Hey guys, Minnesota was always known as the state of 10,000 lakes, but now, under Tampon Tim Walz, it has become the state of 10,000 fraudsters. The latest tab has now hit over eight billion dollars! 

Let's recap this slow-motion train wreck. 

First we had the $250 million Feeding Our Future scam, where "nonprofits" were supposedly feeding starving kids but were actually buying Lamborghinis and lake houses. Then City Journal drops the bomb that Somali-linked grifters have been looting the Medicaid Housing Stabilization Services program like it's an ATM, and, oh by the way, allegedly wiring millions of those dollars straight to Al-Shabaab terrorists in East Africa. Merry Christmas from Minneapolis. Oh wait--happy Ramadan.

But there's more! Fox News now says the real number isn't one billion. It isn't two billion. Whistleblowers are telling Congress it could top eight billion dollars when all the receipts are in."Fraud investigators are finding in Minnesota is growing by the day," Fox News National Correspondent Garrett Tenney reported. "Kelly Loeffler, who leads the Small Business Administration, says in the two days her agency has been investigating the state, they've uncovered at least $1 million in PPP fraud." And whistleblowers say the grand total "could total up to more than $8 billion."

Meanwhile, Governor Jazz Hands is out there doing his best aw-shucks routine, pretending everything's fine because Minnesota still ranks high in "happiness" or ignorance is bliss, or whatever nonsense metric he's clinging to.

"And in spite of the headwinds we're up against, Minnesota ranks economically, economic growth, happiness, number of people insured, education levels near the very top," Walz bragged to reporters, conveniently forgetting to subtract the eight billion that just walked out the door, and especially failing to mention where it went.

Then he tried the tough-guy act: "If folks are going to commit crimes here, thinking because our generous spirit and our programs that we have is going to give them some kind of cover, they are sadly mistaken."

Translation: After we've already handed terrorists and fraudsters the keys to the treasury for six years, now, now we’re gonna get serious, guys. Pinky swear.

And of course, no Minnesota scandal would be complete without everyone's favorite America-last congresswoman, Ilhan Omar, whose district just happens to be ground zero for a lot of this. 

When Jake Tapper actually pressed her on it, she gave the most Ilhan Omar answer imaginable:"I think what happened, um, is that, you know, when you have these, kind of new programs that are, um, designed to help people, you're oftentimes relying on third parties to be able to facilitate," Omar stammered. "And I just think that a lot of the COVID programs that were set up, they were set up so quickly that a lot of the guardrails did not get created."

Right. Because nothing says "we had no choice" like allowing billions to vanish into the hands of people who hate America while you look the other way for years.

Tim Walz spent the campaign telling us he's just a friendly Midwest dad who loves flannel and hotdish. Turns out he's the guy who turned Minnesota into the world's most generous terrorist GoFundMe while pretending none of it was happening.

Eight billion dollars. Gone. And these people want you to put them in charge of the entire country. 

Hard pass.

Cori Bush's husband charged by feds

Cortney Merritts, the husband of former so called "squad" member and Democratic Representative Cori Bush, was charged this week with federal crimes. Prosecutors say he committed wire fraud by lying on applications for pandemic-related loans from the government.

Merritts faces two counts of wire fraud. The charges allege he sent fake applications to the Small Business Administration (SBA) in 2020 and 2021. Through these applications, he received money from the Economic Injury Disaster Loan Program (EIDL) and Paycheck Protection Program (PPP)—government programs meant to help businesses during the COVID-19 crisis—and never paid it back.

According to the indictment, Merritts received an $8,500 EIDL loan in July 2020 for his moving company, Vetted Couriers. He told the SBA his business had six employees and earned $32,000 the year before. But just one day later, he applied again for another EIDL loan, this time for a business called “Courtney Merritts.” He claimed this business had 10 employees and made $53,000. 

Prosecutors also said one of his July 2020 applications was rejected because it was almost the same as an earlier one.

