Rubio Slaps Sanctions on UN’s Anti-Israel Zealot: A Long-Overdue Smackdown

    

Well, folks, the kid gloves are finally off, and it’s about time. Secretary of State Marco Rubio just dropped the hammer on Francesca Albanese, the United Nations’ so-called “Special Rapporteur on Palestinian rights,” who’s been waging a one-woman crusade against the U.S. and Israel. On Wednesday, Rubio announced sanctions on Albanese, signaling that the Trump administration isn’t here to play nice with UN bureaucrats who peddle anti-American and anti-Israel venom.“Albanese’s campaign of political and economic warfare against the United States and Israel will no longer be tolerated,” Rubio declared on X. “We will always stand by our partners in their right to self-defense.” 

In other words, the U.S. isn’t going to sit idly by while a UN flunky tries to drag our soldiers and allies into the International Criminal Court’s kangaroo court.

Let’s talk about Albanese’s rap sheet. Since her 2022 appointment, she’s been a walking caricature of UN bias. She’s accused Israel of “apartheid,” shrugged off Hamas terrorism as “not surprising,” and, get this, suggested in her July 2025 report to the UN Human Rights Council that the U.S. could be guilty of “the international crime of aggression” for President Trump’s strikes on Iranian nuclear sites. Oh, and she’s taken potshots at American companies supplying defense tech to Israel, claiming they’re “aiding and abetting” alleged crimes. 

Not very subtle. 

Then there’s the anti-Semitism. In a now-deleted 2022 post, Albanese mused about whether “the Jewish lobby” controls U.S. foreign policy. She backtracked after the backlash, but the damage was done. This isn’t just overstepping her mandate, it’s a masterclass in diplomatic malpractice and more than a hint of anti-Semitism.

Anne Bayefsky, President of Human Rights Voices, didn’t mince words in an exclusive statement to Fox News Digital: "The State Department is to be congratulated for finally taking action against Albanese, her virulent and violent anti-Semitism and her constant attacks on the United States, American businesses and the very existence of the State of Israel." She added, "Albanese poses a direct threat to the well-being and security of U.S. citizens - not to mention her utter disregard for the theoretical purposes and principles of the United Nations - and as such, the United States is not obligated to admit her. President Trump's Executive Order requiring action on international actors bent on throwing American and Israeli soldiers into International Criminal Court dungeons in the Hague needs even more enforcement.”  

Bayefsky was not done. She called for the UN to get the boot from U.S. soil entirely, along with Albanese and her cronies like Navi Pillay and her “diabolical UN Commission of Inquiry.” Her solution? "Kick the UN out of the U.S. along with Albanese and her UN partners in crime." Honestly, who hasn’t thought the same thing at least once?

Israel’s leadership is cheering Rubio’s move. Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar posted, "A clear message. Time for the UN to pay attention!" Israel’s UN Ambassador Danny Danon told the Jerusalem Post, "Albanese consistently undermines the credibility of the UN by promoting false and dangerous narratives… We will not remain silent." Understatement of the year.

Hillel Neuer of UN Watch called Rubio’s sanctions "a bold and courageous move" in a statement to Fox News Digital. "No UN official — in this case, a purported official, as her reappointment was illegal — has ever been sanctioned before in history. Then again, no UN official has ever been condemned for Holocaust distortion and anti-Semitism by France, Germany, Canada, and both Democratic and Republican US administrations." Neuer’s parting shot? "She will never again spread her poison on American campuses or enter the country. Justice is served. Good triumphs over evil." 

The UN, predictably, hasn’t responded to Fox News Digital’s request for comment. Shocker. Meanwhile, Albanese’s antics have drawn bipartisan condemnation, a rare feat in today’s polarized world. Even the Biden administration called for her ouster over her "genocide" claims against Israel. 

When you’ve lost the Democrats, you know you’ve gone too far.

So, what’s the takeaway? Rubio’s sanctions aren’t just a slap on the wrist, they’re a signal that the Trump administration is done tolerating the UN’s anti-American, anti-Israel circus. Albanese can keep preaching to the choir at the UN Human Rights Council, but she’s persona non grata here. And if the UN keeps pushing, they might just find themselves looking for a new home. Good luck finding a landlord willing to deal with that mess.

Anti-Semitic UN official took money from pro-Hamas NGOs

UN Official Who Blamed Israel for Oct. 7 Took $20K from Pro-Hamas Groups, Watchdog Exposes

Francesca Albanese, the UN’s rabidly anti-Israel Special Rapporteur for the Palestinian Territories, is in hot water again. This time, she’s been caught pocketing $20,000 from pro-Hamas organizations to fund a junket to Australia and New Zealand, according to a bombshell report from UN Watch, a group dedicated to holding the UN’s feet to the fire.

Albanese, who’s made a career out of spewing lies about Israel and shilling for Hamas, claimed the UN covered her trip. But UN Watch blew the lid off her deception, revealing the cash came from a slew of pro-Palestinian groups, including the Australian Friends of Palestine Association (AFPA), Free Palestine Melbourne, and the Australia Palestine Advocacy Network (APAN). 

