Liz Cheney gets her butt handed to her by Elon over USAID

This week, DOGE, led by Elon Musk, turned its attention to USAID, stirring up significant controversy among Democrats by uncovering what they claim to be inefficiencies and misconduct. The Democratic reaction has been intense enough that even former Rep. Tim Ryan (R-OH) criticized Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer's handling of the situation. A panel from the Comedy News Network (CNN) couldn't help but laugh at what they perceived as an ineffective Democratic protest.

In the midst of this political storm, Mike Benz, Director of the Foundation for Freedom Online and a former State Department official, linked USAID to former Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY), noting her past employment with the agency. Musk found this connection "interesting."

Cheney responded to Musk's interest with a tweet that many found off-topic:

Damn right, @Elon. I’m proud of what America did to win the Cold War, defeat Soviet communism, and defend democracy. Our nation stood for freedom. You may be unfamiliar with that part of our history since you weren’t yet an American citizen.

Her response, which seemed unrelated to the current discussion about USAID, was mocked for its irrelevance and for incorrectly tagging Musk's account name. Social media users on X had a field day with her error:

There was also mention of a pardon Cheney reportedly received from Joe Biden, though she did not address these comments. Her remarks about Musk's citizenship and his familiarity with American history drew further criticism, with some viewing it as an attack on immigrants.

Senator Mike Lee (R-UT) expressed his disapproval of Cheney's comments by posting:

“I was a citizen before you were”
Not cool
If there is one thing Republicans and conservatives in general can agree on is that Liz Cheney is as cool as the sun.

Dem debate: Tim Ryan refused to hold his hand over his heart during Nat'l Anthem, stuff followed

The following is satire, but it's true that Ryan did refuse to put his hand over his heart during the anthem.

So the second first-string Democratic-socialist debate is now in the history comic books. As always, the debate started out with the playing of the National Anthem, which seemed to bother a lot of people.

Tim Ryan (Dummy-OH) was the only leftist to refuse to place his hand over his heart in respect of the country and our flag. Every other candidate did so, but they noticed how Ryan was getting attention for his unpatriotic display.

Not to be outdone by Ryan's display of who hates America the most, Sen, Bernie Sanders (Idiot-VT) took a knee.

Once Sanders bent his arthritic knee in defiance of the Star Spangled Banner, Sen. Elizabeth "Cowabunga" Warren got into the act and removed a small American flag from her purse and performed a Cherokee war dance upon it as it lay on the ground and lit it on fire.

Marianne Williamson quickly ran over to where Warren was carrying on, and picked up the flaming flag and put the fire out with a glass of water CNN provided for her. She then picked up the smoldering flag, whispered something inaudible, and hugged it to her face.

"And the home of the brave."

Pelosi wins another term as House minority leader: GOP cheers

Rep.[rehensible] Nancy Pelosi (Duh. Calif.) was once again appointed to an EIGHTH!!! term as House minority leader after beating out Ohio Rep. Tim Ryan. This of course contradicts the whole idea of "moving forward" as the Democrats continue to run in place with their has-been losers.

Pelosi's win, 134 to 63 goes to show that the party is "coast-based" mostly located in large, highly liberal cities.

Pelosi said after the secret balloting that she was "exhilarated" but actually meant "exhausted" due to her tired, aging body taking its toll on her. She had accurately predicted that she would receive two-thirds of the vote.

And they say the GOP is the party of old, white men.

She claimed that winning has brought "a special spring in my step," because it gives her the chance to "differentiate between us and the administration coming in January," but she avoided discussing how the incoming administration kicked the collective butts of the Demoocrats led by the 76-year-old Pelosi, a woman whose ideas are as fresh as that blue gooey thing you find stuck under an old car seat.

Ryan argued that newer lawmakers in the party need a bigger, fresher voice to represent them, instead of the old farts that currently do, but since Nancy is a nostalgic favorite, how could they vote for new ideas?

