USDA Investigating CA for gener mutilation of kids and hiding gender identity

The US Department of Agriculture is working with the Department of Education in an investigation of California's state law prohibiting school officials from sharing a child's "gender identity" with parents, The Daily Wire reported exclusively.

Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins informed California Governor Gavin Newsom of the move in a letter sent Thursday evening, the outlet reported.

“This is to inform you that, at the direction of President Donald J. Trump, the United States Department of Agriculture is undertaking a review of its research and other education-related funding in California for compliance with the Constitution, federal laws including Titles VI and IX, and the priorities of the Trump Administration,” Rollins wrote.

Rollina tols Newsom that her department will work with other agencies to ensure the sate is in compliance with the U.S. Constitution, federal laws (including Titles VI and IX), as well as the administration's priorities.

The USDA is supporting the DOE’s investigation into the California Department of Education for violations of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).

“As the ED reported today, FERPA gives parents the right to access their children’s education records, but the California Department of Education has allegedly abdicated the responsibilities FERPA imposes, due to a new California state law that prohibits school personnel from disclosing records about a child’s ‘gender identity’ to that child’s parent,” Rollins wrote.

Why it's almost as if the state of California wants to be the 'parent' that raises California's children.

“USDA will support ED’s investigation and efforts to vigorously protect parents’ rights and ensure that students do not fall victim to a radical transgender ideology that often leads to family alienation and irreversible medical interventions,” she added, adding: “Similarly, we will be reviewing our federal funding with respect to other related matters under investigation.”

The move comes almost immediately after the Education Department’s Student Privacy Policy Office announced an investigation into the California Department of Education (CDE) for “alleged violations” of FERPA, which “gives parents the right to access their children’s educational data.”

C'mon--what gives parents the right to know what's going on in their child's life? Who do they think they are anyway . . . teachers?

The Education Department said Thursday that CDE has “abdicated the responsibilities FERPA imposes” due to California’s law prohibiting school officials from sharing information about a child’s supposed “gender identity” with parents.

In a release, the department said that it has reason to believe that numerous local educational agencies in California may be violating FERPA as they socially transition kids in school and hide their activities from parents. While this doesn't constitute the death penalty, it should result in a serious period of incarceration.

Given the number of local educational agencies involved, the Education Department said, it is concerned that CDE is playing a role in the “widespread adoption of these practices.”

“Teachers and school counselors should not be in the business of advising minors entrusted to their care on consequential decisions about their sexual identity and mental health. That responsibility and privilege lies with a parent or trusted loved one,” Secretary of Education Linda McMahon said in a statement on Thursday. “It is not only immoral but also potentially in contradiction with federal law for California schools to hide crucial information about a student’s wellbeing from parents and guardians.”

“The agency launched today’s investigation to vigorously protect parents’ rights and ensure that students do not fall victim to a radical transgender ideology that often leads to family alienation and irreversible medical interventions,” she added.

California schemin' on such a pleasant day.

President Trump to sign EO to dismantle the Dept. of Education

While COVID basically ended the education of students for several years so that teachers could catch a break from teaching, TRUMP is expected to sign an executive order ending the Department of Education that supported the teachers over the kids. This is a move that will fulfill one of his main promises made on the campaign trail.

A summary of the order in USA Today shows that it directs Education Secretary Linda McMahon to take “all necessary steps to facilitate the closure of the Department of Education and return education authority to the States.”

But make no. mistake; the order clearly directs the “uninterrupted delivery of services, programs, and benefits on which Americans rely.”

McMahon was confirmed as Education Secretary earlier this month, but Trump previously said he hoped she would put herself “out of a job.” The good news is she doesn't need the money.

A number of Republican governors, advocates for parental rights in education, and others are expected to be at the signing on Thursday. Trump's promise to close the DoE was met with cheers when he campaigned on the issue.

“I say it all the time, I’m dying to get back to do this. We will ultimately eliminate the federal Department of Education,” Trump said at a September rally in Wisconsin. “We will drain the government education swamp and stop the abuse of your taxpayer dollars to indoctrinate America’s youth with all sorts of things that you don’t want to have our youth hearing.”

No longer will children face learning loss over the cowardice of the DoE nor will gender identity changes and Critical Race Theory be pushed into their developing minds. Parents will no longer be kept in the dark about their child's education.

The department has already thus far eliminated about half its staff and recently terminated more than $600,000,000 in grants for training teachers in "divisive ideologies" such as anti-racism, social justice activism, and hiring teachers based on race rather than merit.

What a concept.

The order “will empower parents, states, and communities to take control and improve outcomes for all students,” Harrison Fields, White House principal deputy press secretary, said in a statement, adding that recent test scores from the National Assessment of Educational Progress exam “reveal a national crisis ‒ our children are falling behind.”

