BREAKING: When you needed a guy to torture and kill men, women and children, nobody could do it better than the Islamic State senior commander, Omar al-Shishani. Unfortunately for ISIS, and fortunately for the rest of the sane world, the Islamic State has confirmed that Omar is dead. Shishani's real name was Tarhan Tayumrazovich Batirashvili--it seems his parents were as sadistic as he was when they named him.
CNN reported the Pentagon was attempting to verify the results of a U.S. airstrike in March near Qaryah, south of Mosul. Officials wouldn't confirm the target and as luck would have it, Omar was in the crosshairs. Shishani was a former sergeant in the Georgian army and became a jihadist after discharge because he "needed something to do with his hands." He joined ISIS in May 2013 and the U.S. Treasury Department put him of the global terrorist list in 2014, an Islamic honor he held until his death. May he rest in pieces. Tweet
Somehow the terrorists have many on the left convinced that we and Israel are the terrorists and that they are our victims. The so-called Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, of the terror sponsoring state of Iran spoke on Sunday to appeal "to the youth in Western countries." The U.S. and Jew-hating Ayatollah accused the U.S. of arming and aiding al Qaeda and other terrorist groups and, since he had the microphone at hand, lashed out against Israel for sponsoring "the worst kind of terrorism against the Palestinians. I suspect that dickweed Khamenei would think better of the Jews if they didn't shoot at the Muslim attackers who were simply trying to stab a Jew or two in accordance with their religious anti-Semitic scripture. "Leave them alone, they're only doing what's been commanded of them by the almighty Allah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam)," he might have said. So the Islamic State terrorists attack Paris and Khamenei verbally attacks the U.S. for sponsoring terrorists across the planet and for oppressing Muslims for their values. Values? Scumcrumpet Khamenei's Iran is launching attacks across the globe and waging war to expand its influence in Syria, Yemen, Lebanon and Iraq. That's called Islamic conquest; it's what they do.
Now Iran's theocratic leader, a moron who judges everything in terms of his brand of Islam, wants Western youth to oppose Israel, a country he believes is worse than any terrorist group operating in the world today.
I imagine he will get enough college-zombies to go along with that kind of thinking. Anti-Semitism is the new avant garde of the left. Sadly, many who fall in line with it are Jews themselves. The reasons for this are psychological and not appropriate for this post. So the Ayatollah wants our kids to embrace Islam. He believes that it is our values and culture that fuels ISIS et al, as if they wouldn't exist without our freedom of expression. That makes as much sense as Obama blaming terrorism on global warming.
"The Islamic State is a JV team, ISIS is not gaining strength, we have them contained, and we are making progress to defeat and destroy them, hey, look what the tooth fairy left under my pillow."
It is almost like an Onion moment to listen to Obama speak about the Islamic State. The only difference is that the Onion knows what they write is satire and parody, but Obama doesn't have a clue about what he says.
In a knee-slapping interview with George Stephanopoulos on ABC's Good Morning America, Obama spoke after a drone strike killed "Jihadi John," the Muslim extremist seen on YouTube beheading foreign captives.
When asked if ISIS was growing in strength Obama replied with a straight face: "I don't think they're gaining strength. What is true is that from the start our goal has been first to contain and we have contained them. They have not gained ground in Iraq, and in Syria they'll come in, they'll leave, but you don't see this systemic march by ISIL across the terrain."
Stephanopoulos sat quietly like a good puppet as Obama continued: "What we have not yet been able to do is to completely decapitate their command and control structures. We've made some progress in trying to reduce the flow of foreign fighters and part of our goal has to be to recruit more effective Sunni partners in Iraq to really go on offense rather than simply engage in defense."
ISIL, aka ISIS, doesn't march across the terrain--they use our vehicles left behind by our fleeing partners.
Let's be real--ISIS has been gaining in strength in spite of our anemic bombing campaign and have gone on to take territory in northern Syria and Ramadi in Iraq. It appears that Mr. Obama is back to smoking weed.
The latest ISIS attack in Paris that killed 129 and injured over 350 others came right after Obama spoke with Stephanopoulos. It shows just how informed he is about the state of the Islamic State and that they are "contained."
It's no wonder why the rest of the world thinks he's weak and is an empty suit.
When Obama bragged that the United States and our allies were going to "degrade and ultimately destroy" the folks who seized large territories in Iraq and Syria, some people may have bought his line of bull.
Since bragging however, he's changed his carefully crafted rhetoric and dropped the "defeat" and "destroy" from his language and inserted "contain" instead. Perhaps he'd like to concede that ISIS went from "JV" to "All Islamic."
ISIS is contained alright--they're contained in at least 8 countries from Afghanistan to Algeria. And the only strength they may have lost is from being tired after downing a Russian passenger jet, pulling off 6 terrorist suicide attacks in France, and committing carnage in Beirut from suicide attacks.
Obama is an insult or a joke--I'm still trying to figure out which one or both.
