US sanction Canadian company for its ties to $100,000,000 Hezbollah financing network

A Canadian company has been sanctioned by the United States government over its connections to a $100-million network accused of funding Hezbollah.

The US Treasury Department announced sanctions on Vancouver-based Seven Seas for International Trading and Logistics on Friday, as part of a move that targeted 16 individuals and entities led by Hezbollah financier and former public investment official Alaa Hassan Hamieh (Alaa Hamieh).

The Treasury said Alaa Hamieh owns multiple Hezbollah-associated companies, including Lebanon-based Seven Seas SAL Offshore, Seven Seas Group S.A.R.L, and others.

Seven Seas for International Trading and Logistics is the Canadian branch of Alaa Hamieh’s similarly named Lebanese companies. Its co-founder and CEO is Lebanese-Qatari national Raoof Fadel.

Fadel is sanctioned on the Specially Designated Nationals (SDN) list by the Office of Foreign Assets Control on account of his involvement with Hezbollah and the financing of Hezbollah.Seven Seas is sanctioned due to its association with Fadel and, thus, its connection to Hezbollah-related financial activity. All Seven Seas assets in the US are now frozen, and US persons and companies cannot do business with them.

Corporate records obtained by Global News show the sanctioned Seven Seas was registered in BC in 2022 and remains active. Its directors, Mohamad Wehbe and Ahmed Wehbe, have also been sanctioned by the US.

The company is not sanctioned in Canada.

BC’s Finance Ministry told the Canadian Press that it was not alerted to the situation before the US announcement, and officials are reaching out to federal counterparts.

“Any next steps from the province would be informed by that engagement with our federal partners,” it reportedly said.

Hezbollah is a designated terrorist entity in Canada as per the Criminal Code, and has been since December 2002.

The Treasury Department has sanctioned 40 Canadian companies and individuals. However, only seven are on the Specially Designated Global Terrorist list. One is Samidoun, which is accused of ties to the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine.

Look, folks, this is what actual financial warfare against terror looks like, and it is long overdue. While Canada sits there twiddling its thumbs and pretending Hezbollah is just some harmless social club with a rocket hobby, the U.S. Treasury is out here dropping the hammer on a slick $100 million money-laundering machine that funneled cash straight to the Iranian-backed killers.Alaa Hamieh, the former Lebanese public investment hotshot turned Hezbollah bagman, did not exactly hide his genius-level scheme. He just spread it around the family tree like a bad genetic trait. Lebanon-based Seven Seas outfits, Polish shells, Slovenian telecom fronts, a little Qatari flair, and boom, there is the Vancouver branch quietly humming along in British Columbia since 2022. Nice and legal on paper, until Uncle Sam notices the cash flow is not exactly headed toward puppy shelters.

Enter Raoof Fadel, the Lebanese-Qatari national playing CEO of the Canadian operation. Sanctioned. Frozen. Done. The whole Seven Seas crew in Canada now finds its U.S. assets locked tighter than a Trudeau apology, and American companies are officially told to steer clear or else. The directors, the Wehbe boys, they are on the list too. Shocker.

And yet, back in the Great White North? Crickets. The company is still active up there. BC’s Finance Ministry had to learn about it from the Americans, like some kid who missed the group text. “We are reaching out to federal counterparts,” they said. Translation: “We had no idea, please do not make us actually do something uncomfortable.”

Hezbollah has been a designated terrorist entity in Canada since December 2002, for crying out loud. That is not new information. It is not a surprise. It is just inconvenient when the money trail leads to nice Vancouver addresses and polite corporate filings.

The U.S. has now sanctioned 40 Canadian-linked folks and firms in this space. Only a handful make the big Global Terrorist list. One of them is Samidoun, the outfit accused of playing footsie with the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine. Pattern recognition, people. It is not that hard.

Meanwhile, the Treasury keeps doing the job that half the Western world would rather outsource. They are following the money, freezing the accounts, and reminding everyone that funding rocket attacks on civilians does not get a pass just because you wrapped it in a logistics company with a fancy nautical name.

Seven Seas. Adorable. More like Seven Seas of Hezbollah cash. And Canada still cannot quite bring itself to care until Washington makes it impossible to ignore. Business as usual in the land of endless “engagements with federal partners.”

