Zohran Mamdani’s Professor Pops Drops a Bombshell: Hitler Took Cues from Lincoln?

Mayoral frontrunner Zohran Mamdani’s got some family baggage that’s raising eyebrows. His dad, Mahmood Mamdani, a big-shot Columbia prof, dropped a wild claim in a 2022 Asia Society panel, tying none other than Abraham Lincoln to Adolf Hitler’s playbook for the Holocaust. Yeah, you read that right.

Zohran, the self-described socialist gunning for NYC’s top job, grew up with a silver spoon and a side of spicy political debates, courtesy of his parents, according to a New York Times profile. His mom’s an Oscar-nominated filmmaker, and his dad’s no slouch either, a Herbert Lehman professor of government at Columbia, with a stack of books to his name.

But it’s Papa Mamdani’s 2022 comments that are stirring the pot.

"America was the genesis of what we call settler-colonialism," Mahmood declared at the Asia Society, pointing to the Civil War. "With the Civil War, Abraham Lincoln generalized the solution of reservations, they herded American Indians into separate territories. For the Nazis, this was the inspiration. Hitler realized two things: one, that genocide is doable. It is possible to do genocide, that's what Hitler realized. Second thing Hitler realized, is that you don't have to have a common citizenship."

Mahmood didn’t stop there. He claimed Nazi Germany’s Nuremberg Laws, yes, the racist, anti-Semitic ones, were “patterned after American laws.” He even argued there’s no daylight between “nationalism and colonialism” and that the Allies in WWII were basically on the same wavelength as the Nazis. "The Nazi political project was shared by the Allies, and that political project was to turn Germany into a ‘pure’ nation. A ‘pure’ nation rid of its minorities," he said. "When the Allies defeated the Nazis and went into Eastern Europe, they began to create ‘pure’ nations. To ethnically cleanse Eastern Europe of Germans – move them back into Germany. One crime doesn't wipe out another."

But the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree, and critics are digging up Zohran’s own radical gems. At a 2021 Young Democratic Socialists of America [aka Communists] conference, he rallied the crowd to go all-in, no compromises, on stuff like "seizing the means of production." Classic.

Then there’s a Gravel Institute video where he pushes for turning housing into a public free-for-all, ditching luxury condos for communal laundries and food co-ops. "If we want to end the housing crisis, the solution has to be moving toward the full de-commodification of housing," he preached.

But back to Dad.

Mahmood’s got more head-scratchers. In an interview about his book Good Muslim, Bad Muslim, he argued the term "suicide bomber" is bunk because they’re just like "soldier[s] whose objective is to kill." And as per the Washington Free Beacon, he’s even called Israel "the logical conclusion of Nazism."

Bold move, professor. You make Columbia University proud.

The Mamdani clan’s no stranger to the spotlight. But as Zohran surges in the mayoral race, these fiery family takes are fueling questions about what kind of leader he’d be. In all probability, a horrible, leftist anti-Semitic mayor.

Elon announces new political party after falling out with Trump

South Africa born Elon Musk is out here trying to rewrite the political playbook, and it’s got all the makings of a wild ride. In true Musk fashion, he took to X on Saturday night, dropped a bombshell, and announced the birth of the “America Party.”

Yeah, you heard that righ, this guy’s not just building rockets and neural chips; he’s now gunning to shake up the swamp with a brand-new political outfit. And if you know anything about Musk, he doesn’t do small.

The tech titan’s been throwing haymakers at President Trump over the “One Big, Beautiful Bill” that got inked on Friday. Musk isn’t happy, and he’s not shy about it. He’s been slinging the term “uniparty” like it’s a dirty word, accusing both Republicans and Democrats of being spineless on spending. “When it comes to bankrupting our country with waste & graft, we live in a one-party system, not a democracy,” Musk fired off on X. Ouch. He’s basically saying the whole system’s a rigged casino, and he’s ready to flip the table.

Musk’s not just venting, though. He has a plan, and it’s straight out of a sci-fi strategy game. On Friday, he laid out his battle map, suggesting the America Party should zero in on “2 or 3 Senate seats and 8 to 10 House districts.” Why? Because with Congress hanging by a thread on votes, a small squad of America Party players could be the kingmakers. “Given the razor-thin legislative margins, that would be enough to serve as the deciding vote on contentious laws, ensuring that they serve the true will of the people,” he wrote.

This whole thing kicked off after a poll Musk ran on X showed folks clamoring for a new party by a 2-to-1 margin. He responded: “By a factor of 2 to 1, you want a new political party and you shall have it!”

The guy’s basically channeling Moses parting the Red Sea, except it’s the political establishment he’s splitting. The America Party, he says, will be all about slashing debt, cutting red tape, pushing “responsible spending only,” defending free speech, and giving the U.S. military a 21st-century glow-up. Oh, and he capped it with a “Yeah!” because, you know, it’s Elon.

Now, let’s talk about the elephant in the room: Musk’s beef with Trump.

This feud’s been simmering since last month when Musk went full conspiracy theorist, hinting Trump’s got some shady Epstein connections and is sitting on those files to save his own skin. Musk later walked it back, admitting he “went too far,” but the damage was already done. Trump, never one to let a jab slide, clapped back last week, suggesting his shiny new Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE—yes, Musk named it) might turn around and bite its creator by sniffing out those juicy government subsidies propping up Musk’s empire. “DOGE is the monster that might have to go back and eat Elon,” the President quipped.

