high an' mighty with their fancy jobs n' funny hats n' all."

The scumcrumpet prepared lists of Jews he wanted to kill and threaten. He also visited a synagogue in Irvine that he wanted to attack and threatened two churches, in Irvine and Lake Forest, that had expressed sympathies for the Jewish community. He also visited those churches.

The slug was sentenced to 825 days in jail, one year in residential mental health treatment and five years’ probation.

The Jew-hater's lawyer, Brian Gurwitz, [whose name kind of sounds Jewish] said his client was suffering from mental illness. Gurwitz, however, is not a mental health expert so he was just blowing smoke into the nether regions of the judge.

I say, if you really want to help this guy, have him live in Israel for a year or more, in a home in Sderot where there's real anti-Semitic attacks on a regular basis and let him be on the receiving end of the senselessness. That just might change him.

Orange County District Attorney Todd Spitzer decried the scum's ideology in a statement.

“There is no place for hate,” Spitzer said. “He is a danger to society and every resident of Orange County should be aware of the threat he poses.”

Palestinian fatally stabs Israeli-American activist in the back

JERUSALEM -- A cowardly Palestinian assailant fatally stabbed the Israeli-American activist Ari Fuld in the back while he was walking in the street outside a busy West Bank mall.

Fuld, a U.S.-born man who was well-known in the local settler community was an outspoken Israel advocate on social media platforms.

IDF officials said the attacker arrived at the mall near a major junction in the southern West Bank, located near the Gush Etzion settlement bloc. He stabbed Fuld and ran like a scared little boy. Fuld was mortally wounded but gave chase, firing at his jihadi before collapsing. Other civilians shot the scumquat, identified as a 17-year-old POS from a nearby Palestinian village. He is reportedly in moderate condition, but Fuld is dead.

Fuld, 45, was the father of four and lived in nearby Efrat. He was evacuated to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.

He was a well-known English-language internet commenter on current affairs and a weekly Torah lesson. He was well known for a hard-line nationalist ideology and was a strong supporter of the Israeli military (IDF).

Settler spokesman Josh Hasten, who had known Fuld for about a decade, said his friend traveled widely to showcase “the beauty and reality of life” in Israel.

Fuld delivered care packages to Israeli soldiers and went on solidarity trips to communities near the Gaza Strip during times of fighting with the Hamas militant group, Hasten said.

“When the rockets were falling, that’s when he would get in his car and go down to Sderot,” Hasten said.

Fuld also was known for his verbal clashes with Palestinians as well as critics of Israel that could land him in trouble. His Facebook account was suspended at various times.

“He did not hold back on his opinions,” Hasten said. “If that meant 30 days of Facebook jail, so be it.”

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke highly of Fuld on Facebook for fighting his attacker “heroically” and remembered him as “an advocate for Israel who fought to spread the truth.”

On Twitter, David Friedman, the U.S. ambassador to Israel and a strong supporter of the settlements, called him “a passionate defender of Israel & an American patriot.”

Since 2015, Palestinians have murdered over 50 Israelis, two visiting Americans and a British tourist in stabbings, shootings and car-ramming attacks. Israeli forces killed over 260 Palestinians in that period, of which Israel says most were attackers.
