Planned Parenthood botched abortion, killed woman and tried to cover it up

If there’s one thing the abortion lobby and its media stenographers hate more than transparency, it’s transparency that wrecks the narrative. That’s why officials in Colorado were apparently working overtime to keep details about 18-year-old Lexi Arguello’s death under wraps after a second-trimester abortion at Planned Parenthood in Fort Collins.

A newly unredacted autopsy report, obtained by the pro-life groups Operation Rescue and Life Legal Defense Foundation, confirms that Ms. Arguello died from complications related to the botched abortion procedure.

The county coroner tried to keep the abortion details redacted, citing “Colorado’s strong public policy in favor of protecting reproductive healthcare [sic],” because apparently the public learning what actually happened might make women think twice. Can’t have that. A judge, however, ordered the records released because laws are still occasionally a thing.

According to the Larimer County coroner’s report, Arguello “died of complications of surgical pregnancy termination, including disseminated intravascular coagulation,” which is a severe and potentially deadly blood-clotting disorder. The report also listed “probable amniotic fluid embolism, refractory shock, and multiorgan failure” as “significant contributing conditions.”

Arguello was nearly 22 weeks pregnant when she underwent a D&E dismemberment abortion at the Planned Parenthood facility in Fort Collins. After the procedure, she reportedly developed low blood pressure and a rapid heartbeat while in recovery.

D&E stands for Dilation and Extraction in which the cervix is softened and dilated over hours or days with medications (e.g., misoprostol). Then evacuation is done using anesthesia (local, sedation or general), then vacuum aspiration is done to remove amniotic fluid and some baby tissue, followed by forceps or other instruments to extract the remainder of the baby's body and placenta tissue. Ultrasound guidance is often used.

In many D&E cases (especially later in the second trimester), the fetus is removed in parts ("piecemeal") because it is too large to pass intact through the dilated cervix. This involves grasping and removing limbs, torso sections, or other parts.

Last year, SBA Pro-Life America reported disturbing details from Lexi’s grandparents:

“According to Lexi’s grandparents, instead of calling for an ambulance immediately, Fort Collins Planned Parenthood admitted they waited too long to call for help and they specifically requested no sirens on the ride to the hospital.”

Nothing says “trust the experts” quite like allegedly delaying emergency care and asking the ambulance crew to keep things quiet.

Despite receiving a blood transfusion, Arguello died at the hospital on February 6, 2025.

SBA Pro-Life America President Marjorie Dannenfelser responded to the report:

“Lexi Arguello’s autopsy is definitive: Another young mom has been killed by abortion and Planned Parenthood. Arguello’s death isn’t just a tragedy, it is a pattern of callousness on the part of America’s largest abortion business. Even The New York Times now admits Planned Parenthood provides shoddy so-called ‘care’ and harms women, on top of ending a record 434,000 unborn lives in a single year. Pro-life laws protect unborn children and women, but the Big Abortion industry doesn’t care about babies or mothers – they care about their profits. How many more victims are out there, whose names we do not even know, thanks to officials like the coroner who are more concerned about running cover than letting the truth come out?”

She also pointed directly at Colorado’s abortion laws and Democratic leadership:

“Colorado’s extreme all-trimester abortion laws allowed this to happen. Under Democrat Governor Jared Polis, Colorado is one of nine states and D.C. that have no limits on abortion at any point in pregnancy. In any of these locations, the barbaric late-term dismemberment abortion that killed Lexi and her baby is 100% legal today. At almost 22 weeks, unborn babies respond to sound like mom or dad’s voice, feel pain, and may even survive outside the womb – and as longtime Colorado abortionist Warren Hern knew well, most abortions regardless of gestational age involve healthy babies and healthy moms. Women, however, are at significantly more risk of dying in late-term abortions. If that wasn’t enough, just weeks after Lexi’s death, Colorado Democrats passed a law forcing taxpayers to pay for even more abortions in Medicaid and in health coverage for children.”

Dannenfelser finished with a call for federal action:

“This is a national disgrace that calls for national leadership and solutions. Abortion businesses like Planned Parenthood don’t deserve a dime of taxpayer dollars. We thank House Speaker Mike Johnson and Senate Majority Leader John Thune for their work to defund [JD1]Big Abortion in reconciliation. We also strongly support legislation in Congress to ensure that dangerous, inhumane dismemberment abortions cannot happen anywhere in our great nation. In America, where you live should not determine whether you live.”

And to think, Planned Parenthood still receives taxpayer money to end lives, both legally and incompetently.

Abortion clinic caught covering up sexual abuse of young girl

Abortion Free New Mexico recently spotlighted some fresh undercover footage from the investigative sharpies over at the New Mexico Sentinel. The hidden-camera gem was shot on November 26, 2025, at the Valley Abortion Group in Albuquerque, better known by its charming acronym, the VAG clinic.

VAG likes to pat itself on the back for providing abortion with “survivor-centered care,” which sounds lovely until you watch the Sentinel video where clinic staff casually chat with some random guy about how simple it would be to haul a pregnant 14-year-old from Texas up to their New Mexico shop for the procedure.

The man claimed the girl was his “niece,” but the staff didn't so much as raise an eyebrow, pause, or bother to wonder if this dude was really an uncle or just a garden-variety sexual predator trying to tidy up his own mess.

“The minute this man came in asking how to get an abortion for a 14-year-old minor, any legitimate healthcare staff would have recognized a possible red flag,” says Troy Newman, President of Operation Rescue. “But these abortion workers not only explained how to circumvent Texas abortion laws, including parental consent, they also readily explained how to get all the costs covered, including the cost of the abortion, travel, and hotel. This dump is a human trafficker’s dream come true.”

