5 Iranians captured at US northern border

The border crisis just got a lot scarier. A Customs and Border Protection (CBP) spokesman confirmed Tuesday that Border Patrol agents nabbed five Iranians trying to sneak across the U.S.-Canada border near Champlain, New York.

That’s right, our northern border, not the usual southern flashpoint. And these weren’t just random migrants. As counterterrorism expert Jonathan Gilliam warned Fox News Digital, Iranian sleeper cells could already be "hiding in plain sight”" in the U.S., especially after Iran’s recent threats against America following U.S. airstrikes on its nuclear sites June 22.

By the way, where has Reza Aslan been hiding lately?

CBP’s Swanton Sector, covering the rural Vermont area near Highway 89, posted the details on Facebook: "On July 1, Border Patrol Agents from the Champlain, New York Station, responded to suspicious activity near Mooers Forks, NY. where the noisy cows go.

Agents located a minivan occupied by five citizens of Iran and two citizens of Uzbekistan." All seven had prior arrests for illegal border crossings and are now detained, awaiting deportation. CBP didn’t mince words: Border security is national security and directly correlates to public safety, Swanton Sector Agents remain vigilant and committed to protecting our borders and enforcing immigration laws."

But let’s talk about the bigger picture. Gilliam, a former FBI special agent and terrorism task force member, didn’t hold back when he told Fox News, "Where these sleeper cells may be is in plain sight. And that's the real terrifying part of this is that putting people in place, as we've seen over the past four years, everyone's scrambling because certain amounts of people could come in here and get in here."

He’s not wrong. The Biden administration’s border policies, joke that they were, have left the door wide open. Gilliam pointed out the absurdity: "They could even go to the border and say they [want to] seek asylum, and the Biden administration, instead of putting them into DHS housing or ICE housing and holding them there so they could have their first appearance. To be vetted and whether or not they get asylum."

This isn’t just speculation. The State Department’s 2023 terrorism report, released last December, laid out a chilling pattern of Iranian operatives stirring trouble in Western countries. Take this example: "In 2023 the U.S. Department of Justice unsealed an indictment charging three individuals connected with Iran in a plot to assassinate an Iranian dissident in New York City." Or this one: "Also in 2023, a United Kingdom court found a man guilty of attempting to collect information for terrorist purposes on the London-based Iran International, a media company that is critical of the Iranian regime."

And it’s not just the U.S. and UK, there's also Albania, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Denmark. They have all had to deal with Iranian plots, from arrests to expulsions to foiled assassinations.

Iran’s not playing games. Just look at the anti-Israeli rally in Tehran on June 20, where worshippers saluted Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, unified in their rage against Israel, and, by extension, us.

With our northern border now a revolving door for potential threats, you have to wonder: How many more are already here, blending into the chaos Biden’s policies have enabled? CBP’s doing its job, but they’re fighting a flood with a cereal bowl.

When will the White House wake up?

More information on the NYC attack

According to the police complaint against Sayfullo Habibullaevic Saipov, the 29-year-old Muslim terrorist started planning the attack almost a year ago. The complaint says the POS watched and was inspired by ISIS videos.

There were two cellphones in the rented truck--one of them had about 90 violent ISIS propaganda videos and some had information on how to make a bomb.

Thankfully Saipov never made one.

According to John Miller, deputy NY police commissioner for intelligence said that Saipov "appears to have followed, almost exactly to a 'T', the instructions that ISIS has put out."

On Friday, ISIS took credit for the attack but they would take credit for anything they could get away with.

In all probability, Saipov communicated to other ISIS scumquats and leaders who probably supported, encouraged and perhaps even aided him in carrying out the attack. Terrorist "cells" don't have to be in close geographic proximity now with the internet, which is their greatest recruiting tool.

An accomplice suspect, Mukhammadzoir Kadirov, a 32-year-old Uzbekistan national with a long first name, was found and questioned by police. "We have found him and I'll leave it at that," William Sweeney, head of the New York FBI office said. He has not been charged with a crime and has condemned the attack, which is as predictable as a sunrise.

Saipov attended the Omar Mosque near his apartment in Paterson, N.J. This is one of the mosques and Islamic organizations that were being monitored by the NYPD. However, due to pressure from Islamic organizations such as the Council of American-Islamic Relations, an organization that is an arm of the Muslim Brotherhood, the NYPD no longer has a surveillance program but is politically correct.

The Omar Mosque had been under surveillance since 2006 because it was suspected of influencing Muslims to commit acts of terror. In 2011 the Associated Press won a Pulitzer Prize for a series of articles that made public the NYPD surveillance program. This created a smear campaign of misinformation from Islamists and their allies about the NYPD's anti-terrorism efforts.