The U.S. ranked 34th in mathematics with an average score of 465 (on a scale from 0 to 1,000), which is below the OECD average of 472. Top performers like Singapore (575), Hong Kong (540), and Japan (536) significantly outpace the U.S., representing a gap of roughly two to three years of schooling. Notably, about 30% of U.S. students scored below Level 2, considered the baseline for basic proficiency, compared to just 8% in Singapore.

Reading scores placed our students in 12th position, somewhat better than math, but not so great when it comes to "bang of our buck" spent on American education.

If you would like to support my work, you can Buy Me A Coffee or subscribe. Thank you.

President Jimmy Carter established the useless Department of Education in 1979, and while it would require an act of Congress to totally eliminate it, Trump's executive order is slated to dismantle the department for now.

Trump’s order will certainly face legal challenges from critics like teachers’ unions, who are more concerned about themselves rather than the children, and have been clear that they want the DoE to stay so they can play at being educators of the American young.

Jewish organizations abandon anti-Semitism meeting with Dept. of Ed. after they ambushed them with leftist groups

On Friday, Jewish organizations pulled out of what was supposed to be a high-level meeting with the Department of Education aimed at dealing with anti-Semitism on campuses across the country. The reason they refused to participate in the farce was due to the addition of far-left groups at the last minute.  It was designed to be an ambush but it didn't work. [H/T Fox News Digital.]

The Jewish Insider reported that the groups which "either did not participate in or dropped off the call" included the Anti-Defamation League, the Jewish Federations of North America, Hillel International, the Orthodox Union, the Louis D. Brandeis Center for Human Rights Under Law, and the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations.

The decision to forgo the gotcha get-together was made shortly before the 10 a.m. meeting between the Jewish groups and Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona, White House Domestic Policy Adviser Neera Tanden, along with other senior officials.

According to Jewish Insider, government officials sent out a list of participating organizations literally 20 minutes prior to the meeting. The list "included a number of left-wing groups not usually included in White House convenings," prompting the last-minute withdrawal.

The meeting with the Department of Education continued as scheduled, but a separate meeting for the objecting organizations took place Friday afternoon.

According to Jewish Insider, the mainstream Jewish organizations took particular issue with the invitation of the Diaspora Alliance, which is "closely aligned with the far-left Jewish activist group IfNotNow," a title they stole from Jewish philosopher Hillel the Elder.

The group IfNotNow is an anti-Israel [fake] Jewish organization that has a history of staging protests by blocking highways and inconveniencing people. Its website pretends Israel has an "apartheid system" and states that the Jewish nation "massacres Palestinians in Gaza." They don't mention what the Gazans did on October 7, 2023, as if Israel has no right to fight back from the real genocidal scumbags.

IfNotNow also released a letter of support [yes, a few of them know how to write] for the anti-Semite agitators at Columbia University and other New York colleges this week, calling them, "brave students [who] have spoken up in solidarity with Palestinians as they face a genocide in which our country and their universities are complicit."

So the Department of Education has made a name for itself, but the name is nothing to brag about.

BREAKING: Ilhan Omar being investigated by ICE and FBI for criminal allegations, report says

Full-blown anti-Semite and not a big fan of Americans, marital loyalty and the U.S. Constitution, Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) is being investigated by several federal agencies regarding alleged felonies centering around her marriages.

Last year, TheBlaze's David Steinberg reported that "the Department of Justice had assigned an FBI Special Agent in Charge, or SAC, to review Rep. Ilhan Omar’s apparent, astonishing spree of felonies from 2009 to 2017.”

According to TheBlaze, the “FBI SAC stated that the wide range of criminal activity suggested by the evidence against Rep. Omar may lead the FBI to expand the review to other federal departments.”

But more recently, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) along with the Department of Education inspector general have also joined in the investigation. Not so surprisingly, the mainstream media have shown no interest in the case.

Steinberg has extensively covered the criminal allegations against Omar for many months while at PJ Media and writing for TheBlaze, he reported that ICE's involvement at this time is in regard to "questions about [Rep. Omar's 2009 marriage]" which allegedly includes "eight instances of perjury, immigration fraud, marriage fraud, up to eight years of state and federal tax fraud, two years of federal student loan fraud, and even bigamy."

The Department of Education inspector general is reportedly looking into Omar’s 2009 marriage to a British citizen to determine if it was “an attempt to facilitate federal student loan fraud, or other fraud involving higher education.”

The Minnesota Star Tribune reported the following timeline of Omar’s disconcerting marital history:

1982: Ilhan Omar is born in Somalia, the youngest of seven children.

1997: Omar settles in the Cedar-Riverside neighborhood of Minneapolis after fleeing Somalia’s civil war with her family and spending four years in a refugee camp in Kenya.

2002: Omar,19, marries Ahmed Hirsi, 22, in their “faith tradition” in Minnesota, but they don’t legally marry.

2008: Omar and Hirsi, now have two children, but reach an “impasse in our life together” and divorce in their faith tradition. Apparently they wanted to "move on."

