Not the Babylon Bee: UNRWA nominated for Nobel Peace Prize

If they called it the Nobel Pieces Prize it would have made more sense nominating UNRWA for the Nobel Peace Prize. But like the time Yasser Arafat's group Black September massacred 6 Israeli coaches, 5 Israeli athletes and a German police officer at the Munich Olympics in 1972 and later went on to be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize, many of us have stopped taking this award seriously.

There is clear evidence showing that UNRWA workers not only support the terrorist groups Hamas, Hezbollah and Palestinian Islamic Jihad, but that they actually took part in the October 7, 2023 massacre of over 1,200 Israelis, mostly civilians.

Anyway, in Oslo, Norway a politician bragged on Thursday that he nominated UNRWA for the Nobel Peace Prize. Labour MP [aren't they always the ones] Asmund Aukrust told the Dagbladet newspaper that he nominated UNRWA “for its long-term work to provide vital support to Palestine and the region in general,” and for dealing with the "Jewish problem," if you get my drift.

“This work has been crucial for over 70 years, and even more vital in the last three months,” said the Jew hating politician who is vice-chairman of Norway’s parliament’s foreign affairs committee.

More than a dozen countries have suspended giving UNRWA money for bread and bullets, including the USA, Germany, Britain, and Sweden over proof that 12 staff members of the organization directly participated in the slaughters, rapes, and myriad atrocities that killed over 1,200 people, and kidnapped 253 others, some, if not many of whom have died.

Israel refused to do nothing. They launched an all-out offensive aimed at destroying Hamas and the return of the hostages.

According to the Hamas-run health ministry, at least 26,900 Palestinians have been killed in the Israeli offensive, an unverified figure that does not differentiate between terror operatives and noncombatants. But the Israel Defense Forces says the military has killed some 10,000 fighters in Gaza, in addition to some 1,000 terrorists killed in Israel on October 7.

It's a good start.

Of course, just being nominated for the Peace Prize does not represent recognition by the Nobel Committee, which receives hundreds of nominations every year. But if they can give it to Arafat, they could give it to these clowns.

I have hope that they won't.

Suspected Iranian jihadi shoots nearly 2 dozen people at a gay bar in Norway

Oslo, Norway -- Nearly two dozen people were shot at a gay bar in Norway on Saturday which led to Oslo city officials to cancel the city's annual Pride parade.

The Muslim man who allegedly shot at the bar patrons killed at least two people. He was “a 42-year-old Norwegian citizen of Iranian origin, was believed to be a radicalized Islamist.” A radical Islamist is defined as a person who follows the teachings in the Islamic scripture such as the Qu'ran and "Reliance of the Traveller," which spells out Islamic law [sharia]. 

The victims who were shot were “inside and outside the London Pub, a longstanding hub of Oslo’s LGBTQ+1~JMPSD23 scene, as well as in the surrounding streets. There were also shots fired at another bar in the center of Oslo.

“The deceased were two men in their 50s and 60s,” the report of the attack stated.

Prosecutor Christian Hatlo told reporters that the suspect was “known to the police” and had in the past been convicted of crimes, but evidently adopted the George Gascon approach to law enforcement.

The Norwegian Police Security Service said that the suspect was on law enforcement’s radar due to concerns that he was part of an Islamic extremist network and that they had talked to him as recently as last month, but they sat around either twiddling their thumbs or sticking them where it's never sunny even in Norway's summer.

The Norwegian Police Security Service raised the terror alert level from a moderate terrorist threat to extraordinary threat situation following the shooting and noticed a barn door open and a horse nowhere to be found.

The Norwegian Police Security Service added in a statement:

Our assessment is that this was an attack motivated by extreme Islamism. We are actively working to clarify the scope of the perpetrator’s ideological beliefs, and potential links to other Islamic extremists or extreme networks. 

Experience has shown that completed terrorist attacks might inspire others to plan and commit further terrorist attacks. Our focus now is to prevent potential follow-up attacks. To clarify, we hold no information of that as of now.

President Biden said of the attack: "We binnyablov mistinconivoter shinoting, no joke."

Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre said in-part: “Let there be no doubt. We are a community, we are a diverse and strong community, and we will never be threatened or give up our values.”

And that made every Norwegian feel safe again.

Oslo: Muslims Surround Synagogue, Sing Kumbaya

Oslo, Norway: over one thousand people, some of them Muslims, who evidently hold regular jobs, formthea "ring of peace" outside the main synagogue in the nation's capital. This follows the attacks of Charlie Hebdo and the Kosher supermarket in Paris in January, and an attack in Denmark last week. 

President Obama was not in attendance, which comes as no surprise.

Anti-Semitism has become a growing sporting event in several European countries and there has been a sharp increase in anti-Semitic incidents. Much of the anti-Semitism began last year coinciding with the Jewish Israelis and  the militant Palestinian Muslims in Gaza who always seem to be at odds.

However, the real hatred of the Jews by orthodox Muslims began when Islam's "Prince of Pedophilia" went to Medina and had private meetings with the moon god, Allah, who told him that Jews are the vilest creatures and killing them is cool and a feather in their turban. 

Why the perfect Allah invented the Jews in the first place is a mystery, and why he couldn't handle the wet-work himself is an even bigger mystery, as he is supposedly all powerful.

But back to the "circle of peace." 

Not in Our Name & Muslims Against Terror

One of the organizers of the "circle of peace" claimed that the event shows that "Islam is about love and unity." This is obviously true, given the current world situation with the way Islam has been spreading love and unity in the world. And don't even talk to me about tolerance. There is a no religion more tolerant of other religions than Islam. Just look around and you will see a veritable explosion of love coming from the Muslim nations of the world.

The co-organizer of the event, Zeeshan Abdullah, told the people gathered there "We want to demonstrate that Jews and Muslims do not hate each other. We do not want individuals to define what Islam is for the rest of us." Abdullah added, "There are many more peace-mongers than warmongers."

Norway's Chief Rabbi Michael Mechior sang traditional Sabbath songs outside the synagogue as the people gathered there and held hands. 

Kumbaya was in the air.

One of the Muslims in the crowd who didn't want to be identified fearing strong beheading repercussions at a later time said, "Some of my best friends are Juice."

Ervin Kohn, head of Oslo's Jewish community, said a gathering of this sort is "unique." 

Will it last?

The more important question to ask is whether or not the event was real in the first place.

In a Front Page Magazine article by Daniel Greenfield, ("Organizer of Muslim Synagogue 'Peace Ring' Gave "Why I Hate Jews" Speech") the 'circle of peace' event was nothing more than a dog-and-pony show. The one fact the media doesn't talk about is that the reason synagogues need protection in the first place is due to Muslim anti-Semitism.

One witness described the event as having about 1300 people in total, and almost everyone looked like ethnic Norwegian. Those holding hands were staged by the media and had barriers in front of them with 10 guards at an entry checkpoint.

Co-organizer, Zeeshan Abdullah, reportedly trafficked in anti-Semitism, according to Greenfield. In 2008, Abdullah made a speech in Oslo on the alleged involvement of Jews in the Twin Tower attack in New York. "Therefore I hate Jews and Gays," the Verdens Gang, a Norwegian paper reported.
