Susan "Four Pinocchio" Rice

Susan Rice does not have a close relationship with Truth. She thinks Truth is a fickle friend who changes opinions as often as Hillary Clinton comes up with a new excuse for losing a presidential election to a TV personality.

Just a few months ago Rice claimed Bashar al-Assad (the 'ad' is silent) regime "voluntarily and verifiably" gave up its stockpile of chemical weapons. On Monday, The Washington Post fact-checker gave Rice "four pinocchios"--the absolutely worst rating on the truth scale, or best rating on the lying scale, depending how you see the glass.

"The reality is that there were continued chemical-weapons attacks by Syria," the left-leaning tabloid wrote.

Another so-called fact-checking website, PolitiFact, also retracted its "mostly true" rating they assigned to a 2014 claim from then-Secretary of State John "Hair-plugs" Kerry that "100 percent" of those weapons were removed from Syria.

But that was back in 2014 when truth didn't matter as much in the Obama administration.

Rice's claim, on the other hand, was more recent and under a new administration where truth matters a little more, depending on who's doing the talking. She told NPR that the Obama administration was able to "find a solution" on Syria that didn't require the use of force when Obama's 'red line' was crossed--Obama dealt with it using diplomacy.

But diplomacy worked no better than Obamacare. Both were miserable failures, as was both terms of his presidency.

"We were able to get the Syrian government to voluntarily and verifiably give up its chemical weapons stockpile," Rice claimed falsely.

Unfortunately, Assad was able to scrounge up enough sarin nerve gas to kill dozens of his own people, which prompted President Trump to smack him down with 59 Cruise Tomahawk missiles at the airfield from where the gas was flown.

The Washington Post wrote "the Obama administration had a tendency to oversell what was accomplished, perhaps because Obama received so much criticism for not following through on an attack if Syria crossed what Obama had called 'a red line.'"

"The reality is that there were continued chemical-weapons attacks by Syria--and that U.S. and international officials had good evidence that Syria had not been completely forthcoming in its declaration and possibly retained sarin and VX nerve agent," the Post wrote.

In other words, Rice and Kerry lied to make Obama sound as if he had 'a pair' leading from the front.

Using Rice's words, the Post column ruled: "She did not explain that Syria's declaration was believed to be incomplete and thus was not fully verified--and that the Syrian government still attacked citizens with chemical weapons not covered by the 2013 agreement. That tipped her wordsmithing toward a Four."

Sanctions on Iran to be imposed by US

Now that Iran has for at least the twelfth time violated UN resolution 2231, and Donald Trump has replaced Barack Obama as president, the United States is expected to announce new sanctions on multiple Iranian entities will be imposed on the largest terrorist-funding nation. The exact nature of these sanctions may be announced as early as Friday.

Any new sanctions would not violate the Iran nuclear deal of 2015, but would be related directly to terrorism-related activities and ballistic missile-related activities that are under separate U.S. executive orders that are in existence.

Earlier in the week, national security adviser Michael Flynn put Iran "on notice." This was echoed on Thursday by President Trump and we have made it clear that the U.S. will act against Iran unless it ceases ballistic missile testing and supporting the Houthi rebels in Yemen.

Trump tweeted, "Iran has been formally PUT ON NOTICE for firing a ballistic missile. Should have been thankful for the terrible deal the U.S. made with them!"

Disappointed!

The President wrote another tweet saying: "Iran was on its last legs and ready to collapse until the U.S. came along and gave it a life-line in the form of the Iran Deal: $150 billion."

President Trump had the money figure wrong--the Obama badministration gave Iran access to about $100 billion of its own money that had been frozen in foreign bank accounts. We did not give them any of our own money.

On Wednesday, when Flynn said: "As of today, we are officially putting Iran on notice," he had accused them of threatening our allies and spreading instability throughout the Middle East and faulting the Obama badministration for doing too little.

Flynn wasn't specific by what he meant by "on notice," but senior Trump officials said they were seriously considering a "range of options." These include economic measures and greater support for Iran's adversaries. It is not clear what, if any, military measures are being considered.