The charges come a year after the Justice Department started investigating his wife, Cori Bush, a Democrat from Missouri, over payments her campaign made to Merritts. Merritts’ lawyer, Justin Gelfand of Margulis Gelfand DiRuzzo & Lambson, said, “Mr. Merritts intends to plead not guilty to the charges.”

He added, “As with any indictment, this is only the government’s version of the story. We look forward to litigating this case in federal court in Washington, D.C.”

Cori Bush lost her seat in Missouri’s 1st District in the 2024 election because of he far-left leaning and her anti-Israel sentiments.

Bush isn’t accused of any crimes in this case, however, in 2023, she faced a Federal Election Commission (FEC) and congressional ethics complaint. The complaint, filed by the Foundation for Accountability and Civic Trust (FACT), said Bush “used campaign funds for personal use” by paying Merritts $60,000 in 2022 for security work. So it seems like she and Merritts were made for each other.

Bush married Merritts in February 2023. At the same time, her campaign was also paying over $225,000 to a St. Louis company called PEACE Security and $50,000 to another guard, Nathaniel Davis, according to FEC records.

Last year, the Justice Department also looked into Bush’s use of funds meant for Congress members and candidates, which she spent on private security. It’s unclear where that investigation stands, and she hasn’t been charged with anything . . . at this time.

President Trump defunds Planned Parenthood ending tax-funded abortions

President Donald Trump is receiving praise from pro-life groups for two significant actions he took in his first week back in office. These actions include signing executive orders to defund International Planned Parenthood and to enforce the Hyde Amendment.

As LifeNews reported, Trump signed an executive order to enforce the Hyde Amendment, which reinforces the ban on using federal funds for elective abortions.

"This action underscores the administration’s commitment to preventing taxpayer dollars from being used to fund killing babies in abortions."

The Hyde Amendment, enacted in 1976, has long prohibited federal funding for abortions, with exceptions only in very rare emergency cases. Trump's order not only reaffirms this policy but also reverses previous executive orders by Joe Biden that expanded abortion access.

Trump also revoked Biden's executive order that had canceled the Mexico City Policy which provides U.S. taxpayer funding for abortions outside the U.S.

"During his first week in office last term, Trump signed the Mexico City policy in one of his first acts as president. The pro-life policy prohibits American tax dollars to groups that promote or provide abortions overseas. The move defunded two major abortion chains of hundreds of millions of American tax dollars. The International Planned Parenthood Federation alone estimated a $100 million loss from its budget."
The Mexico City policy, originally introduced by President Ronald Reagan, has typically been supported by pro-life presidents and rescinded by those favoring abortion rights. Trump not only reinstated this policy but also expanded its scope to include more global health assistance funds and programs.

"Every innocent life deserves to be protected. Ensuring that taxpayer dollars don’t pay for abortions has saved lives, and it’s a policy that continues to receive bipartisan support from a majority of Americans. Government-compelled participation in abortion has no place in our country. American taxpayers shouldn’t be forced to fund abortions or to export and promote them abroad. We’re pleased to see the Trump administration take these crucial steps to redirect American taxpayer dollars to programs that offer real health care for women and children instead of the scandal-ridden abortion industry."
The California Pro-Life Council also praised Trump for these decisions:

"President Donald Trump has taken decisive action by revoking former President Joe Biden’s orders that expanded access to abortion."
Trump's executive order on Friday aimed to enforce the Hyde Amendment, preventing federal funding for elective abortions, emphasizing that American taxpayers should not be forced to pay for abortions at home or abroad.

By revoking these Biden-era orders, Trump reasserts a policy to stop the use of federal taxpayer dollars for elective abortions, returning to a more traditional stance.

Trump also reinstated the Mexico City Policy, ensuring that foreign NGOs cannot fund or promote abortions if they want to receive U.S. global health aid, a policy from the Reagan era which had been rescinded by Biden.

