Trump pulls funding from Maine's Dept. of Corrections for putting dude in women's prison

You can put lipstick on a pig but it's still a pig. You can put feces in an ice cream cone and call it chocolate, but guess what; it's still feces. You can put a man with lipstick, long hair, and a dress in a women's prison; but he's still a man.

Andrew Balcer, 26, is a man convicted of double murder. Andy is currently housed in a women’s prison in Maine.

So for that, the Justice Department has pulled all nonessential federal funding from Maine’s Department of Corrections, Attorney General Pam Bondi said Tuesday.

“We pulled all nonessential funding from the Department of Corrections in Maine because they were allowing a man in a women’s prison,” the AG said Tuesday. “A giant, 6-foot-1, 245-pound guy, who committed a double murder with a knife, stabbed his parents to death and the family dog, and he identified as a woman, so they were letting him be housed in a female prison.”

“No longer,” she added. “We will pull your funding. We will protect women in prison.”

Maine’s Department of Corrections is slated to lose more than $1 million in federal grants, and hopefully that will be sufficient to have the Governor remove her head from her nether regions.

In February, Bondi sent a letter to Maine officials warning them to stop allowing trans-identifying males in women’s sports or face legal action. She sent similar letters to California and Minnesota.

“We will leverage every legal option necessary to ensure state compliance with federal law and President Trump’s executive order protecting women’s sports,” Bondi said. 

Her letter came after President Donald Trump had a tense back and forth with Maine Governor Janet Mills, a woke Democrat, at a White House dinner. Trump warned Mills that her state would lose federal funding if it refused to comply with his executive order protecting women’s sports.

“You better do it because you’re not gonna get any federal funding,” Trump told Mills. “Your population doesn’t want men playing in women’s sports.” Her response was to threaten to see him in court, which for Trump, is laughable.

Since then, Maine is facing federal action on other fronts over gender ideology.

The federal Department of Agriculture froze Maine’s funds over Maine continuing to allow males to play in women’s sports. Maine’s attorney general responded by suing the Department of Agriculture over the funding freeze.

Meanwhile, the Departments of Education and Health and Human Services have said that Maine’s transgender sports policies violate Title IX. 

Worse still, women and girls are getting physically hurt in competition with men.

The Education Department has given Maine until April 11 to submit a solution before the situation is referred to the Justice Department.

Also last week, the Education Department launched a new task force targeting the “staggering” number of Title IX complaints the administration is receiving. Investigators and Justice Department attorneys will look into potential violations. 

Men who call themselves women, have become increasingly common in women’s prisons. One male prisoner in New Jersey who was convicted of manslaughter was only transferred out of a women’s prison after he impregnated two female inmates.

Gov. Hochul releases convicts from prisons after firings of officers during shortage

New York Democrat Gov. Kathy Hochul fired thousands of correction officers after they went on strike over dangerous work conditions, and now, after she has created the shortage, she's releasing hundreds of convicts. In other words, she created the problem and now has created another one to handle the problem she created.

New York State Department of Corrections (DOCCS) Commissioner Daniel Martuscello released a memo on Monday, ordering prison superintendents to start figuring out which inmates qualify for early release, per new rules. Who are they to release: those who only killed one person? Those who have been convicted only four times of DUI? Domestic violence offenders? Politicians?

“In view of the current staffing crisis, and in order to have the appropriate balance between safety and well-being of those working and residing in DOCCS Correctional Facilities and public safety, it is appropriate that I, as Commissioner, exercise my authority pursuant to … move individuals from the Department’s general conferment facilities, into Residential Treatment outcount status,” the memo states.

Hochul, hoping to put a bandaid on an arterial bleed, approved the memo, with the governor’s spokesman Matt Janiszewski saying that her “top priority is the safety and well-being of all New Yorkers.” And if you believe that, you might think Jimmy Hoffa is buried below home plate in Yankee Stadium.

“The Governor is aware of Commissioner Martuscello’s memo and supports his efforts to safely address staffing shortages and personnel concerns,” Janiszewski added.

Hochul was criticized for the move, especially considering the debacle is her fault. 

Rep. Mike Lawler (R-NY) called Hochul’s decision to back the early release of some inmates “a dangerous misstep that puts all New Yorkers at risk.”

But decisions like Hochul's rarely if ever affect the politicians who make them. 

“Albany Democrats’ pro-criminal policies, like the HALT Act, have crippled our prisons, leaving them understaffed and unsafe while crime surges in our communities,” Lawler’s statement said. “We need leaders who will tackle tough problems head-on, not resort to quick fixes that compromise the safety of law-abiding citizens. New Yorkers deserve better than policies that prioritize criminals over victims.”

“Kathy Hochul closed prisons and fired prison guards and now — citing overcrowding and insufficient staff — is releasing convicts from prison, just in time to buy favor with pro-criminal Democrats in the Assembly and Senate,” Rochester-based journalist and radio host Bob Lonsberry reacted. “What a funny coincidence.”

