No less than four women accused Trump of sexual assault. One woman, Jessica Leeds, 74, of New York, told the paper that he groped her on a flight over 30 years ago. He allegedly grabbed her breasts and tried to put his hand up her skirt.
"He was like an octopus," Leeds claimed. "His hands were everywhere . . . It was an assault."
But she just sat there and didn't report it to the airline officials--that doesn't make sense.
Of course Trump's campaign dismissed the allegations as having to merit or truth and, of course, Trump attacked the New York Times as being on a vendetta against him. His attorneys called upon the parakeet cage liner to retract what they referred to as a "libelous article" and demanded an apology.
Trump referred to the story as a "fabrication" Thursday on Twitter.
Jason Miller, Trump's campaign spokesman said in a statement: "For The New York Times to launch a completely false, coordinated character assassination against Mr. Trump on a topic like this is dangerous. To reach back decades in an attempt to smear Mr. Trump trivializes sexual assault, and it sets a new low for where the media is willing to go in its efforts to determine this election."
Another alleged victim of Trump's libido, Rachel Crooks, told the emergency toilet paper substitute Times that the real estate mogul "kissed me directly on the mouth" after introducing himself to her outside an elevator in Trump Tower in 2005.
"It was so inappropriate," she said. "I was so upset that he thought I was so insignificant that he could to that." And she waited until he ran for president before telling the story. Makes perfect sense--bide your time and hope that one day the guy would run for president, then boy oh boy, will you show him.
On Wednesday evening, the Palm Beach Post published a claim by a Florida woman, Mindy McGillivray, 36, that the Donald groped her during a concert at his Mar-a-Lago estate back in January 2003. Like the lady on the plane, she "chose to stay quiet" and did not report the incident to authorities or even a local newspaper.
In fact, this is the first we're hearing of it.
Trump's press secretary Hope Hicks told the Post that there was "no truth" to McGillivray's story.
What are the chances that all of these women all suddenly appeared right before the election?
Another alleged victim, Natasha Stoynoff of People Magazine also published a story Wednesday about her own "encounter" with Trump in 2005 when she interviewed him and Melania in Mar-a-Lago.
She claims that Trump showed her one "tremendous" room and alleged that he pinned her against the wall and "forcing his tongue down my throat."
A spokeswoman for Trump told the liberal magazine "This never happened. There is no merit or veracity to this fabricated story."
Hillary Clinton has said that women who allege sexual assault should be believed. So if we are to believe this from Donald Trump, we should believe the women who were sexually assaulted and/or raped by Bill Clinton and Hypocritical Hillary attacking them for their claims.
I don't know if Trump is guilty as charged, but it doesn't ring true because of their failure to report the sexual misconduct at the time, as well as the coincidental timing of the reporting.
