Dem. PA election official now sorry for her comments regarding illegal votes as recount begins

Not Jill Biden

A Democrat election official in Pennsylvania claimed that court precedent "doesn't matter in this country" and that she was going to count the illegal votes of non-citizens in the state for the U.S. Senate race as the recount begins.

In a meeting last week, Bucks County Commissioner Diane Ellis-Marseglia, a Democrat [of course] voted to count provisional ballots that were missing one of two required voter signatures, which is illegal and she was knew this after being told by a county attorney that the Pennsylvania Supreme Court had previously ruled that the ballots cannot be counted.

David McCormick

"We all know that precedent by a court doesn’t matter anymore in this country and people violate laws any time they want," Ellis-Marseglia said in a viral clip on social media. "So for me, if I violate this law, it’s because I want a court to pay attention to it. There is nothing more important than counting votes."

Citizen of PA were livid and she faced them at a packed meeting where she tried to hang onto her job and read out an apology on Wednesday while people called out for her to resign.
"Last Thursday, when I spoke at the meeting that you’re all here about, the passion in my heart got the best of me, and I apologize again for that. That was a hearing, and we were talking about provisional ballots. We were specifically talking about the fact that there were certain provisional ballots where a judge of elections did not sign and did not make sure that a voter signed on the outside envelope. To me, it was frustrating and unconscionable that we would have to take away somebody’s vote not because they made a mistake, but because an employee, one of our members … one of the judges of elections didn’t know what to do or forgot or made a mistake. That issue that I spoke on has now gone viral from my comments. It was genuinely not the best words. I would do it all again. I feel terrible about it. I should have been more clear, please, I will be more clear in the future."
She claimed that her reference to court precedent related to the U.S. Supreme Court's overturning of Roe v Wade – a bs claim that drew loud groans from the crowd.
"I remind you all that we all say things that are out of turn, we all made mistakes. I made a mistake! And because I am an election official, I am held to a far higher standard than everybody else. When I inartfully spoke and used the word precedent when I was talking about provisional ballots, I was referring to the United States Supreme Court, and the precedent that has been lost on many issues including Roe v. Wade."
The public booed her and loudly groaned as she pounded her gavel and said,  "If you would just bear with me for one more minute!" She continued:
"Unfortunately, I took my frustration out on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, many of whom are friends of mine who I respect, and whose decisions are complicated and difficult and important. We are all going to learn lessons from this new media landscape. And most of all, I am. I am a small fish in this big pond. I do not have a megaphone on Twitter or CNN, or I am not a secretary of state, I don't run a presidential campaign. This is the only opportunity that I have had to set the record straight."
Ellis-Marseglia claimed she received messages from hundreds of people, and "all of them involved horrible, horrible expletives," and many of them included death threats against her and her family, she maintained. Whether or not this is true is unclear.

Bob Casey

When Ellis-Marseglia first spoke, conservatives blasted her for her threatening to break the law.

Pennsylvania's state Supreme Court on Monday weighed in on a flashpoint amid ongoing vote counting in the U.S. Senate election between Democratic Sen. Bob Casey and Republican David McCormick, ordering counties not to count mail-in ballots that lack a correct handwritten date on the return envelope. Casey has refused to concede the race, which The Associated Press called in favor of McCormick earlier this month, Fox News reported.

Gov. Josh Shapiro (D-PA) said a lack of legal clarity regarding the ballots and how they're to be counted, puts county officials in a tenuous position where they were "damned if they did and damned if they didn’t — likely facing legal action no matter which decision they made on counting."

McCormick currently leads by .24% as of Thursday morning, according to Pennsylvania's election results website. A recount is triggered under state law by a margin of .5% or lower. The statewide recount began Wednesday morning. It must conclude by Nov. 26.

May the force be with McCormick.

PA Dems continue to be jerks over vote count in Casey Senate defeat

The GOP is livid with the Pennsylvania Democrats for refusing to concede the U.S. Senate race. They focused on three-term Democrat Sen. Bob Casey pointing out that he's asked for a recount that will cost the Pennsylvania taxpayers over a million dollars and they argue that it's a "blatant" violation of state law.

But when has a violation of the law ever been a problem with the Left?

The Associated Press had declared David McCormick (R) the winner by a narrow margin and that didn't seem to matter to Casey and his ilk.

McCormick's unofficial margin of victory stands at roughly 26,000 votes, or within the 0.5% threshold required under Pennsylvania law to trigger an automatic recount.

Bob Casey

Last week Pennsylvania Secretary of State Al Schmidt said that the state would proceed with the recount, and noted that counties across the state had reported a total of some 80,000 uncounted provisional, mail-in ballots.

The recount began Monday and will continue through Nov. 26, Schmidt said, while the GOP officials argued that the results have been decisive and that Casey lacks achievable path to victory in the recount.

Casey, like many politicians, is narcissistic and doesn't seem to care about the cost of the recount.

"What’s taking place in these counties is absolute lawlessness," Pennsylvania Republican Party Chair Lawrence Tabas said of the recount.

Results of the recount are slated to be announced Nov. 27.

I hope the Republicans have a happy Thanksgiving.

