Steve Bannon indicted on NYS charges: expected to turn himself in

Steve Bannon has been indicted on state charges in New York related to the federal charges he faced in 2020 over a fraud scheme. He was pardoned for those charges by then-President Trump in the federal case coming at the end of Trump's term in office, before the trial was able to conclude.

The charge against Bannon in August 2020 was for allegedly defrauding people who donated to a crowdfunding campaign to build a wall along the southern border between the US and Mexico. He was accused of stealing one million dollars from the over $25 million raised to pay an alleged co-conspirator and personal expenses totaling hundreds of thousands in expenses.

The other two co-conspirators charged in the scheme, Brian Kolfage and Andrew Badolato, pled guilty in April to one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud, which carries a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison, according to the DOJ. Kolfage also pled guilty to tax and wire fraud charges filed by the US Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Florida. 

Democrat Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg would handle the case, as per The Washington Post. Bragg is known for having more tolerance and sympathy for felons than he has for Republicans and is a threat to the safety of New Yorkers.

The report stated that Bannon is expected to turn himself in on Thursday.

The new indictment Bannon faces comes after he was found guilty of one contempt count involving his refusal to appear for a deposition and another involving his refusal to produce documents to the January 6th House Select Committee. He is set to be sentenced in that case on Oct. 21, 2022. Each count carries a maximum of 30 days in jail and fines ranging from $100 to $100,000.

“The subpoena to Stephen Bannon was not an invitation that could be rejected or ignored,” Matthew M. Graves, U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia said. “Mr. Bannon had an obligation to appear before the House Select Committee to give testimony and provide documents. His refusal to do so was deliberate and now a jury has found that he must pay the consequences.”

Some Democrats are hoping Bannon will be given a life sentence or is hung by the neck until dead, unlike former President Obama's wingman, former US Attorney General Eric Holder who was also guilty of not appearing after being summoned by the House and got away with no charges.

The FBI will continue our sworn duty to investigate those who have committed violations of our laws and hold them accountable for their actions.”

Equal justice under the law has become a suggestion, not a requirement.

Triple amputee veteran tries to collect $1 Pelosi pledged for border wall

Brian Kolfage is a triple-amputee war veteran and the founder of the GoFundMe page "We The People Will Fund The Wall." The wall, of course, is the U.S.-Mexico border wall President Trump promised during his campaign. Brian went to Washington, D.C. after House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said she would give one dollar to fund the wall, and he wants he to put her money where her mouth and her dancing hands are.

Last week, the California Democrat mockingly said she'd give a single dollar for the barrier that President Trump has been pushing since his campaign in 2016. In a press conference, Pelosi was asked by a reporter if there was "any situation in which you would accept even a dollar of wall funding?"

"A dollar?" she said, looking confused as reporters laughed. "A dollar? One dollar?" she said, holding up her index finger and mugging for the camera. "Yeah, one dollar."

So Brian decided to try to go collect the buck.

"We are going to meet with Nancy Pelosi to collect our one dollar that she said she was going to give toward Trump's border wall, " Kolfage says in a Daily Caller video as he rolls along in his wheelchair. "I highly doubt she expected anyone to kind of take her serious and call her out on it, but we're going to see if she'll fess up and give us her buck."

"We're taking one dollar at a time to build that wall," he said. In fact, Kolfage's campaign has raised $19,294,995 of a $1 billion goal from 319,896 people in 20 days.

Kolfage wasn't expecting much as he rolled into the Capitol's visitor center. "I'm sure if this goes through and she meets with me and has like an honest discussion, I think that she's probably going to try to spin for her own agenda," he said.

On his page, Kolfage, a Purple Heart recipient, supports Trump's efforts to build a barrier at the border. In fact, anyone in their right mind supports Trump's efforts to build the wall.

"Like a majority of those American citizens who voted to elect President Donald J Trump, we voted for him to Make America Great Again. President Trump’s main campaign promise was to BUILD THE WALL. And as he’s followed through on just about every promise so far, this wall project needs to be completed still," Kolfage wrote.

"As a veteran who has given so much, 3 limbs, I feel deeply invested to this nation to ensure future generations have everything we have today. Too many Americans have been murdered by illegal aliens and too many illegals are taking advantage of the United States taxpayers with no means of ever contributing to our society."

