Airstrikes on Iranian-backed terror groups kill 18

The Associated Press reported that unidentified warplanes targeted an arms depot overnight along with Iranian-backed militia posts in eastern Syria near the Iraqi border. At least 18 fighters were killed, according to Syrian opposition activists.

The strikes come amid increasing tensions in the region and the crisis between Iran and the U.S. in the wake of the collapsing nuclear deal between Tehran and global powers.

An official with an Iranian-backed militia in Iraq blamed Israel for the airstrikes that hit in the eastern Syrian town of Boukamal. There was no immediate comment from Israel but let's face it, Iran is to Israel as the mainstream media is to Trump.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said last month that Iran has no immunity anywhere adding that the Israeli military “will act — and currently are acting — against them.”

According to the Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, the airstrikes began late on Sunday and continued after midnight, killing 18 Iranian and pro-Iranian fighters and also causing extensive damage.

Another local activist collective in eastern Syria however, claimed the death toll to be 21 jihadis and 36 wounded and said the strikes targeted positions held by Iranian militias and Iraq's Popular Mobilization Forces, which is comprised mostly of Iran-backed Shi'ite Muslim militias. They did not specify who the dead and wounded were.

Naturally, an anonymous Syria-based official for the Iraqi militia claimed that Israel was behind the attack, adding that four missiles fired by warplanes hit a post manned by Iranian gunmen and members of Lebanon’s Hezbollah group. He claimed that there were no Iraqi casualties in the strike which hit about 2 miles from the Iraq border.

The Israeli military remained mum on the airstrike but said rockets launched from Syria on Monday fell short and did not land in Israel. The military said the rockets were launched from the outskirts of Damascus by Shi'ite militants operating under the Iranian Revolutionary Guard. The military said it holds the Syrian government responsible for the attempted attack.

And so it goes.

Israel sees Iran as its main threat and allegedly struck Iran-linked targets in a pre-emptive self-defense strategy hitting targets as far away as Iraq. Israel has also struck Iranian targets in Lebanon and Syria.

Also Monday, Lebanon’s Hezbollah said it shot down an Israeli drone over southern Lebanon, shortly after it crossed from Israel amid rising tensions along the border between the two countries in recent weeks. [The plastic drone pilot is believed to have parachuted to safety.]

A Hezbollah statement said the drone was downed with “suitable weapons” over the village of Ramieh and that the militants now have it and are playing with it. The statement did not elaborate further.

The IDF said a “drone on a routine mission in northern Israel fell,” without elaborating on what it was doing nor how it was downed. It said the drone was “simple” and that there was no risk of a breach of information if it fell into enemy hands. 

Last month, Hezbollah leader Sayaad Hassan Nasrallah said his anti-Semitic group would confront and shoot down any Israeli drones that enter Lebanese airspace, raising the potential for conflict amid heightened tensions.

Nasrallah spoke after authorities said one alleged Israeli drone crashed in a Hezbollah stronghold in southern Beirut, landing on the roof of a building that houses Hezbollah’s media office, and another exploded and crashed in a plot behind the building, causing material damage.

Last week, Israel and Hezbollah fired upon each other for the first time in years. Hezbollah started by launching anti-tank missiles at an Israeli armored vehicle near the border, causing no casualties. Israel retaliated with artillery fire into southern Lebanon.

Hezbollah said last week’s missile strike was in retaliation for an Israeli airstrike near Damascus last month that killed two terrorists. Israel said the attack thwarted an Iranian-arranged drone attack squad. Days after the airstrike, Hezbollah said two Israeli attack drones crash-landed in Beirut.

And so it goes.

Israel fired upon by Hezbollah: civilians directed to bunkers

Anti-tank missiles were fired from Lebanon on Sunday toward northern Israel, according to Israel Defense Forces (IDF). Fortunately there were no casualties and Hezbollah ["Army of Allah"] and proxy of Iran in Lebanon, took responsibility for the attack.


“A number of anti-aircraft missiles were fired from Lebanon at an IDF base and military vehicles in the area. There are a number of confirmed hits," the army reported in a statement.

