Joe Biden is able to make the Francis Scott Key Bridge about himself

By now, most every American knows about the Francis Scott Key Bridge collapse. It's a tragedy that has apparently claimed the lives of at least six people, two whose bodies have been recovered by divers.

The incident happened just before 01:30 on Tuesday when the container ship Dali struck the bridge, located in Baltimore, Maryland. It collapsed within seconds. There were eight workers reportedly on the structure at the time it was struck, and the search for the remaining four people continues.

The catastrophe was so bad that even Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg went to see the damage and make speeches about it. So too did the Governor of Maryland, Wes Moore (D) who spoke about the heroism of the first responders. He also mentioned that the Baltimore seaport is the largest in the country and that the devastation is going to cost the nation dearly.

Joe Biden also spoke about the incident and said that he wants the federal government to pay for the cost of rebuilding the bridge. He apparently saw that as the most important thing on his 'to do list,' instead of focusing on the people who are missing.

"It’s my intention that federal government will pay for the entire cost of reconstructing that bridge," he mumbled, "and I expect to — the Congress to support my effort."

And in typical Biden fashion, he made the situation about himself, claiming that he took the train over the bridge many, many times.

"At about 1:30, a container ship struck the Francis Scott Key Bridge, which I’ve been over many, many times commuting from the state of Delaware either on a train or by car," he said. "I’ve been to Baltimore Harbor many times. And the bridge collapsed, sending several people and vehicles into the water — into the river. "

Thankfully no trains were actually crossing the bridge at the time of the tragedy, but that would have been unlikely anyway because trains do not use the bridge--there are not tracks on the bridge. Joe lies whenever his lips are moving while the press and his cronies stand around him and applaud.
JUST IN: President Biden reveals that he took the train over the Francis Scott Key Bridge "many times" during his commute even though the bridge didn't have train tracks.

Very impressive!

Perhaps if the Francis Scott Key Bridge had tracks, trains might ride along them and chug, chug, chug along and Biden wouldn't sound like a nursing home patient on one hand, and an uncaring hack on the other.

Perhaps Biden lied about the train, like he did in the past about Amtrak and used it for his presidential runs. I'm just surprised he didn't say something like how he once saved a woman tied to the tracks by the Israelis.

Mumbles lies again for fourth time about Amtrak conductor

He simply cannot keep himself from lying, or perhaps his addled brain finally believes his story about his imaginary encounter he recalled for the fourth time with his Amtrak conductor goombah named Negri. They say folks with senile dementia often talk to their dead relatives and friends, and apparently Joe Biden is no exception.

On Wednesday, Biden once again spouted his tale about being congratulated by the Amtrak conductor for traveling over 2 million miles by train. Sadly, by the time Biden hit that mark, Negri had been dead and buried.

The alleged President spoke about the Negri seance on Wednesday when he appeared his in Scranton, PA to discuss the socialist "Build Back Better" infrastructure plan. He claimed to have spoken to Negri in his seventh year as Vice President in 2015. But Negri had already retired from Amtrak in 1993 and died in 2014, so there's that.

He then said that ‘seven years into my tenure as vice president,’ he was informed that he had surpassed the 1 million mile mark in flying on Air Force Two - which is the vice president’s official aircraft. Imagine the amount of air pollution the Obama administration had dumped into the atmosphere, which our "Environmental Csar" continues to do in his own private jet.

Anyway, Biden claimed that after reaching the milestone, he was accosted by an old friend, Amtrak conductor Negri.

"Joey, baby!" the president said, in a poor rendition of an Italian accent, recalled Negri discussing Biden's mileage achievement, ironically his only one.

"I thought the Secret Service was going to shoot him," Joey baby said, and told his Secret Service detail: "No, no, no, he’s good. He’s good," meaning he's not dead and he's not a threat to assassinate him.

After Biden flew some 1.2million miles, the president claims Negri sarcastically told him: "Big-a deal! You know-a how many miles you did Amtrak?’ Negri allegedly told then-Vice President Biden.

"No, Ang, I don’t have any idea, pal," Biden claimed he responded.

Biden said Negri told him that he amassed over 2 million miles on Amtrak going back to his days as a US senator representing Delaware.

The president’s story, however, contains lies due to the fact that it's impossible to have happened at the times indicated because dead men don't tell tales and Negri's 2014 obituary states that he retired in 1993, long before our house plant president was elected vice president in 2008. And Biden hit the milestone he was referring to in 2015.

But don't laugh at Biden so quickly. The word out on the street is that he's up for the "Brian Williams Award for Bravery in the Face of Facts."

Biden's weird Amtrak story as believable as the Corn Pop tale

Co-President Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr., told a whopper of tale last week that had people scratching their heads about an Amtrak conductor congratulating him for riding over 1,500,000 miles on the train.

Biden's balderdash was spouted last Friday at Amtrak's 50th anniversary event.

"When I became vice president, one of the Capitol Hill newspapers estimated that I had taken more than 7,000 round trips on Amtrak over my career. I think that's an exaggeration. I'm going to rely on those two conductors … one of them was a guy named Angelo Negri," Biden said, pretending to be a "regular Joe."