Rama Duwaji, NYC First Lady, deletes old X account on account of it glorifying Islamic terrorists, Jew hatred and no love for USA

NYC Mayor Comrade Zohran Mamdani’s wife, Rama Duwaji, deactivated an old X account after a series of resurfaced posts showed her praising Palestinian terrorists, bashing Israel, and criticizing the US military.

The 28-year-old first lady of New York City, who has faced intense backlash over her social media history these past two weeks, removed the account a day after the Washington Free Beacon exposed a collection of disturbing posts she made on X and Tumblr during her teenage years and early twenties.

Although her X account, under the username @_RamaDee, has now been deleted as of Thursday, Duwaji’s public Instagram page, boasting 2 million followers, remains very much active.

Some might say

The wife of the socialist comrade mayor has come under sustained fire for her past online activity, ever since it emerged last week that she had liked Instagram posts celebrating Hamas’s deadly October 7, 2023 attack on Israel, including one that dismissed as a “mass hoax” the rapes carried out by the terror group against hostages and victims.

One cannot help but notice the pattern here: a young woman who once openly admired figures like Leila Khaled, the notorious plane hijacker, and members of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, now finds those youthful declarations inconveniently returning to public view, just as her husband occupies the highest office in America’s largest city. 

The deletions and the silences speak volumes, even if the words themselves have been quietly taken down.

U. of MN Pres. admits he agreed to anti-Israel/anti-Semitic terms to end protest but didn't understand the language

University of Minnesota interim president Jeff Ettinger informed the state senate Tuesday that he sold is soul by signing an agreement to appease anti-Semitic student activists. He cowardly caved to them in order to end their illegal occupation [aka trespassing] of the campus and he supposedly did not understand the Arabic word they use that justifies violence, even killing, of Israelis who tend to be Jewish.

Ettinger and the potential terrorists reached an agreement last month to end a “Gaza Solidarity Encampment, which is a collection of smelly tents used by the anti-Semites for several weeks. They refused to leave unless the administration agreed to boycott and divest from Israel [except for the cool stuff Israel invented like: USB Flash Drives, Waze, Pill Cam, ReWalk, ICQ, cherry tomatoes, Mobileye, SolarEdge, OrCam,  Orbotech, and Netafim, to name just a few].

The university issued a statement in which school officials used the term “thawabet,” a main component of the ideology of the anti-Israel/anti-Semitic movement. Thawabet asserts its intention to eliminate Israel and establish a Palestinian state in its place, like Islam strides to do all around the globe.

“That was a mistake by our administration,” Ettinger told Sen. Ron Latz (D), who had asked him about the university's decision on Tuesday. “The way things transpired that day, we ended up doing the final versions of that document at five in the morning. Those had been the topics — I mean they were kind of characterized by the students as their ‘demands’ — we looked at them as topics. But clearly, I didn’t even know what that word meant, so clearly to repeat that word then in a communication back was a mistake by the administration.”

Shades of Hogan's Heroes Nazi Sergeant Schultz: "I see nothing! I hear nothing! I know nothing!" Ettinger knew nothing, he claims, and never actually questioned the activists. Why do the research when the [final] solution fits your agenda.

In 2010, a founder of the terrorist group Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), Bilal al-Hassan, explained thawabet in an interview with the anti-Zionist website Electronic Intifada.

Al-Hassan explained that the concept historically represents opposition to United Nations Resolution 181, a decision rendered by the nascent body in 1947 which partitioned British Mandatory Palestine into Jewish and Arab states and led to the establishment of Israel the following year. 

Thawabet, he said, was central to the founding charter of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), a terrorist organization which evolved to be recognized as the official representative and governing authority of Arabs living in Gaza and the West Bank. For al-Hassan, “liberating” Palestinians meant reversing the 1947 settlement and expelling Jews from the area. You remember those guys at the 1972 Munich Olympics, right? 

In 1996, the PLO — led at the time by terrorist scumbag Yasser Arafat — voted overwhelmingly to remove the call for mass terror and elimination of Israel from its charter to signal that it was negotiating a settlement to end the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in good faith. He was looking to change his image at that time after his jihadis known as Black September captured and unmercifully murdered 11 Israeli athletes and coaches.