By 2014, the NYPD was pressured to get rid of the program, which they did. Islamist agitator and anti-Semitic Musima, Linda Sarsour, was one of the primary activists in the campaign against the program.

Eight people are dead and it may have been prevented if not for political correctness and Islamists like Sarsour who claimed the program "created psychological warfare in our community."

But facts are stubborn things and they consistently showed the NYPD wasn't casting a wide net over Muslims just to nab a few terrorists. Their surveillance targets were chosen based on concrete information and even won bi-partisan approval at the time, with Sen. Chuck "Nostrils" Schumer endorsing then NYPD Commissioner Ray Kelly to lead the Department of Homeland Security.

Saipov was interviewed by law enforcement and asked if he could display an ISIS flag in the hospital room. According to the police complaint, he told officials "he felt good about what he had done."

Perhaps they should provide him with an ISIS flag . . . and force him to eat it.

There is no doubt whatsoever that what Saipov did was based on Islamic ideology adopted by ISIS. Investigators recovered about a dozen pieces of paper with Arabic writing praising ISIS. "ISIS will endure," one said.

Saipov said that he would have liked to have continued the attack with his truck, killing more infidels, but he couldn't once he crashed into a school bus.

Linda Sarsour may just send him flowers with a 'Get Well' card.

Uzbekistan Muslim planned terror attack for weeks

Sayfulio Saipov, 29, an Uzbekistan Muslim, bragged to officials in the hospital that he was "proud" of the attack he perpetrated Tuesday. The attack took place along the West Side Highway bike and pedestrian path in the shadow of the World Trade Center in lower Manhattan. Saipov killed 8 people and injured 11 in the name of Allah.

Saipov had gone online to research how to go about killing people with a truck weeks ago and did prior reconnaissance before he carried out the carnage. Law enforcement had his internet search on record but nothing had been done to stop him.

President Trump wants to halt the Diversity Visa Program that allows 50,000 unvetted people into the country, which is akin to Russian Roulette. Saipov came to the United States through that program--it does not vet individuals.

Trump also wants to get rid of chain migration. He said the current system is "not nice," but refused to say it was "naughty."

Just days prior to the attack on innocent people, ISIS encouraged its mentally ill followers to carry out Halloween attacks.

NYPD's Deputy Commissioner of Intelligence and Counterterrorism said Saipov, who came to the U.S. in March 2010, had planned the attack for weeks.

A note was discovered in Saipov's rented truck that said in Arabic, "Islamic State would endure forever."

Miller said the scum crumpet followed "almost to a T" the instructions put out by ISIS on how to carry out a vehicle attack. Several knives were found in the rental truck, but it's believed Saipov didn't use them in the assault.

The FBI entered Saipov's home in Paterson, N.J. and left with several bags of evidence. Officials said that his relatives were being interviewed but added nothing more.

Saipov's name "popped up" connecting him with a few people who were known to law enforcement when his name was run through their databases.

New York Gov. Cuomo and NYC Mayor De Blasio spoke at an NYPD press conference and basically said nothing other than to whom their thoughts and hearts were going out to.

"There was no grand statement that was done. It was an act of a coward," Cuomo said.

Was it an act of a coward?

I believe it was an act of a religious fanatic who takes the Islamic 'holy book,' the Koran, literally.

Obama gives free pass to religious freedom violators

If you're an Islamic nation and not a direct enemy of the US, you're allowed to violate the religious freedom of non-Muslims because Obama said so, International Religious Freedom Act  (IRFA) be damned.

Thus, if you're a Christian in Saudi Arabia, and your Bible is discovered, the Islamic government can take it from you and burn it, as they do with all non-Islamic religious items entering the country.

Obama and his Islamophiliacs have waived punitive restrictions for violating religious freedom in Saudi Arabia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. But restrictions remain in place for Iran, Burma, China, Eritrea, North Korea and Sudan. The reason Obama's administration gave for the waivers is that national security concerns trumps the IRFA.

State Department spokes-puppet John Kirby said Burma, China, Eritrea, Iran, North Korea, Sudan, Saudi Arabia, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan would be re-designated as Countries of Particular Concern under the IRFA.

"These designations help us shine a spotlight on countries and conditions that require the international community's attention," Kirby said before going to the ground and facing Mecca. Then he got up and lied: "Today and every day, as you know, we are committed to working with governments and civil society organizations, and individuals to achieve our shared interest in promoting peace and stability through, in part, the promotion and protection of all human rights including religious freedom."

Of course this lie flies in the face of women in Muslim countries who are treated worse than cattle, and Christians who are often killed, their churches torched and gays who are thrown from buildings or beheaded by these theocratic countries, because that's what it says to do in the Koran.

But Kirby and his ilk lie for Obama and do it with a straight face.