Any crimes committed by any of the releasees is on Hochul's empty head.

AOC: to stop crime, stop building prisons; to stop sickness, stop building hospitals

You don't have to be a genius to know that Rep. Alexandria Obviously-Comatose (D-NY) is a functioning imbecile. Her solution to stem the surge of violent crime is to stop building prisons. 

Using Comatose's logic, the best way to fight sickness is to stop building hospitals; to stop stupidity, get rid of the Democratic Party. Okay, the last one wasn't her idea.

With calls for defunding, and thus abolishing the police nation-wide, violent crime has risen faster than Joe Biden's libido at a junior high school dance. In Chicago, with Democratic Mayor Lori Lightfoot, shootings are up 36% over last year with homicides up by 19%. But if Illinois would only get rid of their prisons and police, criminals would realize they have no place to go if they somehow get caught by a concerned social worker and will forgo doing the crime because he can't do the time.

Makes perfect sense . . . if you''re an imbecile.

In South Carolina, murders were up about 25% in 2020 from 2019; and the 571 murders are the highest total since the state started recording those numbers back in 1960. 

As of May 7, homicides in Atlanta, GA, where Democrat Keisha Lance Bottoms is mayor, are up approximately 60% compared to the same time period last year. 

Across 34 U.S. cities, a study shows that homicides have jumped by 24% in the first quarter of this year compared to the same time period last year, and they are up 49% compared to the first quarter of 2019. And in 63 of 66 largest cities in the U.S., increases in at least one category of violent crimes have increased in 2020.

In AOC's New York City, the murder rate soared by 47% last year, and now it's up 17% this year. Best solution: get rid of cops and prisons and the statistics will show no crime reported. AOC claims the reason crime went up last year was because people were shoplifting bread.

Yes, she is an imbecile, but a socialist imbecile, so that's okay, she thinks.

 Speaking to the reason(s) crime had spike, AOC said: "Maybe this has to do with the fact that people aren't paying their rent and are scared to pay their rent. And so they go out and they need to feed their child and they don't have money so you... maybe have to... they're put in a position... they feel like they either need to shoplift some bread or go hungry that night."

Yes, just ask any 18-year-old gangbanger why he shot up a liquor store or looted a Target or Walmart and he'll tell you it's to feed his child and pay the rent because, hey, you never want to get behind in the rent.

Violent crime recorded in NYC show that shootings are up 73% over last year at the same time and there has been a 35% increase in grand larceny and 20% rise in felony assault.

 On Thursday, Ocasio-Cortez presented a solution to the daunting explosion of violent crime.

"If we want to reduce the number of people in our jails, the answer is to stop building more of them. … It's to support communities, not throw them away," the cretin in lipstick said at a press conference.

She continued, "Our complete gutting of support in our mental health system both in this city and across the country is absolutely correlated with both homelessness and incidents of violent crime."

"It is not acceptable for us to use jails as garbage bins for human beings," AOC added. "We need to treat people and see them as human," [excluding Republicans]. 

"The answer is to make sure we actually build more hospitals, we pay organizers, we get people mental health care," she said. "It's to support communities, not throw them away."

Thus, AOC is assuming that all people who commit violent crimes are mentally ill or poor. She fails to understand the fun rioters and gangbangers have looting and shooting, because she her thinking is either too simplistic or her agenda is to destroy the current American systems of justice that exist.

Some on social media recognized the depth of AOC's stupidity and reacted.

National Review senior writer David Harsanyi ridiculed AOC's proposal, "I am going to stop buying scales. It's the only real way to lose weight."




Freelance journalist Zaid Jilani reacted by saying, "This is actually really wrong, many prisoners are overcrowded and antiquated, simply blocking the construction of new ones is inhumane. And you can talk all you want about just having fewer prisoners but you aren't going to get any significant drop overnight, everyone knows that."

"I'm not playing coy or anything like that. I'm still very much in a place where I'm trying to decide what is the most effective thing I can do to help our Congress, our [political] process, and our country actually address the issues of climate change, health care, wage inequality, etc.," she said, after noting how badly her own grandmother has it in Puerto Rico but failing to help her on a personal level, instead blaming Trump.

AOC, who some believe may actually be mentally challenged but hides it very well, has also called for defunding the police and previously attacked New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio's (D) proposal to cut nearly $1 billion from the New York City Police Department by saying it doesn't go far enough, and "defunding police means defunding police." In other words, abolishing the police altogether.

Yeah, that should lower the crime rate.

It used to be "if you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor, yadda yadda." Now it's everyone getting covered under this law, including the law-breakers. Yes, Obamacare is now being extended to cover prison inmates by the states. They will cover prisoner's costs by using a provision allowing states to shift the cost to the federal government. Neat trick--robbing us to pay them.

Of course, this includes mental health programs--and that's a good thing for prisoners because there is an inordinately high incidence of mental illness among this population like there is with the Democratic party.
