St. Louis progressive prosecutor Kim Gardner may be in trouble

St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner is may be in deep dung as she faces a disciplinary hearing that might result in the loss of her law license. What will she do if she can't crap on the Second Amendment and side with criminals over the victims? Maybe she can sell salve on Amazon.

It began in 2019 when Alan Pratzel, chief disciplinary counsel, appointed by the Missouri Supreme Court, launched an investigation and found probable cause that Gardner committed professional misconduct stemming from her attempts to prosecute former Republican Gov. Eric Greitens, according to KMOV.

"As the Circuit Attorney has repeatedly proven time after time, she has acted in full accordance with the law during the investigation into former Governor Greitens," Gardner's office claimed in a statement released Tuesday evening. Okay, where's the proof?

"Despite several investigations attempting to uncover illegal wrongdoing by her office in this case, none has ever been found. We are confident that a full review of the facts will show that the Circuit Attorney has not violated the ethical standards of the State of Missouri." 

Maybe she hides the evidence well.

In a separate investigation, Gardner made national headlines in the Mark and Patricia McCloskey case. The couple was indicted by a St. Louis grand jury last October on felony charges of unlawful use of a weapon and tampering with evidence. Actually they didn't really "use" their weapons, they simply displayed them to a mob trespassing on their property and the properties of their neighbors.

The McCloskeys are both defense attorneys in their 60s. They can be seen in viral photographs [see below] with guns outside their mansion as demonstrators marched through their private St. Louis neighborhood on the way to the home of then-Mayor Lyda Krewson on June 28 amid nationwide protests in response to the death of a long time criminal and illicit drug-user named George Floyd.

The couple said they felt threatened after the mob destroyed an iron gate and ignored a "No Trespassing" sign. Protest leaders denied damaging the gate and said the march was peaceful, with whom CNN and MSNBC didn't argue.

In a statement last June, Gardner described the encounter between the McCloskeys and the crowd as "a violent assault" against those exercising their First Amendment rights. Missouri Gov. Mike Parson, a Republican, previously called Gardner’s action toward the couple "outrageous."

The Second Amendment counts just as much as the First, and without the Second, the First Amendment would fall along with the republic.

Last month, a smart, Jewish lawyer representing the McCloskeys, Joel Schwartz, filed a motion seeking to send the case back to the grand jury to decide if the couple should have been indicted in the first place. He cited alleged "bias" at Gardner’s office that he said tainted the grand jury process. But Circuit Judge David Mason denied the motion on Friday and set trial for Nov. 1. 

The next hearing will be in June.

Politico recently reported that Mark McCloskey is considering running for the Senate in 2022 after Republican Sen. Roy Blunt announced in March he would not seek reelection. Greitens had already announced in March that he will seek the Republican nomination for Senate in 2022.

Gardner is just seeking to keep her law license.

Missouri AG calls out St. Louis prosecutor in McCloskey's self-defense case

Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt called out the St. Louis prosecutor Kim Gardner, who is handling the case of Mark and Patricia McCloskey. They are the couple who legally defended their property from an encroaching, threatening, and partially armed mob.

Gardner is a Soros-funded leftist and Schmitt is exposing this little tidbit about her.

On Friday, law enforcement executed a warrant against the McCloskeys and confiscated their registered, legal firearms, violating their Second Amendment rights.

Schmitt alleged to Fox News that  Gardner has a history of making politically motivated decisions.

The gate the rioters destroyed

"Under Missouri law, under the Castle Doctrine, an individual has really expansive authority to protect their own lives, their home, and their property. I think the story here to watch here is the local prosecutor, Kim Gardner," Schmitt said.

"Kim Gardner has an abysmal record in prosecuting violent crime, has recently released and been complicit in the release of dozens and dozens of inmates who have been charged with violent crimes, and has a record of making politically motivated decisions not based on the law," he explained. "So, this is certainly something to watch."

After the incident with the McCloskeys generated national attention, Gardner, always on the side of the perps, released a statement claiming the McCloskeys had committed a "violent assault," and vowed to hold them accountable.

