Biden stumbles several times boarding Air Force One stairs: it wasn't funny

President Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr., did a double-klutz as he mounted the stairs of Air Force One Friday on his way to Georgia.

The elderly President was moving too fast, evidently, when he tripped, attempted to gather himself and do his best to look cool, then tripped again before he was able to stand and finally make his way inside the plane. It was windy and Joe isn't overweight like Trump, his evil predecessor, so the wind must have knocked him down.

But he got up and that's what counts. Ain't nobody gonna stop "Joltin' Joe," to borrow a sobriquet from a now-dead baseball player.

So yeah, it was the wind . . . that's the ticket. You can see the fall happening on this video.

From one camera angle, Biden's entire torso went out of view as his butt went up when he stumbled the second time.  His aged hand can be seen still holding on for life to the railing of the jet stairs. Biden then slowly got up and gingerly made it the rest of the way up the jet stairs.

Another video angle from Hill TV shows that Joe was down on his knee for a moment, before getting up and pausing briefly with one hand on the railing and the other rubbing his knee while holding back the tears.

In December, Biden, ever the doodle-klutz fractured his foot while chasing his dog in the shower. It is unknown why his dog was with him in the shower, but you never know when the good times roll with Joe.

The dog was not hurt.

Last year former Vice President Mike Pence stumbled while boarding Air Force 2 but was not and is not cognitively impaired.

Even former President Barack Hussein Obama tripped boarding Air Force One's treacherous stairs in 2015 on his way to screw up the nation.

And of course there was former President Gerald Ford, who nearly went down headfirst on Air Force One in 1975, and he was an athlete at Michigan State University.

So going ass-over-teakettle could happen to anyone, including those who are not cognitively impaired, like you know who.

Boeing CEO will save US a few bucks

The CEO of Boeing told President-elect Donald Trump Wednesday that he can save the taxpayers a few bucks to build a new Air Force One since the original quote was unacceptable.

Early this month, Mr. Trump blasted Boeing for alleged cost overruns with the new fleet of Air Force One jets. He called on the government to cancel the contract and called the $4 billion price tag out of control.

Boeing CEO Dennis Muilenburg met with Trump at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, FL. He spoke to the media after the meeting and said, "We're going to get it done for less than that, and we're committed to working together to make sure that happens."

It seems like Trump isn't taking the "old school" political position that government stuff costs a lot. He's challenging it, and that's a good thing. While it doesn't make a dent in taxpayer expenditure for the year, it's a posture that sits well with conservatives who've long felt that the government has fleeced us long enough.

Trump also met with Lockheed Martin Corp's Marillyn Hewson after he had gone public about the exorbitant cost of its F-35.

While this may seem like small potatoes, it's a start at looking deeply into the costs we've been paying for things that may not cost as much as they're charging.

Simple. Smart.

Very Expensive Golf Balls and Goofing Off

Hey, President Obama deserves a vacation just like we do. Really.

So why is he not taking vacation just like we do? Don't we just have a few weeks off a year to recharge our batteries? Don't we spend money, sometimes even a few thousand dollars to unwind, especially now during tax season?

Barack Obama is simply going to sunny Florida to play some golf in his big boy shorts and all it's costing him is .  .  .  nothing.

Air Force One costs about $228 thousand an hour to operate and that's more tax money you and I will pay in our lifetime.

Barry is absconding to the Treasure Coast of Florida for the weekend, spending it in Palm City. He will golf at the (par 71) Floridian National Golf Club, with its 18 holes and grass with a better manicure than Michelle's toes.

Barry will be able to take in exquisite views of the St. Lucie River, surrounded by a natural preserve and wildlife while simultaneously taking our tax dollars to cover the cost. Who's got it better than him? He's got about 220 rounds of golf since screwing up the reputation of the country.

He will forgo the Arab League meeting in Egypt, slated to back the coalition comprised of Jordan, Egypt and Saudi Arabia that is invading Yemen. So what if this causes a Sunni-Shia clash that stands to do a lot of damage to the Middle East? Barry needs to blow off some tension, or something.

He will not worry about Lurch Kerry in Lausanne, Switzerland doing the Iranian appeasement-capitulation campaign to ensure that Iran is happy and the 12th imam makes his grand entrance into the world.

Why worry when Obama has the best of the best, like Susan Rice as his National Security Advisor? Didn't she make the call about Bowe Bergdahl?

Our Sky King and Queen

President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama flew from Washington D.C. to Los Angeles on Thursday. However, they flew on separate jets and the total cost for we taxpayers was no less than a million bucks.

King Barack flew on Air Force One to appear on Jimmy Kimmel's late-night show on ABC, and Queen Michelle went to the Warner Bros. studios in nearby beautiful Burbank for the Ellen Degeneres show.

Did I mention that the flights from D.C. to L.A. cost us $1,000,000.00? That's a lot of simoleons.

Air Force One costs around $200,000.00 for every hour in the air while the queen's flight is a bargain for us at around $28,000.00 an hour.

While Iran and ISIS go at it in Iraq; while Iran is probably close to developing a nuclear weapon and will use it; while the American embassy in Saudi Arabia is on the alert for a terrorist threat; our King attended a Democratic National Committee fundraiser and left on Friday morning for Phoenix to visit a Veterans' hospital (which I'm sure gave him indigestion), while our Queen returned directly to D.C.

I'm thinking, maybe they should fly coach.
