Capitol Police stop patriotic singing of children inside US Capitol where AOC was killed on Jan 6

Washington, D.C. -- In spite of Rushingbrook Children's Choir having secured permission from three congressional offices to sing the national anthem in our nation's capital, United States Capitol Police on Tuesday, bravely stepped in and stopped their performance just in the nick of time. After all, just because SC Reps William Timmons and Joe Wilson, along with House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, had given them written permission, that does not eliminate the possibility that the kids had an ulterior motive, such as advocating for the USA. How dare they!

The video shows a man, possibly a Russian operative, approaching the Choir Director and speak directly into his ear while the singers looked on in confusion right before they were ordered to cease and desist.

In the video, a man can be seen approaching the Choir Director, and speaking into his ear, as the singing children looked on in confusion before they were directed to cease singing.

The national anthem of the United States of America was cut off just before its most memorable line:

O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave.

It's may be the case that the US Capitol Police chief was told that the anthem offends the LGBTQ+1~BM community, BLM, Antifa, and progressive Democrats.

What a crock!

A representative from the choir was told that "certain Capitol police said it might offend someone/cause issues." pic.twitter.com/3J8BSBsBSu

So who could it really offend? Vladimir Putin? Ilhan Omar? Rashida Tlaib? Alexandria Obviously-Commie? Ayanna Pressley? David Duke? Al Sharptongue? The graduating class of Hunter College Law School?

Rushingville Children’s Choir is a Greenville, South Carolina-based Christian group. Its website conveys the religious mission of the young vocalists:
To awaken and develop in Christian young people their God-given musical ability, to nurture a sense of artistry in singing, and to do all for the glory of God.
No wonder they were told to stop singing--the left hates Christians.

If anyone is offended by the Star Spangled Banner, our national anthem, they should consider moving to a nation they believe is better than ours. Russia can use a few good commies.

Indiana lawmaker may get refunds for Colts fans if players kneel during National Anthem

Indianapolis -- NFL fans are sick and tired of players kneeling during the national anthem. Some Colt fans want their money back when players on their team kneel and it's possible these fans may get their wish if recent legislation by an Indiana lawmaker gets approved.

Rep. Milo Smith (R.-IN) represents the Columbus area. He told the Indianapolis Star that kneeling during the Star Spangled Banner is disrespectful to the government, and when he saw it himself he said that "it didn't sit right with me."

He has a point. After all, the title of the national anthem, "The Star Spangled Banner," is about the American flag, the symbol of our nation. To kneel during the anthem is disrespecting not only the flag, but what it symbolizes and those who have defended it and do so now.

"To me, when they take a knee during the national anthem, it's not respecting the national anthem or our country," Smith said. "Our government isn't perfect, but it's still the best country in the world and I think we need to be respectful of it."

Smith's bill wouldn't break any laws because it wouldn't stop players from kneeling, but would require the Colts to refund fans who want their money back. Also, it wouldn't require the Colts to refund fans if the opposing team members kneel during the national anthem, only if the Colt players kneel.

A New Orleans Saints season ticket holder filed a lawsuit earlier this month in Louisiana judicial district court claiming an alleged demonstration during the team's September 17 home game against the New England Patriots created an angry atmosphere that has since made his tickets unusable. He is seeking attorney's fees and an $8,000 refund.

Wouldn't it be wonderful if every fan decided that enough is enough.

Colin Kaepernick, GQ's Citizen of the Year

If your goal is to appeal to leftists and in the process, put yourself out of business, you need to follow the examples of GQ and Glamour magazines. But I'm only going to deal with the former rag, and discuss Glamour in a later post.

GQ magazine has named Colin Kaepernick, Citizen of the Year for 2017.

Kaepernick is a former duck-throwing quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers. He is now known as the mediocre QB responsible for starting a national movement to protest the Star Spangled Banner by taking a knee, ostensibly to protest  police brutality, which has nothing to do with the National Anthem and everything to do with disrespecting the flag and our military who've defended it and the nation for which it stands.

He also wore socks depicting cops as pigs.

Once Kaepernick got a bit of notoriety from his disrespectful display, other players joined the party and took a knee--one guy even did his stretching exercises during the playing of the anthem.

Roger Goodell, who's as useless as spectacles on testacles, refused to demand the player follow the NFL policy of standing during the playing of the anthem. In fact, now he wants a raise in salary to over $45 million.

Soon the disrespect spread like flies on a cow turd as even kids emulated their 'heroes.'  The pee wee league kids were doing it, and even a few cheerleaders dropped their pom poms in protest of something they knew not exactly what.