"There was an article, I guess my fourth or fifth year as vice president, saying Biden travels 1,300,000 miles on Air Force One [he had a brain fart; it was Two]. I used to – the Secret Service didn't like it – but I used to like to take the train home. My mom was sick and I used to try to come home almost every weekend as vice president to see her. I got on the train and Angelo Negri came up and he goes, ‘Joey, baby,’ and he grabbed my cheek like he always did. I thought he was going to get shot. I'm serious. [Whenever Biden says "I'm serious," you know he's lying.] I said, 'No, no, he's a friend.'

"He said, 'Joey, what's the big deal? 1,300,000 miles on Air Force Two? Do you know how many miles you traveled on Amtrak?' I said, 'No, Angie, I don't know.' He gave me the calculation and he said you traveled 1,500,000 miles on Amtrak. The fact is, I'd probably take Angie's word before I'd take the word of what the article said."

Nobody questioned Joe's blarney so far, but further consideration of his words seem to indicate that yet another lie has flown from the lips of our co-POTUS.

Biden's 4th year as VP was about 2013. Negri's obituary shows he was retired from Amtrak in 1993, fully 20 years prior when Biden was still a useless senator. And Negri died in 2010 so you can believe what you want about his story, like every "story" Biden tells.

And Biden's mother died in 2010 so there's that so if he was visiting her in 2013, she probably didn't know it or was unresponsive to his presence.

As an added addition to the fertilizer he spreads, Biden's office celebrated him hitting 1 million miles on Air Force Two in 2015.

Do the math.

Train carrying GOP lawmakers hits truck on tracks, 1 dead

Photo: Fox News
An Amtrak train carrying about 200 GOP members on their way to a Republican retreat, the Greenbriar Resort in West Virginia, slammed into a dump truck on Wednesday. One person in the truck was killed and at least one other person who was aboard the truck was treated on scene and taken away by helicopter and is in critical condition.

There were some minor injuries by those on board.

"It was a very high-speed collision," said Rep. Jeff Denham (R-Calif.) who was aboard the train, told Fox News. "There was no braking that was felt. We hit an immediate impact and went from 70 to zero very quickly."

Two Amtrak employees received non-life threatening injuries and were taken to hospital.

The train is now returning to Charlottesville and the lawmakers are planning to travel on to the retreat.

"There is one confirmed fatality and one serious injury. There are no serious injuries among members of Congress of their staff," White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders said in a statement. "Senior Administration officials are in regular contact with Amtrak and state and local authorities. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone that has been affected by this incident."

The extent of the injuries is unclear but mainly are minor.

As this is being posted, the train has arrived in Charlottesville and the passengers will be taken via bus to the retreat.

Amtrak is run by the government and has a history of screw ups. Perhaps this one belongs on that list but we will see what comes out of an investigation.

UPDATE: At least 6 dead in Washington state train derailment

DuPont, Washington -- An Amtrak train derailed Monday around 7:20 a.m. local time near Tacoma, Washington.

This was an inaugural ride on a new line installed to cut down commuting time and it carried more than 80 passengers. The derailment caused several train cars to tumble from a highway overpass, killing at least 6 people.

At least 77 people were taken to four local hospitals--two are in critical condition and 11 are in serious condition. Of these, one person was taken to surgery.

Washington Gov. Jay Inslee declared a state of emergency after Amtrak train 501 derailed along Interstate 5 as it was leaving the new Tacoma station. A U.S. official told the Associated Press the death toll is expected to rise and track obstruction is being investigated as a possible cause of the derailment.

Amtrak 501 was traveling southbound from Seattle when it derailed. According to Washington State Trooper Brooke Bova, 13 train cars jumped the tracks.

President Trump tweeted politically: "The train accident that just occurred in DuPont, WA shows more than ever why our soon to be submitted infrastructure plan must be approved quickly. Seven trillion dollars spent in the Middle East while our roads, bridges, tunnels, railways (and more) crumble! Not for long!"

In a follow-up tweet the President wrote: "My thoughts and prayers are with everyone involved in the train accident in DuPont,Washington. Thank you to all of our wonderful First Responders who are on the scene. We are currently monitoring here at the White House."

Police had earlier reported that several automobiles were struck by the train cars injuring multiple driver on the highway below, but no motorists' deaths were reported, according to Pierce County officials.

Amtrak reported 78 passengers and five crew were aboard the train, part of its "Cascades" service from Seattle to Portland.

A highway camera showed that at least one train car toppled onto the road below and one car dangled from the overpass.

It will take the entire day to clear the debris.

The train was going 81.1 mph just before the derailment according to transitdocs.com. The maximum speed on that stretch of track in 79 mph and the engineer likely got an warning beep indicating he was over the limit.

"First responders actually climbed up into the dangling cars to get people out," Wendy Simmons told O13Fox. She arrived on scene just after the derailment. "People were pulling first aid kits out of their cars--putting jackets on people."

The accident came just two weeks after Lakewood mayor Don Anderson made the comment that it was only a matter of time a deadly derailment will occur, according to KOMO News. He advocated for grade separations to protect people from trains.

Anderson is not a suspect in the cause of the accident.