The missile attack was at an Israeli base near Moshav Avivam and IDF vehicles less than a kilometer from the Israel-Lebanon border. As a result of the attack, Hezbollah claimed it destroyed an Israeli tank, and the IDF admitted that one of their vehicles was hit but didn't elaborate as to what type of vehicle it was, or to the extent of damage.

In response, Israel returned fire at targets in southern Lebanon.

Residents up to four kilometers [about 2.5 miles] from the Lebanon border were directed to open bomb shelters or told to remain in their homes, Ynet reported.

This most recent incident comes after an IDF shelling earlier Sunday across the border into Lebanon toward Mount Dov [aka Shebaa Farms]. Fires erupted as a result of an Israeli drone entering Lebanon's airspace around 11:15 a.m., but there were no reports of injuries, according to Ynet and added that the Lebanese army addressed the incident.

Tensions have intensified in northern Israel since the IDF undertook an operation on terrorists who were preparing to launch a suicide-style drone strike, an operation that was under the command of Qasem Soleimani and was to be launched from Syria.

In response to the threat of Hezbollah, Israel has increased its military strength in the north with troops, aircraft and artillery.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah last week, “Be careful what you say and be more careful what you do.”

Nasrallah wasn't deterred saying that Israel "must pay a price" for its aggression, which, of course, is in self-defense. If it was up to Hezbollah, and the Middle East in general, Israel would not be allowed to defend itself from those countries that surround it and want to see it destroyed.

World Israel News reported that "[S]urprise military checkpoints popped up on roads in the north on Sunday. Residents must provide proof of identity in order to pass through them." WIN added that IDF Spokesman Brig. Gen. Ronen Manelis, who was to step down on Tuesday, has decided to extend his service for now.

There is no doubt that Hezbollah seeks the total destruction of Israel and there looks as if there is no end in sight to the violence.

Hezbollah planning 'calculated strike' against Israel not intended to start war

Hezbollah is Arabic for "Party of Allah." It is a Shi'a Islamic group founded in the early 1980s as an Iranian effort to coalesce a variety of jihadi Lebanese Shi'a groups and unify them into one organization. The group is vehemently anti-Semitic and its primary goal is the destruction of Israel along with every Jewish man, woman and child as part of a religious obligation.

Hezbollah really is the party of Allah because Allah, as narrated in the hadith, for example, instructs Muslims: "The Hour will not begin until you fight the Jews, until a Jew will hid behind a rock or a tree, and the rock or tree will say: 'O Muslim, O slave of Allah, here is a Jew behind me; come and kill him--except the gharqad tree.'

[The hadith is a collection of traditions that contain sayings of the prophet of Islam, Mohammed, with accounts of his daily practice known as the Sunna. The hadith is the major source of guidance for Muslims apart from the Koran.]

Hezbollah acts as a proxy for Iran in the forever ongoing Iran-Israel proxy war. The group was conceived by Muslim clerics and primarily funded by Iran. Yes, that is their religious obligation, or jihad.

There has been a source for the Jerusalem Post that said a reaction to Israel is "being arranged in a way which wouldn't lead to a war that neither Hezbollah nor Israel wants. The direction now is for a calculated strike, but how matters develop, that's another thing," the source said.

According to Hezbollah, two drones, which fell in the group’s stronghold neighborhood of Dahiya, were both armed with 5.5 kilos of C4 explosives.

The city was “subjected to a raid carried out by two drones: the first came down due to a technical failure while the second exploded.”

Hezbollah spokes-terrorist Muhammad Afif said Sunday that one Israeli drone exploded causing significant damage to the group’s media office, wounding three people. The other drone crashed shortly afterwards, causing no damage.

The announcement by Hezbollah comes after several reports accused Israel of attacking Lebanon with drones over the past two days in the first such “hostile action” by Israel in Lebanon since the 2006 Second Lebanon War.

Israel took responsibility for striking an Iranian position south of the Syrian capital of Damascus. The attack killed two Hezbollah terrorists and an Iranian terrorist planning to attack northern Israel with armed drones.

“What happened in Syria and Lebanon last night is very, very dangerous,” Hassan Nasrallah, the Hezbollah leader said in a speech Sunday night, adding that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu “would be mistaken if he thinks that this issue can go unnoticed.