After that time, Arafat had met in person with two Israeli prime ministers, Yitzhak Rabin and Shimon Peres, as part of the Oslo Accords, a peace process that was fervently supported by former US President Bill "I did not have sex with that woman" Clinton. Arafat lobbied for the move, saying, as reported by The New York Times in 1996, that failing to do so would harm efforts to establish a Palestinian state.

This, al-Hassan told Electronic Intifada, was an ideological and tactical failure because Jews still existed.

“The PLO was destroyed with the alteration of the charter,” he said. “The reason that the thawabet now play an important role in our struggle is that it is now an expression of a politico-historical position against the path of the negotiated settlement — that we usually refer to as the Oslo process — and against the Palestinian Authority’s engagement with this process, its departure from thawabet, and its retreat in the face of the ongoing Zionist colonization of our country. It goes without saying that goals of the struggle such as the return of the refugees and the liberation of the land and people are central pillars of thawabet.”

Their struggle?

Why the University of Minnesota incorporated thawabet, a call for violence and rejection of peace between Israel and the Arabs into an official statement is unclear. And why was it acceptable to apologize to pro-Hamasshole protesters, granting them amnesty and a promise to meet with top school officials to discuss the possibility of divesting from Israel [except for the cool stuff].

Despite the fact during Tuesday's hearing the students made it painfully clear that they supported terrorism during the May encampment, Ettinger said of thawabet, “I didn’t know what that word meant.” 

Except that he did--the school has a history of allowing anti-Zionist/anti-Semitic views. After all, they appointed anti-Zionist/anti-Semitic "scholar" Raz Segal to have the post of director of the school’s Center for Holocaust and Genocide Studies — a decision that Ettinger walked back after community organizations noted that Segal justified Hamas’ Oct. 7 atrocities less than a week after they were committed.

Ettinger, who is a useful idiot, was subjected to a faculty no-confidence vote revoking Segal’s appointment, will soon leave office. The University of Minnesota’s incoming president, Rebecca Cunningham, will be inaugurated in July.

Gaza terror group may have accidentally shot down a fellow terrorist drone

The armed wing of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) is a Gaza-based terrorist group whose goal is to kill as many Jews as Allah permits, and destroy Israel--don't let their name fool you. They claimed on Saturday that they downed an "Israeli spy aircraft," probably a small propellor drone, but alas, it may have belonged to a fellow terrorist organization and they will need to buy a new one at the "Terrorists R Us" store.

An Israel Defense Forces spokeswoman [terrorists never use spokeswomen because they think women are inferior] said she had no knowledge of such an incident and she would know because she's very close to people high up in the IDF.

Haaretz, a left-wing Israeli paper, citing unnamed Gaza sources, later reported that the UAV [aka drone] was in fact operated by the Islamic Jihad, another Gaza terror group.

The Islamic Jihad drone was downed near Khan Younis in the south of the Strip after being mistaken for an Israeli aircraft and had likely been supplied to Islamic Jihad by Iran, the report said. The PFLP promised to buy them a new one for Eid.

Islamic Jihad was said to be investigating the incident alongside the "Fightin' Hamassholes."

It was the second drone-downing incident in the Strip this week. On Tuesday the IDF had said one of its drones had fallen in Gaza overnight. Palestinian media reported that the drone was shot down and was seized by Hamas.

In a statement, the military said it was investigating the incident.

Hamas claimed it spotted the drone and shot it down with gunfire east of Rafah, [not to be confused with the great Spanish tennis champion] in the southern Gaza Strip, the Shehab news agency reported. According to the report, the aircraft was apparently a helicopter-type drone.

On Monday the Hezbollah terror group claimed it shot down an IDF drone over southern Lebanon, but Hezhollians tend to be lousy marksmen so it's improbable.

The IDF confirmed that the drone fell inside Lebanese territory. Asked if the aircraft had been shot down or crashed due to a technical issue, an army spokesperson said, “It fell, as far as I know.”

Some of the IDF’s smaller drones crash with relative frequency, owing to their size, simple design and eBay batteries. These drones are nothing like the far more advanced UAVs used by the IDF.
