Blowback over Covington Catholic 'Blackface' accusation begins

New York's Daily News' ironically used to be known as New York's picture newspaper. Maybe that's because a large number of those who buy it only look at the pictures. But that's the irony--the pictures [as in video] at the Lincoln Memorial of Native American serial liar, Nathan Phillips, clearly show that the boys from Covington Catholic High School, in Kentucky, did not harass him, but it was the other way around. Yet that didn't stop the rag from trying to go after the school in order to somehow justify their lies about the incident.

After the left-leaning media-led smear campaign against the Covington High School boys fell apart with video evidence clearly demonstrating that not only did the boys not target an African American group with "racial epithets" and "harass" Phillips, (it was the boys were actually the ones who were pelted with insults and harassed) the left-wing New York Daily News published another hit-piece on the Catholic school on Monday.

The piece, shamelessly titled "SEE IT: Covington Catholic High students in blackface at past basketball game," begins by saying snarkily, "This won’t help Kentucky student Nick Sandmann’s case." It then shamelessly "reports":

While the photo’s origins couldn't be verified, the official Covington Catholic High School YouTube account published a video last January boasting its basketball school spirit, and several clips, including one from 2012, showcase attendees chanting in black face, a mockery of the opposing players. The school took down the video later on Monday.

It's obvious to anyone with a high school education, or who at least attended one high school or college basketball game, that the idiots at the Daily News have no idea what they're talking about.

Matt Walsh of the Daily Wire summed up the arguments succinctly in an op-ed:

Anyone with, say, a third of a functioning brain rattling around in their skulls will immediately understand the scene. The kids are all wearing black because the fans of sports teams often will come to games all in the same color. Oftentimes fans will wear black as part of a "blackout." Other times they'll white as part of a "whiteout." Or sometimes they'll wear blue or red or any other color. This is standard operating procedure in American sports, especially scholastic sports. 

Why are they screaming at the opposing player? Well, because he is the opposing player and that's what the home fans do and have done in every basketball game or football game ever played anywhere on Earth. Why is the opposing player black? Well, because that just happens to be his race. If he was white, they would be just as unwelcoming. This is part of the pageantry of sports.

The blowback to the leftist Daily News' hit-piece has gone online, including a post from Robert Barnes, the lawyer who repeatedly called out journalists for libeling the Covington teens and is threatening lawsuits on their behalf against any who fail to adequately retract their false reports.

"Fake news. This is a blackout event, not people in blackface. Hence, notice how the kids entire bodies are in black paint or black clothing. I guess NYDN thought it wouldn’t be fair if they didn’t get sued too," wrote Barnes in response to the Daily News tweet.

Let's hope Barnes is serious and drags their butts to court.

"Many independent journalists who lean left agree the kids were falsely attacked, led by one of the best grassroots journalists in the country on these kind of issues," he wrote Tuesday after a series of posts directed as specific reporters. "No media member who refuses to retract at this juncture has any credible defense to libeling these kids."

The problem is that the First Amendment generally protects journalists from being sued. But this is not journalism--that seems to have died a long time ago, even before Trump became president.

Charlottesville suspect's mom told him to drive safely

The mommy of the "man" who police say killed a 32-year-old woman when he intentionally plowed his car into pedestrians of the non-white supremacist persuasion told her son to not kill anyone and protest 'peacefully' at the Charlottesville, Va. rally.

'Peacefully' is a white supremacist code word for 'so's you don't get caught.'

She urged her little munchkin that if he was going to another white supremacist rally to "be careful." 

James Alex Fields Jr., 20, of Maumee, Ohio, texted his paraplegic mother, Samantha Bloom on Friday to say he dropped his pussycat off at her house so he could go to the "alt-right" rally in Virginia. 

Ms. Bloom said she didn't realize that it was a white supremacist rally. "I thought it had something to do with Trump. Trump's not a white supremacist," she said, and became visibly upset as she learned what her son had done.

"He had an African-American friend . . . ," as her voice trailed off.

The Blade reported Sunday that the FBI had interviewed her about her son.

Bloom had returned from a Saturday dinner unaware of her son's arrest.

"I don't talk to him about political views. So I don't understand what the rally was about," she said. He reportedly told her about the rally the previous week.

