CNN host has verbal kerfuffle with socialist Bernie Sanders surrogate

Even the Communist News Network (CNN) is apparently uncomfortable with Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), a socialist, as POTUS. Nina Turner, a surrogate mouthpiece for the old commie, got into a hot exchange with CNN's Brooke Baldwin over a question about socialism and the public's distaste for it.

"There was just new polling," said the semi-pretty Baldwin, "because I think we do care about what the electorate thinks. There's this new Wall Street Journal-NBC News poll that found that two-thirds of the respondents said that they were actually uncomfortable with a socialist president."

The idea that the public would not feel comfortable voting for a socialist who would take away private health care, confiscate private business and people's wages in astronomical tax increases, weaken the economy with the laughable Green New Deal proposed by a woman who should have remained a bartender, must scare the bejeezus out of the left.

Four more years of lower unemployment among all minority groups, lower taxes, a strong military, law enforcement able to do its job, and a fair immigration system scares the crap out of the left. It means fewer illegal Democratic voters.

"Well, when you break it down, Brooke," responded Turner, "you know Shakespeare once said, 'What's in a name? A rose by any other name smells just as sweet.' What is democratic socialism? It is government of the people, by the people, and for the people." She was referring to the word "socialist." The argument she was trying to make was as weak as Sanders' heart muscle. Socialism isn't just a word--it's an immoral government takeover of all the means of production, and to do that, you must use lethal force as history has frequently taught those of us who were paying attention.

"Nina, I appreciate Shakespeare just as much as you do!" interrupted Baldwin. "I had a role in Macbeth, way back in the day, but I am talking about this particular poll, and I want an answer on the fact that the majority of America is not comfortable with a socialist president."

"He is a democratic socialist," Turner corrected, without delineating the distinction nor did Baldwin ask. Turner continued, "and the majority of the American people, let me tell you what they comfortable with, they comfortable with Medicare for All, they're comfortable with college for all." But we are not comfortable with the lack of any plan to pay for all of Santa Sanders' gifts, nor how that's fair to those who have private insurance and who have already paid for our college tuition.

"Nina, you keep pivoting, you gotta answer the question!" demanded Baldwin.

"No, I'm not! I'm answering the question!" Turner lied. "I might not answer it the way you want me to answer it, but I am answering the question."

Turner went on to accuse "some people" of trying to "demonize" the word socialism and claimed that polling could be manipulated.

Socialism should be demonized. Socialism sucks. All it does, beside ruining economies and killing people, is to enrich the power elite. It pretends to be charity when all the time it's theft and a kick in the groin to innovation, self-determination and a free exchange of goods and services via mutual agreements.

If heaven forbid Sanders is elected President, the country will erode and become like every socialist nation before it. No, not the Scandinavian countries that Sanders pretends are socialist--even they deny that claim because of their free market system and private ownership of industry--more like Venezuela.

Remember, it wasn't long ago that Sanders praised Venezuela and its president/dictator Nicolas Maduro. You can't even find a roll of toilet paper there now. And this was one of the richest countries in the world with their oil deposits.

Not to be an alarmist, but Bernie Sanders is not a sweet old man--he's dangerous and has made it clear when honeymooning in Russia during the Cold War, that he despises the United States.

Empty barrels cry 'racism' and yadda yadda

All hat, no cattle
Democratic Rep. Frederica Wilson has the intellect of a white supremacist--she sees everything in terms of color and is clearly a racist herself as she claims that all white people fall into that category.

Moreover, based on her voting record, she does not support the U.S. military but pretends to feel indignant toward a former Marine Corps General and current White House Chief of Staff John Kelly.

Wilson claimed on Friday that Kelly used a "racist term" when he described her as an "empty barrel." He made that remark at a press briefing on Thursday when defending President Trump's phone call to Myeshia Johnson,  the widow of a soldier killed with three others in Niger last week.

Empty barrels like Wilson seek to find a comfortable arguing point in their political discourse because actually having to make a real argument hurts their tiny cerebrums. So their 'go-to-default-position' is always the same--in Wilson's case, it's calling all white people she disagrees with, or who she wants to attack politically, a "racist."

That's all she has in her leftist, racist arsenal.

