Military operations by the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have increased in the Gaza Strip and they were also able to thwart an ambush by Hamas using intelligence and ground forces.
Over the last day, three Israeli military personnel were killed. Rocket attacks were also reported in northern Israel as the war continues.
For the first time since the start of the war against Hamas, the IDF airdropped supplies to the troops on the ground.
Benny Gantz, who is a retired IDF General and a member of the knesset, is currently serving as Israel's Defense Minister. He spoke with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken regarding the Hezbollah threat and the fact that Hezbollah is violating UN Resolution 1701, which prohibits the Iran-backed terrorist organization from holding weapons south of the Litani River in Lebanon.
It's likely that Israel, after the war, will set up a buffer zone to protect their citizens from future attacks that Hamas has promised to prosecute.
So there it is, short and not so sweet.
