Wrapping Up on the Convention

Well, there's only sixty days to go until the election.  The outcome will determine the direction of the country--will we go in the direction that Obama wants us to go, where the government will rule and the individual will be treated like a suckling savant? Or will we continue to be the light of the world, where free enterprise and motivation to succeed still exists?

When I was growing up in New York me and my little comrades were taught that Communism was evil, Russia was our enemy, and saluting the flag was something we did in morning to start our school day because it was patriotic.  Being patriotic is so uncool and right wing, and we are told that American exceptionalism is nothing more than any other kind of exceptionalism.   Now we have a POTUS who is moving us over to the left where we are being forced to pay for things we didn't ask for, and our religious beliefs are being compromised by unconstitutional policies.

If Obama was a true patriot he would drop out of the race and hand over the reins to Mitt Romney.  He would not want to see the country go in the direction it's heading and would swallow his pride and bow out.  But egos don't concede defeat easily, and defeat is too harsh a blow to someone like Obama.  It's also not how the political game is played.

It is so imperative that conservatives not only vote in this election, but get others to vote.  We are not simply running against the Democrats, we are also running against dead voters.

Duh DNC Platform & Other Flushings

The DNC showed their true colors last night.  They are divided on the issues of Israel and God, and as to whether either should be part of their political platform.  It seems like Obama had no clue about this--the leader of the Democratic party--and even Debbie Wasserman Schultz, head of the DNC, knew nothing about anything regarding this omission, but a motion was taken on the floor and the Arab constituency on the floor yelled their "nays" as loud as the "yeas" from others.  Ms. Wasserman Schultz has been known to know little and to lie lots--more on that in a minute.

Hiding Hatred

What is even more troubling than the fact that the left is divided in their support over our ally, Israel, and has shown a marked propensity for supporting Islamic states, but that the Democrats can't even agree on issues, don't know how these issues came about, and voted on them in a manner reminiscent of a regime--it was definitely not a two thirds majority vote either way, but the Teleprompter made the decision for the outcome.  It's a bit frightening that liberals don't really care about what the majority wants and cares only for what their agendas dictate.  It's even more frightening that American Jews still, as a group, tend to be liberal without thinking about the policies of the Obama administration, his love affair with a religion whose daily prayers call for the death of the Jews, and who has done nothing to show real support for Israel, in spite of his empty claims otherwise.

Bill Clinton's speech, while very charismatic, was snake oil in a can.  Obama has not created 4 million jobs and Obama did not save the auto industry--he took taxpayer money to bail it out and even now they are on shaky ground.  These are just a few of the lies--there are plenty of conservative blogs out there that have fact checked all of Clinton's speech.

Tweedledee and Tweedledumb

But it's my favorite balderdash dolly, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, who best represents what liberals mean to me.  Debbie told a reporter that Michael Oren said what the Republicans are doing for Israel is dangerous.  Then when Michael Oren denied that he said any such thing about the Republicans, she said that the reporter was lying and that she never made that claim.  She didn't know that she was being recorded when she spoke to the reporter and was caught in the lie.  Of course, she refused to apologize to the reporter but will probably lie about that too.

In a few hours of this writing, Barack Hussein Obama will make his acceptance speech for the nomination.  I predict that he will not have a mea culpa moment, just like I predicted that it would not rain in Charlotte and the indoor venue was being used to avoid the embarrassment of empty chairs.

We shall see and we shall hope and pray this guy is a one term wonder.

Why Obama Will Win Re-election

I want to be very clear right from the outset: I do not, under any circumstances, want Barack Hussein Obama to win re-election as President of the United States of America.  I want Hussein to be ushered out of the White House, preferably in handcuffs, and at the very least with his head hung down.  But just because I want this, as do many other conservatives, doesn't mean it will happen.

Let's look at what the conservatives are up against.  There's the mainstream media who ask questions to questionable people like Sandra Fluke (pronounced Fluck) as CNN just did: "Does Limbaugh calling you a slut, reflect Romney and the Republican party?" There was probably a time when CNN actually produced a modicum of journalistic quality, but those days are long gone and the questions they now ask are framed to make the Republican party look like a bunch of angry old white racist who kill abortion doctors and want women to die.  Okay, maybe CNN isn't as outlandish with their anti-conservative messaging, but you get the idea.

Then there's Chris Matthews, Keith Olbermann, Rachel Maddow, Soledad O'Brien, and Lawrence O'Donnell (to name a few) whose political allegiances are so far to the left, you'd think they attended the  Karl Marx Institute of Selective Journalism.  Then you have the New York Times, a paper that has become better served as parakeet birdcage liner than something to take seriously.

