Trump suing Christopher Steele, the ex-MI6 spy

Former and possibly the future President of the United States, Donald J. Trump, is suing former MI6 officer at High Court. The Donald is bringing a data protection claim against Orbis Business Intelligence and Christopher Steele, its founder, who prior to this ran the Secret Intelligence Service's Russia desk.

The court order, published on Thursday, states that a two-day hearing in Trump's legal action is scheduled to be heard on October 16, which is believed to the first hearing in the claim.

While there are no more details about this case, President Trump is not expected to attend.

Steele as you may know, was the author of the Steele dossier, which alleged that Trump has been "compromised" by the Russian security service, the FSB. The dossier was leaked to BuzzFeed in 2017 and it also alleged that Russian President for life,Vladimir Putin "supported and directed" an operation to "cultivate" Trump as a presidential candidate for "at least five years."

The claim by Steele turned out to be balderdash and Trump consistently denied the lies.

Steele and Orbis Business Intelligence were previously sued for libel by Russian national Aleksej Gubarev over the publication of the dossier, claiming they were legally responsible for BuzzFeed publishing the dossier.

However, in a judgment in October 2020,  Justice Warby dismissed the claim and may possibly be a stooge of the Russians, but that is yet to be proved.

See how that works?

Steele admonished by FBI but they still trusted him

Former MI-6 ex-British spy Christopher Steele was formally admonished by the FBI for misconduct in 2016. But in spite of that, FBI agents vouched for him and relied heavily on his anti-Trump dossier that led to wiretaps on a Republican campaign volunteer.

The verbal admonishment was found in 70 pages of highly redacted FBI documents, on what Steele reported as a "confidential human source," or CHS, how much he was paid and how he lost his job as a key FBI undercover source. When you read 'CHS' think 'Steele.'

Judicial Watch, a conservative watchdog group, obtained the documents through the court.

There were 11 pay request forms showing payments made in 2016, but they don't reveal the project. Steele runs Orbis Business Intelligence in London and had a previous FBI association, so the payments could have been for other work unrelated to the Hillary Clinton-sponsored dossier.

If the payments was for Trump-related spying or Russia intelligence, then Steele was being paid by the FBI and the Hillary Clinton campaign/Democratic Party. They hired Fusion GPS to run Steele as a source for opposition research on Trump.

The redacted documents' most significant disclosure points out that Steel was disciplined by the FBI on Feb. 2, 2016. The form entitled "admonishments" does not show his offense.

The un-redacted part of the document states, "verbally admonished the CHS with CHS admonishments, which the CHS fully acknowledged, signed and dated. The signed CHS AGG [attorney general guidelines] admonishments form is attached."

Yet after the admonishment, Steele went on to play a highly important role in leveling charges that ignited the probe into President Trump and helped lead to the appointment of special counsel Robert Mueller, a close friend of former FBI Director James "Holier Than Thou" Comey.

By the end of April, Steele was hired by the Democrats and in June, he was sending out memos that accused the Trump campaign of an "extensive conspiracy" with the Kremlin to interfere in the 2016 presidential election.

Steele continuously sent the FBI collusion charges. In Oct. 2016, the FBI requested a wiretap from a judge on volunteer Carter Page. The dossier alleged Page met with shady Russian figures in Moscow and this is what made up most of the evidence to a judge that Page acted as a foreign agent for Russia.

Page is an investor who lived in Moscow and has many Russian contacts. He called Steele's charges a fabrication and has not been charged.

But still Mueller's investigation persists.

On his phony book tour this year, Comey vouched for Steele because scumcrumpets tend to sticking together.

Comey spoke about the dossier to ABC News and said, "This guy, [Steele] who's credible, says these things are true. Okay. That means we should try and replicate that work to see if we can develop the same sources."

In other words, the dossier was to be believed and used as the FBI's anti-Trump bible. In fact, the FBI cited Steele in three subsequent wiretap renewals stretching for a year. This allowed them to view all of Page's previous electronic messages.

By this time, Steele had been admonished and by November 2016 he was fired by the FBI for violation of the rules.

Because he was angry that he wasn't able to stop Trump's candidacy, he went to the far leftist rag "Mother Jones" magazine and spilled all of his charges as an unnamed intelligence source.

The article alarmed his FBI handlers who labeled him "not suitable for use as a CHS."

The firing document read: "At that time, handling agent advised CHS that the nature of the relationship between the FBI and CHS would change completely and that it was unlikely that the FBI would continue a relationship with the CHS. Additionally, the handling agent advised that CHS was not to operate to obtain any intelligence whatsoever on behalf of the FBI."

Which now brings us to Fusion GPS.

That fall, Fusion GPS established a backchannel flow of anti-Trump information to then-Associate Attorney General Bruce Ohr, whose wife worked at Fusion, to FBI agent Peter Strzok. He headed the probe and hated Trump's guts, as witnessed by his messages sent to his paramour, who was an FBI attorney with a slight overbite.

But now we must ask, did Steele continue to funnel information against Trump to the FBI after the agency told him to cease?

Last year, Daniel Jones, an ex-senior intelligence staffer to Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.), told the FBI his firm was paid $50 million by political donors to continue investigating President Trump. He said he hired Fusion GPS and Steele to do the job.

And still the Mueller investigation goes on . . .

Dem. Sen. texted with Russian lobbyist to try connecting with Chris Steele

Sen. Mark Warner (D-Va.) the top Democrat on the Senate Intelligence Committee has been leading the congressional investigation into President Trump's alleged ties to Russia.

Fox News has learned that Warner had "extensive contact last year with Adam Waldman, who runs the Endeavor Group in Washington and is a lobbyist for a Russian oligarch. Waldman was offering the Virginia senator access to former British spy and dossier author Christopher Steele," as evidenced from text messages obtained exclusively by Fox News.