Anyway, it's good for the Republicans, and if Hillary decides that the three is her lucky number, that would be even better for the GOP's chances of a Trump two-fer.

Ohio Rep. Marcia Fudge, who backed Ryan, said his failure to beat Pelosi wasn't a failure. Of Ryan's loss she said, "We didn't lose today. We now have a leadership team that listens to us . . . Today we made our caucus more representative of our members," [where it previously only represented the Democratic elite like Hillary Clinton and her ilk].

When asked how she finds the energy to fight for the Democrats as hard as she does, Pelosi said, "Having Harry Reid chasing after me in my chambers keeps me spry."

Just joshing--earnestly.

Ryan is in, Pelosi . . . ?

Paul Ryan is in, Nancy Pelosi is weird.

Quietly, behind closed doors, the GOP has nominated Ryan for a second term as speaker, but the Democrats appear to be having misgivings about doing the same for their minority leader Nancy "Dancing Hands" Pelosi.

Over the past few weeks as the election loomed, it was thought that Ryan's leadership was in jeopardy, but when Trump won, and Republicans held onto their majorities in Congress, Ryan was a shoo-in.

But House Democrats were defeated solidly by deplorable voters across the country and it called into question Pelosi's position as leader.

Pelosi, who plans to try her hands at becoming a shadow puppet performer after retiring from politics, was always good at fundraising. She has been on the taxpayer dole as top House Democrat since 2002 and predicted the liberals would retake the House. She was totally wrong--the Dems only secured a small handful of seats of the thirty "Dancing Hands" predicted.

The House Democrats insisted Tuesday that delaying the voting for her seat from Thursday to November 30th is not necessarily a signal of a leadership change. However, they made it clear that the change in venue was in fact over concerns about the future of the Democratic Party.

"We need to decide where we want to fight President-elect Trump and where we want to compromise," said Rep. Brendan Boyle (D-Pa.). His home state voted Republican for the first time since 1988.

Rep. Tim Ryan (D-Oh.) has been suggested as a possible challenger to Pelosi. He spoke privately with other House members without needing to emphasize his thoughts by waving his hands, but has not yet made an official bid for the job.

Even Ohio Rep. Marcy Kaptur, the longest-serving House Democrat, already signed a letter supporting Pelosi, but said she might reconsider if anyone else in her region would "come into our race."

"This is a moment for us to listen to American people," Kaptur said, but she wasn't being serious, which is why the Democrats got their butts kicked on Election Day.

Congressional Black Caucus Chairman G.K. Butterfield (D-N.C.) said the decision to delay the vote came "after considerable discussion" and resulted from the party getting a "shellacking" by the voters. He said the party needs to "recalibrate," as if they are made up of air pressure indicators or something as ridiculous.

[The Congressional Black Caucus is a group of black politicians who only allow other black politicians who fall into the Democratic Party line to become a member--they refused Allen West membership due to their intolerance to better ideas.]

Both Butterfield and Boyle said they intend to vote for Pelosi however, many Americans said they would vote for Clinton and look how that turned out. The congressmen said the party lost touch with its working-class electorate, which feels desperately left behind in the new economy.

That may have to do with the fact that the Democratic Party is no longer the party of the middle-class, which is why they lost. They have become the party of future Democratic voters currently known as illegal immigrants. They have become the party of the rich folks who look down upon the middle- and lower-income Americans, referring to us is negative terms.

Privately, House Democrats said that the delayed vote was an indication that rank-and-file members are considering ditching Pelosi.

In true Clinton style, Pelosi said that they originally planned to have the vote on November 30th. "It's not a delay," she said to a group of so-called reporters and photographers.

But in a letter last week to the House Democratic Caucus, Pelosi resisted attempts for a postponement stating that other members "have indicated a strong desire to proceed with elections next week in order to prepare forcefully for the lame duck session and the challenges we will face in January."

On Tuesday, Pelosi said that the Democratic Party has "been through hell," and said "I don't care when the election is," keeping in line with "Democratic truth" as opposed to the "Truth truth."