Meanwhile, Trump’s riding a political high. He just got his Big, Beautiful Bill passed, brokered peace between Iran and Israel like it’s no big deal, and had B-2 bombers doing a flyover during the bill’s signing on July 4 to flex on his nuke-strike win over Iran. It was like a modern John Wayne movie.

The guy’s practically strutting. Musk, though? He’s betting his America Party can crash that victory lap.

Here’s the thing, however, the last time a third-party candidate actually won the White House was 1860, when Abe Lincoln pulled it off as a Republican. [Don't let liberals try to convince you that Honest Abe was a Democrat.]

Musk has his work cut out for him, but if anyone’s crazy enough to try, it’s the guy who wants to colonize Mars. Stay tuned—this is just the beginning of what may turn out to be a historical move.

Hakeem Jeffries' divisive rhetoric about Civil War and Republicans, who defeated the slave holders

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY), during a ridiculous "sit-in" on the steps of the Capitol, where he wasted even more time since his 25-hour rambling, invoked Civil War-era rhetoric to portray Democrats as "patriots" and the Republican party as "traitors."

If we were to take his words as truth, then we would have to believe that Jeffries is in favor of slavery from which the Republican Party defeated the Democrat slave-holders in the Civil War. Of course he didn't mean that, which only shows that he's an idiot in a suit.

Jeffries' nonsensical comments came during a staged protest on the steps of Congress, where he was initially joined by Sen. Cory Spartacus Booker (D-NJ) and then accompanied by several other Democrats and their colleagues who were squandering their work hours to waste taxpayer money.

Rev. William Barber joined the exercise in futility. He discussed putting “principles over party," triggering Jeffries to recall an old quote by President Ulysses S. Grant at the onset of the Civil War.

“Reminds me of a letter that Ulysses Grant was said to have sent at the start of the Civil War,” Jeffries said.

"At that moment of great turmoil in the country, the country literally tearing itself apart," he set the scene before adding, "What Grant said is, 'There are but two parties in America right now - Patriots and traitors."

Grant led the Union Army to victory in the American Civil War. He was a Republican.

On April 12, 1861, as the Confederacy attacked Fort Sumter, Grant's reported quote was: “There are but two parties now: traitors and patriots. And I want hereafter to be ranked with the latter.”

Jeffires misses the point: the patriots were those in the party of Lincoln, the Republicans, who were fighting the Democrats in the South in order to end slavery.

Facts are uncomfortable for the Left. For example, Northeastern Illinois University in Chicago has a plaque on one of their buildings that refers to Abraham Lincoln as a "Democrat." Everyone with a brain knows old Honest Abe was a Republican, but the plaque, written in 1905 on the Frank Lloyd Wright Building reads: "This building is dedicated to public service honoring the memory of Abraham Lincoln Democrat."

They need to steal the accomplishments from the GOP to make themselves sound viable.

Jeffries using a quote from a Republican who fought against the Democrats in the South that supported the institution of slavery to portray the modern GOP as "traitors" is a strange choice, but perhaps he was just trying to pull the wool over the eyes of ignorant constituents.

"Hakeem Jeffries isn't wrong," one man wrote. "He's just confused about which of these two parties he and his ilk belong to."

This isn't the first time Jeffries has tried to instigate violence since President Trump entered the Oval Office.

Ten days after the inauguration, the New York Democrat vowed they were "gonna fight" the President's agenda "in the streets."

Why is it that politicians are able to get away with calls for violence? The U.S. Constitution is quite clear about what is free speech, and this does not qualify as such.

Trump addresses Gettysburg crowd

Gettysburg, PA -- Donald Trump spoke to his base at the same location as Abraham Lincoln when he gave his 13 minute Gettysburg Address in 1863 when he tried to unify the country during the Civil War.

However, Donald only unified his base it appears as he complained about Hillary Clinton, the media, his female accusers who he called "liars,"  and how America is "rigged."

The time Trump used to complain took about as long as the entire Gettysburg Address.

Donald promised that after the election he would sue the nearly dozen women who had recently gone to the media alleging he perpetrated sexual misconduct toward them. "Every woman lied when they came forward to hurt my campaign . . . total fabrication," he told the Trump faithful, saying that this has rigged the election against him. "The events never happened. Never. All of these liars will be sued after the election is over."

This speech was touted by the Trump campaign as a "Contract with the American Voter." He said that within the first 100 days in office he would take six major steps. "It is a contract between myself and the American voter and begins with restoring honesty, accountability and change to Washington."

Part of Trump's "contract" will be to impose term limits via Constitutional amendment. He wants a 5-year ban on White House and congressional officials from becoming lobbyists after leaving government service. He also wants a lifetime ban on White House officials lobbying on behalf of a foreign government.

"I am not a politician," Trump said. "But when I saw the trouble our country was in, I felt I had to act."

He said that if he wins the presidency, his administration would try to undo a deal in which AT&T will buy Time Warner. He worried that the deal would create a major media conglomerate. But the deal was inked just now and he's too late.

As Election Day is nigh approaching (in just 16 days) Trump is trailing Clinton in most polls. Today's speech was apparently designed to show that he has a grasp on policy, but he didn't provide much more substance than what we've already heard, except about the litigation he has vowed against his female accusers.

And while Trump has not political experience, he describes (accurately) Clinton's 30 years of experience at failure and incompetence, explaining that she has failed to solve any major domestic and foreign issues.

Trump trails Clinton by 6 points in Pennsylvania but it appears that over the past few days he is cutting into her lead.

I hope Trump gets elected--it will make America interesting again.