VAG staff also cheerfully informed the guy, “We go up to 34 weeks… so technically there is almost no deadline.”

Operation Rescue’s 2025 Annual Survey, which combs through data from every abortion clinic in the country, couldn't pin down any real cut-off date from VAG either.

“This undercover video only confirms what our investigators already knew,” says Newman. “This new clinic is willing to abort through all nine months of pregnancy, and for any reason. No baby in utero is safe at any gestational age from these killers. And certainly no women are safe, as their staff already show no concern about reporting possible sexual abuse or human trafficking. It’s clearly a no questions asked operation.”

‘No questions asked’ has been the go-to motto for abortion in New Mexico for ages, and it's as dangerous as it sounds in one of the ten states with zero gestational limits.

Operation Rescue just reported on the passing of late-term abortionist Susan Robinson, who used to crow about how wonderfully lax New Mexico's abortion laws were, letting her kill babies deep into the third trimester. In a 2013 interview, she bragged, “So there is nothing legal to stop me from doing any abortion that I think is appropriate.”

Tara Shaver from Abortion Free New Mexico weighed in, “New Mexico’s lack of oversight has created a system where abortion businesses can openly market to patients from other states, including vulnerable minors, while operating with minimal regulatory scrutiny . . . New Mexico is rapidly becoming the epicenter of a cross-state abortion industry, yet state leaders continue to refuse meaningful oversight or transparency.”

The VAG Clinic, which swung its doors open in December 2024, obviously gets that New Mexico is happy to green-light any abortion at all, even one involving a potentially coerced or abused 14-year-old girl based solely on the say-so of her so-called “uncle.”

Newman added, “I guess ‘survivor-centered care’ is right. Any woman would be lucky to survive this so-called clinic, especially if her pimp or abuser came around beforehand to make sure no staff member was going to ask any tough questions. New Mexico officials should be investigating this dump, not protecting it. It took one guy with a hidden camera to show the real face of this facility. Imagine what an official investigation might uncover.”

Look, the whole thing is a grim circus of evasion, euphemism, and zero accountability, wrapped in a bow of self-congratulatory "care" rhetoric that wouldn't fool anyone paying attention. New Mexico's abortion free-for-all is less about women's health and more about keeping the questions at bay while the cash rolls in. If that's "survivor-centered," count me out of the survivor club.

Elizabeth 'Dances with Dingbats' Warren compares abortion to a tonsillectomy

Sen. Elizabeth Warren in her incredibly shrill and annoying voice has on several occasions compared killing an unborn baby in the womb is like having your tonsils taken out. 

But a new fact check by Politifact may have obfuscated the truth and fooled some voters.

On Wednesday, the far left propaganda machine ran the headline: “The Elizabeth Warren quote likening abortion to tonsil removal? It’s edited and taken out of context.”

LifeNews.com reports:

Politifact based its fact check on a post about Warren that Facebook recently flagged as “fake news.” 

According to the “fact check”: 

The post features a photo of the Massachusetts senator with text above and below the image that reads: “‘Having an abortion is no different than someone having their tonsils removed.’ – Liberal Democrat Senator Elizabeth Warren. Yes she really said this and is really this d— crazy and stupid!” 

The post was flagged as part of Facebook’s efforts to combat false news and misinformation on its News Feed.

It is not clear where the post came from, and it was soon removed. It appears to have been a hand-made graphic, not an article or post from a news site or blog.

Politifact rated the post “mostly false,” calling it “heavily edited” and taken out of context, but they are lying. Warren made the comparison between an unborn baby and a tonsillectomy.

On Jan. 21, 2018, Warren wrote a column for Time magazine to celebrate the anniversary of Roe v. Wade:

“On the 45th anniversary of Roe vs. Wade, I think about what has changed since abortions became legal. Our healthcare system has pretty much dealt with the safety issue: thanks to Roe vs. Wade, abortion is now safer than getting your tonsils out.”

So if you want to check facts, avoid using Politifact.

Later in July of last year, she wrote basically the same thing in piece published in Marie Claire.

“When abortions are illegal, women don’t stop getting them— they just risk their lives to do it. Today, thanks to Roe, getting an abortion is safer than getting your tonsils out. Before Roe v. Wade, many women turned to back-alley butchers to end their pregnancies.”

The pro-life watchdog group Operation Rescue refuted evidence about the safety of abortion recently, comparing the number of ambulance transports from colonoscopy clinics [where Warren would go for a tonsillectomy based on where her tonsils are located] in Missouri, to those from the state’s only abortion facility. It found that the frequency of ambulance transports for patient emergencies was four and a half times higher at the abortion clinic.

Evidence from former abortion clinic workers, patients and state health inspection reports indicate that abortion facilities frequently do not always report patient complications.

More importantly,  according to Planned Parenthood and the Guttmacher Institute, most women did not seek back alley abortions prior to Roe, as Warren tried to make us believe.

According to Dr. Mary Calderone, the medical director of Planned Parenthood wrote in 1960:

“… about 90 percent of all illegal abortions are presently being done by physicians…Whatever trouble arises usually arises from self-induced abortions, which comprise approximately 8 percent, or with the very small percentage that go to some kind of non-medical abortionist…So remember…abortion, whether therapeutic or illegal, is in the main no longer dangerous, because it is being done well by physicians.”

An abortion is nothing like a tonsillectomy. In the latter, a tiny organ of the mother is removed to prevent complications. In the former, a baby is killed, usually inside the mother, to prevent life complications of raising a child. Also, evidence suggest that abortions aren't safe for the mother either.