Iran's acting commander of the Revolutionary Guard, General Hossein Salami told Tasnim news agency that Iran will "never change direction by a world power's demand, and our missile and non-missile power will be updated every day."

He made no mention of the return of the Twelfth Imam and the Iranian people's willingness to die to speed up 'the end of times.'

A majority of Shi'ite Muslims believe in the "12th Imam" born in 868 A.D. and that he was place by God into hiding (known as occultation) until the day of judgment. Many Shi'ites refer to the 12 Imam as the Mahdi (Arabic for "messiah" or "guide").

Though Islam cannot say when the 12th Imam will make his grand entrance again, they think when he comes, he will end the misery of his people.

Ray Tallman, director of the school of intercultural studies at Golden Gate Seminary said the major eschatological question for Shi'ite Muslims is when the Mahdi's return will take place, and many believe the time is near.

Former Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad not only believes in the return of the Mahdi, but that the return is the responsibility of the Iranian government to prepare the country for his return.

In spite of the fact that Shi'ites and Sunnis frequently battle each other, they both have common efforts to destroy Israel, which is a critical part of Islam taking over the world and ushering in the Mahdi.

So you can imagine the Iranians are not afraid of developing nuclear weaponry and using it. In fact, many of the more religious Shi'ites welcome the idea of doing so to bring the 12th Imam out of the "religious closet,' so to speak.

What the Trump administration is doing is totally necessary to weaken this crazy nation of wannabe Paradise-dwellers. They are putting them on notice telling them they need to rething their behavior.

We are not going to stand for it anymore and we're not going to be predictable, like the guy who came before Trump and took his red crayons with him when he left.

Kerry's advice on the UK-EU divorce

U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry told Britain and the European Union to manage their own divorce like he did: responsibly. He said it would be for the sake of citizens and the global markets.

Kerry kept harping on how important it was for the two entities (UK and EU) to cooperate, like he did during the divorce of his first wife, Julia Thorne, who he married in 1970 and divorced in 1988. She passed away in 2006 after having remarried in 1997 to Richard Charlesworth.

Kerry's second marriage to Teresa Heinz fetched him big bucks and free ketchup.

He said that, like a friend of both parties divorcing, he would let both capitals know that the U.S. loves them and will stay friends, just not in each other's company as that would be uncomfortable.

True to form, Kerry had no actual ideas how the divorced couple should make deal with the decision of the UK to go through with the divorce and leave the 28-nation bloc. But nobody on either side of the pond is surprised by Kerry's lack of ideas.

"The most important thing is that all of us, as leaders, work together to provide as much continuity, as much stability, as much certainty as possible," Kerry said, running out of "as much as" ideas in his repetitious babbling.

Kerry had met in Rome with Italian Foreign Minister Paolo Gentiloni, offering to buy the Italian official a slice of pizza, as he pandered in the spirit of Hillary Clinton when she told an African-American audience that she always carries hot sauce in her purse.

He said that responsible handling of the situation, one that President Obama tried to pressure the UK not to take, will help "the marketplace understand that there are ways to minimize disruption, there are ways to smartly move ahead in order to protect the values and interests that we share."

But Mr. Kerry could offer no examples of any values or interests he referred to.

We have yet to hear from Donald Trump as to what he thinks of John Kerry's thoughts.

When President Obama visited Britain in April of this year, he warned the Britons that if they voted to "leave" the EU, they would be kicked to the back of the line for trade negotiations. He didn't use exactly those words, but after all, he's not as openly blunt as Trump, as not as transparent as he said he would be.

Since Britain refused to be intimidated by Mr. Obama and voted to leave the EU and return to their roots, strengthen their immigration and be England again, our so-called leader from behind president and other officials have changed their tune. Now they've emphasized how strong and durable our relationship is, and played down the idea that the Obama administration would actually do anything they said they might.

Remember the "red line" that Syria's Bashar al-Assad better not cross?

Maybe they should have made it yellow.