As proof that she's a total idiot, she claimed to have looked up the term "empty barrel" in the dictionary. Most people who aren't idiots would immediately realize that dictionaries define one word at a time--they do not define two-word expressions or terms.

"That's a racist term," she said. "We looked it up in the dictionary because I had never heard of an empty barrel, and I don't like to be dragged into something like that."

She doesn't like to be dragged into an empty barrel?

But let's give Wilson the benefit of the doubt as to whether or not she's a lying racist and actually research the term 'empty barrel.'

The phrase appears to have originated from the proverb "empty vessels make most noise." It dates back to around the 15th Century at the very latest and it's meaning has nothing at all to do with race.

The meaning of the phrase, according to the Oxford Dictionary of Word Origins is: "foolish people are always the most talkative." And while it doesn't say "foolish black people are always the most talkative" it probably does translate to Wilson in this case.

The Oxford Dictionary of Proverbs says the phrase means: "Shallow people with nothing valuable to say are the most talkative or noisy." This would include not only Wilson, but I would add all people regardless of race. Of course, one could make the point that the Rev. Al Sharptongue fits this category, not because of his race, but because of his character. He, like Wilson, tends to see everything in terms of race.

Notable writers have used the expression but not as a racial slur.

Jonathan Swift wrote: "I have always observed that your empty vessels sound loudest."

Some writers have attributed the phrase to Plato, but there is no evidence he actually said the words: "An empty vessel makes the loudest sound, so they that have the least wit are the greatest babblers."

So while Wilson appears to being as ignorant as someone who thinks wiping a computer clean is done with a cloth, she is wrong about the term "empty barrel," and I suspect her error is intentional.

A depressed person sees the world and future through dark-colored glasses. An anxious person sees the world as a dangerous place. A racist sees every criticism as a racial slur.

As further proof beyond Wilson's voting record that she obviously doesn't care about the military, rather than showing remorse over the death of a soldier, she 'spiked the football' over the fact that she was the center of the White House's attention, smiling and bragging about how she's going to tell her children about this matter.

Wilson is clearly an empty barrel . . . without the laughs.

Outrage over Julius Caesar assassination of Obama

In swift retribution of a play put on by the left of Shakespeare's "Julius Caesar," staged in New York's Central Park,  the William F. Buckley Theater Group put on a similar production using Scott Lawrence in the role of Barack Hussein Obama and Viola Davis as Michelle Obama.

The senators in the show were played by actual senators.

The left's play used a character who looked remarkably like President Trump and a woman who looked like Melania. In the play, Trump is brutally assassinated by senators.

In the conservative version of the same play, Lawrence gives a brilliant performance of how former President Obama ran the nation into a ditch economically, while causing enormous divisiveness among various identity groups against people on the right side of the aisle.

Sean Hannity from Fox News' "Hannity" attended the play and told his viewers "It was magnificent. If you plan to come to New York, you have to see it.

"It was a perfect depiction of Obama's failed presidency and massive corruption. I particularly enjoyed how he whispered to Secretary of State Lurch Kerry to take any deal that Iran is willing to accept.

"But my favorite part of the entire show was when Michelle and Barack finally came out of the closet and they sing The Wind Beneath My Pants

"It was so hilarious it made my nose run . . . until the stabbing part when he got to the Senate. That made me feel sad, and also as if a giant weight was lifted from the country and you, the American people.

On the other hand, Fareed Zakaria of the Communist News Network (CNN) hated the play. He said, "It's an insult to the greatest president I ever had the opportunity to sit next to and share our thoughts."

Zakarea added, "It is unpatriotic and quite vulgar to put on a production in which the president of the United States is killed. Just poor taste . . ."

He went on, but the room was beginning to emit a very horrible odor.

Black Live Matter protested vehemently outside the theater in the park. They held signs and dropped 'F-bombs' in order to appeal to the attention spans of millennials.

Some BLM-ers threw bottles and a few threw punches, hitting one person in the face who, it was discovered, didn't come to see the play, but merely wanted to feed the pigeons.

She is expected to make a full recovery, her grandchildren said.

Students from nearby community colleges came to protest and began punching and kicking trees and attacking a few random squirrels. Their ire was palpable.

"Hey hey, ho ho," they shouted, but nobody had been told the rest of the words to the Hey Hey Ho Ho Chant.
