It's the height of hypocrisy that Iran's UN ambassador is calling the droning of terrorist Gen. Qassem Soleimani an "act of war," but the rocket attack that left one American dead and subsequent attack on the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad akin to "some people did something."
Ambassador Majid Takht Ravanchi told the Compromised News Network that there would be "harsh revenge" for the killing of their terrorist head of their Quds Force on Friday. CNN nodded in agreement with the horror of losing one of their own anti-Trumpers.
“In fact, it was an act of war on the part of the United States against the Iranian people,” he said, discounting the American killing and subsequent attack on our embassy, which is considered US soil and a fully legal act of war.
The US “started a military war by assassinating, by an act of terror, against one of our top generals,” Ravanchi lied--it wasn't an assassination, it was the preemptive elimination of a future threat that was in the works, planned by one of the world's worst terrorists.
“We cannot just close our eyes to what happened last night,” he said. “Definitely there will be revenge. There will be harsh revenge. Iran will act based on its own choosing. The time and place will be decided by Iran.”
And once that is decided, Iran will again be in the crosshairs of the U.S. military. It's really up to them to decide our response should they again attack us. Perhaps they will try taking our sailors hostage, as they did in the Straits of Hormuz. Maybe they will try to blow up a Marine Corps barracks, as they did in Beirut. But whatever they try, President Trump is not going to take their crap as past presidents have.
When there are consequences, Iran will think twice. Oh, they'll do something to avoid losing face, but I seriously doubt it will go as far as all out war. Sadly, I suspect the left would like a war, simply to prove Trump wrong.
On Friday, President Trump told reporters that the terrorist Soleimani had to be taken out to protect American lives, saying: “We took action last night to stop a war. We did not take action to start a war.”
“Soleimani was plotting imminent and sinister attacks on American diplomats and military personnel, but we caught him in the act and terminated him,” Trump said.
As predicted, the left took Iran's side.
The commander-in-chief said that Soleimani had plotted the rocket attack last weekend that killed an American contractor and wounded service members, as well as the attack on the US Embassy in Baghdad that followed.
Ravanchi denied those facts in another bullcrap interview with NBC News.
Meanwhile, protestors are out on the streets of Bill de Blasio's city protesting Trump and supporting Iran. I would love to see them in Iran protesting the Ayatollah.
