Priests 'cease and desist' at Walter Reed MC ahead of Holy Week: here's a solution

Walter Reed National Military Medical Center has ended it's contract to Franciscan Catholic priests and friars at Holy Name College on March 31, a few days prior to Holy Week. You don't have to be a Catholic to figure out that this is the most important time of the year for Catholics and it seems cold and cruel to do this to patients at the facility who look to spiritual intervention at a time when they may feel they need it most.

Priests have been administering to these US military personnel for the past twenty years and their beneficiaries at Walter Reed.

“It is incomprehensible that essential pastoral care is taken away from the sick and the aged when it was so readily available,” Archbishop Timothy P. Broglio, the head of the Archdiocese for the Military Services, said in a statement on Good Friday.

The facility will contract with a private organization that claims to fulfill the needs of patients. Does this mean that being the Biden administration's woke Defense Department is the spearhead of the move that patients will now be entertained by Drag Queen dance recitals or story hour?

I have an idea about how this godless situation might get solved, but it would require Pope Francis to grow a set. 

All he would have to do is threaten to excommunicate Joe Biden, and mean it. 

Biden claims to be a good Catholic, in spite of his support of killing babies right up to when they pop out into the world. This would put him in a dilemma, and while he might not change course with keeping priests at Walter Reed, at the very least it would illuminate his hypocrisy and just how secular the left has become.

Of course, this would only work if Biden remembers that he claimed to be a practicing Catholic.

MSNBC ANALyst: Military vets who support POTUS are "not honorable'

An MSNBC analyst said that military veterans who support President Trump are "not honorable."

Malcolm Nance apparently knows the character and heart of we veterans who support the President of the United States. Those of us who support what he does as President, not necessarily what he does outside of his job.

Nancy was responding to what White House aide Kelly Sadler said about Sen. John McCain's (R-AZ) statement that he would vote 'nay' on the CIA director nominee Gina Haspel. Sadler said of the situation, "It doesn't matter, he's dying anyway."

Sadler apologized to McCain's daughter Meghan, but did not do so publicly. She should--she is totally wrong and her words are disgusting. Trump should also have her fired, as I've previously said, and apologize on behalf of his administration. He should also fire the leaker, as I also previously said.

But McCain is free to vote however he decides to vote. His own history of being a prisoner of war in Vietnam has colored his decision and it's understandable. I disagree totally with his decision, but I understand why he feels the way he does, and he wrong.

However, Malcolm Nance is an a-hole for saying that veterans who support our president are not honorable. I believe those who do not support the president as president, as opposed to supporting his pre-presidential behavior, are the ones who are dishonorable. You support the president because you support the country. 

Honorable people want him to succeed, not fail. Honorable people put country ahead of political party. Dishonorable people put their own politics and ideology before country.

When Trump said John McCain wasn't a war hero because he was captured, i wrote that he was wrong. I received some flack from his die hard followers, but if you catch flack it means you're over the target.

As a veteran and Trump supporter (let's face it, he's doing great things), I resent idiots who generalize about an entire group of people. They are liberals and identity politics is all they have to counter the right.

Being a Navy veteran doesn't give Nance any greater credibility about who I am or who my brothers in arms are and were.

I am a USMC Vietnam veteran and I am an honorable American and Nance can go to hell.

Edmonton terror attack and why politicians suck

Edmonton, Canada -- A police officer was injured after a car plowed into a police car, the driver got out of the vehicle and stabbed the officer several times. A manhunt was begun after the Islamist fled the scene, which occurred outside a Canadian Football League (CFL) game in Edmonton.

It has been confirmed by local media that the car the terrorist was driving had an ISIS flag in the trunk.

Later, a white U-Haul van intentionally rammed into a crowd of people on the street around 11:00 pm on Saturday, local time.

The police stopped a van that matched the description of the U-Haul vehicle, but it sped away and was chased by police. During the chase, the van swerved into pedestrians.