So GQ, the magazine that has been devolving for over half a century, has placed an unemployed football player who cannot elucidate the reason he takes a knee for the Star Spangled Banner--first it was to show support to the Black Lives Matter movement, a movement that is clearly anti-police, anti-establishment, anti-American.

"I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color," he told NFL Media in an exclusive interview in August 2016. "To me, this is bigger than football and it would be selfish on my part to look the other way. There are bodies in the street and people getting paid leave and getting away with murder."

Not to mention the bodies in the streets of Chicago, put there by gang bangers, almost entirely black, and in extremely high numbers.

But if you take a stand, if you protest about that, and try doing something to actually help the communities deal with this problem, you might actually make a difference. Some people in the communities of Chicago, often those connected with churches, actually do go out and help their communities, but GQ doesn't care about them.

Not to mention the incredible number of black babies aborted every year by single mothers by Planned Parenthood. Why not protest that organization started by Margaret Sanger, a staunch birth control advocate, and eugenicist.

But GQ apparently doesn't care about saving black kids--that isn't how they see good citizenship.

It is about alleged racial inequality and police brutality, and dishonoring the flag, the anthem and our military is the method of doing it. A non sequitur when it comes to making sense of taking a knee. The magazine called Kaepernick a "powerful symbol of activism and resistance."

No. A powerful symbol of activism was Mother Theresa. Another is the first responders and organizations like the all volunteer Cajun Navy who helped rescue people from the ravages of Hurricane Harvey. GQ never even considered those folks.

A powerful symbol of resistance was Rev. Martin Luther King. (Note how the left refuses to call him "Reverend" but instead refers to his as "Doctor" King.)

A powerful symbol of resistance was when a plumber from Sutherland Springs, Texas grabbed a gun when he heard his church was under attack, ran barefoot toward the church and shot at the killer, which saved countless lives. GQ forgot about him.

But GQ seems to be doing whatever it can to sell paper, and all they're doing is selling hatred.

CNN does it again: doesn't know diddly

Some say it's proof that CNN (Crappy News Network) is populated by non-citizens who don't know the difference between La Marseillaise and The Star-Spangled Banner. Others who defend them say it's simply proof that their journalists have graduated from American colleges where they 'don't teach that junk anymore.'

A CNN anchor, Poppy Harlow, mistook the Star-Spangled Banner for the French National Anthem while covering President Trump's arrival in France Thursday.

The two anthems are easy to confuse, especially if you live in the Middle East, or in a cave.

POTUS is in France to meet with President Emmanuel Macron and they will celebrate Bastille Day tomorrow. The two leaders shook hands and a band played the US National Anthem.

"Let's just listen in to the French National Anthem for just a moment," the Blake School and Columbia University graduate said.

D-urp
People in the background whispered--a few "duh"s could be heard and some friendly snickering before the genius realized her mistake.

"The U.S., American national anthem, I should say," she said with a silly chuckle in her educated throat. "Let's listen."

When you cannot even know the difference between your own nation's national anthem and France's, how do you keep from getting hit by cars when crossing the street?

Harlow's screw-up is just one of myriad screw-ups as the Trump and his administration continue to characterize CNN as "Fake News."

Our National Anthem: all the words

I thought it would be nice to post all of the words to the Star Spangled Banner--our National Anthem. I moved to Canada 4 years ago and I sometimes ache for my country. I applied for dual citizenship but I am and always will be, an American.
The Star-Spangled Banner
Text, Francis Scott Key, 1814. Music attributed to John Stafford Smith

Verse 1
O say, can you see, by the dawn's early light,
What so proudly we hail'd at the twilight's last gleaming?
Whose broad stripes and bright stars, thro' the perilous fight,
O'er the ramparts we watch'd were so gallantly streaming?
And the rockets' red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof thro' the night that our flag was still there.
O say, does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?

Verse 2
On the shore dimly seen thro' the mists of the deep,
Where the foe's haughty host in dread silence reposes,
What is that which the breeze, o'er the towering steep,
As it fitfully blows, half conceals, half discloses?
Now it catches the gleam of the morning's first beam,
In full glory reflected, now shines on the stream:
'Tis the star-spangled banner: O, long may it wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!

Verse 3
And where is that band who so vauntingly swore
That the havoc of war and the battle's confusion,
A home and a country should leave us no more?
Their blood has wash'd out their foul footsteps' pollution.
No refuge could save the hireling and slave
From the terror of flight or the gloom of the grave:
And the star-spangled banner in triumph doth wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave.

Verse 4
O thus be it ever when free-men shall stand
Between their lov'd home and the war's desolation;
Blest with vict'ry and peace, may the heav'n-rescued land
Praise the Pow'r that hath made and preserv'd us a nation!
Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just,
And this be ur motto: "In God is our trust!"
And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!

Think about that.