These aren’t just any groups—AFPA openly bragged on social media about funding Albanese’s trip while glorifying dead Hamas honcho Yahya Sinwar. Meanwhile, APAN’s leader has been linked to suspicions of funneling charity money to Hamas in Gaza, per Sky News.

“Albanese has compounded her misconduct, accepting funding from Hamas-supporting organizations and then lying by claiming the UN paid for her trip,” UN Watch director Hillel Neuer said, not mincing words. “She continues to abuse her UN post daily, spreading antisemitism and Hamas propaganda through social media, TV appearances and false reports,” he added, warning that her ongoing presence “damages the integrity of the UN Human Rights Council and the UN as a whole.”

UN Watch also flagged Albanese’s shady reappointment to her UN gig, which they say violated protocol.

Apparently, the Human Rights Committee ignored letters from the U.S., Argentina, and Israel objecting to her continued tenure—letters that were supposed to be publicly reviewed. Instead, they swept them under the rug.

This is the same Albanese who had the gall to blame Israel for Hamas’s October 7th atrocities. Now, she’s been caught red-handed taking dirty money from Hamas cheerleaders and lying about it. How much longer will the UN let this charade go on?

UN Hamas supporter officials and UNRWA kicked out of Israel

Israel isn't going to take it anymore. In a tough stance against those anti-Semites [aka anti-Zionists] in the United Nations who quietly support Hamas, the Jewish State is officially banning the UN's Special  Rapporteur for the West Bank and Gaza, Francesca Albanese. Moreover, they are also initiating moves to evict the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) from offices on Israel-owned lands.

The moves outline Israel's commitment to ensure its sovereignty and security, and frankly, who wants a group of anti-Semites living down the street? UNRWA workers were known to have participated directly in the October 7 massacre that killed 1,200 and kidnapped over 240 Israelis, and they also used the homes of UNRWA employees to harbor some of the hostages, and used their headquarters to provide a tunnel and computer facility room.

These actions underscore Israel’s commitment to challenging biases and ensuring that its sovereignty and security are not compromised by international bodies that fail to uphold impartiality.

Israel has taken a decisive stance against elements within the United Nations it accuses of harboring sympathy for Hamas, by officially banning the UN’s Special Rapporteur for the West Bank and Gaza, Francesca Albanese, and initiating moves to evict the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA from offices situated on state-owned lands. These actions underscore Israel’s commitment to challenging biases and ensuring that its sovereignty and security are not compromised by international bodies that fail to uphold impartiality.

Albanese had been previously denied entry into Israel, due to her overt anti-Semitism. Now she is officially barred in response to her garbage remarks that downplayed the barbaric severity of the October 7 massacre orchestrated by Hamassholes. 

Such Jew-hating comments have drawn widespread criticism and calls for accountability. Israel’s Foreign Minister, Israel Katz, and Interior Minister, Moshe Arbel, in a joint statement, emphasized that the days of saying nothing in the face of anti-Semitism are over and they urged the UN to take decisive action against Albanese for her harmful lies.

But let's be honest--the UN itself has become an anti-Semitic boy's club. In my humble opinion, it's time to move it out of New York and let the Middle East decide where they want it.

GOP lawmaker calls for firing of UN official over anti-Semitic comments calls it "unpardonable bias"

It takes a Republican to call out anti-Semitism, which in this case is hidden in anti-Zionism. And this time it isn't coming from Democrats like Reps. Ilhan Omar (MN) or Rashida Tlaib (MI), it came from the United Nations [aka United Arab and Islamic Nations].

Rep. Ann Wagner (R-MO) called for the firing of Francesca Albanese, the UN's special rapporteur for Palestine after she told lies accusing Israel of "war crimes."

“Special Rapporteur Albanese’s comments demonstrate yet again her unpardonable bias against the state of Israel and the Jewish people,” Wagner told online media site The Algemeiner. “Albanese should be fired and the utterly unfair, one-sided Commission of Inquiry disbanded. The United Nations must eliminate this deep-seated anti-Semitism and anti-Israel bias and commit itself to supporting the peaceful coexistence of Israel and a democratic, terrorism-free Palestine.”

The Commission of Inquiry only tends to blame the Jewish State for war crimes while the people who fire hundreds of rockets from Gaza into Israeli civilian areas are freedom fighters or some such nonsense.

Albanese, peas be up in her, on 3 May co-issued a press release through the UN’s oxymoronically named human rights office in response to the death of Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) member Khader Adnan in a hunger strike.

The press release quotes Albanese fellow UN rapporteur Tlaleng Mofokeng [don't ask me how that name is pronounced] as saying that Israeli administrative detention is “tantamount to a war crime,” and called Adnan’s death “a tragic testament to Israel’s cruel and inhumane detention policy and practices.”

Reality check: Adnan immediately launched his hunger strike after his February 5th arrest and consistently refused to undergo medical checks or receive treatment while incarcerated. But leave it to the UN and garbage human beings like Albanese to find a way to blame the Jews and never the terrorists.

By the time of his death, Adnan had been arrested a dozen times. He was a staunch advocate of the terrorist group Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine and once in April of 2012 while in captivity and on a hunger strike, Israel agreed to release him which ended his strike. 

