Israel no longer will participate in "Miss Universe" Pageant for now

The Miss Israel beauty contest is no more. It was cancelled this year and the nation will not participate in the international Miss Universe competition which is scheduled to take place in the U.S. in January 2023, providing World War Three remains on hold.

“People change, [and] the world changes,” Linor Abargil, who is Miss Israel 1998 and is now a lawyer and practices Orthodox Judaism. She added in the Instagram post:  “[A] woman is not a body or a face and no one in the world has the right to criticize us, or to assess our weight to see if it matches what is going on in the market.” [H/T Times of Israel]

Probably the most famous Israeli winner of Miss World is movie star Gal Gadot, who won the title in 2004. 

Former Miss Israel, Sivan Klein, shared similar sentiments as Abargil while Miss Israel 2019, Sella Sharlin, believes the event could have been reformed.

The Miss Israel competition did not provide a reason for the contest’s cancellation, or indicate if it might be brought back at any point, announcing simply, “We will not participate in the Miss Universe contest this year.”

With no 2nd Amendment, Iran's government votes to kill 15,000 protesters as a 'hard lesson'

Following the death of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini, a young woman arrested and allegedly beaten to death at the hands of her government for not wearing a mandatory head scarf, women all over Iran peacefully protested against what was done to her. Now, in a disgustingly horrific move, Iran's 'holier than thou' Parliament has voted to execute 15,000 protesters to teach the living a "hard lesson."

In late October, the Biden administration said it would be levying sanctions against 14 Iranian officials in response to the crackdown, but that only got the Iranian government to crack down even harder as the voted on Tuesday to kill 15,000 protesters who have been arrested.

And liberals wonder why we need a Second Amendment.

Iranian journalist and activist [aren't they all] Masih Alinejad called on the international community to “stop this act of terror.”

Of the 290 members of Iran's Parliament, 227 voted to kill the protesters as a way of spreading peace among the more Islamic worshippers who say the executions "would serve as a good lesson in the shortest possible time."

“Now, the public, even protesters who are not supportive of riots, demand from the judiciary and security institutions to deal with the few people who have caused disturbances in a firm, deterrent, and legal manner,” Iranian government spokesman and major scumbag Masoud Setayeshi said, according to Reuters.

On Monday, a Revolutionary Court in Tehran issued the first death sentence to a protestor. 

A court in Iran has issued the first death sentence to a person arrested for taking part in the protests that have engulfed the country, state media say, as reported by the BBC.

A Revolutionary Court in Tehran found the defendant, who was not named, had set fire to a government facility and was guilty of “enmity against God”.

Another court jailed five people for between five and 10 years on national security and public order charges.

A human rights group warned authorities might be planning “hasty executions”.

At least 20 people are currently facing charges punishable by death, Norway-based Iran Human Rights said, citing official reports.

In response to the horrific situation, President Joseph R. Biden sucked on his wife's finger, Jake Sullivan wrote a nasty letter, and transgender women in the US military wore black ribbons on their collars.

Russian missile kills 2 in Poland: Polish Gov't calls NATO crisis meeting

On Tuesday, a pair of Russian cruise missiles missed hitting Ukraine and hit Poland instead killing two very unlucky Polish citizens.

The missiles was part of salvo of about 100 sea- and air-launched weapons allegedly targeting Ukraine's electric generation, transmission and distribution infrastructure. However, Poland Prime Minister, Mateusz Morawiecki, isn't taking chances that this was an accident and has convened an emergency meeting of the Polish government to discuss the attack. 

Consultations with NATO will probably follow as Resolution 4 may be invoked.

At this moment in time, we are not certain what was behind the missile strike but this doesn't look good and if Poland should declare an Article 5, all NATO nations are obligated to fight for Poland as it's all for one and one for all in the NATO agreement.

The US Defense Department has not pointed a finger at Russia but background briefings from intelligent officials [as opposed to stupid Biden officials] have placed the blame on Russia.

For their part, some pro-Russian accounts blame a Ukrainian surface-to-air missile gone astray, but this is very unlikely as Western missiles have a self-destruct mechanism to prevent such a situation. And surface-to-air missiles fired from Ukraine at incoming Russian missiles would have splashed in Ukraine in what is known as a fishing expedition.

Some of Russia’s media personalities don’t appear to be denying the source of the missile. For example, here is the editor-in-chief of RT giving her opinion:

But don't freak out over the incident just yet as it will not create the need for a NATO consultation under the NATO Article 5 provision, but under Article 4. So war is not necessarily going to happen, although it might. In the case of Article 4, this will likely result in more support for Ukraine.