Marjorie Dannenfelser of SBA Pro-Life America also expressed gratitude for these actions:

"Trump signed crucial pro-life executive orders which SBA has strongly prioritized and advocated for: Restoring Hyde Amendment protections at the Department of Defense and at Veterans Affairs. The Hyde Amendment is the long-standing bi-partisan rule that prevents most federal funding of abortion, but which was flagrantly violated by the previous administration. Stopping the use of U.S. taxpayer dollars going to international Planned Parenthood efforts, restoring what is commonly called the Mexico City Policy."

Fed Court finds Biden admin is engaged in racial and gender discrimination

He makes cabbage look intelligent

Co-President Biden may mumble passionately about racism and discrimination, but underneath that Joker-esque smile and make-believe niceness is a racist-sexist-leftist-bigot. Kamala Hahahaharris was right about Joe--he is a racist, but she's no saint either.

A ruling by a federal district court in Texas by Judge Reed O’Connor found that the Biden administration engaged in systemic gender and race discrimination to implement COVID-19 relief for American restaurants. 

In other words, he and the person (or people) pulling Biden's strings are determining who gets COVID-19 monetary relief for their restaurant businesses based on immutable factors: the color of their skin or their biological gear.

Café owner Philip Greer is a good example of how horrible the Biden administration's decision is. He claimed in a lawsuit against the Small Business Administration (SBA) that, in spite of being born White, and thus having less melanin in his skin, he needs the same rescue as restauranteurs born with more melanin in their skin, under the newly enacted American Rescue Plan Act. 

In fact, like the melanin-rich minorities who received relief, Greer claims that he lost over $100,000 and received no help because of his skin color and the fact that he has a penis instead of a vagina.

Indeed, on the same day that the mayor’s office announced the policy favoring “black and brown” reporters, Lightfoot aides announced that “a compromise plan to make past police disciplinary records available to the public,” essentially turning down a request from Chicago’s racial justice activists to expand police transparency.

Local media reporters in Chicago are alleging that Democrat Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot is selecting who gets to do one-on-one interviews with her based on the race of the interviewer.

NBC 5 political reporter Mary Ann Ahern made the initial allegation on Twitter, writing: “As ⁦ @chicagosmayor ⁩ reaches her two year midway point as mayor, her spokeswoman says Lightfoot is granting 1 on 1 interviews – only to Black or Brown journalists.”

Chicago PBS news anchor Paris Schultz responded: “I was told the same thing.”

Lightfoot’s office did not immediately respond to a request for comment from The Daily Wire or Fox News.

Australian political commentator Rita Panahi responded to the allegations by writing on Twitter: “More ‘anti-racist’ racism. Almost amusing how regressive race-obsession is celebrated among the Left.”

“Racism in the name of wokeism is still racism,” another commentator said. Another added, “So wouldn’t that make her a racist?”

“It is unclear when such a practice was enacted and if it only applies to local reporters, particularly after her MSNBC appearance with Stephanie Ruhle on Monday,” Fox News reported. “During her MSNBC interview, Lightfoot told Ruhle she would ‘encourage’ Chicago residents to continue wearing masks despite the new CDC guidance allowing those with the coronavirus vaccine to go without them.”

“I know for me personally, I’m going to continue to wear a mask in public and I’m going to encourage others to do so,” Lightfoot told Ruhle. “We’ve got to make sure that people are continuing to follow the public health guidance that has gotten us this far, and masks, I think, are a big and important part of that.”

Lightfoot said on Tuesday afternoon that her decision to continue to encourage people to wear masks was not based on distrust of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

“But I think their guidance last week regarding masks has people confused…We need clarification,” Lightfoot said. “We still have a long way to go to hit the critical mass (of vaccinations) or herd immunity. I don’t want people to have false confidence.”

“To say, ‘If you’re vaccinated, you don’t have to wear a mask,’ that’s great. But what about all of the other people who are out there that aren’t vaccinated?” Lightfoot added. “There’s no way to know that. So I think for the time being, most people are gonna continue to wear masks outside of their homes.”
