IDF gets Hezbollah terrorist's goat--or rather gives him 72 goats as a reward in Lebanon strike

The Israeli military said Saturday it carried out a targeted strike in Lebanon that killed Ali Hassan Shaib, whom it identified as a member of Hezbollah’s Radwan Force intelligence unit who operated under the guise of a journalist to support attacks against Israeli forces, Arutz Sheva reported.

According to the IDF, Shaib was affiliated with Hezbollah’s Radwan Force and worked for years posing as a journalist for the Al-Manar network while gathering intelligence on Israeli troop positions in southern Lebanon and along the border.

The military said he maintained ongoing contact with other terrorists in the Radwan Force and across the broader Hezbollah organization.

The strike took place Saturday afternoon, with the IDF describing Shaib as actively involved in exposing the locations of Israeli soldiers during ongoing operations.

The military said he continued these activities even during Operation Roaring Lion, reporting on IDF troop movements in southern Lebanon.

In addition to intelligence activities, the IDF said Shaib used his position to promote Hezbollah messaging and incite against Israeli troops and civilians by disseminating propaganda materials.The military framed the operation as part of its broader campaign against Hezbollah, which it said has joined attacks on Israel while operating in coordination with Iran.

“The IDF will continue to operate with determination against Hezbollah, which chose to join the attacks on Israel and operate on behalf of the Iranian terror regime,” a statement read. “The IDF will not allow harm to the residents of Israel.”

The announcement comes amid ongoing Israeli operations in southern Lebanon tied to Operation Roaring Lion, as fighting continues along the northern front.

Hamas celebrates drive-by shooting: pregnant woman is critically wounded

Israel -- Seven Israelis were wounded on Sunday in a drive-by shooting near Ofra, about 13 miles from Jerusalem. One victim is a 21-year-old pregnant woman who is in critical condition and taken to Shaare Zedek Hospital.

Her baby was successfully delivered and is in a "premie" ward. The mother is undergoing surgery.

The Times of Israel interviewd a surgeon, Dr. Alon Schwartz, who said that the woman had "lost a lot of blood" as a result of the gunshot wound to her stomach.

The jihad shooting was a call for celebration by Palestinian Hamassholes.

According to an IDF spokesperson quoted by Arutz Sheva: "Following the previous report regarding the shooting attack adjacent to the Ofra Junction, shots were fired from a passing Palestinian vehicle towards Israeli civilians who were standing at the bus station. IDF troops who were present nearby responded by firing towards the suspect vehicle, which fled."

Avi Mayer, assistant executive director for the American Jewish Community (AJC), reported on the incident in several tweets:

Shehab, a Hamas-linked news agency, tweeted the following after the attack:

"Hamas: We value the blessed firing, which points to the presence of resistance in the occupied West Bank despite the ongoing attempts to eradicate it, and demonstrates the ability of the resistance to hurt the enemy and penetrate its fortifications in its most sensitive security positions."

Yes, to Hamassholes, the enemy is all Jews. If you shoot a pregnant Jew, you get a bonus virgin when you die.

Mayer noted that "this is the same Hamas that the UN General Assembly couldn't bring itself to condemn just a few days ago."

This hatred is inbred and it's religious. It will not end anytime soon.

Obama Threatened Israel? Probably Not

It is reprehensible that an American president would threaten to shoot down the war planes of an ally in the process of defending itself against the nuclear ambitions of Iran. Yet this was reported by Mark Langfan reported for Arutz Sheva, March 1, 2015. If the report is true, this is the first time an American president acted in this fashion. One thing for certain, knowing how Obama feels about Israel, the report is plausible. However, there is a strong possibility that the report is false, which I will explain at the end.

The article reported that Ma'an, a Bethlehem news agency cited a Kuwaiti report on Saturday saying that in 2014, President Obama threatened to shoot down Israeli fighter jets, before reaching their targets, if they attacked Iran's nuclear facilities.

Netanyahu had come to the decision about defending his country when he learned that Obama and Iran were involved in secret talks over Iran's program and were about to sign an agreement behind Bibi's back.

An unnamed Israeli minister allegedly told John Swiftboat Kerry who then told Barack Hussein Obama, who then said he would shoot down the Israeli jets before they could reach Iran. (Of course Obama wouldn't personally shoot down anything, heck, the guy can't even make an unguarded 3-point shot.) 

But Netanyahu wisely canceled the attack as it would have led to far worse consequences.

What kind of leader warns an ally that they will be attacked for trying to prevent a nuclear holocaust by a mutual enemy? 

Perhaps the answer is that Obama doesn't see Iran as an enemy or a threat to our nation, and he doesn't really give a damn if they're a threat to Israel, a country he obviously hates.

Iran is very clear in their messaging: "Death to America." What is there about that statement that makes Obama think they're just joshing?

But did Obama, in fact, tell Israel that if they attacked Iran's nuclear facilities he would shoot down his fighter jets? Probably not.

PJ Media was told by a high-level military source that the report, which first came from Kuwait, was most likely disinformation to discredit Netanyahu at a time when he plans to address Congress. This would make Bibi seem like a warmonger. 

The source said that since 2008, the U.S. can no longer intercept Israeli jets flying over Southern Iraq. Also, we don't have the facilities in place anymore, and besides, the Saudis have agreed to allow Israel to fly over their territory if they attacked Iran.

U.S. fighter pilots might have trouble attacking Israeli fighter pilots as the two nations have often trained together and they are seen as allies--well, maybe not to Obama.

The source said that the most practical way for Obama to stop an Israeli attack on Iran would be to warn Iran in advance--this would delight the likes of Valerie Jarrett--but it would have to be done without alerting the Pentagon. However, the source added that Israel has probably already thought of that.