Most young people, (you might know them as the Obama Zombies, a term coined by Jason Mattera) get their news from Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert, and it's fairly obvious where they stand.  If you watched Michele Obama's speech you saw the zombies crying and swaying to her words, captivated by her description of how she and Barack, both poor Ivy League school attendees, had to get their furniture from dumpsters while he drove her in a rusty old car  to health food restaurants.  Her speech had a fantastic delivery and I even wept when it occurred to me that Barack might get re-elected and perhaps pull a "Bloomberg" and pass a bill for a third term for himself.  I saw a "Double-Bloomberg" as a possibility and that scared the crap out of me.

But media support is only one factor as to why I believe Obama will retain his title of Worst President Ever.

The biggest factor that will sway the election back to Barack is his celebrity and his likeability.  He is smooth when he sings, when he appears on celebrity TV and is asked butterball questions: "What's your favorite color?"  A better question might be: "Who funded your Harvard education and why have you sealed all your school records upon taking office?"  These questions will never be asked by the mainstream media.  

And with his celebrity comes the support of other celebrities like Roseann Barr, George Clooney, and Communist lover, Sean Penn. Liberals love these folks and since liberals don't vote based on facts, Barack will likely win the Barr Clooney Penn platform.

Luckily, I am often wrong about races, political and otherwise, and I hope that change will come and Mitt Romney will win the presidency.  

I like Horsemeat In A Can in the 4th at Belmont to win, and Romney on the 6th in November.

Conventional Wisdomless

Tuesday, the big day for the Dems and the DNC.  Yes, the party of George Wallace, John Edwards, Eliott Spitzer, and Anthony Weiner (to name a few), is convening in Charlotte, North Carolina, and their goal is to re-elect Barack Hussein Obama once again as the leader in hope and change.  The Dems are trying to get Betty White, the 90 year old sweetheart of the tubes and Obama supporter, to speak at the convention like Clint Eastwood did on behalf of Mitt Romney.  I think that's a good strategy because she is so well-liked by the public.  But I believe that Clint's use of the "empty chair" as Obama will be difficult to beat.  If I had a choice as to what Clint might have used as an Obama prop it probably wouldn't have been the empty chair, but instead, I would have used the empty suit prop.

The King of America has nothing good to show for his four years as king and Biden as his jester.  The unemployment rate has not dropped significantly since he took the oath of office, swearing to uphold the Constitution of the United States but instead confusing it with Sharia law.  If for some god-forsaken reason this man gets re-elected I am confident he will continue to match his current record of economic debt, high unemployment, socialistic policies that fund his political supporters and regulate the hell out of non-green corporations that would have otherwise done well in America but will pull up ties and leave the country.

If we elect Obama again, I would worry about who we are as a nation that we can make that same mistake twice. If we do not vote at all come November, then we will get what we deserve.  Just imagine, if you will, a case in which Obama is no longer able to be President and Biden gets the position. This is an example of Obama's judgment.

Let's do our best to stamp out racism and vote out the party that started it. Vote Republican, the party of Lincoln, not Democrat, where the party is in Anthony Weiner's pants.  The word is out that Harry Reid will be jumping out of a cake dressed as Sandra Fluke.

Go Ahead, Make My Convention

Clint Eastwood made my day.  His off the cuff speech, while less polished than a standard political speech, was a breath of fresh air compared to the negative diatribes and cries of racism from the left.  Okay, maybe not a breath of fresh air, maybe a bit on the edge of sounding zany with the 'empty chair' Obama remarks, but Clint is not a politician and spoke as an American.

The left has and will continue to attack Clint Eastwood, calling him the symbol of the Republican party: an old, white man.  Do you notice how often the left talks about race?  They can't get enough of it.  Race is the only platform the left thinks is clear and the best reason to vote for them.  

Back when BO was running for POTUS they said if you didn't vote for him you were a racist.  Not much choice to avoid that label, eh?  Of course, that is exactly how the left wants everyone to feel when it comes to the election.  Now the left is coming up with a list of code words the conservatives are supposed to be using--they will always remained focused on race because it is the left who are the actual racists, as they were from back in the days of Jim Crow, the Dixiecrats, and the KKK.

Clint Eastwood was perfect in his imperfection and the left will make him into a silly old man, but that's because they're scared.  They believe they have the movie star market cornered and if Clint Eastwood spoke on behalf of Mitt Romney, well there just has to be something wrong with him.  Maybe it's his age--after all, he is 82 and he looked it last night.  Maybe it's his mind.  Yes, I believe that's what it must be.  Clint Eastwood has the mind of a patriotic American.  As for me, I see Barack Hussein Obama as the furthest thing from a patriotic American as possible for a person in public office, much less as President of the United States.

Questioning the Media

If Ann Romney cannot understand what it's like for the poor in America, how does Obama understand this better than she?  The mainstream media is busy trying to get this message out, but I have faith that Americans are smarter than these liberals think they are. 