The New York Daily News reported photographing Fields on the front lines of the rally around 10:30 a.m. He was flanked with other racist white men in snazzy polo shirts and tan slacks holding the racially charged black-and-white insignia of the Vanguard America hate group.

Vanguard America wisely denied any association with Fields, but, hey, you never know. They claimed they handed out shields "to anyone in attendance who wanted them" just as long as they weren't black, Hispanic, Jews or Asian. (Feel free to add more groups if you wish.)

In an illiterate Twitter post on Sunday Vanguard America wrote:

"All our members are safe an (sic) accounted for, with no arrests or charges."

Which shows the police weren't arresting people because they could have had a field day.

Fields entered the Army on August 18, 2015 and less than four months later, on December 11th, his active duty mysteriously concluded. Perhaps the Army still doesn't accept racist schmucks in their ranks.

The New York Daily News quoted Caitlin Robinson, who attended Ockerman Middle School in Florence, Ky., with Fields saying that he was interested in "far-right" ideologies years before.

"On many occasions there were times he would scream obscenities whether it be about Hitler or racial slurs," Robinson told the paper in an email.

But of course, Hitler was by no means a "far right" scum. He was a socialist and called his party the National Socialist German Workers Party, but you won't hear that on MSNBC or CNN.

Robinson's email also said that Fields "mostly kept to himself" and "didn't start fights or try to fight." She also said he was "exceptionally odd and an outcast to be sure."

Fields' father was killed by a drunken driver just months before his birth and was left money that his uncle kept in trust for him until he reached adulthood. In spite of the fact that he received the money, he obviously hasn't yet reached adulthood.

"When he turned 18, he demanded his money, and that was the last I had any contact with him," the uncle told the paper.

Fields is charged with second degree murder, three counts of malicious wounding, and leaving the scene. A bond hearing is scheduled for Monday.

Bernie Sanders is in a self-induced coma

"I hope I can live to the end of my first term, if I win"

BREAKING: Bernie Sanders is in a coma. He went into the coma in college and has been brain-dead ever since. But without a "Do Not Resuscitate" order, he just keeps plugging along with the same old ideas that haven't worked for the left, and he refuses to wake up from his self-induced coma, which makes him a perfect leftist candidate for the DNC.

Bernie interviewed with the New York Daily News' editorial board who asked him how his signature policy of breaking up the big banks would work. His coma worsened and he lost his ability to speak.

However, Sanders regained his verbal abilities when they asked him about the Middle East, specifically the issue of Israel and the Palestinian conflict. But his words reflected a disconnect from reality and it is feared that Bernie may have gone full schizophrenic.

The 2014 war with Gaza was discussed and Sanders showed his lack of understanding of what the hell was going on. He said that Israel's retaliation for Hamas' rocketing and shelling Israeli civilian centers was disproportionate. "Anybody help me out here," Sanders said, "because I don't remember the figures, but my recollection is over 10,000 innocent people were killed in Gaza. Does that sound right?"

Yeah, sure--that figure is right if you're into that Islamic thing known as "Taqiyya." The figure isn't even close to being correct. The only figure we have is from the United Nations [of Islam] which is 1,500 and that's likely as trustworthy as Hillary Clinton at a Benghazi hearing.

Civilian deaths are reported by local authorities who, in this case, happen to be a terrorist organization whose religious duty is to annihilate Israel and the Jews. The Hamassholes [jihadists of Hamas] use mosques, schools and their own kids to hide behind while lobbing rockets at Israeli children and civilians.

Sanders wants Israel to halt settlement activity and to also "pull back settlements in the West Bank, just as Israel did in Gaza."

But just when the editorial staff asked him to simply "describe the pull back that you have in mind," the coma worsened and he dodged the question and went on to blather about Palestinian suffering which, he blamed on Israel and not the Palestinian elites, Hamas and institutions. 

Sanders would make a great POTUS for Islamic terrorism--as an insulated, naive Jewish leftist, who rarely discusses his Jewish background, he is clueless about how Islamist organizations use victimhood as a way to create a climate of guilt of the actual victims of their jihad.

Bernie Sanders is their favorite Dhimmie and they will kill him last.
