Putin flips us off by arresting U.S.-Russian citizen for donating $50 to Ukrainian charity

The Russian government has arrested Ksenia Karelina, a 33-year-old U.S. citizen, on charges of treason for simply donating a few dollars to a Ukrainian charity. This appears to be Putin's way of flipping off the United States, simply because he can and not worry that our president, a man who practically qualifies having his likeness on US paper currency if he were not so incompetent, would do anything about it.

The Federal Security Service (FSB) said in a statement that it arrested Ms. Karelina for donating $51.80 to Razom, a New York-based charity that sends assistance to Ukraine. The FSB is similar to our FBI in the US and they are obviously bias in their assessment of the situation.

“Since February 2022, she has been proactively collecting funds in the interests of one of the Ukrainian organizations, which were subsequently used to purchase tactical medicine items, equipment, weapons and ammunition by the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” the FSB said.

She was arrested in Yekaterinburg, a city in central Russia, after returning home to visit her family. If convicted, she faces up to 20 years in prison. She became a U.S. citizen in 2021 and should now be considered a hostage of the Putin government.

Her mother-in-law and ex-husband are begging the Biden administration to help get her freed so she can return to the U.S. Since she is not Israeli, it's more likely that Biden's handlers would do more to assuage the situation but don't count on it.

“We are all in shock,” Eleonora Srebroski, Karelina’s former mother-in-law, told the New York Post. “She is just a wonderful soul. She would never do anything evil to anyone. Knowing Ksenia, she would never do anything criminal. We are so worried because we are reading stories about [Alexei] Navalny’s supporters arrested for mourning him. Her mom and dad had recently divorced and she wanted to see the family.”

Former newspaper, The New York Times reported that she was charged with treason on February 7. It seems that 7 is no longer a lucky number for innocent people nowadays.

It was unclear how Russia knew that she allegedly donated money to the charity as it does not make records public in accordance with U.S. privacy laws.

“Razom is appalled by reports that a U.S.-Russian dual national has been arrested by Russian authorities for purportedly making a charitable donation to Razom for Ukraine in the immediate aftermath of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine,” Razom CEO Dora Chomiak said.

“Russian President Vladimir Putin has repeatedly shown that he holds no sovereign border, foreign nationality, or international treaty above his own narrow interest. His regime attacks civil society activists who stand up for freedom and democracy. Razom calls on the U.S. government to continue to do everything in its power to demand that President Putin release all those unjustly detained by Russia and to hold Russia’s political and military leadership accountable for their unprovoked invasion of Ukraine,” she added.

Karelina worked in Los Angeles as an aesthetician [a person who deals with beauty and art] and spa manager [a person who often deals with fat people] at a Beverly Hills hotel.

Cheer Up: Michael Avenatti was arrested

If you're feeling down in the proverbial dumps and nothing seems to be going right this week, cheer up--the feds arrested porn lawyer and CNN hopeful for the 2020 Democratic presidential candidate Michael Avenatti.

Avenatti was arrested by Internal Revenue Service agents on Tuesday night during a break in a disciplinary hearing in Los Angeles over allegations the high-profile shyster scammed his client out of $840,000.

The arrest went down around 6 p.m. outside the State Bar Court, where the State Bar of California has initiated proceedings against him.

“I can confirm that he was arrested by federal agents," Avenatti's lawyer Dean Steward said. "I anticipate a bail hearing at 2 p.m. tomorrow in Magistrate's Court in Santa Ana. I haven't seen the details of the warrant, but should have it later this evening.“

It isn't certain that CNN has reported this story yet because nobody watches CNN and thus no information was available regarding their garbage reporting.

Avenatti did not return to the court when the hearing resumed possibly because he was indisposed. His attorneys called for a sidebar with the judge and said he would not be able to return due to circumstances related to a criminal matter in Orange County.

The former so-called lawyer for sex performer Stormy Daniels is accused of fraud, cheating on his taxes and lying to investigators. Federal prosecutors allege that he embezzled funds from clients. He has pleaded not guilty to the charges.

Thom Mrozek, a spokesman for the U.S. Attorney's Office in Los Angeles, told Fox News that Avenatti was arrested on suspicion of violating his pre-trial release, but specific details were not made clear.

"I do expect him to appear in federal court in Santa Ana tomorrow," he said, adding that documents related to the arrest were under seal.

Hearts are being broken as this is being written. Rachel Maddow, the entire staff at CNN, Chris Matthews--heck, Chrissy is practically in tears now that he and Mikey will not be going for that cup of coffee Matthews suggested.

Avenatti was scheduled to travel to New York on Tuesday night for his criminal trial over his alleged plot to extort $25 million from sports apparel giant Nike.

At least in his mind, nothing he has ever done was anything less than not guilty. Just ask Stormy Daniels how she feels about him. When a porn performer see you as a low-life, well, it doesn't get much lower.

BREAKING: Assange arrested by British police after Ecuador withdrew his asylum

WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange was arrested by British police Thursday moments after Ecuador announced it withdrew his asylum for “repeatedly violating international conventions and protocol.”

He is wanted in Sweden for sexual misconduct and in the United States for exposing highly confidential information through fellow scumbag, Chelsea Manning, a former U.S. Army member who provided Assange with the information, and who thinks he's a woman.

Ecuadoran Foreign Minister Jose Valencia told Teleamazonas this week that living indefinitely in the embassy is harmful for Assange’s "state of mind, his health,” but that the POS has a right to a fair trial and right to a defense.

London's Metropolitan Police said earlier this month that they would arrest Assange if he were freed. They did.

Assange faces possible extradition to the U.S. for publishing thousands of classified military and diplomatic cables through WikiLeaks.

Assange, 47, has been in the embassy since 2012 when British courts ordered him extradited to Sweden to face questioning in a sexual assault case. That matter has since been dropped, but Wikileaks is facing a federal grand jury investigation over its publication of American diplomatic and military secrets during the Iraq War. It was the largest classified information dump in U.S. history and put many lives at risk.

Assange, an Australian native, was arrested on a Westminster Magistrates’ Court warrant which was issued on June 29, 2012, for failing to surrender to court, Metropolitan Police said in a statement.

“The MPS had a duty to execute the warrant, on behalf of Westminster Magistrates' Court, and was invited into the embassy by the Ambassador, following the Ecuadorian government's withdrawal of asylum,” the statement said.

UK Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt thanked the Ecuadorean government for their cooperation with the Assange arrest.

"Julian Assange is no hero and no one is above the law. He has hidden from the truth for years," Hunt tweeted. "Thank you Ecuador and President @Lenin Moreno for your cooperation with @foreignoffice to ensure Assange faces justice."

“This man is a son, a father, a brother. [So was Stalin.] He has won dozens of journalism awards. [So has CNN.] He's been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize every year since 2010 [because the Nobel Peace Prize committee is so suck-worthy they gave Yassar Arafat, Al Gore and Barack Obama the award, and in the latter case, after only being in office a few months, having accomplished nothing.] Powerful actors, including CIA, are engaged in a sophisticated effort to dehumanise, delegitimize and imprison him,” WikiLeaks tweeted.

Assange is no hero. Chelsea Manning is no hero. The left says they are heroes because the left has a hatred for the country and Western Civilization in general.

This is a developing story.
