500 Mental Health Professionals and Academics: Remove Anti-Semitic Professor

More than 500 mental health professionals and academics have urged George Washington University (GWU) to remove "decolonial" psychology professor Lara Sheehi from her duties while an investigation is taking place over allegations she discriminated against Jewish students and tried to sabotage their careers.

The claims against Sheehi, a pro-Palestinian "Arab" woman, were first made public last month in a civil rights complaint by StandWithUs, a nonprofit that fights anti-Semitism and promotes education about Israel.  

The irony is, Sheehi teaches a mandatory diversity course at GWU where she hosted an avowed anti-Semite speaker, which is in the complaint against her. Also, the complaint alleges that she launched a smear campaign against Jewish students and then filed disciplinary charges AGAINST THE JEWISH STUDENTS in retaliation for the Jewish students accusing her of anti-Semitism.

“We call upon GWU to relieve Dr. Sheehi of teaching roles in required courses until this matter is adjudicated,” the letter states. The letter lists Daniel Burston of Duquesne University, Cary Nelson of University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign, psychiatrist David. A Sasso, and psychologist Ilene Serline as its principal authors. 

“In light of the online material available, if the allegations against Dr. Sheehi are corroborated in part or in whole, this may also cast doubt upon her suitability to train psychotherapists in general.”

Of course Sheehi denies the students' allegations and wrote an essay in CounterPunch of February 3rd that claims she is being targeted “targeted specifically because I am an Arab woman whose scholarship and activism advocates for Palestinians and, in the process, critiques Israeli settler-colonial apartheid.” 

So she is claiming victimhood like Hamasshole terrorists who kill Israelis, including children, for killing Hamassholes. No other country on the planet takes as much care to minimize so called collateral damage than Israel. 

Leehi also accused George Washington University of lacking “moral fibre” and having “colluded” with StandWithUs and because it opened a third-party investigation of the students’ claims. 

She added that analyzing her Twitter account for evidence of her alleged anti-Semitism is “civilizational and sexist discourse.” It's no different for someone to take the words that anyone says as claiming that is what they are saying. Using the victim card in this instance is not sexist nor is it 'civilizational discourse.'

Lawmakers have also expressed concern about Sheehi’s alleged behavior.

Rep. Josh Gottheimer (D-NJ), citing the complaint, wrote a letter to US Department of Education (DOE) Secretary Dr. Miguel Cardona asking for the issuance of long promised new Title VI guidance that would protect Jewish and Zionist students from discrimination. 

In December, Biden delayed issuing the regulations, which were first proposed in a directive by President Trump in response to rising anti-Zionist discrimination on college campuses and would apply the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) definition of antisemitism to civil rights investigations. 

This may be due, in part, to Biden's quiet racist tendencies to Jews. Blacks, and other people of color.

The proposed guidance will not be instituted until at least December 2023, according to a copy of the proposed rule on the website of the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs.

“I have long been a strong proponent of taking all measures necessary to protect students against hate, discrimination, and bigotry — especially Jewish students who face a barrage of anti-Semitism on their college campuses,” Gottheimer wrote. “It is critical that these students not be singled out or made to feel unwelcome, and that universities uphold our values. After a year with historic levels of anti-Semitism, I ask the department to prioritize the rule-making process for Title VI.”

“Professor Sheehi had — and still has — an opportunity to approach this situation by showing a respectful and appropriate concern for her Jewish students,” StandWithUs said on Feb. 10 in response to Sheehi’s essay. “Unfortunately, the shamefully vitriolic and self-justifying remarks she posted suggest no such humility will be forthcoming. Her diatribe makes it even more important that GW and the Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights carry out a thorough and impartial investigation into her conduct in the classroom.”

Based on Sheehi's history of anti-Zionist, anti-Semitic rhetoric, she should be found guilty of singling out Jewish students for academic punishment. Do you agree?

BDS doesn't want to "B" if Israel creates a COVID19 vaccine

Anti-Semite and Hypocrite Omar Barghouti

The co-founder of the anti-Semitic Boycott Divest and Sanction movement (BDS), Omar Barghouti, has been urging people and nations to boycott all products coming from Israel because it's one way of destroying the Jewish state and is a virulent form of Jew hatred pretending to be a noble cause. But if BDS supporters need an Israeli-made vaccine for the Communist China coronavirus, if it materializes, it's okay to put the boycott aside and use the product. In fact, if you actually think the BDS movement is boycotting all of Israel's product, you might want to view the video below and ask yourself if you believe they are following their own advice.

