The Comedy News Network [aka CNN] has finally gotten serious in their reporting. Oh, wait, no they didn't.
White House Press Secretary Stephanie Grisham tweeted: “This should be a story about Soleimani planning imminent attacks on diplomats & how American lives were saved because of @realDonald Trump decisive actions.”
Fox News also noted, “A current CNN employee who must remain anonymous if he or she values their job, told the outlet, ‘There are plenty of valid reasons to argue against targeting a high-ranking foreign government official. But our newsroom is so jaded and anti-Trump that it posted this tweet which lacked any journalistic merit.’”
When the news broke of the drone strike that killed Iranian terrorist, Maj. Gen. Qassem Soleimani, CNN reported that when it went down, President Trump was eating ice cream.
Ironically, America's Airport News Station failed to report that Michael Moore was eating a double Whopper, large fries, giant slurpy and apple pie at the time, or reveal the whereabouts of Don Lemon and Anderson Cooper. Were they together? Were they also eating ice cream? I don't know. Do you?
Fox News reported that, “CNN’s Kaitlan Collins penned a blog post headlined, ‘President Trump dined on ice cream as news of the airstrike broke,’ in which Collins wrote, “ “As meatloaf and ice cream were served, the Pentagon confirmed that the U.S. was behind the strikes, the only statement from the administration throughout the night.”
And, by the way, where was Meatloaf? Is he still making music? CNN didn't say.
Ice cream? Was it peach ice cream? See the connection? Impeach!
Collins then offered this brilliant and thoughtful comparison:
Putting this airstrike in perspective: The scene Friday was similar to the one after Trump gave the order for American forces to carry out the missile strike on a Syrian airfield in the spring 2017. After that strike, Trump went into great detail about the chocolate cake he had with Chinese President Xi Jinping, who was there for a summit, when he informed him about the series of tomahawk missiles.

Jaded is a polite way of saying "screwed up."
Lacking journalistic integrity, CNN has been laser focused on President Trump's ice cream intake. In 2018, the not-so talented Jill Filipovic wrote a CNN op-ed in which she noted Trump “reportedly enjoys treating himself to an extra scoop of ice cream after dinner every night.” Important news or just a feeble attempt to make Trump sound like a glutton?
And how does Filipovic know that he has an extra scoop of ice cream every night? This sounds like an exaggeration to me, and I am very suspect of her so-called observation.
Did the far-left news report on JFK or Bill Clinton having an extra woman every night?
In May 2017, CNN broke a Time magazine story revealing the block busting news that Trump got two, not one, but two scoops of ice cream when eating dinner with reporters.
So Trump orders a drone strike on one of the worst terrorists in the world, a scumbag who was responsible for the death of over 600 Americans and 1,000 British military, and the left is so mired in their hatred for him personally, that they side with the terrorist.
No wonder CNN pays dozens of airports $100,000 each to play their station to people who aren't able to change the channel to Fox News or Jeopardy.
