DNI Tulsi Gabbard targeting "deep state" intelligence leakers with criminal referrals

Tulsi Gabbard, our new Director of National Intelligence, is swinging a sledgehammer at the deep-state leakers who’ve been treating classified information like it’s gossip at a D.C. cocktail party. In a Wednesday X post that radiated “don’t mess with me” energy, Gabbard dropped a bombshell: she’s recommended charges for a pair of leaks, with a third on deck.

“Politicization of our intelligence and leaking classified information puts our nation’s security at risk and must end. Those who leak classified information will be found and held accountable to the fullest extent of the law,” she said, sounding like she’s ready to personally drag these traitors to court. She’s not playing—Gabbard’s got her sights on a recent Washington Post leak about Iran and Israel, which she flagged back in March when she first vowed to hunt down these slime-balls.

“Today, I referred two intelligence community LEAKS to the Department of Justice for criminal referral, with a third criminal referral on its way, which includes the recent illegal leak to the Washington Post,” she added, making it clear she’s got receipts and isn’t afraid to use them.

No names were dropped, and we’re still waiting to see if the DOJ and FBI will grow a spine and actually pursue charges. Don’t hold your breath, though—those agencies aren’t exactly known for speed.

Gabbard’s not mincing words about the culprits: “These deep-state criminals leaked classified information for partisan political purposes to undermine POTUS’ agenda. I look forward to working with [the DOJ] and [the FBI] to investigate, terminate and prosecute these criminals,” she said, practically daring the swamp to keep testing her.

This is the same Tulsi who traded her Hawaii congressional seat for a combat vet’s grit and a Senate-confirmed DNI gig under Trump, passing with a 52-48 vote in February. She’s got the scars and the resolve to back up her threats. [Remember how the Left said Trump is afraid of strong, intelligent women?]

Flash back to March, when Gabbard first promised to clean house in the sprawling 18-member Intelligence Community—think CIA, NSA, FBI, and military branches. “Our nation’s Intelligence Community must be focused on our national security mission. Politically motivated leaks undermine our national security and the trust of the American people, and will not be tolerated,” she warned on X, sounding like a Parris Island drill instructor fed up with recruits.

“Unfortunately, such leaks have become commonplace with no investigation or accountability. That ends now. We know of and are aggressively pursuing recent leakers from within the Intelligence Community and will hold them accountable,” she added.

She even name-checked some of the media’s favorite leaker landing spots: The Washington Post, HuffPost, The Record, and NBC, where some IC weasel spilled U.S.-Russia intel. “Any unauthorized release of classified information is a violation of the law and will be treated as such,” she capped off, basically etching “you’re toast” on every leaker’s forehead.

This all ties back to a messy episode before The Atlantic’s Jeffrey Goldberg—yeah, that jerk—bragged about snooping on a Signal chat where Trump officials were hashing out airstrikes on Iran-backed Houthi terrorists in Yemen. He should have alerted the chat that he was mistakenly put there, but he didn't and National Security Adviser Mike Waltz took the fall, blaming his iPhone’s “automated suggestion” feature for the breach. The Trump team swears no classified info was spilled, and the boss is standing by Waltz.

Still, it’s a bad look, and Gabbard’s clearly done with the excuses and she plans to kick ass.

Bottom line? Gabbard’s on a mission to plug the leaks and restore some semblance of integrity to our intelligence ops. Whether the DOJ and FBI will match her gusto or just shuffle papers remains to be seen. For now, she’s got the deep state sweating—and that’s a beautiful thing. Keep your powder dry, folks.

MSNBC's Joy Reid walks it back . . . again!

MSNBC's Joy Reid, the black spokeswoman for American blacks who don't actually know the history of the Democratic Party and its relationship with the KKK and the Civil Rights Bill, had to walk back her racially charged comments on conservative David French.

If only conservatives attacked Reid's uninformed accusation she would have never walked it back, but even those on the left realized she was as "full of it" as a dairy farmer's manure-spreader.

It began with French's National Review article that theorized a hypothetical nuclear attack written on the heels of the false alarm in Hawaii last week. French noted that a nuclear blast "would devastate central Honolulu but leave many suburbs intact."

