AOC after someone said, "Look, a dead bird" |
Rep. Alexandria Occasionally Coherent-Cortex (D-soc-NY) still needs to ask directions to find her office, but she, like a teenager, knows everything and Democratic senators are frustrated with her lack of basic knowledge about most things. They say her views aren't in line with those of their constituents. Actually her views are more in line with Joe Stalin.
Since becoming famous [mostly for her dancing and lack of math skills] Cortex has accused Immigration and Customs Enforcement, or ICE, of "death," attacked the media and fact checkers for checking her "facts."
She also proposed a 70 percent socialist-style tax rate for the evil wealthy because she just does not like them and believes it would somehow pay for free healthcare, free college, free Skittles, whatever.
Centrist Democrats are worried about the party adopting these and other untenable positions for their platform, saying it will hurt their chances for reelection in upcoming races, the Hill reports. But it should be popular with their unemployed, lack of motivation and dead-spirited base.
Her Green New Deal is a clear example of how she wants to implement socialism into the fabric of our economy. She actually thinks that taking away the budget for the military [before Russia, Iran and China decide to walk all over us] will pay the $40 TRILLION for her socialist programs. All the money spent on the military, since the country was formed, would not come close to that figure and she doesn't have a real clue about how to pay for the spending she wants.
Democrats have to pick up at least three seats in 2020 to gain control of the Senate. In order to do so they will need to focus on winning in centrist or Republican-leaning states like Alabama, Colorado, New Hampshire, Iowa and North Carolina by pretending to be conservatives.
Some of the bipartisan issues Democrats would prefer to focus on in those states include helping veterans, lowering health care costs, and focusing on the federal deficit, but Cortex is driving the party to focus on other issues, according to some lawmakers and wants to defund the military.
Sen. Jeanne Shaheen (D., NH), who faces a competitive reelection in 2020, said Cortex's "views don’t represent a lot of my constituents." It turns out that a lot of her constituents are not communists and have jobs.
Sen. Doug Jones (D-Ala.), one of the most vulnerable incumbents up for reelection in 2020, said he's not happy the idiot is becoming a sort of spokesperson for the party, saying, "I think it skews what’s really there for the Democratic Party."
In the House, Rep. Alcee Hastings (D-FL) said last summer that "Meteors fizz out. What she will learn in this institution is that it’s glacial to begin with, and therefore no matter how far you rise, that’s just how far you will ultimately get your comeuppance."
Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.), who won reelection in a state President Donald Trump won by 42 points, echoed Jones' sentiment, saying that while liberals in the party might be getting widespread media attention now, it will be the centrist Democrats who get bills passed into law. In other words, the swamp-dwellers.
Cortex hasn't been shy about criticizing Trump, but centrist Democrats have warned the approach isn't a recipe for victory in 2020. On the other hand, it seems that even centrist Democrats have little to show for a plan other than criticizing the entire GOP with their claims of sexism, bigotry, homophobia, xenophobia, Islamophobia, phobiaphobia bull droppings.
Former Sens. Claire McCaskill (D-MO) and Joe Donnelly (D-IN), who both lost during the 2018 midterms, expressed concern "Trump bashing" will hurt Democrats' chances of taking back the Senate and defeating Trump in 2020. This, they believe, may have something to do with the notion that the nation elected him president of the United States.
"I worry that the Democrats are majoring in Trump bashing," she began, unaware that Democrats often majored in lesbian dance theory. "And we’ll have to do more than that in order to win the confidence of enough Americans to regain the Senate and importantly the presidency," McCaskill said.
Will 2019 be the year you follow Brain Flushings and have a few laughs while you get a conservative viewpoint? Let's hope so, because politics is the new NFL without the mindless kneeling and this blog will both inform you and hopefully entertain you bigly.