Warner texted Waldman, whose firm has ties to Hillary Clinton, on March 22, 2017:
"We have so much to discuss u need to be careful but we can help our country."
Waldman's response:
"I'm in."
It was Christopher Steele who put the anti-Trump unverified dossier together that was used by FBI and DoJ officials in October 2016 to get a FISA warrant to conduct surveillance on Carter Page, a former Trump adviser and possibly an idiot. Steele, however, has not agreed to allow an interview with the committee.

Apparently, Warner didn't want anyone else on the committee to know about his conversations with Waldman. On March 29, Waldman told the senator that Steele wanted a bipartisan letter from Warner and the committee's chairman Sen Richard Burr (R-NC) inviting him to speak with the Senate Intelligence panel.

But Warner's communications showed his intention of keeping the rest of the panel out of the loop, at least initially, ostensibly because he'd "rather not have a paper trail" of his messages.

Fox News was told by a Warner aide that the messages are authentic and are all marked "CONFIDENTIAL" but are not classified. They were obtained from a Republican source and turned over to the Senate panel by Waldman last September.

Waldman is known for signing a $40,000 monthly retainer in 2009 and 2010 to lobby the U.S. government on behalf of Russian billionaire Oleg V. Deripaska, who had his visa revoked by the State Department in 2006. The reason for his action was due to charges that he has organized crime ties which he denies, but so did the Clintons.

An aide to Burr told Fox News that Burr knew of the "contact" Warner made with Steele's representative but added, "I don't believe he was aware of the content of the text messages" initially.

Burr and Warner released a joint statement stressing they are working together, and they slammed the "leaks of incomplete information."

"From the beginning of our investigation we have taken each step in a bipartisan way, and we intend to continue to do so," their statement read. "Leaks of incomplete information out of context by anyone, inside or outside our committee, are unacceptable."

For more on this story by Fox News and the communications between Warner and Waldman go here.

It's delicious.

Fusion GPS admits hiring wife of DOJ official to probe Trump

The co-founder and CEO of opposition research firm Fusion GPS, Glenn Simpson, acknowledged in a court document that his company hired Nellie Ohr, the wife of senior Justice Department official, Bruce Ohr, to help investigate then-candidate Donald Trump in 2016.

Bruce has since been 'turned loose' from the investigation for concealing meetings with Fusion GPS and was demoted to Deputy Kitchen Grease Pit Cleaner, or a similar position.

The company created the anti-Trump "dossier" containing sexual misconduct allegations about the president. The "dossier" was paid for by the Hillary Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee.

The connections for the Ohrs are serious concerns for Republicans who see this as a conflict of interest and lack of objectivity at the Justice Department. It spurred Trump's outside counsel to call for a separate special prosecutor.

Fusion's CEO confirmation was in a signed declaration filed in U.S. District Court in Washington, D.C., and it depicted a clearer picture of how Nellie Ohr was involved with Fusion GPS.

Simpson's statement indicates that Nellie Ohr was quite involved in the oppositional research on Trump. He said bank records reflect his company's contract with her "to help our company with its research and analysis of Mr. Trump."

Simpson added that he told the House Intelligence Committee that he personally met with Bruce Ohr, "at his request, after the November 2016 election to discuss our findings regarding Russia and the election."

Woah Nellie.

According to evidence gathered by the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI), chaired by Rep. Devin Nunes (R.-Calif.) Ohr met with Christopher Steele during the 2016 presidential campaign. Steele is a former British spy who authored the "dossier." Ohr also met with Simpson after the election.

Republican lawmakers are most interested in determining whether the "dossier" served as the basis for the Justice Department and FBI to obtain FISA surveillance in 2016 on a Trump campaign adviser, Carter Page.

Jay Sekulow, Trump's attorney, on Tuesday called for the appointment of a special prosecutor to investigate the special prosecutor's investigation. It is expected that should this happen, the Democrats will call for a special prosecutor to investigate the special prosecutor investigating the special prosecutor, ad infinitum.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions is currently reviewing the House GOP members calling for a special probe regarding various Obama and Clinton-related controversies.

Regarding Sekulow's call, AG Sessions noted that he has already ordered a review following the prior call from the House.

Trump goes full frontal exclamation point!

Going full exclamation point President Trump unloaded on Hillary over the obvious double standard after reports that Democrats also received foreign help in the election last year.

Trump's attack on Hillary and fellow Democrats Wednesday was over what he described as a double standard for their respective associates' alleged coordination with foreign governments in the campaign.

He used his Twitter account Wednesday to the Washington Times article outlining how Democrats used false information from Russia to attack him and his campaign.

Mr. Trump tweeted:
"@WashTimes states 'Democrats have willfully used Moscow disinformation to influence the presidential election against Donald Trump."
He then added:
"Why aren't the same standards placed on the Democrats.  Look what Hillary Clinton may have gotten away with. Disgraceful!"
The Washington Tomes report refers back to the questionable dossier, written by Christopher Steele, a former British intelligence agent. It was allegedly distributed by Fusion GPS, the Democrat-funded opposition research firm, and Steele was allegedly paid by a Clinton supporter. The FBI eventually got their hands on the dossier.

The White House and Trump supporters also cited a meeting between a DNC consultant and officials at the Ukrainian Embassy in Washington, D.C., last year.

"If you are looking for an example of a campaign coordinating with a foreign country or a foreign source, look no further than the DNC, which actually coordinated opposition research with the Ukrainian Embassy," White House Deputy Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said Monday.

"This is not an accusation. That is an on-the-record action that they took," she said.

But let's be honest with ourselves; both sides of the aisle are filled with hypocrites.