But true to liberal form, Reid didn't read the actual article and instead opted for misleading pickups that were published in the decorative toilet papers known as Newsweek and Raw Story that wasn't news and wasn't the raw story.

These leftist media outlets focused on Trump supporters living in rural areas and it offered Reid the chance to spin the already watered-down versions of French's story to make it about race.

The uninformed but opinionated Reid tweeted:
"We have truly entered the age of insanity when the conservative argument in favor of risking nuclear war is, 'don't worry, it will only kill Democrats and minorities.' Shame on you @DavidAFrench.'"
She was swiftly mocked for her take on the article which she obviously didn't read. And David French called her tweet "misleading and ridiculous."

David French
@DavidAFrench

In the annals of misleading and ridiculous tweets, this takes the cake:

1. I did not argue in favor of risking nuclear war.
2. I never said anything like the words in those quotes.
3. I wrote only in favor of prepping for bad events.

Other than that, the tweet’s great.

David French
@DavidAFrench

Earlier tonight @JoyAnnReid smeared me. She made things up. She claimed I said things I never said and never would say. Can she really believe I’m ok with nuclear war if it kills Democrats and minorities?

When a HuffPost reporter, Yasher Ali, calls Reid's tweet "a totally unfair characterization," you know she screwed up.

Hot Air's John Sexton wrote: "The bit that Joy Reid puts in quotes is not taken from David French's story or even from the Newsweek story. She just made that up."

This is exactly what fake news is.

But Reid blamed @rawstory for the screwup:
"Taking back my take on this - the @rawstory writeup doesn't reflect @DavidAFrench's intent and I think @Aunty_Em would probably agree. David and I disagree on almost everything, but my take on this was off track."
Anyone who Joy Reid disagrees with on almost everything should be proud.

Reid has called Trump supporters "deplorables," and she had to apologize for making homophobic comments in the past while speculating about former Florida governor Charlie Crist's sexual orientation.

She has even said of the Trump presidency that it is the "worst time to be a human." She evidently believes that the Holocaust, slavery and the Black Plague were no big deal.

Because she's an idiot.

HuffPost writer joked about John McCain's impending death

Feinberg's obesity may get her there first
HuffPost senior alleged "reporter" Ashley Feinberg posted a quite disgusting tweet about Senator John McCain (R-AZ) for which she has since apologized. She basically predicted that the senator would die in the near future and would thus leave his family to benefit from an overhauled estate tax.

"Congratulations to John McCain's wife and children on their upcoming tax-free inheritance," the creep Feinberg tweeted Thursday soonafter McCain announced that he would support the Senate Tax Reform bill, designed to put an end to double taxing--that is, taxing funds that had previously been taxed on a property under a particular value.

"After careful thought and consideration, I have decided to support the Senate Tax Reform bill," McCain said in a statement. "I believe this legislation, though far from perfect, would enhance American competitiveness, boost the economy, and provide long-overdue tax relief for middle-class families."

Now that McCain supports the bill, there is a decent chance for it to pass as it faces a likely final vote.

The HuffPost leftist thought it was now a good time to tweet to her followers that the senator from Arizona is undergoing treatment for brain cancer.

McCain went public in July that he was diagnosed with glioblastoma. "The prognosis is very, very serious," he said on CBS's "60 Minutes" in September.

The Senate bill would not eliminate the estate tax, but it would double the exemption. It's a tax on the transfer of property after someone's death. The property in question must exceed a certain dollar value for the tax to be applicable.

After normal people (aka conservatives and some independents) slammed Feinberg for her mean-spirited comment, she deleted her tweet and apologized.

"I shouldn't have been glib and callous in pointing out that John McCain's family stands to benefit massively from the estate tax provision in the tax bill he's voting on this week, and I am sorry for that," she lied. "I deleted the tweet it's not worth it."

That last sentence reveals exactly how she really feels about her disgusting comment. If it was worth it, if there was no blowback, she would have likely doubled down on it.

Feinberg and the HuffPost did not immediately respond for requests of additional information by the media.