DeSantis gets in the mud with Trump

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) decided to respond to former President Donald Trump's ongoing attacks against him. He spoke at a press conference on Tuesday and called Trump's comments "noise" adding that he's more focused on delivering for voters at the highest possible level. 

A reporter asked him what he thinks of Trump's "big announcement" tonight, Tuesday, and what he thinks of the ongoing attacks by him.

“Well, you know, one of the things I’ve learned in this job is when you’re doing, when you’re leading, when you’re getting things done, you take incoming fire, that’s just the nature of it,” DeSantis said. “I roll out of bed in the morning, I’ve got corporate media outlets that have a spasm, just the fact that I’m getting up in the morning, and it’s constantly attacking, and this is just what’s happened.” 

In other words, as the old saying goes, 'if you're catching flack, you're over the target.'

“I don’t think any governor got attacked more particularly by corporate media than me over my four-year term,” DeSantis continued. “And yet, I think what you learn is all that’s just noise. And really what matters is: Are you leading? Are you getting in front of issues? Are you delivering results for people? And are you standing up for folks? And if you do that, then none of that stuff matters. And that’s what we’ve done.”

“We focused on results and leadership. And, you know, at the end of the day, I would just tell people to go check out the scoreboard from last Tuesday night,” DeSantis continued. “The fact of the matter is, it was the greatest Republican victory in the history of the state of Florida.”

Trump has been attempting to label DeSantis as "Ron DeSanctimonious" but rather than sticking the landing, he seems to have fallen on his butt and sounds more like a child. 

I can only imagine that a lot more of this is destined to come and I hope DeSantis doesn't allow himself to get sucked into Trump's wheelhouse.

Waukesha parade murderer at sentencing hearing today

He rolls his eyes as they tearfully describe how their lives were changed by him

Darrell Brooks, Jr., is soon to hear the sentence Judge Jennifer Dorow will be handing down on him, most likely by Wednesday this week. Brooks is the person who drove into the Christmas Parade in Waukesha, Wisconsin on November 21, 2021, killing 6 parade goers, including an 8-year-old child, and injuring 61 others.

As he listened to the victim statements, he rolled his eyes, at one time he pretended to pray, and patted his heart as a prop to give the illusion he cares about his victims. He looked bored being in court, but he will have a whole lifetime of boredom if he gets a life sentence, which seems likely.

As it turned out, he was found guilty on all 76 counts against him and will obviously be spending much, if not all of his life in prison.

He cannot hid his narcissism and arrogance as once again interrupted the court with his ongoing nonsense, to the point that he again had to be removed to the adjacent courtroom until he promised to keep his mouth shut.

Hopefully, Brooks will get 6 life sentences for those he killed, plus more years for the other crimes. Hopefully he will leave prison in a pine box, and hopefully this will come sooner rather than later.

Zelensky aide admits Ukraine's vote against Israel at UN hearing was a "grave mistake"

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's personal aide, Alexey Aristovych, admitted on Sunday that Ukraine's vote to support a United Nations resolution criminalizing Israel was "a grave mistake." But it was more than that: it was a lie against the Jewish State and Ukraine is yet another anti-Zionist/anti-Semitic country hell bent on seeing Israel's destruction.

And the "grave mistake" Arestovych admitted only comes from their current need of Israel to provide them with weaponry to fight the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

In an online livestream, Arestovych said that “Ukraine’s foreign ministry’s position was illogical and unacceptable.”

“We’re teaming up with Russia and Iran who are attacking us, and distancing ourselves from Israel — which we want as an ally,” Aristovich said.

“Ukraine must at least abstain from such votes,” he stupidly added. You don't abstain from such votes you go against them. 

A UN committee approved a resolution to request the International Court of Justice to “urgently” weigh in on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and Israeli “annexation.” Of course they approved it--the Palestinian Authority can do no wrong, even when it comes to their terrorist attacks on Israeli civilians, including schools.

The UN General Assembly Fourth Committee voted in favor of the measure by a margin of 98 in favor, 17 opposed and 52 abstentions that include France and the UK. I guess their 'no-go zones' scared the bejeezus out of them.

Both Ukraine and Russia voted in favor of the anti-Zionist resolution and both should be treated the same by Israel.

Other countries that voted in favor of the political jihad include Egypt and Jordan, both of which have signed peace treaties with Israel, as well as Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates, which recently signed normalization agreements with the Jewish state as part of the Abraham Accords.