This time they didn't let him go and he died on May 3, 2023.

“We cannot separate Israel’s carceral policies from the colonial nature of its occupation, intended to control and subjugate all Palestinians in the territory Israel wants to control,” Albanese and her fellow scumcrumpet said. “How many more lives will have to be lost, before an inch of justice can be delivered in the occupied Palestinian territory?”

Yeah, how many more Israeli citizens have to be attacked on the streets where they are shot, stabbed, beaten or spit upon? 

The slanted press release of course doesn't mention Adnan’s membership in the terrorist organization because that might make him look bad.

When a Jew is slaughtered by a Palestinian, they pass out candy to celebrate. When a Palestinian terrorist is killed by the IDF in what is generally surgical targeting, the Palestinians fire rockets at civilians.

Remember this about their "hero": Adnan was indicted and arrested by an Israeli military court in February, where he got a fair trial. Imagine if the shoe was on the other foot and an Israeli soldier was tried in Gaza--he or she would be dead.

Albanese, who was appointed in May 2022, has repeatedly drawn criticism for anti-Israel bias and for comments that critics point out are anti-Semitic. She even said that Hamasshole rocket fire into Israel from Gaza was the Palestinian's “right to resist.” 

In 2014 Albanese had written that the United States was “subjugated by the Jewish lobby.” She has distanced herself from those remarks, saying that she would not repeat them and that “people make mistakes.”

She really needs to go live in the town of Sderot in Israel for a year. But for now, she really just needs to go. The UN has become a sick joke of what it was intended to be.

UN "human rights" investigator pushes "killing Israelis" NGO states

Sweet-faced Francesca Albanese loves her some Palestinian terrorists and says they have the right to kill Israelis, [code for 'Jews']. She cloaks her anti-Semitism in the guise of the Palestinian's "right to resist," and to "exist as a people," but anyone with an open mind knows what she means.

“Palestinians’ right to resist is inherent to their right to exist as a people,” the UN's “Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the Palestinian Territory occupied since 1967,” tweeted. “An unlawful act of resistance does not make the resistance unlawful.”

Hillel Neuer, executive director of the Geneva-based UN Watch NGO, has called on United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres to condemn “ugly incitement to violence” by a UN official. Whether he does so is highly doubtful.

Albanese defended Palestinian terrorists last Monday after a ceasefire was put into effect following three days of fighting between the IDF and Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ). The latter group fired about 900 rockets aimed at Israel.

The IDF launched Operation Breaking Dawn on Friday in response to the ongoing rockets fired by PIJ that had gone on for several days and an imminent threat of attack by the Islamic terror organization on Israeli civilians, acts that Albanese say are justified.

Within the first 180 seconds of the operation, fighter jets and drones targeted and killed 15 Islamic Jihad operatives, including Taysir al-Jabari, commander of the Islamic Jihad’s northern division. Evidently, the fact that the IDF is more effective in eliminating military targets that initiated the conflict, than the PIJ is in eliminating civilian Jews, upsets Albanese.

“This terror organization (PIJ) is now under attack. We won’t allow any organization—not here and not in the North and not in Judea and Samaria—to harm the sovereignty of the State of Israel. We are at the height of a justified operation, aimed at protecting the Israeli people,” IDF Chief Aviv Kochavi stated Saturday night.

The next day, Tor Wennesland, a career diplomat for the UN as a "Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process" condemned the assassination of Jabari, a terrorist leader, saying in a statement that he was “deeply concerned by the ongoing escalation between Palestinian militants and Israel, including the targeted killing of a Palestinian Islamic Jihad leader inside Gaza.”

Taysir al-Jabari was responsible for multiple terror attacks against Israeli Jews, so targeting him was a good thing, unless you're an anti-Semite.

“The continuing escalation is very dangerous. The launching of rockets must cease immediately, and I call on all sides to avoid further escalation,” Wennesland said.

On Monday morning, Albanese, who evidently knows nothing about the history of Israel and the Old Testament, defended Palestinians’ “right to resist” Israeli “occupation.” The Jews have been in Israel before there was Islam and the Palestinians.

“Palestinians’ right to resist is inherent to their right to exist as a people,” she tweeted. “An unlawful act of resistance does not make the resistance unlawful. An unlawful act of an unlawful occupation makes the occupation more unlawful (and the list on the desk of the [International Criminal Court] Prosecutor longer).”

Neuer responded, writing that “after Palestinian terrorists just attacked Israel with 1,000 rockets, the UN Human Rights Council’s Francesca Albanese says Palestinians have a ‘right to resist.’ As she knows, for all Palestinian groups—Hamas, Islamic Jihad or Fatah—’resistance’ means killing Israelis.”

He then called on Guterres “to strongly condemn this ugly incitement to violence by a UN official.”

“The context makes it worse,” he added. “Albanese has often compared the Palestinians to Jewish victims of the Holocaust, and implied that Israelis are Nazis,” he said.

Albanese is just one of many United Nations officials who are fervently anti-Semitic and wear it proudly on their sleeves. What's most disturbing is how anti-Semitism has become acceptable cocktail conversation.