Deadspin and Dustin Foote calls High School Valedictorian Herschel Walker a "MAGA idiot"

The left is having conniption fits, worried that Herschel Walker, the famous NCAA, NFL great, may run on the Republican ticket for the U.S. Senate. So instead of arguing policy, Democratic hack Dustin Foote and Deadspin are calling him a "MAGA idiot."

Obviously they don't know much about him other than the threat he poses.

Herschel attended Johnson County High School in Wrightsville, GA. He was a star football player but also played basketball and ran track. He played football for the Johnson County Trojans high school football team, rushed for 3,167 yards and helped the team win their first state championship. In 1979 he was awarded the inaugural Dial Award as national high school scholar-athlete of the year.

And beyond sports, Walker was also his high school valedictorian and has a degree in criminal justice. So as far as idiots go, Herschel Walker was a failure.

In spite of Walker's intelligence and conservative values, Deadspin selected him for their 2020 "Idiots of the Year," citing the fact that he believes in God and is a good friend of former President Trump. So everyone who refuses to hate Trump's political accomplishments, his pro-life stance, is an idiot as far as Deadspin is concerned.

Deadspin and Democrat fart weasel Dustin Foote is on high alert over news reports that former President Donald Trump urged Walker to run for the U.S. Senate in Georgia. They know if he runs, he's one hell of a runner and will likely score.

The fact that Deadspin has an "Idiot List" should tell you a lot about people who believe that anyone with a different opinion than theirs has to be stupid. Anyone with the inability to understand that there is always more than one way to view the world is a better-suited candidate for that list than Herschel Walker.

“For the rest of y’all, I regret to inform you that Herschel Walker is considering a run for U.S. Senate next year.

Walker is the potential opponent of not-so Rev. Raphael Warnock, a pro-abortion Black Democrat elected in January to finish out the last two years of a term that expires next year. How can anyone who calls themself a Christian, especially a Christian minister who also believes in killing babies in the womb, call themself a true Christian?

Foote sarcastically wrote, “If elected, Walker would bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to Washington. He had a nine-week stint on the Celebrity Apprentice, and he may have picked up a few leadership tricks from a former USFL owner (Trump).”

Interesting how Foote didn't compare Walker's lack of political experience to Warnock's, who can't even get his religion right and has no political experience either. The biggest difference between the two men is that Walker's name recognition and reputation far outshines Warnock's by miles.

The disgusting hit piece also cited a tweet Walker posted asking GOP leaders why they weren't supporting President Trump as the election was coming to a head last December.

But the nastiest piece of garbage that came from cowardly Foote's words was his attack on Herschel's 19-year-old son Christian. "Oh, and his son's an idiot too," he said in writing that he wouldn't dare to say man-to-man with either Herschel or his son.

Martha McSally appointed to fill McCain's Senate seat

Rep. Martha McSally (R-AZ) has been appointed to fill the late John McCain's Senate seat following Sen. Jon Kyl's (R-AZ) stepping down at year's end. Kyl was originally assigned by Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey to fill McCain's seat.

Gov. Ducey made the announcement on Tuesday about McSally's appointment. She had lost to Democrat Kyrsten Sinema in November for the other Senate in a close election. Sinema, a staunch leftist, has made a number of disparaging remarks about Arizonans and the state, so her winning over McSally proves to a degree that some people are too stupid to care or too uninformed to know that the person you voted for basically called you a 'meth-head.'

“All her life, Martha has put service first — leading in the toughest of fights and at the toughest of times,” Ducey said in a statement. “With her experience and long record of service, Martha is uniquely qualified to step up and fight for Arizona’s interests in the U.S. Senate. I thank her for taking on this significant responsibility and look forward to working with her and Senator-Elect Sinema to get positive things done.”

McSally, who distinguished herself early in her career as the first female fighter pilot to serve in combat, said she was “humbled and grateful” for the opportunity to serve.

Sinema distinguished herself early in her career as a member of Code Pink and said that she didn't care if someone joins the Taliban to shoot U.S. troops (a comment McSally called "treason"). She also defended anarchists destroying property, characterized U.S. soldiers as evil demons, and called Arizona "a meth lab of democracy."

For more crazy things Sinema has said, click here.

It will be interesting to see how the two new Arizona senators get along.

“I am humbled and grateful to have this opportunity to serve and be a voice for all Arizonans,” McSally’s statement said. “I look forward to working with Senator-Elect Kyrsten Sinema and getting to work from day one.”

After McCain’s passed away in August, Kyl returned to the upper chamber at Ducey’s request after retiring his Senate seat in 2013. Kyl announced last week that he would serve through the end of the current legislative session and vacate his seat effective December 31.

Cindy McCain expressed hope that McSally would continue her husband’s legacy of service above self interest in a Tuesday tweet and Joy Behar is a schmuck. Just saying.

“My husband’s greatest legacy was placing service to AZ & USA ahead of his own self-interest,” she tweeted. “I respect @dougducey’s decision to appoint @RepMcSally to fill the remainder of his term. Arizonans will be pulling for her, hoping that she will follow his example of selfless leadership.”

McSally’s seat will once again be on the ballot in 2020 and it is hoped by everyone with a brain that she wins the 2020 election.