Ukraine has repeatedly requested military aid and equipment from Israel to stave off Russia’s assault on the country since late February. While providing humanitarian assistance to Ukraine, Israel has maintained a strict policy of not providing military aid, including systems that could help it intercept Russian missile and drone attacks, but that hasn't stopped Ukraine from begging, even after going along with the UN resolution.

Zelensky said earlier this month that, with Iran’s involvement in the war, as a key supplier of deadly drones to Russia, he hoped Israel would change its stance.

However, Aristovych suggested in an interview on Saturday that Iran might be reconsidering its aid to Moscow’s war effort after having received “an offer it can’t resist” from the West, without elaborating further.

So c'mon Israel--Volodymyr needs your help. Don't take that silly old UN resolution so seriously.

COVID studies have begun regarding link to myocarditis

Finally, studies have begun to determine the long-term impact of mRNA COVID-19 vaccines in order to determine if there is a causal link between the vaccines [which in itself is a misnomer since it does not do what vaccinations are intended to do] and myocarditis. 

The Food and Drug Administration had required Pfizer and BioNTech to conduct the studies when it approved the companies’ drug for use in August 2021 and required one study to be completed by the next presidential election. Another longer five-year study is to be completed by 2026 if the Democrats have not made the country a China possession by then.

The FDA sent a similar letter to Moderna in January that called for one study to be completed by 2023 and the longer-term study by 2028.

Moderna has begun two trials, according to NBC News. Pfizer, the outlet reported, will be starting its trials soon and early results could be released early 2023.

Myocarditis is an inflammation of the heart muscle, while pericarditis is an inflammation of the heart’s outer lining. There have been ongoing debates over the link between the vaccines and heart issues.

A study by Canadian researchers in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology, found that there is an elevated risk of heart issues within a boat three weeks of the second dose of the vaccine, eh.

“Some rare, but serious, side effects have been observed after both [the Moderna and Pfizer] vaccines, mainly myocarditis,” according to a news release from the American College of Cardiology.

Researchers found that the incidence of myocarditis within 21 days of the second dose was 35.6 cases per million. In 2018, the incidence of myocarditis in the general population was around two per million, so there's that.

A study published by the Annals of Internal Medicine also noted a connection, although it said the risk is low, especially if you don't take the vaccine.

“We found that myocarditis/pericarditis 0 to 7 days after mRNA vaccination in persons aged 5 to 39 years occurred in approximately 1 in 200 000 doses after the first dose and 1 in 30 000 doses after second dose of the primary series, and 1 in 50 000 doses after the first booster,” the study said. 

Both studies noted that young men were at the highest risk of developing myocarditis after receiving the vaccine, so Joe Biden is probably safe.

UVA manhunt for ex-football player shooting suspect underway

A manhunt is currently underway on and nearby the University of Virginia grounds Monday morning for a student and former college footballer in the shooting on the Charlottesville campus Sunday night. Three people are dead and two are wounded.

The shooter, Christopher Darnell Jones, Jr., was on the school's football team in 2018 but never played a game. He is described by police as a black male wearing a burgundy jacket or hoodie, jeans and red shoes. Really--red shoes. He might be driving a black SUV with Virginia tag TWX3580.

In a message to the community Monday morning, UVA President Jim Ryan confirmed that Jones is a student.

"As of writing this, I am heartbroken to report the shooting has resulted in three fatalities; two additional victims were injured and are receiving medical care," Ryan wrote. "Our University Police Department has joined forces with other law enforcement agencies to apprehend the suspect, and we will keep our community apprised for developments as the situation evolves."

Classes were canceled on Monday, and students and faculty were instructed to remain sheltered in place.

Little is known about Jones and his unremarkable career as a football linebacker who never was put in to play at the college level. And rather than going into what is known about him, he doesn't deserve any notoriety; the only reason to print his name and photo is for identification purposes, not to make him famous so that others might follow in his evil footsteps.

What is known about him according to his family is that he tended to get into fights in high school that led to suspensions. Family and others tried to get him to focus on his studies and curb his anger. "If it wasn't for these people in my life, I would've been just another kid whose dad left him," Jones reportedly said. 

Multiple agencies, including Virginia State Police helicopter, are actively searching for Jones.

The shooting happened around 10:30 p.m. on Sunday in the Culbreth parking garage, prompting a campus alert warning the school community of an active attacker firearm reported and to "RUN. HIDE. FIGHT."

Ryan confirmed the shooting happened school grounds.