Obama is far from poor and this was not a recent phenomenon. Anyone who thinks Obama understands what it's like to be struggling to make ends meet can only be thinking this way because they are looking at Obama through a racially biased filter--he's black, therefore he, better than Ann Romney, can understand what it's like being poor. Nonsense.  Obama acts like a man of leisure, playing over 100 rounds of golf while the country tanks, flying separate from his wife on vacations paid for by the tax payers (who mostly are made up of the 1% he claims are not paying their fair share), and his wife wears expensive clothes while the media denounces Ann Romney for doing the same.

But the media is guilty of far worse than simply backing the Democrats; they refused to report responsibly on events the public had the right to know.  Specifically, MSNBC did not air the speeches of Mia Love, Artur Davis or Ted Cruz at the Republican National Convention. They did not want the hundred or so liberals who watch MSNBC to see people of color or an Hispanic man, actually support the Republican nominee.  You see, the liberal media still want you to believe that the Democrats are the party for blacks and Hispanics, but if you know your history, you know better.

Condoleezza  Rice is slated to speak at the convention tonight.  I wonder how many mainstream media stations will somehow find something more important to cover than the speech of the most important African American woman in our country.  Maybe they'll switch to Rachel Maddow or Keith Oblermann or Chris Matthews, or Lawrence O'Donnell to discuss their fair and unbiased opinions of Mitt and Paul.

Lance or Neil: Which Armstrong For You?

The effects of drugs on human body

 Which Armstrong would you rather be: Lance or Neil?  Here you have the choice of being famous for your sports prowess, the trophies and medals, your fierce, relentless battle with cancer, and your great fame, or having the choice of being the first person to walk on the moon and speak one of the most famous sentences in American history. The choice is yours.

Of course you might quip that Neil is dead, but that isn't what I'm really talking about. I'm referring to character and class.

It's hard for me to believe that such a fierce competitor like Lance Armstrong would give up a fight against what  he says is a false accusation. Lance swears his innocence but is quitting the fight to defend his good name. Perhaps the fact that a number of his peers are willing to testify against him has something to do with his putting on the brakes, so to speak. Lack of courage, or just plain guilt?

The effects of courage on human body

Neil, on the other hand, will never be doubted for his courage. Imagine the pure guts it takes to "go where no man had gone before." To venture into space, to ride a rocket, to pursue the moon, to never be certain of the outcome, now that takes courage and yes, a great deal of patriotism. 

But Neil, a Navy pilot who flew 78 combat missions in the Korean War, a graduate of Purdue University, aeronautical engineer, never wanted to be in the public eye and only appeared once on a segment of "60 Minutes" back in 2006. He never won a bike race either--he just flew where no man had gone before, along with Buzz Aldrin and Mike Collins.

I somehow suspect that if Neil Armstrong was ever accused of faking something that he actually accomplished, he would have not given up so easily to his accusers. But Lance isn't cut from the same cloth as Neil.  You can't fake a moon landing unless you're a conspiracy theorist who believes everything can be faked, like a person whose father, step-father and school records all say Muslim, but who claims to be Christian and still attacks the Christian faith with obvious policies that show disfavor. Neil Armstrong wasn't a fake and definitely was a real hero. Lance Armstrong, as far as I can tell, isn't a hero and definitely is a fake. How sad--he made us so proud when he won all those Tour de France races.

The San Andreas Is Bush's Fault

Nothing on the schedule today so what did the President of the United States do?  Shot hoops with NBA stars and judging from the video, I can probably kick his ass in the key, and I'm old.

Obama is still blaming Bush for the economy in spite of his statement where he said he'd be a one term president if it remained the same or worse.  It's worse by trillions; a number that, if counting one second at a time, would take over 32 thousand years to reach. One trillion dollars, if put into one hundred dollar bills and made into stacks seven feet high, would cover an entire football field.  It's more money than you can wrap your brain around.  There comes a time when you just cannot continue blaming GW Bush for Obama's ineptness, and you cannot begin to compare GW's worth ethic to the loser in the White House.

But imagine if Joe Biden had to take over for Hussein Obama.  Imagine the fun the world would have with the Village Idiot at the helm.  Sure, everyone makes a gaffe now and then (even our brilliant FLOTUS, Michelle Obama, told Democratic voters to be sure and get out the vote on November 2nd when Election Day is on the 6th), but Biden is an actual buffoon.  Biden as POTUS would be a big F'ing deal--the Vice President would fail a mental status test for time and place.  But the media doesn't discuss that--it's a non-issue to them because if the media actually was unbiased, every gaffe would be pointed out; every failure, like Solyndra and Sun Power would be grist for the mill; facts would actually be checked and it would be obvious how Obama has put America into the worst fiscal crisis ever known to us, and Joe Biden would be our total ruin.  Bin Laden was hoping to kill Obama so that Biden would lead the nation into ruin, and while it's a good thing this never happened, the thought scares the hell out of me.  If it doesn't scare you, you aren't paying attention.