It isn't yet known if the two incidents are related, but they have the putrified smell of Islamic terrorism because they went after law enforcement in the first case, and complete, random strangers in the second, especially since witnesses heard the van driver shouting the national anthem of Islamic terrorism: "Allahu Akbar!"

Roadblocks have been set up by police and streets were cordoned off as they hunt for the scumquat who fled on foot after hitting the cop on 107A Avenue, in Edmonton.

The suspect in the van is a 30-year-old jihadi and is in custody. He appears to have acted alone, but an ISIS flag was found inside the vehicle. Nobody is saying that this was an Islamic terrorist attack, that wouldn't be politically correct.

The police officer struck by the first vehicle is in the hospital and is expected to make a full recovery. The four infidels struck by the van are also in the hospital--their individual conditions are unknown at this time.

Alberta Premier Rachel Notley and Prime Minister Justin "Jihadi" Trudeau condemned the attacks,  using his John Kerry-style index cards, and they urged the community to support its members, whatever the hell that means.

"The horrific events last night in downtown Edmonton have left us shocked and angry," Notley said, as if this was the first terror attack she'd ever heard about. "It's left us shocked at the indiscriminate cruelty and angry that someone might target their hatred at places where we gather with our families and friends," she added from her bubble of isolation and media silence.

Here is some bull-pucks of what Trudeau had to say Sunday morning--I have offered a few of my own thoughts [in brackets]:

"The Government of Canada and Canadians stand with the people of Edmonton after the [Islamic] terrorist attack on Saturday that sent an Edmonton Police Service officer to hospital and injured a number of innocent people who were out to cheer on their football team [they don't take a knee yet in Canada] and to enjoy an evening in their city. I am deeply concerned and outraged by this tragedy.

"Our thoughts are with those injured, their family and friends, and all those affected by this senseless act of violence. [It isn't senseless if you read the Koran--infidels are not considered to be 'innocent' by extremists.] I am also grateful for the first responders who were there on the scene, and the enforcement authorities who have been working through the night to make sure that everybody in Edmonton and Alberta is safe and secure. Police officers put themselves at great personal risk every single day on our behalf, and this attack is a stark reminder of the sacrifices they make of the sacrifices they make for the public good.

"While the investigation continues, early reports indicate that this is another example of the hate [bull pucks--this is another example of religious jihad--it isn't the same thing] that we must remain ever vigilant against . . .

"We cannot--and will not--let violent extremism take root in our communities. [Of course they will--what's stopping violent ISLAMIC EXTREMISTS from taking root in their communities? Trudeau is doing nothing to stop Syrians and other immigrants from inundating Canada's cities, and we know there will be extremists among them.] We know that Canada's strength comes from our diversity, and we will not be cowed by those who seek to divide us or promote fear." [This line is nothing more than an advertisement for Trudeau's loose immigration policy that's making much of Canada look like Merkel's Germany.]

ISIS has taken credit for this attack, and the attack in France that killed two women.

Remember, protected politicians such as Trudeau, Notley, or any other lawmaker in high office, are mainly never affected by the policies and laws they implement.

It isn't fair.

'Will and Grace' was graceless

The premiere episode of "Will & Grace" on NBC was a shallow attempt at revenge for the second loss in a presidential election by Hillary Clinton. 

The show was like a TV infomercial for "Poofume," for when you've taken a dump and guests are about to ring the doorbell, just spray it on the bowl water a wah-lah! No more stink.

Except one couldn't say that about the show itself.

The new and unimproved introductory episode referred to Melania Trump as a "hostage" and went so far as to portray Midwesterners as people who never ate vegetables until Michelle "All This For A Flag" Obama became First Lady.

Grace, played by Debra Messing, simply had to gripe about the 2016 presidential election in which a witch lost to a TV personality. 

It turns out that Grace got the job of redecorating the Oval Office because Trump "has been pouting that his office is a real dump."

When Bill Clinton occupied the Oval (aka Oral) Office, Hillary had something else to say about it that was a lot worse than what Trump said.

Grace then took a shot at Melania saying she wouldn't hire anyone for the job who is pretty enough to attract the president. She must have mistaken Trump for John F. Kennedy. 