The COVID-19 pandemic has created a dilemma for the boys and girls of the BDS movement, which is Palestinian-led and supported by scumcrumpets like Democratic Reps. Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, Ayanna Pressley and Alexandria Obviously-Comatose. The dilemma comes from Israel's researchers who said on Thursday that they could begin testing the active component of a potential vaccine by June 1st of this year. 

If the vaccine is successful, it could save countless lives in the West Bank and Gaza Strip. But Israel's assistance, however, would undermine the efforts of BDS supporters to crush Israel's economy and drive out the Joooooze from their land.

Barghouti said in a webinar Sunday that it is "not a problem" for movement supporters to use medical equipment from Israel because being a hypocrite is par for the course and not a problem for crap weasels.

Rather than going into Barghouti's walking back his BDS balderdash, suffice it to say that he and his anti-Semitic movement is disgusting and based on lies.

Rabbi Abraham Cooper, associate dean of the Simon Wiesenthal Center, told the Washington Free Beacon that "hypocrisy is the middle name of BDS."

"BDSers are hypocrites just following the examples of Hamas and Palestinian Authority, whose leaders rush to Israeli hospitals when they or their children are suffering, yet pursue zero tolerance for any normal contact with their Israeli neighbors," he said. "Bottom line, BDS is a hypocritical, ideologically inspired anti-Israel campaign."

The beauty is that Israel would not deny the Palestinian people the vaccine. Sadly, if the shoe was on the other foot, it's extremely unlikely they would do the same for the Israelis.

Roz Rothstein, CEO of the pro-Israel nonprofit StandWithUs, said the current pandemic situation has exposed the inability of BDS to stick to its ideology and "refuse medical innovations for the Palestinian people."

"This hypocrisy is certainly not unusual for them," Rothstein said. "Although they work hard towards Israel's destruction, they will continue to benefit from Israel's generosity while being dishonest about how Israel regularly helps the Palestinians and the rest of the world."

The Anti-Defamation League calls BDS anti-Semitic for its efforts to delegitimize Israel and deny the Jewish state a right to self-determination. The movement has links to Palestinian terrorist groups, according to investigations by Israel's Ministry of Strategic Affairs and numerous media outlets.

"It's amazing to see Barghouti claim the BDS movement prioritizes saving lives when Barghouti himself openly advocates terrorism against Israelis," said Jacob Baime, the executive director of the Israel on Campus Coalition. "He wants his life saved by the very people he's trying to eradicate. That's chutzpah."

The BDS movement is a stain on the world and anyone who supports it, either doesn't know the truth, or if they do, simply hate the Jews and probably envy their resilience.

Calif. Board of Ed. scraps anti-Semitic curriculum in a low kick to the BDS

The California Board of Education finally announced it will "deep six" its current draft ethnic-studies curriculum [by 'curriculum' they mean 'propaganda'] and develop a new model following outrage by state lawmakers, activists, pro-Israel groups, and yes, even Jews for its "blatant bias against Israel" and thus the Jewish people.

The California State Board of Education stated that “the current draft model curriculum falls short and needs to be substantially redesigned.” By falls short they mean that it's full of crap and lies and paints Israel as the bad guys, not mentioning the other guys surrounding Israel who want to see it destroyed and every Jew living there.

“Following the Instructional Quality Commission’s review and response to all public comments, a new draft will be developed for State Board of Education review and potential approval. The Board will ultimately adopt an ethnic studies model curriculum that aligns to California’s values.”

California values need to be reevaluated as a good start.

Roz Rothstein, CEO of StandWithUs, a pro-Israel group, lauded both the results and the fact that the Jewish community mobilized quickly and as one.

“The pro-Israel community and people of good will stood together, united against a hateful, biased curriculum and demanded change. Our voices were heard. We look forward to seeing a curriculum that is inclusive, and that we can all feel comfortable with.”

Jews are overwhelmingly the largest victims of bias/hate crime attacks. Anti-Semitic groups would have you believe otherwise.

The Israeli-American Council also approved the decision by the Board of Education and Gov. Gavin Newsom, but said that they will continue to work to ensure that the new curriculum “will exclude hateful movements such as BDS, as well as any other narratives that demonize Israel and the Jewish people.”

Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar were unavailable for comment as they were preoccupied making BDS signs.

The Israeli-American Council added: “That this curriculum was considered at all during a time when hate crimes against Jews in California, and the United States overall, is on the rise is highly disconcerting. We echo the words and leadership of the California Jewish Legislative Caucus, and urge the State Board of Education to propose a curriculum that includes the experiences and voices of the Jewish community without unfairly singling out Israel or ignoring issues of anti-Semitism.”

On one hand I commend California for doing the right thing. On the other hand, I wonder why this ever became a thing in the first place.