“The time at which Israeli war jets used to strike targets in Lebanon while the usurping entity in Palestine kept safe has ended,” Nasrallah continued. “From tonight, I tell the Israeli army on the border, wait for our response, which may take place at any time on the border and beyond the border. Be prepared and wait for us.”

It's unlikely Netanyahu did not think for one second that Hezbollah wouldn't notice that Israel successfully neutralized their terrorists who were seeking to attack the Jewish state. In fact, he wanted them to notice because he is putting them on notice, that Israel will not sit back and take their attacks without retaliating.

BREAKING: IDF mocks Iran's Chief Soleimani on Twitter

The Israeli Defense Forces mocked Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps' leader Qasem Soleimani on Twitter after he bragged about destroying the "Zionist entity" [meaning the Jews] with killer drones, and Israel responded with airstrikes in Syria, The Jerusalem Post reported.

Here's what the tweet said:

"We will carry out a large-scale attack of killer drones on the 'Zionist entity' from Syria."

Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah expected to talk at 5 pm after two alleged Israeli drones fall in Beirut . . . if he doesn't get blown away before that time.

Hezbollah leader killed by his own men

Jerusalem -- Israel has determined that Hezbollah's top scumcrumpet commander, Mustafa Badreddine, was killed in Syria last May by rivals within the Shiite militant group, Israel's military chief Lt. General Gadi Eisenkot said Tuesday.

The announcement is an indication of a growing feud between Israel and Hezbollah, an Iranian-backed group sworn to Israel's destruction.

Hezbollah has over 100,000 rockets and missiles aimed at Israel and they are seen as a powerful enemy of the Jewish State. But Israel believes the group has been weakened and demoralized after fighting  alongside Syrian President Bashar Assad's forces in Syria.

Eisenkot said that the death of Badreddine illustrates "the depth of the internal crisis within Hezbollah," and also said that it reflected "the extent of the cruelty, complexity and tension between Hezbollah and its patron Iran."

One Israeli official said his country believes that the order to kill Badreddine was given by Hezbollah's leader, Hassan Nasrallah. 

Israeli intelligence believes Badreddine had been feuding with Iranian military leaders in Syria over the numerous losses his fighters suffered in battle. Both Iran and Hezbollah are backing Assad's government forces.

Hezbollah had no comment other than to say that Badreddine was killed as a result of insurgent shelling in Syria.

Badreddine was considered Hezbollah's top military official and was among five members on trial in absentia in the Netherlands for the bombing that killed Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri along with 21 others in Beirut in 2005.

Hezbollah doesn't want a confrontation with Israel right now because it's bogged down in the Syrian fighting and has lost hundreds of militants.

Iran ready to give U.S. a loose-wristed "slap in the face"

Dubai -- A commander of Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps said on Wednesday that if we underestimate their defensive capabilities, that we should expect a "strong slap in the face."

And Iran should not underestimate the kick in the crotch they will get for trying to slap us in the face by preventing them from developing a nuclear weapon, which we know they will use to bring back their so-called Twelfth Imam.

President Trump has made it clear that we will get tough with Iran warning them after they performed yet another ballistic missile test on January 29th. He told them they were playing with fire and that all of our options were on the table.

Gen. Mohammad (can you believe it) Pakpour said "The enemy should not be mistaken in its assessments, and it will receive a strong slap in the face if it does make such a mistake." Pakpour, who sometimes goes by the nickname "Goat Chaser" for his playful antics with these animals, is head of the Revolutionary Guard's ground forces.

The Guard wrapped up three days of military exercises with rockets, tanks, artillery, and helicopters, a few weeks after Trump put the terrorist-funding country "on notice" over the missile launch.

"The message of these exercises . . . for world arrogance is not to do anything stupid," Goat Chaser said and was quoted by Tasnim, the semi-official news agency.

"Everyone could see today what power we have on the ground," he said. 

While there are mounting tensions with Israel, an analyst at Tasnim said Hezbollah, and Iran ally, could fire Fateh 110 missiles from inside Lebanon into Israel to destroy their Dimona nuclear reactor. Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah (his mother wanted to name him Mohammad) said that his slime-balls could strike Dimona.

If that should happen, President Trump will have Israel's back and that kick in the groin is gonna hurt Iran, big league.