Melania has no competition when it comes to beauty and she has nothing to worry about, but apparently "Will and Grace" does if it keeps up the political garbage.

But the most disgusting part of the show was when Grace and her assistant went to the White House and the show mocked Kellyanne Conway's moment as the infamous couch photo, and President Ronald Reagan's Alzheimer disease. 

They mocked a President who later developed Alzheimer disease! They actually think that's funny.

They also made fun of Trump's appearance and by the end of the episode, Grace left a "Make America Gay Again" hat on his chair.

The episode did well in the ratings department, but that was to be expected of a show that's reincarnated. It will also likely do well with liberals, leftists, gays, lesbians, queers, the transgender mentally ill and people who are unable to physically change the channel.

The post-premiere ratings will probably come down and soon become on par with Chris Matthews and Joe Scarborough once the nostalgia factor is gone. Also, younger people (age range 18 to 49) aren't part of the nostalgia factor and don't care about the show's characters, and the show's political stance will turn off a lot of normal people.

Fox News' Senior Vice President of Marketing and Entertainment and an on-air contributor Michael Tammero was "very excited" about the show but didn't watch the whole 30 minute episode.

"It was a very important show, as someone who is gay and married . . . it was a show that initially played a huge role in changing hearts and minds in this country and advancing LGBTQ issues," he said. "I expected some anti-Republican, anti-Trump lines, but I did not expect every single line to be some sort of jab."

He said that he cannot predict if the show's political views will hurt viewership, but I suspect it will.

Many conservatives who saw the premiere tweeted and said they wouldn't tune in again because they were offended by the politics. One viewer asked, "Why alienate a large part of America?"

Because the writers for the show evidently believe their political attacks on the right are more important than the show's success.

One tweeted that "Will & Grace" used to be a good show but is now simply a "tool for hate," and called it "Will & Disgrace."

The Media Research Center's TV reporter Amelia Hamilton called the storyline "a lazy way to take shots at the president for the entire length of the show," and said it was embarrassing.

"Hollywood still hasn't realized that shows like this do nothing but help Donald Trump," she wrote. "When will Hollywood learn that they're basically running his reelection campaign by doing this?"

Hopefully, the show will rekindle interest in Hillary Clinton running again in 2020. She is truly a gift to the Grand Old Party.

"The election made me do it" says Comey

Okay, he didn't actually use those words but an exclusive Fox News report says that it was the election that motivated the FBI to release new information into the Clinton email probe, as per a Comey memo.

It was learned that Comey was briefed about the new records regarding Anthony Weiner and a 15-year-old girl on Thursday. It isn't clear if he read the evidentiary information.

According to the report, Comey told the bureau that he broke with custom whereby under normal circumstances the FBI would not reveal the reopening of a case to the public but because Clinton is seeking the presidency on November 8th, he felt obligated to let the cat out of the garbage bag in spite of the political sensitivity.

"Of course we don't ordinarily tell Congress about ongoing investigations, but here I feel obligation to do so given that I testified repeatedly in recent months that our investigation was completed," Comey's memo said. "I also think it would be misleading to the American people were we not to supplement the record.

"At the same time, however, given that we do not know the significance of this newly discovered collection of emails, I don't want to create a misleading impression," the letter continued. "In trying to strike that balance, in a brief letter, and in the middle of an election season, there is significant risk of being misunderstood, but I wanted you to hear directly from me about it."

In other words, Comey is probably just covering his butt after the blowback from the bureau and the Justice Department, as well as public opinion. It was unanimous among those who were part of the investigation that Clinton should have been indicted, and Comey wants to save his reputation.

However, nobody will be surprised if this turns out to simply be an exercise in futility and bull droppings and Comey gets to feel absolved while Hillary gets to smirk at us as she is sworn in on January 20, 2017.

I hope I'm wrong.

Interestingly, Clinton announced that the Comey revelation was only told to Congressional Republicans but guess what. She lied--can you believe that? The letter went out to both sides of the aisle.