Schmitt explained that the McCloskeys did not act unlawfully. First of all, it was a private, gated street, not a public thoroughfare. The rioters and protesters were on their way to the mayor's house, which had been vandalized several previous times.

The McCloskeys thought they were in danger and believed they were going to be attacked by the anarchists, mainly because the anarchists told them they were going to murder them and enter their home.

"This was on a private street, and if you listen to the McCloskeys, they felt threatened, that they were going to be attacked, and that it was made known to them. They made known to the protesters and the people who came by that this was a private street, and they said they were going to murder them and come into their house, and so, as I said, the Castle Doctrine in Missouri is pretty expansive; it allows you to defend your life, obviously your family's life, your home, but also your property, and this was on private property.

"It's hard to get into the mind of Kim Gardner. As I said, she has a sketchy track record of making politically-based decisions," Schmitt went on to say about the leftist prosecutor.

Despite the warrant, criminal charges have not yet been filed against the McCloskeys, nor was the basis of the warrant made clear. The word was supposedly out that charges were going to be filed, so it's now just a waiting game.

I cannot imagine the McCloskeys would be found guilty of anything other than doing exactly what they needed to do to protect themselves from the rioters who have become a cancer to our society.

Sr. Louis Couple who defended themselves have rifle seized during police search

They're coming for your businesses and they're coming for your Second Amendment right to defend yourself from bodily harm. They are organizations known as Antifa, "Expect Us," and the Democrat Party.

Authorities in St. Louis executed a search warrant Friday evening at the home of Mark and Patricia McCloskey. The couple, both attorneys, took up arms and defended their home from rioters and protesters last month, but now the law is coming for them.

Police searched their home and seized the rifle that Mark McCloskey was shown holding during the June 28 incident, KSDK-TV of St. Louis reported, citing information from a source.

The pistol that Patricia McCloskey held during the June confrontation was already in the possession of the couple’s attorney, the outlet reported.

There is no indication that either of the McCloskeys were arrested or if they were charged with a crime, but the idea they did anything wrong, as opposed to the visual evidence that they were merely defending themselves against an unruly crowd that had already broken down the private gate of their community, is totally ludicrous.

On Monday, the McCloskeys appeared on Fox News’ “Hannity” and explained that protesters returned to their neighborhood last Friday.  They were told in advance the mob was coming and hired a private security company to protect their residence since the police were not going to be involved.

Last week’s protest was loud but non-violent, the homeowner said.

In the June 28th incident, Patricia McCloskey said, they was startled just before dinnertime when “300 to 500 people” entered the gated community where they live.

"[They said] that they were going to kill us," Patricia McCloskey told Hannity.
"They were going to come in there. They were going to burn down the house. They were going to be living in our house after I was dead, and they were pointing to different rooms and said, 'That’s going to be my bedroom and that’s going to be the living room and I’m going to be taking a shower in that room’.”"

That's how Communism works.

The protesters even threatened to harm their dog, which was outside the home at the time.

The protesters claimed they were passing the McCloskeys' home while heading toward the home of Mayor Lyda Krewson, to demonstrate there, which is a lie because the mayor doesn't live there, the McCloskeys explained.

Soon after the June incident, Kimberly Gardner, circuit attorney in St. Louis, announced that her office and the St. Louis Police Department would be conducting an investigation into the McCloskeys’ use of firearms.

Had it been "Louisville Sluggers" that were brandished by the couple to protect themselves, rather than an AR15 and handgun, there would be no investigation, and possibly no McCloskeys.

The couple’s attorney, Albert Watkins, said in a statement that the McCloskeys didn't arm themselves until after they began feeling threatened [from the threats that were made on their lives and the life of their dog].

"My clients didn't sit on their front stoop with guns. ... No firearms were on them at the time that they, were, as property owners standing in front of their home," he said. "It was not until they basically were in a position of seeing and observing violence, recklessness, lawbreaking, and knowing that the police were not going to be doing anything."

Rather than investigating the McCloskeys, why aren't the authorities being investigated by unbiased outside authorities?