2009: Omar, now 26, marries Ahmed Nur Said Elmi, 23, whom she identifies only as a “British citizen,” and physically looks remarkably like her. School records show he attended high school in St. Paul and studied art at North Dakota State University. [A British citizen?]

2011: Omar and Elmi end their marriage and divorce in their Muslim faith tradition, but do not legally divorce until 2017.

2012: Omar and Hirsi reconcile and have a third child together out of wedlock, because nothing says reconciling like having another child by the person you divorced once before.

2014–15: Omar files joint tax returns with Hirsi while still being legally married to Elmi [who physically looks remarkably like her],  though Omar and Hirsi are not legally married and Omar remains legally married to Elmi.

2016: Omar is endorsed by the Democratic Farmer Labor party over longtime incumbent Phyllis Kahn. Omar is elected to the Minnesota House, becoming the first Somali-American-anti-Semitic-Muslim legislator in the United States. However, her campaign is rocked by allegations in a Somali news forum and the conservative Power Line blog suggesting that Elmi [who physically looks remarkably like her] is her brother and they married for unspecified immigration benefits.

2017: Omar is granted a legal divorce from her alleged brother, Elmi.

2018: Omar legally marries Hirsi again and is elected to Congress, because nothing says "Democrat" than marrying your sibling for the benefits.

The Star Tribune’s  June 2019 report stated that newly surfaced “investigative documents released by a state agency have given fresh life to lingering questions about the marital history of Rep. Ilhan Omar and whether she once married a man — possibly her own brother — to skirt immigration laws.”

Omar denies the allegations and calls them conspiracy theories, but she has refused to answer any questions regarding the matter and also refuses to turn over any proof to the media that could absolve her and debunk the claims.

Another conspiracy theory is that she is currently involved in an extra-marital affair with her campaign adviser, Timothy Mynett. She has filed for divorce again with Hirsi, again.

Minnesota state Rep. Steve Drazkowski (R) had previously filed a complaint [on the alleged criminal matters] with the Minnesota District of the Department of Justice, which is headed by U.S. Attorney Erica MacDonald, a 2018 Trump appointee. That office directed the FBI to review the complaint, and an FBI agent met with Drazkowski in mid-October to receive a prepared file of evidence and related information.

According to TheBlaze, the FBI has taken further steps in the case.

It looks like no amount of "Benjamins" will help Omar get our of this quagmire she allegedly created.

All that money spent and nothing changed

According to a report just released by the Department of Education (DOE), the Obama administration gave over $7 BILLION in an education program first begun by Pres. George W. Bush, and it was found to have made the same difference on student achievement that it would have made if they just handed the Department of Education a bag of chips instead.

Seven billion is the same as seven thousand million. It would take about 221 years to count that high by ones every second . . . that's a lot of time and a lot of chips.

The DOE's findings were contained in the "School Improvement Grants: Implementation and Effectiveness" report and may spark the debate over national education policy as the Senate considers Betsy DeVos to head the department. She is an outspoken champion of school choice and had questioned the way federal education dollars are spent, and should be to her advantage in terms of her confirmation.

The School Improvement Grants (SIG) program was introduced under the G.W. Bush administration in 2001. Its purpose was to fund school reforms in the country's lowest-performing schools. Its goal was to improve student achievement in test scores and graduation rates.

The program threw money at the schools with low academic achievement and graduation rates under 60 percent for high schools. SIG was canceled under recent legislation, but similar funding can still be sought by school districts who believe that if you do the same thing over and over and still get the same results, you just have to keep at it.

SIG was first funded in 2007 and got $616 million under Bush.

In 2009, under Obama, he designated $3.5 BILLION to the program and pumped over $500 million annually for the rest of his time in office trying to turn us into Europe. And the more money pumped in, the more nothing changed.

The DOE report focused on data from about 500 schools in 22 states receiving SIG money and concluded the program had "no significant impact" on reading or math test scores; high school graduation; or college enrollment.

Researchers of the study focused on districts with larger samples of schools, and these schools tended to be more urban and more disadvantaged. They decided to put as much money as possible into the program to make it work, "which led us to this dramatic report: what happened was what has always happened in the past," said then-Secretary Arne Duncan.

So they knew it was a lost cause and proceeded anyway.

DeVos believes charter schools need more funding and full autonomy.

In cities like New York, charter schools do very well because they're not under the union thumb and principals can hire and fire based on ability and performance. Unions tend to protect the weakest link in the proverbial chain and "burnt-out" teachers abound.

But the best solution to the problem of school achievement begins at home: family values would change everything and single-parent families need to become the exception, not the norm.

FBI evidently confronted Eric "Boom Boom" Swalwell over the weekend and hoo boy

It has been a rough stretch for former Rep. Eric "Boom Boom" Swalwell . You know, the guy who's known for the fart heard round...
