Not Gov. Stacey Abrams hints she'd keep Kemp's tax cuts as actual governor of GA

Democratic gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams, kind of hinted that if she really gets elected as Georgia's governor, she would do what Gov. Brian Kemp (R) has done, which is to keep the current tax cuts which saves Georgia's residents $1billion.

[H/T Fox News]

But like most Democrats, if you believe their campaign promises, you might also believe that your cat won't eat you after you die. Consider Biden's broken promises and ask yourself if Abrams will "pull a Joe" on you.

The Kemp campaign and Republican Governors Association blasted Abrams on Wednesday, just 50 days after Gov. Kemp signed "the largest income tax cut in state history." She has been totally "silent" on the tax cuts because they constantly accuse the GOP as the party that wants to raise taxes. It's as if the Democrats don't know what the TEA Party stood for [taxed enough already] while they think voters are stupid.

The Abrams campaign told Fox News, "Stacey has made clear she will not raise any taxes, she has clearly laid out how she will pay for her plans, and none of her plans to date or in the future will raise taxes."

This means that she will raise taxes.

When asked specifically if Abrams will commit to maintaining the tax cuts that were passed, a spokesperson replied, "Yes."

This  means "no."

She also turned the tables on Team Kemp, pointing to the governor's suspension of the Peach State's gas tax he signed into law in May, which expires mid-July.

Abrams is calling for the suspension to extend until the end of the year, after the election, that is.

Maybe Kemp will extend the suspension, but it's hard to believe anything Abrams says--she still insists she won the 2018 gubernatorial election, which she lost by over 50,000 votes.

"Before saying another word on taxes, Kemp should follow Stacey Abrams’ lead by supporting an extension of the gas tax suspension until the end of 2022," the Abrams campaign told Fox News. "Instead, he has indicated he will restore gas taxes to full levels next month, raising gas taxes and gas prices."

Believe the Abrams campaign at your own risk, Georgia. At least Kemp's campaign told the network that the governor will "continue to evaluate a further suspension of the gas tax" and will "make the decision soon in consultation with legislative leadership," noting that it amounts to "$170 million" saved per month.

The Kemp campaign also pushed back on Abrams' assertion that she wouldn't raise any taxes. The campaign told the outlet that "Abrams is rolling out plans to spend billions of taxpayer money and isn’t being honest about how she’d pay for it."

"Like the liberals she’s beholden to in the Biden Administration, Abrams is using fuzzy math and praying no one notices," Kemp campaign deputy communications director Reagan McCarthy said. "Hardworking Georgians struggling to make ends meet thanks to Democrat policies deserve a straight answer from her on how much their taxes will go up to pay for her campaign ‘promises.’"

Although former President Trump did not endorse Kemp, instead endorsing David Perdue, in an attempt to unseat Kemp because he certified Georgia's election results, the governor kicked Perdue's butt in the election. He won an incredible 73.7% of the Republican vote. To his credit, Perdue conceded the election and offered his support for Kemp. Whether or not Trump will forgive and forget before November, is anyone's guess, but I guess not. As much as I like what Trump accomplished in his 4 years as president, his ego is fragile and it's hard to get back on his good side.

I hope I'm wrong.

The latest polls show Kemp having a five-point lead over Abrams, according to the average from RealClearPolitics. Why anyone would vote for Abrams is a mystery.

Biden pledges to increase taxes, mandate masks, and decrease tax deductions

Presumptive vegetable nominee for the Democrat Party, Joe "Sniff Sniff" Biden pledged to potential campaign donors on Monday that if by some chance he is elected President, he will reverse the bulk of President Trump's tax cuts and tax the hell out of Americans. He admits, "a lot of you may not like that."

Can you honestly say who, among us in the average working class, wants to pay more taxes? More than a lot of us.

"I'm going to get rid of the bulk of Trump's $2 trillion tax cuts, and a lot of you may not like that, but I'm going to close loopholes like capital gains and stepped-up basis," Biden said, ensuring investors and companies to go back to the countries they came from before Trump was elected.

The useless former vice president promised to raise the corporate tax rate from 21 percent to 28 percent, which he said is projected to raise $1.3 trillion over the next decade, a number even higher than the number of brain cells that have since died in Joe's deteriorated brain.

The Trump administration permanently slashed the corporate tax rate from 35 percent to 21 percent with the passage of the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. This was the catalyst for huge job growth and the return of many businesses back home from the countries they fled to in order to escape the Democrat's vengeance on success.

Biden also floated the possibility of capping deductions -- Trump substantially increased the size of the standard tax deduction in 2017 -- and sanctioning companies for tax avoidance, like Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) did with her defunct publishing company, the Brook Avenue Press

Biden also would require that every American who dares go out in public wear a face mask until he says they don't need to anymore. He was told that should he contract the Chinese Communist Wuhan Coronavirus, or COVID-19, he's as good as dead, which isn't far from where he's at currently.

House approves final tax reform bill

The U.S. House of Representatives approved a huge tax bill that will create huge rate cuts for American companies and double the deduction that millions of families claim on their annual tax returns. It will also make other important changes. It is the biggest rewrite of the tax code since Reagan was president.

To quote Joe Biden who whispered into Barack Obama's ear and was heard by millions, this tax reform package is a "big f**k**g deal."

The bill passed on a 227 to 203 vote. It is expected to clear the Senate, but hey, you never know.

The $1.5 trillion bill would give President Trump a major legislative victory and bring Christmas joy to millions, although it will take until next year before they see more money in their paychecks.

"Today, we are giving the people of this country their money back," House Speaker Paul Ryan (R.-Wis.) said on the House floor, unable to contain a big smile.

Ryan spoke at an earlier press conference and said that "families at every income level get a tax cut." He vowed that a family of four making the median income of just over $70,000 would see a tax cut worth over $2,000.

"This is real relief, and people are going to see this in their paychecks before too long," he said. ". . . This is the greatest example of a promise being made and a promise being kept."

Democrats, of course, opposed the bill unanimously. They called it a "scam" that only benefits the wealthy, but once the public sees more money in their paychecks, Democrats will look foolish.

The speaker led a round of applause on the House floor minutes before the vote and thanked "architect" Rep. Kevin Brady (R.-Tx.) chairman of the Ways and Means Committee.

Barring any unexpected theatrics, the bill should pass narrowly in the Senate in just a few more hours. It will give President Trump a major victory on the domestic front.

The final bill is a combination of previously passed House and Senate legislation. It will cut corporate tax from 35 to 21 percent--that should boost business and give the economy a big shot in the arm. It would double the standard deduction used by about two-thirds of American households, to $24,000 for married couples. The current $1,000-per-child doubles to $2,000.

And more.

The corporate tax cut will be permanent while tax cuts for individuals expires in 2026. At that time, new legislation can deal with individual need.

House Minority Leader Nancy "Dancing Hands" Pelosi (D.-Calif.) spoke with her hands in front of a giant sign that read, "#GOPTAXSCAM."

But she didn't vote to pass it in order to read it.