"I have grandparents who immigrated to America legally, they did it the correct way and it's time we uphold our laws, and get this wall BUILT! It’s up to Americans to help out and pitch in to get this project rolling," he said.

Walls work. Ask people in Israel after they built a wall due to the ongoing terrorist attacks they were experiencing by Hamassholes. They built a wall in the area where it was happening and the attacks virtually stopped in that area.

But it's obvious Pelosi, like the rest of those in her party, don't want to keep illegal immigrants out because they are potential Democratic voters. If we all knew they'd vote GOP, the wall would make Jack's beanstalk look like asparagus.


Well here we are in the beginning of a new year and the world still hasn't come to an end with President Trump in the White House, in spite of what the media and the left [but I repeat myself] would have you believe.

WaPo reporter tries to kill border wall GoFundMe--gets denied and cries about blowback

A Washington Post "reporter" tried to pressure GoFundMe to shut down a donation page raising money to build President Trump's border wall, but the scumcrumpet was denied.

The donation page titled, "We the People Will Fund the Wall," was created by Air Force veteran and triple-amputee, Brian Kolfage.

The page has already reached $12 million in donations, but the goal has been set $5 billion, which approximates the cost of the wall and which seems mathematically unlikely to reach in our lifetime. It's the thought that counts, except when you actually want to pay for something.

Tony Romm, the activist "journalist" in question, posted his concerns about the border wall donation page to his Twitter account, proving once again that real journalism is dead.

Romm tweeted:

"So there's an effort on GoFundMe to raise cash money for a border wall. Has more than $5M in donations (seeking $1B) and claims to have contacts in the Trump admin (have asked for more)."

Any writer who begins a sentence with "So," is a hack. He continued to tweet:

"But it got me thinking: is that, like, allowed on the site?" 

Well. like, duh, um, yeah, it is. Here are the full, um, sentences he tweeted:

"So there's an effort on GoFundMe to raise cash money for a border wall. Has more than $5M in donations (seeking $1B) and claims to have contacts in the Trump admin (have asked for more). But it got me thinking: is that, like, allowed on the site? (1/3)"

Actually, there is currently more than $12 million in donations, but still far short of the $5 billion he hopes to get for the wall. Romm said that Kolfage is seeking $1 billion--he isn't even correct about the amount.

Romm said that he believed the donation page was in violation of the site's rules against intolerance. [Note how the intolerant speak of the other's intolerance, just like Antifa speaks out against fascism.]

He tweeted:

"GoFundMe terms prohibit attempts to raise cash money rooted in 'intolerance of any kind relating to race, ethnicity, national origin, religious affiliation, sexual orientation, sex, gender or gender identity, or serious disabilities or diseases,' among other limits."

The wall has nothing to do with race, ethnicity, national origin, religious affiliation, sexual orientation, sex, gender or gender identity, or serious disabilities or diseases. Except in the latter case, we don't want to admit anyone with a serious contagious disease. No country does, nor would it allow entry. That's just stupid.

The wall has to do with abiding by the U.S. Constitution and our rule of law. Nobody cares who comes lawfully into the country--there has never been any controversy over that issue because the U.S. is comprised of all nationalities and religious affiliations, as well as men who think they're women and vice-versa.

Romm, who is a technology policy weasel whisperer for the leftist Washington Post, said that a spokesperson from the donation crowdfunding site told him the project was not in violation of their terms.

So I asked GoFundMe if this wall fundraiser violates that. Spox: "This campaign does not violate our terms of service. The funds are safely held by our payment processor and we will work with the organizer to transfer funds" or return them if target isn't met (3/3)"

Romm then complained that his attack in an attempt to kill the donation page was being misrepresented as politically motivated on Twitter. The fake reporter said:

"the state of our discourse is such that this thread -- which merely explores the funding campaign in the context of the site's ToS -- is a political lightning rod. somehow the most boring legalese has turned into a rallying cry for a certain set of users to go on the attack"

I suspect if Romm was somehow able to stop the wall GoFundMe page from operating, he would take credit for stopping Kolfage from his goal of funding something he believes in for the country. He already gave up three of his limbs for the U.S.A. and still wants to give more in an effort to do what's right.

Romm, on the other hand, gave up some of his free time to type words on Twitter and complain that he couldn't get his way and gain fame as a spoiler.
